Back Side Dressing Corn, Cool Temps and Switched Tractors - June 13, 2019

hey everyone we're back it is Thursday morning here what is today June 13th I think kind of losing track of the days anyways that never rained last night it did rain up by Greenville but not down here so we're gonna continue to put on 28 today and we should be able to get this field finished looks like there's a small chance at 9 a.m. and then maybe this afternoon is the better chance not going to be very warm today I've got a long-sleeve shirt on and everything it's only supposed to be like highs 60 degrees today so anyways let's go ahead and see what we can get done here [Applause] the only problem and a half today is no cup holder I gotta have my pot of coffee every morning and I'm gonna have to hold that between my legs or something because I'm not missing out on my coffee time [Music] so we got a little rain delay but it wasn't enough to stop us just to quit it's it's only 55 degrees I had to put the sweatshirt on it's twofold solo 3 than there uncle Larry and I ran in El Dorado Rado high up besides and I had a late breakfast so off my game I in a bowl Captain Crunch for breakfast which I don't eat cereal that much but sometimes you just get that urge for Captain Crunch and of course I'm an hour later I was starving so worked out perfect ran in there got my sausage and eggs hash browns and toast it and got lots of coffee at me so I'm good to go so we're gonna go back to side dress and corn we're gonna get this field done before the next shower comes through that's the plan anyhow boy I hate to sound like a voice but 55 degrees the wind's blowing I had to get the gloves on it is cold out here anyways I'm gonna keep hammering [Music] sorry Trevor we took your brand-new toothbrush here had to use it to clean the screen on the applicator but anyways it's in the toolbox now [Music] okay so I got moved to the second field here and they were done with the kinsey planner in this tractor so now I'm side dressing with the seventy one thirty this morning they unhooked the planner pluck those off and run it down here so that ride I was probably on the road for about four miles there with the high winds and a fifty-five degrees on an open station tractor it was just quite cold I just have this sweatshirt on and so forth so it's gonna be a lot nicer in here being out of the wind and having Arabia anyways that's where we are right now it's clouding up on and off and hasn't rained yet but I know there's a pretty good chance here in the afternoon hour so we're gonna go as long as we can [Applause] [Music] so I look back and I did not have any had put pressure on the pressure gauge and then I also noticed boy everywhere at first I thought it was the nitrogen leak but the one hydraulic hose here had a pin hole on it and that was why I had low pressure looks like we got our money's worth out of that sprocket here so anyways it's creeping up on 6:00 p.m. so nobody's gonna be open to go get a new one so that's gonna have to wait till morning so I guess that's gonna do it for side dressing for today and so far we've dodged all the rain and got a little mess here anyway so I'm just gonna drive the 2950 here back to the farm and it's 55 degrees it's pretty darn cold out here so I've got the hood up but anyways all this talk about grass on the road and so forth you can see there but I just want everyone to know I am safe the grass on the road did not cause me to drive the tractor off in the ditch all right so I got home and it is now dinner time and my wife cooked up some steak potatoes and mushrooms over the grill and sweet corn and dinner rolls so somebody suggested on my last video my wife should start a cooking channel on YouTube so comment below and let me know what you think I don't think she will and of course she's camera shy again so I can't even show you the what the cook looks like in this video
