Baby Girl Nursery Tour + Nursery Organization 2021 | Blush + Floral

[Music] hi guys welcome back to my channel if you are new here hello my name is victoria i'm so glad to have you here today's video is going to be super super special to me because this is going to be charlotte's nursery tour if you guys are new here my name is victoria and i am currently 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby girl i am very large and in charge right now um i'm 38 and a half weeks pregnant with our first baby girl we're so excited to meet her i have less than a week left until my induction date at this point i don't know when you guys will exactly see this i'm hoping i'm putting this up before she's born but we'll see i am going to be sharing with you her nursery i've put so much time into organizing and making this nursery my husband has as well and it's just been such a labor of love and i'm so excited to bring her home and you know have her be in here and as she gets a little bit older she can play in here and things like that so i'm just really excited to share this with you guys and it's really special for me and i can't wait for you guys to see it as well i'm going to go into detail about everything that's in this nursery kind of show you how i've organized everything and um hopefully you guys like it so if you don't like in-depth videos like this then this might not be the video for you i'm going to be talking a lot and i'm also going to be out of breath probably most of the video because like i said i am 38 weeks pregnant and i am just always out of breath so anyways i'm standing in her nursery right now i'm gonna hop out to the hallway in a few seconds and show you guys her entire room go over everything if there's anything you want me to link down below let me know make sure you subscribe for more videos and let's go ahead and get into charlotte's nursery tour okay so this is what you see when you come right into the room you see a cute little boy excuse me oh no he wants to be the star of the show marvin do you want to be the star of the show sherman also wants to be the star of the show i know that they're going to come in here while i'm filming this so this is what you see when you first walk in this is like a little overview her room is pretty small sorry if i sound out of breath in this video it's because i am but this is what you see like the overview of her room when you first walk in i thought i would use natural lighting today instead of the light up on her ceiling which we have this just regular ceiling fan in here um but this is just like the overview and i'm gonna go into detail of where everything's from kind of go over everything and just show you guys every little nook and cranny of her bedroom okay i put the dogs outside of the bedroom so i could film this kind of peacefully but right when you walk in to the left this is what you see we have a little bookshelf i got this off where did i get this oh i got it at walmart and it was just super cheap like 20 bucks devin put that together for me and then this picture is hard to see because of the glare but this is more what it looks like this was from hobby lobby um i think they still have it but that's where i got that and then going down here i have a little letter board i'm going to take this to the hospital with us and i'm gonna put like her birthday and her weight and everything on there this is a little like a little bell that devin found at a thrift store and he brought that home and i thought that i would put that in here and then this is really special so this bear my grandpa actually handmade and my mom passed it down to me this is my mom's first bible which is obviously really old and then this is a nursery rhyme book that my grandma used to read to me when i was little it's called young years and it's a really special book so we just have a ton of different books on her bookshelf i'm hoping to fill it up more as you know time goes on but she has quite a few books to start out with and then that's just my suitcase because i am 38 weeks and three days pregnant when i'm filming this so i'm being induced in less than a week and i just wanted to have the bag ready just in case i go into labor so that's my hospital bag and so going over here hello this is her dresser slash changing table i wanted to get a regular dresser instead of a changing table because i didn't really like the look of a changing table like a proper changing table and i really wanted to have just a dresser that we could use after she is out of diapers and she can use this like as she grows and also we could use it anywhere in the house so this is from ikea you guys have probably seen it before i contemplated changing out the knobs on this but i decided not to because i kind of liked the simplicity of the black knobs but you could always change the knobs out a lot of people diy this dresser all the time i'll link it down below um but yeah so on top of the dresser we have this bumbo changing pad which you guys might have seen in my baby shower haul this is the changing pad that i really wanted because it is like a soft like a wipeable surface and i really wanted that instead of the one with the cover on it and then this mirror is from hobby lobby i'm obsessed with it i think it's so cute we got it when like the wall decor was like 50 off same with this we got that when it was half off as well so i really like this mirror i thought it would be cute to take pictures with her in it um you can't really see my belly in this shot but oh there you go um so yeah that's where that's from and then coming over this way i just have different lotions that we were gifted set out um next to her changing pad and then this is a little bow holder that my cousin got me at my baby shower i think it's really pretty it's like a wooden stand and then it has this like fabric floral print on it you guys know i love floral so i just put some of her really cute bows on it and then these shelves are also from hobby lobby i got most of the stuff on the walls from hobby lobby just because that's where i wanted to get them from and i went when it was like 50 off so i thought these shelves were perfect because i liked the wooden like the wooden look and i feel like it goes well with that mirror and then the scalloped edges just make it seem kind of feminine i don't know i thought they were really cute so on here this is actually from my bridal shower um these were like the center pieces at my bridal shower that my mom made and then the we are so blessed sign devin actually got for me for christmas so i put it in here and then you guys and i collect willow trees so this was a willow tree that was gifted to us and it's like the parent one with their baby and then up here i got that wooden sea from hobby lobby as well and there's another little willow tree and she's holding a little heart i just decided to put her in here and then this plant is from ikea so the jar and the plant itself is from ikea i don't know what made me want to do that but i think it looks really cute i think it looks good there so this area right here kind of seems a little bit cluttered to me i don't really want to leave all those lotions out but i'll figure out somewhere else to put them later but yeah and then right here is just my baby monitor if you guys are curious we have the vava baby monitor which so far i mean we haven't used it yet but um we like it and it's pretty easy to use and the most important thing is it does not run on wi-fi so that is what we wanted i'm gonna go through everything else first and then i will come back and show you what's in the drawers so moving over this way we have our diaper genie i'm sure that some of you are thinking like oh we won't use that we won't like it well i really wanted it and it's something that i really wanted to try so i thought it would be nice to have if we don't end up using it whatever but i just thought it would be good to have in here so i have that in here and then this little bin is not gonna stay here i want to get a different basket that matches the room better but in that bin are special blankets so handmade blankets it looks like that's the only one in there but there's actually several blankets in there from my baby blankets stevens baby blankets handmade ones for her so i wanted to have those right there next to our rocking chair and then we have these really pretty blush colored curtains um i got those at t.j.maxx and the curtain rods are just black and they're from walmart but i like them because they're black out but it doesn't totally black out the room but it makes it pretty dark so i'm happy with it and then this recliner is a recliner and a rocker and we actually got it from someone that follows me on instagram which was really nice um i posted about us looking for a rocking chair for her bedroom but i wanted something like this where it looks more like a recliner um and reclines so this girl happened to be selling it they were moving here from a different state and we were able to meet at an ikea and i was able to purchase it from her so i'm really happy it was like brand new condition so it's super comfy um like i said it reclines and it rocks it doesn't swivel but that's okay and then on it this little pillow is from ikea which actually is a chair cushion but i thought it was really cute so that's what i got to put on the chair and then this blanket was handmade um by my cousin and i love it so obviously the theme in here is kind of like a neutral with blush and floral that's kind of the theme i was going for i wasn't really going for a specific theme per se but i do love the colors blush and i love the floral print um so i thought i would incorporate that with like the more neutral style so that's what i did and then coming over here is where her crib is i know that nothing is gonna go in there when she's in there this is just what i have in here at the moment because she's not going to sleep in her crib right away she's actually going to be in her halo bassinet in our room this crib we got off of facebook marketplace for 50 bucks it's not a convertible crib or anything nothing fancy but this is what i wanted for now i think when she gets to be a toddler which sounds so crazy like i can't believe i'm talking about that but when she gets to be a toddler i want to do one of those floor beds the really cute ones so i wasn't really worried about um getting a convertible crib so this is what we got the mattress we did get new devin's mom gifted that to us it's from target um if there's any specific links you want to anything let me know but this mattress is kind of cool because the side that it's on right now i just realized there's a toy under the bed the side that it's on right now is for infants so it's firmer or is that a word it's more firm and then if you flip it it's a little bit softer for toddlers so anyways enough talk about the crib we have a boppy lounger which matches her sheet perfectly right now my grandma got us this and i'm really excited to use it i went back and forth between getting this or the dockatot or the snuggle me organic i decided to get this one because it's much much much cheaper i think this one was like 32 on amazon and i'm not using it for sleep anyway i'm just using it for her to lounge in um and have an option for her to sit in this like while i am taking a shower or in the kitchen she can sit on the floor in it whatever so i don't have to just like lay her on the floor so that's what i got that for i have a boppy breastfeeding pillow that i'm going to take to the hospital this is her hospital bag it's just her diaper bag which i love i'm gonna do a what's in my diaper bag video this is from 12 little i'm going to be working with them on that video actually um so i won't go too much into that but it's a really cute backpack diaper bag and it just has some stuff in there for her um nothing crazy because she doesn't need a whole lot for the hospital but it just has some clothes and little things in there and then this you guys i got at target the other day it is a golden doodle lovey blanket i seriously almost bought all of them because it keeps sliding sorry i seriously almost bought all of them because if she likes this i don't ever want to run out of them because they look like her brothers so i thought that was just too cute not to get so i had to get it and then this sign above her crib is the lanai lay me down to sleep prayer which i used to say my mom used to say that prayer with me when i was little before bed so i thought that was really cute i also got that when it was half off at hobby lobby and then this is the baby monitor it's all hooked up i do plan on once she's like mobile covering this cord so she can't rip it out of the wall don't worry but for now it's fine and then this picture frame you guys may have remembered the picture from my baby shower haul but this was gifted to us also at our baby shower this print and it says charlotte faye my cousin did tell me it's from etsy so but she had it printed at like walgreens or something like she got the digital edit and then she printed it so it just has a c with the floral and it says charlotte faye which is her name of course this little really simple frame i got a hobby lobby when everything was half off and literally it was seven dollars so it's just like a really simple this is glass but the side is just black and you almost can't even see like the edge of the frame i really liked it i just wanted it mainly to be about the picture and not the frame so i got that i think it looks really pretty so that's that and then down here on the floor the boys are really interested in this basket this is a basket that someone gave me part of their gift in at my baby shower um i don't plan on leaving this basket here i don't necessarily think it goes with her room perfectly but for now i'll leave it there and what's in here are just like a bunch of little stuffed animals little lovey blankets um things for her car seat little books stuff like that this little tag blanket is really cute that my grandma got her and that's what's under there is one of these toys i accidentally threw it under the crib so i have to get that later and then over here is her closet the closets in this house are so tall which is very unfortunate for me because i'm really short i wish they were wider instead of taller or like i wish they were deeper but anyways i'll go into her closet real quick and just show you kind of briefly what's in here how i organized it this is not like a pinterest organization closet by any means but um [Music] what we did was we left here most of the wipes that we got from the shower and just gifted to us and whatever and then we left some diapers so we put a lot of the diapers downstairs in the basement because this was a disaster and we just put like the bigger size diapers downstairs we thought that would be easier and then when we need them we can bring them up but um yeah i also have like these are for me these always discreet underwear things and then this um pack of pads those are for me postpartum but i just decided to leave them in there and then this little hanging organizer thing is from ikea and it has a really cute little print on it um it wasn't very expensive at all and in here i just have some like portable changing pads these are newborn and size 1 diapers um these are all of her towels and washcloths i have some what do you call these they're like they're like diaper inserts but i'm going to use them for like burp cloths and then there's more burp cloths these copper pearl ones are so plush and like soft and thick i think they'll be really nice and then i have more hooded towels down here and then those are just some hangers like i said diapers and wipes right there is her little whale thing for when she takes a bath and then the little angel care bathtub and then i'll go over there in a second but that's her little hamper i also showed that in my baby shower haul and then up here these gray and pink bins i got at the dollar tree so i got i think four of them and they were only a dollar a piece so in there i have kind of randomness there's like blankets up there there's random things i didn't know where else to put in one of the bins um there's fitted sheets stuff like that nothing super exciting and then i just have some other random things i have my breast pumps if you're wondering why i have two one was for my insurance and one was from my sister-in-law that did not use hers so i just have two um and then that up there is her little flower bath thing that you put in the sink and then that is a little like a mat for her to do tummy time on and stuff and then i have some baby memory books and things like that up there so i'm gonna go to the oh my gosh these doors are really heavy and sometimes they get stuck i'm gonna go to the other side of this closet now same with over here like i said there's this laundry hamper from tj maxx it's redone this is the last little bit of laundry that i need to do for her because we've just been getting some like last minute gifts and things here and there so i'm kind of waiting to gather a load and then i'll do that load if you're wondering why these are all the clothes that i have hung why they're so little it's because i'm only hanging like nicer outfits i'm gonna do that in quotes nicer outfits like little dresses um jackets little outfits things like that that i didn't want to fold up and i only have zero to three months in here because i didn't want to overwhelm myself i only washed her 0-3 month clothing i know that doesn't seem like a lot but it was a ton of stuff so i'll worry about the other stuff later when she grows out of it so this is zero to three month and then three-month clothing i think i have a few like three to six in here but not really it depended on what it looked like but um i have more little hangers and then like those bins like i mentioned and then up here i have her humidifier this right here is like a cover for her car seat for when it's really cold out we probably won't need it until the winter time and she may be out of an infant car seat by then so we'll see but it's nice to have just in case the weather here in ohio has been kind of unpredictable so right there is another mattress protector and that is a portable little two in one like um high chair cover and shopping cart cover so we won't need that for a while but that's that for her closet and then i'm just gonna close this so yeah that's basically it her room that didn't take very long i feel like to talk about so now i'm gonna go into her dresser drawers and kind of show you guys what's in here it's not perfectly organized but i did my best so i'll start over here on the left um this is gonna be her little diaper drawer i do have actually i'll have to show you guys some time not in this video but i did get like a little rolling cart that i set up in our bedroom with all of the things that i'll need at night time so i don't have to leave the bedroom um diapers wipes things like that so this will be like when i change her in here so i just have these are all newborn size diapers and size one i think i did like half and half so i have some wipes her little thermometer i think behind there i have her nail file that you can't see and then this little bin is from the dollar tree and i just have like i thought this was actually kind of cool i know this brand the boogie wipes but they have a boogie mist and it's like a saline spray that you put in their nose um anyways there's little diaper bags um like butt cream all kinds of butt cream and there's gripe water in there too and so that's all that's in there it's just diaper stuff and then in this drawer i have these little organizers they're all from ikea um i got two big packs of them there was like an assortment in each one so in here i have all her passies i've sterilized everything and in here are her little teethers um which she won't need for a while but also at the bottom of this one is past eclipse and then in here she has an ungodly amount of headbands and bows and then a huge huge stack of hats which i doubt she'll wear those hats very much but she does have some really cute ones so i'll have to take some pictures in them and then in this drawer i have all of her bibs again she has a ton of bibs these are little like bloomers and then this whole basket is socks i know she will not wear all these socks trust me but i just happen to have a lot of them back here are some little fox slippers they're so cute um but yeah and again these bins are from the dollar tree this drawer i believe is like a junk drawer right now um this bin is kind of empty for now that's an extra cover from amazon for my bobby lounger and then i just have some like paperwork stuff in here for my wrap and for the what do you call it baby monitor coming down to this drawer these organizers are also from ikea i just rolled up all of her onesies these are all sleepers so oop hello there's my belly these are all sleepers um i just kind of rolled them up these are newborn and then size zero to three months so those are just all her sleepers and then over in this one i kind of wish i had separated things by newborn and size zero to three because i don't have a ton of a ton of newborn stuff and just in case she's in newborn i don't know if she will be she has a larger baby so i don't know if she'll even fit a newborn at all but we'll see i feel like she'll at least wear a newborn for like a period of time even if it's just like a week but i wish i would have separated that from the zero to three because i don't know what's newborn and what's not so i'll have to search for that later but i have little pants in here this one is i believe like um short sleeve onesies and then these are more short sleeve one onesies these are long sleeve onesies and then back there i have even more onesies i think these ones are like ones with like not the footies in them um oh wait sorry these are all onesies these are the like um onesies that have legs so if that makes sense so that's what's in there and then down here let me squat down here in here i have all of her swaddles in here i have some swaddle me swaddles i have halo sacks i have some other this one is not i don't know what this one is but it's just like another kind of sleep sack i have a few halo swaddles too um different kinds of halo swaddles so i have those these are all muslin blankets so i have quite a few of them which i'm really happy about because i know i can use these for a lot of different things and she's also going to be born when it's warm out so i think they'll be good for summertime because she won't be super hot in them and then i have one more drawer down here this is a another kind of like miscellaneous drawer um i have some random extra little like diaper bag insert things some bottle cleaning stuff which i won't need right this second so i'm not worried about it some like extra nipple butter this is the box to my baby wrap we've got some hakkas over here some breast pads um her drying rack a brush some nose fritters a lot of different stuff so that's what's in that drawer so i really hope that me being out of breath is not super annoying in this video i'm really sorry if it is i also don't know why this is blurry there we
