BACK TO THE GOLDMINE! New Update Hydroneer Episode 1 | Z1 Gaming

[Music] what is going on everybody z here and welcome back to hydroneer it's been a little bit but there was an update there was a power and logic update uh it looks like it sounds like it changed a lot of things so i figured you know what it is a good time let's start a fresh new save let's get things going let's stay organized because my last series i had stuff all over the place it was horrible terrible awful disaster anyways we're going to get on into it hopefully you guys enjoy if you do make sure you leave a like if you're new here don't forget to subscribe as well for some more so what is hydro near it is a gold mining sim game but it's a little bit more light-hearted a little bit more fun to play also this thing is new oh my gosh oh my gosh this thing is new whoa oh we could we could run around with the cart that's it it goes flying oh this is amazing okay hold on so if i pick this up can i put this on here okay and i grab this then we have a cart and we just go oh that's amazing oh this is actually super handy because like before when you start the game off you don't have anything to like carry stuff from like pointing to point b so this is super nice anyways okay so let's go ahead and let's get some of things going shall we now we need to make some moolah some cash dinero uh we have a map the map is super cool super neat but i want to actually go and look at something real quick because there is they added some things with power and automation so i actually want to run over here i just want to kind of take a peek at what is new before we start going anywhere before you start doing anything oh look at that no excavator allowed there oh that's cool okay so let's run over to this other town real quick and let's see what we got oh land for sale uh direct quarry mid milido's aquifer and south hope oh that's kind of cool okay and then there's the bridge and then what's over here what's this way i don't remember if i ever go wait what is what is this place okay so we have you know standard stuff water pipes wrenches those buy and sell what area is this i don't remember this area i don't remember this little place this place is super cool though super neato and then there's the stock markets okay interesting i don't i just i don't remember uh i don't remember this place maybe i just never went over here i mean there's not a whole lot here exactly but still kind of cool okay so let's go over to the main city the big city and i want to look at the new logic stuff and the processors and powers and things like that i kind of just want to read what the machines are what they do so we have an idea of what was added all right so bridgeport historic mining town i don't remember that sign being there either you know there's probably a lot of stuff that's like that was there the whole time and i'm just not gonna notice it because you know it's an update and i'm looking at like everything there is to look at all right so what do we have here we have scrap yard okay so we know that that's about the same oh no there's a new update new this way power and logic new this way i love that oh that's funny okay so we have hobson's power works okay oh my gosh all right so we have a powered magnet when powered pulls in objects within a two block distance uh reactor the ultimate shard powered technology outputs power requires water keep fingers and toes away while operating we have a battery okay so that is battery things we have a cork uh we have power lines oh those are super cool transports power from reactors uh powered filter when powered provides 100 filtered water drains power powered david-powered dynamic auto voxel inclusion distributor a device which duplicates dirt from near by when powered drains small power a power destroyer destroys items empowered leaves no trace of the item drains a small item amount of power that's cool uh intake pipe outputs a hundred percent water pressure when powered drains small power pressure booster when power provides 100 water pressure drains power that's super neat pilot light power line emits a small light to highlight when power is being passed through does not drain power okay so that's just saying that the line has power uh light pole power line produces light when powered color can change when nine digit logic rgb value is entered drains small power that's super cool so there's some lighting uh straight power valve stops to transfer power uh use logic values to toggle zero to turn off one to turn on that's super neat okay so what do we have over here a logic smelter advanced smelting technology requires logic input to create bar takes damage drains large amounts of power logic durability reader passes a durability reading every second in facing an item which has durability logic spanning hurling unit when any logic value bigger than zero is entered hurls spanner forward can be refilled by spanners or tool bags so it's like a okay so it's like a like a repair deal uh logic valve stops the flow of water can be toggled manually or remotely from by logic cables oh what is this custom logic number sends an input custom number through logic logic switch a logic button logic reader cables straight logic cables oh my gosh there's just so many new things what is this logic counter counts items pass through the gate counter is set by passing logic into the two okay so it's like a counter item we got more cables oh my gosh there's like this right here probably adds so many different things that you can do explosive logic explosives yes that is what we need okay so uh is there anything over here that would also utilize any of that powery stuff so let's go into tools and equipment does this does anything okay so i be i bet all of this is probably about the same okay so that makes sense so and then we have uh conveyors conveyors i do not believe require power they only use water okay so let's go back over to the power um oh my gosh there's a stunkin ship here itchy carts there's a sunken ship uh okay so here's the carts oh that's super cool fast wooden cart agile wooden cart agile designed to transport items agilely designed to transport items quickly this should have been fastly uh standard wooden cart okay so that's probably what i have okay so i'm just thinking here um i'm gonna look through this stuff and i want to kind of think how i would set it up and how these could be useful so i would say you'd probably throw a reactor of course because that's like that's what gives you the power and then batteries obviously as a battery backup um and then you power your david to duplicate your soil for your drills to run off and then you could um upgrade your filters by using a powered line instead of a shard powered line well actually filters aren't sharp powered anyways so maybe this doesn't degrade over time that could be it could be that it doesn't degrade over time and then you have this which also this also does give you 100 filtered water which is which is super nice because i think the standard the standard stuff gives you like 50 or like 75 or something like that um so that is nice in itself especially for like longer runs uh along with this uh a pressure booster that would be super handy for that the destroyer would probably get be good for like an end production line like if you just had dirt or whatever and you didn't want to deal with um you know sending it back through a line or whatever that could just destroy that so i can understand all of that um logic smelter like a smelter i mean obviously it's a smelter right so like stuff goes in there it smells it turns it into bars but you could probably control because it has it it has logic you could probably control how much gold or how much iron goes per bar on that one um and then durability reader spanner that stuff logic valve valve turn things off and on uh using a switch like this instead of using a valve you could probably place this anywhere because you have all of these that you can connect to the like a valve to turn stuff on so that makes sense this powers everything okay okay these are the only thing that i'm not 100 sure on a counter counts items past the gate um maybe you could i'm not exact i'm not exactly sure about these because i don't know why i don't know what i would need to be comparing in order to make like one thing in particular but more to come on that more to come on all right so without further ado let's get started because we have no money we have nothing we don't have anything set up anywhere we gotta get it going we gotta get it going let's head back to our starting area let's start making some money and let's start our journey into hydroneer oh you know what i didn't even notice but the idea they added a whole other side to this place because before it was only this side and now there's this side too okay so um i need a shovel do i have any money whatsoever i don't think i do uh because i'd like to buy a shovel improved shovel where's my where's the bog standard shovel i don't think i have anything do we have anything in here no do do i have ember cradle that's the name of this one do we have anything in any of these uh no okay so let's take this out uh can i use i can't use you to dig dirt wait i need a shovel so where's where's my shovel do i have a shovel there's gotta be a shovel here somewhere oh i found it i found a shovel all right so let's go ahead let's start getting things going here by uh by getting a little bit of a little bit of dirt in this guy and then let's see let's just go ahead and drop that fill that up in there drop this in there nope nope nope stop it thank goodness water doesn't actually fall out uh and then oh come on get in in there there we go all right do we have any gold we've got little bitty teeny tiny bits of gold and little teeny tiny bits of iron very nice um let's go ahead and get some more i feel like we should get another bucket to put like this stuff in for now because i want to my goal is to try to stay semi-organized a little bit i don't know if it's gonna happen but we'll see all right so we have a little bit of stuff here uh let's go sell this just to get a little bit of cash now we could we can't really do anything with it we just kind of have to sell like the raw ore for now but that's oh hey hey nope nope come back here get back your piece of gold i need you to get in here so i can sell you no oh come on okay we're good let's go sell this um we gotta go to the jeweler to sell this don't we uh let's see right here 42 dollars heck yes look at that oh my gosh we have money all right so with that we have four we have 42 dollars improved shovels 78 i'm broke i can't afford anything uh bucket a pan you know what let's get uh let's get a pan let's get another pan so that way we can we can sort our stuff let's do that oh look at that we got some uh we got some pretty decent sizes of gold here okay so we're gonna throw these in there try to keep things organized now ideally what we want to do and what i'm trying to do is i'm trying to use this spot right here i'm trying to go in the same spot and i'm digging in this hole and i'm digging as deep down as i can because that's where like the good dirt is the deeper you go the the better the dirt uh do we have another one okay we don't have another one so then we should be getting bigger pieces but um i need to make sure that i'm getting water in here now we could do a little bit of upgrades we're going to i'm going to try to get like an intake pipe in here so this is constantly filling up so we don't have to like manually uh dip it every single time heck yeah look at that oh we're getting all all the pieces oh three solid pieces of gold there oh yeah we're gonna be rich before you know you know what i'm gonna tell you right now if i found a golden nugget that was that big that was almost this like look at look at the size of this bucket like a standard water bucket versus that if you found a piece of gold that size you would be a filthy rich nowadays like you would be so like that right there you'd be set for like life because that's like a lot of gold it's a lot of gold all right um i'm gonna go ahead i'm gonna get some more done here and then we're gonna see if we can buy some things to make our lives just that much easier okay so i have this i have this pan full of gold it's only worth 53. i don't know it's gonna be worth more than that come on 53 oh all right i guess let's see what we need for like an intake pipe oh my gosh i have a total of 72 intake pipe is 36. and then that could put it into are these what are these blacksmithing hammers do we have build hammers so i can like lock stuff down or do we not have build hammers over here it doesn't look like we have build hammers over here all right so let's grab our wood foundation now there's got to be a build hammer in here somewhere oh there it is right there construction hammer 42 for that guy oh my goodness all right let's buy this uh we have a total of 72. we have a total of 36 left let's go place this down and we're gonna try to get this set up a little bit so we're not having to so we're not having to like automate something so much um it needs to be in the water okay we'll just set that there okay so that's what that's gonna do uh let's see how much money we can spend on getting something organized up a little here now i could use some of these that's 22 per deal i only have 36 left uh i would like to get a foundation in the construction hammer but i don't think we're gonna be able to do that let's go and grab one of these 36-22 not gonna have enough we need i need like one more of these pipes one more of these elbows and then we would be solid okay uh i have enough for the elbow grab that guy we'll grab this and we'll place it over here and then we can place our pan down underneath where the water is coming out at and not have to uh not have to re like refill it every single time can you like connect right there perfect and then you are gonna go right here somewhere i think that would work i think that'll work okay cool so now i don't worry about dipping that everything every single time all i can all i have to do is just throw uh throw the dirt into it and it should be good and then we scrub scrub scrub scrub and then it fills back up with water yeah okay it works good we are good to go that right there that's like just saving a little step that's super nice and now i don't have to worry about that stuff anymore heck yeah oh we got one of our first shards fancy i don't have a bucket for that one though that one does not have a bucket yet so these shards are used to like uh power things so it's pretty handy pretty neat oh that's actually what the reactor and stuff uses too all right so after a little bit of mining what do we got 106 heck yes that's a little bit better still not fantastic oh they don't buy those power shards apparently okay all right all right good to know good to know so i guess i'm just forever stuck with these power shards forever all right let's take these back uh let's see what can we upgrade next we could get a better shovel um i'm just trying to see what we could get to help with our automation of things because that's what i'm worried about like i want to automate as much as quickly as i can so what would help us is if we could get some smelting going so we could actually turn these into bars but i mean that's 86 and then 18 and then 42 and then a black smithing hammer used with an anvil to create a weapon or jewelry um so like i mean we couldn't make bars but i don't think we don't have enough money for that yet so i think the improved shovel to help us out it's probably gonna make things speed up a little quicker so we'll go with that how much do we have left we have 48 left um pickaxe is 122. that would help us get down to like the uh the deeper levels faster uh i've actually never fished in this game too that's kind of funny i've never fished i wonder where we can get from fishing maybe fishing is the way to sell maybe maybe that's maybe this is secretly the money making thing maybe i don't know um i would like to get wood foundations and can the construction hammer so that we can get like a little tiny little teeny tiny base kind of thing going actually you know what let's get the uh do we want to get a construction hammer first let's get the construction hammer too let's do that let's make that happen we'll grab that okay so now i only have i have six dollars left in my name all right so let's take this guy improve shovel i think it makes it so that way we only have to it gets more dirt per uh per shovel if you will and then the construction hammer basically locks things down to the ground so that they can't move uh which is what i want to do with this oh i can't i can't lock that down okay all right well i guess we're not locking that down then but that'll be useful for foundations and like the other stuff we get going as well let's go and put this guy back over here i don't need you hey look a lantern i guess i could put that over here so i can see what we're doing maybe kind of sort of well that doesn't help at all it didn't really help that much did it all right let's get uh let's get mining again shall we all right we've got 164 to our names i think we should be able to afford the stuff that we need to make this happen uh 146 164 hahaha it is time okay how much do i have left now 18 okay um all right so let's run these over here it's almost morning time i really need to buy a bed so we can pass like daytime stuff or past nighttime because like it's you know super hard and dark to see super dark and hard to see uh and then i want to get some foundations as well all right we got some foundations in looking good let's go ahead and grab our hammer real quick construction hammer and if i hit these ting ting ting i can't accidentally pick them up where did my hammer just go right here okay i lost it i was like no we lost okay so then we need to get this guy placed as well so we'll place that on there let's go ahead and get the crucible hit that guy or the the hammer hit that guy and then uh we do need that but that's where we're gonna put like the uh the bars and stuff like that and then this guy we need to go ahead and place oh i don't know i can't actually place this one can i i'm just going to set it down i don't think can i hit that with the hammer no i can't i can't hit that item down darn it okay oh i undid that one okay let's redo that okay perfect all right now we can smelt some bars and then hopefully get uh get some things that are a little bit more valuable okay so i have a little bit of gold a little bit of iron we can go ahead and start smelting that let's grab this and let's do the gold for hey hey hey you go back over there stay there we're gonna throw all of the gold into here and we're gonna make ourselves our first golden bar and then we'll make an iron bar too because you know might as well all right there we go and then we will set this in there and then i think once that's done i think we wait for it to melt and then we pour it into the bar mold and uh we'll see what kind of bar we get out of this and it's ready i guess we'll pour it on there oh it's a full-size bar it's not like a little teeny tiny bar okay let's grab the iron too okay so there's all the iron let's go and throw this guy back on here and uh wait for that to to make its sizzly sound oh we have our first golden bar oh it's so nice so nice i wonder how much it's worth probably not a lot probably not a lot there's the magic sound and dump and oh full size bar full size bars all right let's take these and let's sell these bad boys i should be able to throw them in here i think uh maybe yeah perfect okay so we could either sell these to the jeweler or we could check out the stock market and see what the stocks are because you know stonks right 139 okay so hold on let's see how much how much is this guy worth 81 what's the stocks right now do we have any stocks for gold bars we don't have anything for gold bars here or iron bars um let's run watch this total 139 let's run down to this town over here i think maybe they buy bars let's see what we got okay so gold bars are up and soar iron bars so that guy's 84. what was that the other one wasn't an 86 at the other one no 81 okay all right so we get a little a little bit more per uh per deal i guess so we'll just sell it there hey you know what i'm not throwing a fit a couple bucks is a couple bucks all right we'll sell that we'll set our coin down right there and then this guy it's 58 not bad not bad let's go ahead and combine those and then throw those into here 142 it's not that great pretty sure i mean i think my last haul was more than that oh the struggles of getting started you know am i right am i right so we have a total of 146 dollars on us um let's see what would be the next best purchase i guess i mean a grinding wheel would be good because we have gotten a couple of gems but i'm thinking of pickaxe because that we could pickaxe down to the lower levels and get uh get more get better dirt i think we're gonna go with a pickaxe to be honest yeah let's go with the pickaxe and we have 24 left okay so the reason i want a pickaxe is because we could come over here and essentially we could start digging our way down to the lower levels and uh it's always worth more once you get to like the bottom now we are just losing the dirt that i'm mining right now but that's okay that's not that's not the worst thing ever okay so there's absolute like bedrock right there um it'd be nice if we could get out of here relatively easy without issues or it'd be nice if we get out of here at all come on okay we're good we're good um there's actually some angled foundations we could get that would uh give a or ladders i think it's is it ladders or stairs that would be super handy all right where's my lantern my lantern's down here let's grab that we're gonna throw it down at the bottom of this guy so we can actually kind of see what the heck's going on here and then i need to be able to get out of here oh my gosh oh man this is not good um is there i'm stuck let's just get unstuck i need to be able to get i need to be able to get out of here we've got to be able to get out of here though okay i think i made it so we can get in and out of here uh there's this little path right here that we can follow up and then i can jump up to here and then up to here and we're good okay so the reason i did all of that work was because we should be able to get some much higher quality dear tay down here all right so if i grab my bucket uh i'm stuck and if i grab the dirt that's straight up on the bedrock we should be able to get a little bit higher quality stuff out of it which means more money faster less trips let's see let's see if this pays off at all yeah see look at the size of those nugs look at the size of those nugs comparatively i mean that iron one is huge okay hold on where did my other pan go there you are i need you all right i'm gonna do a little bit of this and we're gonna see like what kind of nugs we're expecting here oh yeah see look at that that was one bucket right there giant nug a giant nug semi-giant nug totally worth it okay so this was only like three or four trips like nothing compared to what i was doing earlier where i was doing like 20 trips let's go ahead and let's turn this into a bar and let's see what we're going to get off of these guys because look at the size of these nooks this is some big old nugs all right there's our golden bar let's go see how much this bad boy's worth those were some pretty big nugs and we do know that gold is up right now i believe uh nope it went down never mind i thought it only changed during once a day oh you know what that was part of the update i think they said the stocks actually uh they work a little bit differently now so that's unfortunate but we're gonna see what we're gonna get off of this guy 291 291 we got we got like double our top earning money and it was like half the trips so worth it yes that is what i like to see with with money like that we could actually start getting into some of the automation stuff that's going to be extremely nice we have 316. we can buy anything here oh oh this is going to be amazing this is going to be amazing we've we've gotten some things started i should buy a bed you know what i'm gonna buy a bed to start with before before i don't there we go okay now i can set this out and then i can sleep through the night
