Ashens Halloween Special 2016

[Music] that's nearly Halloween again that time of the year where the Dark Lord Satan punches through from the void of eternal agony in order to design another range of Funko pop figurines but for us it means we bugger off to pound land and pound world and buy some stuff and point at it in laugh and let us begin by decorating the sofa with something suitably Halloweeny how about a solar wobbler solar wobbler sounds like somebody throwing a fit to temper doesn't it oh god you spilled it everywhere mum's Grover right solar wobbler yes it's from our friends at Fright Night which is one of pound lands many many internal makes collect them all no that is definitely not going to happen so there are various designs an offer I went for car crash victim with a spider on him because you know I thought nothing says Halloween like that really I don't know what he's doing shimmying there may be some sort of spinal therapy warning this is a Halloween decoration and not a toy they're actually a capitalized Halloween decoration I have no idea why please come out of reach of children choking hazard due to small parts Wow I'm interested warning keep away from fire and extreme sources of heat bugger I was gonna store it in a volcano well I'll have to go in the bin now well let's have a see how this works and probably not very well because there's gonna be anywhere near enough light in here to set this thing off also there appear to be some sort of mark or crumb on it free biscuit crumb with every solder wobbler now I think we're just gonna have to pretend really yummy so if there was a little bit electricity it would go meet me meet me meet me meet me meet me are we having fun yet I'd like to point out the eyes look like LEDs but they're not what a load of old pups well it's a bit of an odd design choice really because they need a lot of light to move these things cuz you know cheap solar panels and all that and of course you're only really gonna have these out in the dark oh well off you go over there I hope you feel better soon next up it's a stretchy zombie mask I bought this because I've always wanted to look like a stretchy zombie just pull over your head first sprint key fun I gotta say that's genuinely quite frightening actually well that's sort of weird did I look to it charming oh my my my you don't believe it I just saw Jason in full of guys news old homes of Amanda oh I'm sure that's why saying morning plastic bags can be dangerous gray right just pull over your head for spooky fun fair enough right so I'm guessing into some sort of gauzy material which you can't really see through but equally will not suffocate you like a dead man when you put it on oh it's 70 percent spandex 30% polyester do not wash wipe clean only well 70 percent spandex 30 percent polyester that sounds like something superheroes and cost you to be made out right right we can let's see what it looks like out of the packet there is actually the same design as the front so that's good but looking considerably less spooky hmm and still a bit [ __ ] cgi frankly which has got that going on there but such is life um it's just like a sock for your head what does it look like on men good afternoon I'm a partially reanimated corpse and I'm hoping I can count on your vote in the upcoming by-election well that's taught us the true definition of fear right time for some more stuff to stick on the sofa to make it look spooky how about a large inflatable bat is it just me or is that quite obviously cat's face and not that see what you've done there guys you got your mammals mixed up and yeah that really is the face on it mmm well there's only one way to find out how [ __ ] this looks when inflated and that's to inflate it well wasn't worth the amount of effort blowing it up frankly and yeah it just looks like a really derpy cat I wonder if that's a logo that you would shine up in the sky if you wanted to summon both Batman and Catwoman simultaneously hmm worth a thought no wait it's a waste of thought I apologize to everybody right time for something more traditionally Halloween I mean whenever we think of Halloween we do think of a chocolate which don't we isn't that the first thing that springs to mind there she is looking which ii and chocolatey with her amazing very pointed hat there's something about this I can't quite put my finger on hang on get that recognition shot and years have come in handy one day hang on a minute yes quite clearly what our good friends at pan head have done is got a generic chocolate rabbits from Easter and stuck some fairly unimpressive witch flavored foil on it look she's got a potato waffle and she's stirring some soup and she looks quite annoyed probably she's quite clearly a rabbit but he has got a worm in a hat so you know well hat is that supposed to be a hat is supposed to be a hair problem is with the bunny ears thing going on I've got no idea on the back they haven't bothered decorating they just put loads of words showing that it's a cheap German chocolate cause that's generally what you get from Poundland two halves or half decent low-grade German chocolate still quite nice but not amazing so who thinks we're gonna open this up and this case actually gonna have a rabbit's face on it well I can tell you actually that it isn't because big Clive already did a bloody video on this time went and watched it and spoil it for myself anyway let's peel the witch again not phrase I thought I'd ever the uttering and look at that the witch is abroad with no sign of black Philip that bloody evil goat yeah it's yeah so they've obviously just made these as generic as possible probably gonna get snowmen with rabbit ears Valentines man with wrapper tea is made of chocolate I don't know we're a bit try B I suppose um have that little bit there Oh mark Oh hmm yes all right pie man chopped is never bad but it's not amazing has that sort of slightly greasy texture achieve chocolate sometimes have but it's a lot better than things like when you go around your grandma's house and she's got chocolate footballs hanging off the Christmas tree and they taste like sub has been found on somebody's shoe you know best before date on this good god ninth of the ninth 2018 there can be doing the rounds for a while I suppose they yeah I suppose they do that so for years to come you will see these at every single holiday slightly altered Foyle design-wise mother's I had something even more obviously not Halloween or bloody lost it which is incredibly frustrating but it was a small bag full of black and green bouncy balls you know there's rubber bouncy balls and it said Halloween bouncy balls on it what how is that Halloween lads you've literally just got two colours of bouncy ball and put them in a bag that's got nothing to do with Halloween whatsoever unlike of course that classic Halloween crackers because apparently Halloween is no longer allowed to be its own thing and now just has to have Christmas and Easter cast offs what can we get inside our Halloween crackers then creepy fingers finger puppets that that's not a finger puppet it's just like a weird finger with blood in it yeah anything not finger related spider ring spider ring does whatever a spider ring cam a scorpion and the winds of change no it's slithering snake Oh kind of wish I'd look to the back has given it away now right let's open it up I hope they've got a Halloween joke in like do you know what I don't want to think about it trick-or-treat I'll bet this is technically neither okay what's the snap like bit shite I think the cardboard ripping was allowed us to be honest with you oh good I've got my Halloween paper hat which I'm assuming is well yeah is literally just a [ __ ] paper hat I suppose they're all green you know may have really low causes this feels like paper from a sort of early eighties recycled notebook or something oh this feels nothing like your normal Oh your normal paper hat and apparently rips incredibly easily slithering snake not Reiss littering it's just slightly rubbery can you see its face probably not it can zoom in that site there we are oh there's nothing interesting on it at all that was a waste of time go on Halloween joke for everyone why a ghost so bad at lying because you can see right through them oh yeah I feel sick and it's not the chocolate right let's quickly run through these another one no I didn't even explode right doesn't even got snap in it I don't think it has what's going on ah well that's good in there cracker without a snap in it brilliant ten points everybody I'll go excite them as a snap of the other one shitty green hat yeah that's a radscorpion there for any fallout fans in the audience or slightly shitty rubbery one but hey better than some Christmas crackers I suppose joke time what do you call a witch who lives at the beach a sandwich whoo-hoo oh my god I quite like that a weird way whoo-hoo-hoo I'm
