hey guys hope you're doing well what if i tell you that you can immigrate to canada without any work experience at all directly as a fresher with an ielts score as low as clb4 and clb5 and even without the need for any proof of funds you won't even need to create an express entry profile there's no age limit and even low skilled candidates working in noc c skill levels can apply for their canadian permanent residence so that's great too the program that i'm talking about is the atlantic immigration program or the aip which is an economic immigration program introduced to cater to the many job positions available in the four atlantic provinces of canada earlier this was a temporary program called the atlantic immigration pilot program or the aipp which closed on december 31st 2021 with the expiration of the pilot bilateral agreements the ministerial instructions expired on march 5th 2022 and ircc has instead started accepting pr applications under a new program after that called the atlantic immigration program or the aip as of march 6 2022. in this video i'm going to tell you all the details about the atlantic immigration program what provinces come under this program who can apply for their pr using this program the documents required general eligibility criteria and how you can get a temporary work permit or your permanent residence using the atlantic immigration program so do watch the video till the end hey guys this is jason from dream canada if you're new to this channel i show people how to save their money and immigrate to new countries through my videos without the help of any immigration consultants or agents or lawyers you can find all the process instructions for you to apply on your own through this channel subscribe now because all the information provided here is completely free and answer all your queries in the comments section and on my social handles on instagram and twitter so don't forget to follow us there as well let me first tell you what the atlantic immigration program actually is the atlantic immigration program is an employer-driven economic immigration program for four participating atlantic provinces which are new brunswick nova scotia prince edward island and newfoundland and labrador employee driven immigration programs like these are basically created to help employers from such provinces hire qualified candidates for jobs that they haven't been able to fill locally the processing time is just 12 months and the application fee is 1325 canadian dollars which includes your right of permanent residence fee which is 500 now let me tell you who can apply through this program to apply for this program you don't necessarily have to be in canada you can apply from anywhere in the world skilled foreign workers and international graduates are the ones who can apply for this program for skilled workers your work experience can be from anywhere in the world and for international graduates you must have a degree diploma certificate or trade or apprenticeship certification that was at least two years in duration from a recognized post-secondary institution in any one of the four atlantic provinces that's new brunswick nova scotia prince edward island or newfoundland and labrador now we come to the requirements or eligibility criteria for the atlantic immigration program the first and most important requirement is work experience if you are an international graduate you don't have to have any work experience at all you can apply for your permanent residence directly as a fresh graduate you must have a degree diploma certificate or trade certification that was at least two years in duration and it must have been from a recognized post-secondary institution in any one of the four atlantic provinces you can get a list of these designated institutions on the ircc website you must also have lived in one of the four atlantic provinces for at least 16 months before you graduated last but not the least you must have had the visa or work permit you needed to work study or get training while you were in canada for a study duration so if your main motive is to just get your pr as soon as you complete your studies and you'll see later whether you want to take up a job or if you want to start a business or anything in canada then this program is perfect for you skilled workers you must have had at least one year of work experience which is around 1 560 hours spread out at around 30 hours per week your work experience can be counted for both part-time and full-time positions you can count only paid hours of work volunteering or unpaid internships are not considered you can't count the hours when you were self-employed your work experience can be counted from jobs in canada or from your home country as well or anywhere in the world outside canada if you worked in canada you must have been legally authorized to work in canada as a temporary resident which means that you must have had a valid work permit for that period if you can't work experience when you were studying the working hours should not have exceeded what was authorized for a student which is up to 20 hours in a week coming to education if you have a job offer an noc 0 or a skill type or level you must have a canadian one-year post-secondary education credential or hire or an eca if you completed the equivalence study course outside canada if you have a job offer in noc b or c skill type or level you must have a canadian high school diploma or an eca if you've completed the equivalent study outside canada you can get your eca from wes or any other designated education credential service i've explained how you can do this online in a detailed video linked in the description box comment your language test requirements for noc 0 a and b you need at least clb or nclc5 in your english or french language test and for nocc you need at least clb or nclc4 in your english or french language test accepted test formats are the ielts or selfie for english and tcf or tef for french regarding settlement funds or proof of funds you won't be needing this if you're already living and working in canada with a valid work permit so that's great news if you're able to secure a job offer right after a study course as an international student or even from your home country if you're applying as a skilled worker now if you don't have a job offer in hand for instance as an international student who's just graduated you don't have to worry as the proof of funds amounts otherwise required for the atlantic immigration program are much lesser compared to other pnps and especially the express entry program as you can see you'll need just around 3 300 canadian dollars if you're applying a loan around 4100 if you're applying with a spouse and around 5000 if you're applying with a child as a comparison the express entry proof of funds required starts at more than 13 000 canadian dollars for a single person so this program is much more affordable next you need a job offer from a designated employer picked by the four provinces the good news is that a list of designated employers has been made readily available for you on the atlantic immigration website so you can pick the province of your choice and search for a job directly on the province's website which ensures that your job offers will be authentic you can even filter job searches by cities and choose a job position that best suits your profile and all the details about the job such as job duties your pay scale qualifications needed and a direct application form will be made readily available to you you can directly enter in your details upload your cv and apply for all the job positions applicable to you your job offer must be for a full time position meaning you will work for at least 30 paid hours per week the job offer must be non-seasonal this means that you must have consistent and regularly scheduled paid employment throughout the year for noc-0a or b skill type or level job offers your job must be for a duration of at least one year for nocc skill level job offers your employer must be offering you permanent employment that is there should not be any set end date the job offer can't come from a company where you or your spouse is a majority owner and lastly the job offer must be at the same skill level as or higher than the work experience that qualified you for the job make sure that you ask for a copy of the employer's confirmation of designation or tell them about the authentic immigration program and ask them to consider becoming designated if they aren't already you'll also need a settlement plan a settlement plan basically provides you with useful resources and contacts to help you feel welcome in your new community after you land in your atlantic province it'll help you and your family adjust your new home in atlantic canada and is completely free of cost if you're already in canada or even if you're applying from outside canada you can find your settlement plan for free directly from the atlantic immigration website which provides a list of settlement organizations you can reach out to in canada or even the ones in your home country once you have your settlement plan give a copy to your employer and keep a copy for yourself if you're not in canada bring a copy with you when you move to canada next you'll now need to get a certificate of endorsement for the job offer you receive the province you intend to move to must endorse your job offer your employer will handle this process for you so you don't have to worry about it but do remember that you won't be able to submit your permanent residence application without this certificate of endorsement now that you know all your requirements you'll have the choice of either applying for a work permit for a period of one year and you can fly to atlantic province instantly or you can choose to apply for permanent residence if you choose to apply for a work permit you can work while your permanent residence application is being processed however to remember that you must send your permanent residence application within 90 days of submitting your temporary work permit application let me tell you how you can apply for your permanent residence which is what most people opt for the first step is to gather all your documents to send along you can have a look at the documents checklist imm0155 made available for the atlantic immigration program so that you don't miss out on anything if your documents are not in english or french you need to submit an english or french translation an effort of it from the person who's completed the translation and a certified copy of the original document the next step is to fill out your application on the atlantic immigration program application page you'll get a list of forms along with your documents checklist like a generic application form triple zero eight the atlantic immigration program application form a form for your family details and other declarations and forms for you to fill there's also a detailed step-by-step guide to help you fill out these forms and you have to fill all of these forms online once your atlantic immigration program application form has been filled click on the validate button located at the top or bottom of your form this will generate a barcode page or pages next print all the pages of your application form signed with a handwritten signature where mentioned and enter in the date in the spaces provided place the barcode page or pages on the top of your application forms and supporting documents when you submit it the next step would be to pay your fees your total fee amount would be 1 325 canadian dollars out of which 825 is your processing fee and 500 is your right of permanent residence fee if you want to include your spouse for permanent residence you'll have to pay another 825 and 225 dollars for a child the entire payment will be done online and you will have to print the ircc official receipt with a barcode make sure that you print two copies one to be attached with your application and want to keep for your records now that you've filled all your forms and got your fee receipts and barcode pages you have to mail this entire application package to ircc remember to place the barcode page or pages on the top of your application forms and supporting documents when you're making your application package put the completed forms supporting documents and the fee payment receipt in a 9 by 12 inch envelope send your completed application package to this address if you're sending it via regular mail [Music] or this address if you're sending it by courier if your application is complete ircc will notify you that they've received application your application will undergo a detailed review by an ircc officer the officer will consider all the information and documentation that you've provided if your application is successful you and your family members will become permanent residents of canada all right guys so that was all about the atlantic immigration program for more immigration and travel tips subscribe to this channel now do like this video if you like the content
