Attic Vent Turbine Repair

all right so these turbine vents are rattling in the way or not spinning at all because this top part has busted out right so the bearing's broken free i can't get them all the way off like this well i guess i can on this one but uh this is where they spin on there's a bearing at the bottom and a bearing at the top i went ahead and bought the whole assembly because that's what i can get locally you can order kits but uh this is what i can get my hands on quick right so it's really easy you just have three fasteners use a nut driver bit see this one's even missing and take it off it's as easy as that the new kit comes with the same deal on the inside so it's really just a swap piece for piece that slips right on if you can this particular one's a 14 inch and really i just i end up throwing the rest of the kid away putting in the recycling and that all right so that one's more bored out over size so i'm gonna have to go get a bigger screw and fix that up real quick stripped out [Music] all right it's already spinning so i found something a little bit bigger in my nuts and bolts junk drawer yeah and unfortunately i only had a slotted head screw that was bigger so i'll just use the screwdriver snug that up tight [Applause] right on [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you
