BABY GIRL NURSERY TOUR | BOHO NEUTRAL

hey y'all and welcome back to my channel um today is a pretty exciting day at least for me because i'm going to be showing you guys the finished nursery for our baby girl and uh you guys this has just been such a fun experience finishing up this nursery and i'm so excited that it's done and i'm really looking forward to showing you guys how it looks the last time i uploaded a video it was actually of me um like showing you guys like the beginning stages like and like just you know starting it off and that was legit months ago and i haven't posted anything since then but i figured it was only right to show you guys what it ended up looking like at the end um i haven't posted anything because my boys um one quiet afternoon during what was supposed to be quiet time um decided to break into my room and by breaking i mean just open the door and walk in and get my digital camera that was on my nightstand which shouldn't have been there i should have put it somewhere safe but they decided it'd be a good idea to use it and to break it i don't think their intention was to break it but they legit tore the screen off of it like completely off like there was passion in that tear like i feel like you had to really like you know try to tear that off so they definitely tore that off and ever since then it has not turned back on um i have been too lazy to go see if it can be fixed and i'm not gonna buy a new one until i find out if it can be fixed or not um so that's just why i haven't been posting anything because i've just been like i don't know just not feeling like i care enough to go get it fixed but i know that i need to um because i am currently right now filming on my phone camera i don't really know how this is gonna go i honestly don't even know if i'm looking in the right area i did not practice this beforehand so we're just going to see how it goes but yeah the last video i posted was with me starting the room now today i'm going to be showing you guys the finished product i'm honestly so freaking excited like i don't know i just absolutely love this room i'm obsessed with it uh for those of you who don't know um this is our third baby i am currently well tomorrow i'm actually going to be 33 weeks pregnant and it is our first girl i have two boys and this has just been a different experience for me like i legit thought i was gonna be boy mom for life like ride or die boy mom and then we found out we're having a girl and i was like what and i was super freaking excited and just being able to decorate and girl stuff has been such a difference for me and i absolutely love it um and for her room like the inspiration was definitely like boho inspired but also like kind of neutral but then i definitely added my own like taste to it if you will like i don't even know if that's the thing um so yeah it was definitely boho inspired but i can't say that it's boho like throughout the entire room there's things here and there that are definitely boho but i just i didn't stick to like the um it's like one specific thing and i feel like her room is more like simple there's not a whole lot going on there's like little things here and there but it's not like super cluttered and it's just not like i don't know it's it's simple and i like it it's me so yeah just a simple girl anyway um but yeah i think that's it also i just want to point out that her room does not get good natural lighting in here so i'm really hoping that this is going i'm going to like be okay like i'm hoping that it's not going to be super dark in here like i'm going to do my best to try to get like good angles and stuff but like i said i'm filming for my camera like on my phone so i don't really know how it's gonna go but i'm gonna do my best for you guys so you get that full experience of her room okay all right um but i think that's it so without further ado oh yeah by the way i'm like currently sitting in her room right now um so i think i'm just gonna like walk to the door and then we're just gonna start this um i've been doing my best to not show you much of it this is like one of the times where having a big head comes in handy because it covers a lot of surface okay yeah i'm just gonna show you it now okay [Music] all right you guys so as you can see this is the entryway to her bedroom um i was initially gonna just like leave this wall plain but then i thought like why why why would i do that so i went ahead and added a little shelf she has her cute little giraffe up there with her picture and some flowers and then you come down here and i don't know what this is called was it like a fox room like i'm not entirely sure what it's called but i thought it'd be nice to just add some like special things on here so like for starters over here uh we have a little rainbow because for those of you who don't know she is our little rainbow baby and this is actually a little wooden sign that has her first and middle name on it but since we haven't announced what her middle name is i obviously couldn't like show you guys but this is what we are going to use um at the hospital when we do like her announcement picture and then over here is a cute little dress that was actually my dress when i was a baby so yeah and then you just have like you know your little um plants and just some beads to kind of bring it all together um i actually got these beads on amazon and i thought they were super freaking cute and then i think i got these at joann's i want to say not entirely sure don't quote me on that but yeah i kind of wanted to have a little something going on over here and i just think it's really special to put like things that like are meaningful just right there like at the start of her room and then over here we have just a little plant that i got from home goods and that stand is actually also from amazon so yeah this is what the entryway to her room looks like and then you just turn on right over here and this is her crib [Music] so yeah this is her crib area and this crib was actually um one of the boys cribs and it was originally gray and all we did was spray paint it this color and i feel like it turned out really really pretty and then her name sign and you guys at first i thought i wanted like a bunch of baskets like the inspiration i was looking at it was like from like top to bottom with baskets but then once we started putting them on here i just kind of realized like that's not what i was going for i wanted something more simple so that's why we only did like a couple baskets here and a few baskets over there all right and then over here we have a little ladder which my boys thought was like an actual ladder we had to have a few conversations that it is a ladder but it's not a climbing ladder it's more of a it's a core ladder if you will so just have a few blankets on here just like a nice receiving blanket and a soft like plush blanket and then obviously you know some beads for some you know decor and then she just has like a little basket of her stuffed animals and i actually got that basket from one of my cousins um at my baby shower and it ended up being perfect for her bedroom so i really like that sorry you guys the lighting in here like i'm trying it is just so dark and then when i try to lighten it i feel like it just looks too yellow but here we have the other side of her bed so this is sort of like her like plant side if you will this is where all her plants in her room congregate um i don't really know why we decided to put all the plants over here but it kind of just worked out that way and i think it looks super cute um this little thing right here that's hanging hanging up the plant holder thing um i actually found that also on amazon i was originally just gonna use like a nail or a tuck or something and then i found that and i thought it was like absolutely perfect and it goes like really well with the border of her picture frame or not the border but it goes well with her picture frame i should say and then the basket for her plant that's actually like i love the basket look and i feel like i did a lot of basket um little things here and there throughout her room between like her wall and that and then just like a couple of other stuff that you guys are gonna see but yeah this is what her little wall area looks like by her crib and that's just her messy closet oh i really need to get in there and and organize that you guys that is a problem um but she does have a little pile of her clothes that i'm packing for her hospital bag and maybe i'll like film a video for you guys of what i'm bringing to the hospital for baby number three so yeah here's the entrance of her room with that little stuff and then it just leads right into here all right and here are her curtains i'm sorry if you guys cannot see them very well like i said it is a little dark in here um but i also got these on amazon along with everything else i feel like and i thought they were super cute because they had this little pattern on them let me try to get like in the sunlight so you guys can actually see um but yeah i thought that was super cute and it went with her room really well now these aren't like blackout curtains i wouldn't say they're more like room darkening so if you're looking for blackout i wouldn't suggest these but i thought they were super cute so i didn't care all right you guys and then we're going to go into this corner of her room and this is where her obviously her rocking chair is with some of her books and i've never had a rocking chair with either one of the boys so this is the first time you guys and i'm pretty excited about it because you normally gotta just sit on the ground or sit on the bed so we'll see if this even gets used i don't know we'll see and then i have her little books over here and i thought this little holder for the books was like super cute i think it's like a magazine holder i got it at hobby lobby i don't know we're using it for books and i thought it was perfect for her room so for her room i knew that i wanted a lamp but i didn't want one that was going to be like super big or like a statement piece or anything so i found this one and i thought it was just perfect and super cute nice and simple and originally i had um a regular light bulb in there but it just was i don't know it's just kind of like messed up like what i had going on so i found this one i think it's called like a einstein light bulb i don't know don't quote me on that and i thought after i put that one in there it actually brought everything together and it was super cute and i think it looks really good with the picture frame on here like since the picture frame is just like thin and gold i thought that looked really good together and then over here i have um her basket where her diapers are gonna go just like obviously the pee ones um i wasn't a huge fan of the like diaper genie look it just wasn't my vibe so i went with a basket and then as you can see like with this this is like also kind of like a basket theme too and that's like what i'm talking about that there's like certain things in her room that just are like baskets [Music] i'm sure all of you have seen this dresser before i feel like everybody and their mom has it um this is just the one from ikea and all that i did was change out the little handle things on it here let me see if i can get a there we go all i did was change out the little handles things on it i got these at the pools on it i should say i got these at hobby lobby and of course i had to go with the basket um theme i thought they were super freaking cute and that's because they are super cute so as you can see over here i just have a nice little changing pad for her and to go with that i have a little basket full of diapers wipes and you know butt cream i put it in this cute little basket to try to make it seem a little less um like butt cream at the end of the day but cream is butt cream no matter what you put it in so i mean it's cute though it's cute and here's her little wipe holder it's actually a wipe warmer but i don't know if i'm going to use it as that i didn't really use it as a wipe warmer with the boys i kind of just used it to hold her white hold their wipes in so i don't know we'll see but i'm absolutely in love with this basket i actually got this basket at hobby lobby but side note it did not come with this or this this is actually three different pieces like the string is its own thing and the beads are its own thing and a friend of mine actually put it all together and glued it all together to make it this really cute basket so i'm like pretty obsessed with it it looks really good so shout out to her and then the only other thing i have on her dresser is just her little hatch um this is like a nightlight and a sound machine thing in one um i don't really know exactly what it does just yet but a friend of mine told me to get it so i got it now i just have to play around with it um and then over here is just her little shelving area we have a cute little e up there for eliana elephant flower and then i saw this and i was obsessed with it for this child i have prayed y'all that could not be more freaking true and this is actually supposed to say girl but it's missing the eye we actually used this to announce that we were having a girl and then shortly afterwards i let the boys play with it and for weeks i could not find any of the letters and then here and there they started to like show themselves but i never showed back up so this is what this is what we got going on here um cute little giraffe and then over here is her mirror which is another thing that i didn't want it to be like a huge statement piece i just wanted a nice little accent um on the wall and i think it looks really good when it's like right next to these gold pieces so yeah that is her dresser and then over here we just have another basket that has some receiving blankets in it and some actual like blanket blankets in it but yeah you guys that is it that is her room my mama all right you guys that is it that was her room um i do want to apologize again that there are some parts of her room that were super dark um the filming may have been a little weird because like i said it was not on my cameras on my phone so just bear with me you guys but i did want to show you it because i don't know i was super excited about it i feel like i put a lot of hard work into it a lot of sweat a lot of tears um and yeah i just wanted to share with you guys what it looked like but yeah anyways though um i really hope you guys liked it if you did please give the video a thumbs up um and
