Austin - Food Truck Challenge #LostandHungry

hi Thank You Jamie for opening the door yeah cheers mate a pint of ignorance we'll have fun well thanks what a week in Austin we have had Austin is probably the coolest place we've been to yet yeah it's been pretty awesome we've eaten Jamie's body weight in barbecue but also we've experienced some incredible food in food trucks which is a massive thing here and we will set the challenge to go around the world in one day through food trucks first up biscuits and groovy for our first taste of real American biscuits and gravy yeah which these are different biscuits from the ones now we 17 different gravy they pretty Paula post-dinner are this meal wasn't it was different would you recommend our two good sellers for the glory and the Johnny where is everything we have potatoes and the Johnny is the only one baseball biscuit that is more of a cross between a scum and a dumpling it's as light as dumpling but with a nice crispy edge of a Scott this is what's considered a traditional biscuits and gravy topped with pork sausage chives and the gravy which is basically a roux with Dalek and pepper that is a solid start to the day that's one of those things that you know you eat and everything just tastes like it makes sense absolutely love that I would have that again and again and again and again and next up we went to mr. yes el primo where we had a traditional Mexican breakfast taco that everyone talks about and it was banging I've been looking forward to having a breakfast taco ever since I drove into Texas and everyone on Twitter and in Texas said that I need a a breakfast taco so this is me eating a breakfast taco mic is eating migas taco breakfast taco so it's scrambled egg cheese onion tomato jalapeno cilantro and it's all scrambled into one taco so it's a little bit of everything for breakfast after that will feeling slowly homesick yeah and so we went back to the UK we did well we stayed in Austin but through the medium of food truck egde we went to Bundrick which serve traditional afternoon tea you this is it this is the dream my backgrounds in film I'm a costume signer and I've always loved vintage clothes in vintage fashion and I just think there's something so elegant about you know afternoon tea art of tea and the performance of putting it on and just think it's amazing Faye's then to the north america went to Maine yet for duck and roll rougher lobster rolls it was amazing they we tried lots of different ones we tried their famous truth sauce because it was so spicy the question is can you handle the truth Barry couldn't handle it so to give you a quick overview of what we are serving this is the ninja roll this is like our asian-inspired one that has a little bit of an Asian slaw to it it's topped with the cilantro on there and then this one is our our big guy the real BLT with the tomato and chicken-fried bacon in there so to go over the habanero hot sauce we call it the truth you know can you handle the truth in one third place at our local Austin hot sauce festival it's with roasted jalapeño cheese me roasted habanero some roasted garlic in there it's definitely packs a punch it's not it's not mild so people really tend to gravitate it here in Texas they love the spiciness whoa it's spicy man I've been through I can handle him really well Oh after that one place to be had to go to because you guys kept recommending it which is the king of kimchi yep to lambtron affair kimchi fries were legendary though you blew my mind and they were telling us that these were really popular with people who had been out and consuming alcoholic beverages and got the craving for these kimchi fries and they just take him up from there that was Korea ticked off the list and we then went to Morocco well we now with Marie and Abdul where we actually tasted well know this sounds really bad the big update the dish is the big Abdul pretty much is a hamburger meat with the wishes capture we call honor in Morocco season with Moroccan spices like human salt black pepper onions and cilantro parsley the fry eggs I did olive oil salt black pepper cumin and eggplant we grill without oil or anything which is griller french fries is Moroccan style I mean anywhere you go in Morocco the first things Morocco is french fries the tomato sauce like what I said is my grandmother recipes I love that tomato sauce tsk are totally finished you could see their pressure in their face like oh my god that's good I love that food like oh okay good I'm happy if ready day yeah James so that was just one of the days that the why can't we have burger Fester's surely we must have burger festival someone don't like 50,000 people turning up to taste different burgers if you love burgers check out our video because it will
