AssiStep is a stair assistant, designed for people who wants to use their whole home independently It consists of a handrail that is installed along the staircase, coupled to a handle providing support when walking up or down. When ascending the stairs, you simply push the handle in front of you. Once you pull it downwards, it locks. You can easily fold the handle by pressing the  orange button. On your way down, lift the handle slightly up in order to move forward. When force is applied, or even if you drop the handle - It locks in place, for your safety. This way you can easily use your stairs, on your own.
