Ascend Corporate Prayer - September 25th, 2021

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] good morning to the perfecting church online and good morning to those who have faithfully gathered with us in the sanctuary this is the day that the lord has made and i will rejoice and i i will be glad in it i don't know about you but there is a sense of expectation in the house today there there's a there's a certain excitement there's a buzz in the sanctuary today and i pray that that is uh being translated and transmitted online wherever you are joining us from you are welcome you're welcome for those of you who participated with us in the fast we on the last hour y'all the last leg i pray it's been good to you and it's been good for you that you are hearing from god that your expectation is up and that you are ready to allow the king of glory to enter in our reading this morning is out of psalm 24 from the passion translation it says yahweh claims the world as his everything and everyone belonged to him he's the one who pushed back the oceans to let the dry ground appear planting firm foundations for the earth who then is allowed to ascend the mountain of yahweh and who has the privilege of entering into god's holy place those who are clean whose works and ways are pure whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth those who never deceive whose words are sure they will receive yahweh's blessing and righteousness given by the savior god they will stand before god for they seek the pleasure of god's face the god of jacob so wake up you living gateways lift up your heads you doorways of eternity welcome the king of glory for he is about to come through you you ask who is this king of glory yahweh armed and ready for battle yahweh invincible in every way so wake up you living gateways and rejoice wide you eternal doors here comes the king of glory ready to come in you ask who is this king of glory he is yahweh armed and ready for battle the mighty one the invincible commander of heaven's host he is the king of glory the genesis of this fast was the acknowledgement that there are things we're up against things that um are coming at us things that we are surrounded by that human wisdom and knowledge is incapable of resolving that there are some hard things and some heavy things that require supernatural intervention in 2021 we are called to collaborate with god and part of our collaboration in prayer and fasting was for us to turn away from our plates and turn away from some distractions and turn away from our routines so that as the psalmist exhorts we could lift up our heads as the eternal gates and invite the king of glory to come in it says it again in isaiah 60 it says arise from the conditions that had you bound and prostrate for the glory of the lord is risen upon you and shall be seen upon you but if we keep our heads bowed down if we keep our posture bent over then we will not make room to receive yahweh the invincible commander of heaven's armies who listen is not just ready to come through us but to come through for us to come through in us to come through on our behalf as we enter into the final lap the final quarter the final stretch of the year of collaboration i don't know about you but i am believing for what i has not seen and what ear has not heard and what has not yet entered into the heart of man i want exceedingly abundantly above all i could ask think or imagine i need the miracle signs and wonders cause just regular and just routine just won't do so today as we enter into the last hour of the fast prepare ourselves for the final quarter of 2021 the year of collaboration we want to invite the king of glory to come in we want to make room for him we want to prepare our hearts to be in a place of rest so that he who promised rest can freely rest rule reign and abide upon within among and through us in jesus name [Music] [Music] would you reign in our hallelujah gently rest upon my heart [Music] gently rest upon [Music] looking with great expectation for a move from god a mighty move from god and the lord dropped this word he said this is how it reads in joshua 10. it says on the day the lord gave the amorites over to israel joshua said to the lord in the presence of israel son stand still over gibeon and you moon over the valley of ajilan so the sun stood still and the moon stopped till the nation avenged itself on its enemies as it is written in the book of jashar the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day there has never been a day like it before or since a day when the lord listen to what i'm saying a day when the lord listened to a human being surely the lord was fighting for israel and so we're looking for miracles signs wonders and god listens to us he hears us and it is only because we don't ask with the assurance that joshua did that god would do this thing for us so what is the thing that we need done ask yourself god what is the sun stopping moment that i need what is the what is the i need all day i need a day to go on and on and on so i can defeat this enemy what is it that you're asking him for that you have been asking in an anemic way god is saying today i break rules for my people i break rules for my people that does not apply to me amen that does not that applies to you that statistic applies to you that does not apply to me father we thank you father we thank you father we thank you you alone are god you are all powerful you are the god that gets things done and so god we pray now for all those things that have been withheld all those things god that we've prayed about in a way that has no power god forgive us forgive us and now god we pray with power god and we ask now that you would heal heal the thing that the doctor said could not be healed god you are the great physician and so god we don't bow to the diagnosis of any doctor but we bow to the will of a god who can part a see that can raise the dead that can cause blind to see that can save folks like me who were lost in sin and all of a sudden one day just snatch us out [Music] yes god this is the thing that we are asking you for god we're asking you for the miraculous we are asking you for those things that confound doctors we're asking you lord for those things that confound lawyers for those things that com confound financial institutions educational institutions god confound those who think they are wiser than you and god make your name be glorified cause us lord god to believe lord we believe help our unbelief god when we are feeling weak god and feeling like you can't do this thing god would you raise up a word for us like this word god that said that joshua actually with boldness said hey son come on and god heard because he responded to the faith of joshua god let that faith be in us create that faith in us where god those things that seem unbreakable will break those things that seem unmovable will move those things that seem lord god like they've been lasting a long time finally have to flee god create miracles and begin them with us as we bow god as we get on our faces and as we say god forgive us for reducing your power to us to power like ours god we say you are limitless in your power god we need miracles in this house in this house god in this house god would you heal would you deliver god would you set free god in the name of jesus those people we've been praying for for a long time who haven't gotten saved god in the name of jesus bring their feet in this house god and when they touch this floor god in the name of jesus may they be surrounded by ministering angels and salvation come quickly god let people who are sick god in their bodies walk in and because of the power of our belief god they immediately are healed god we believe help our unbelief strengthen our faith now god calls us to be like joshua and speak with boldness to a god who hears to a god who responds not to us shouting not to us screaming but he responds to our faith so god god we know you hear us god we wait with expectation we're asking would you heal would you heal would you heal would you heal would you heal god those who are waiting on reports god when they go in god would you allow doctors to scratch their head and say it was there but it's not now i can't figure this out god confound god in the name of jesus those who are having financial issues god would you bring increase in a way that they have to say this had to be god god would you would you god exchange broken relationships for those that are now in harmony and god do it seamlessly so that all who are involved must say it had to be god so god we thank you we give you great praise we like joshua are asking you this morning stop it stop it god so that we can win stop it god so that we can win that we can be like joshua and we can override the enemy because the god of our salvation did the thing that we asked in jesus match this name i that declare the victory lord god the battle is won the victory is won thank you god that you always cause us to triumph and thank you god that you call us more than conquerors and this morning god we cry out to you for that freedom lord god we're interceding for freedom right now interceding and praying and naming call out the names of those you know who need that manifestation of glory for freedom for deliverance lord god for freedom from oppression for freedom from mental anguish and torment for freedom from poverty for freedom from sickness freedom from dis ease freedom from every condition that diminishes the image of god and the beauty of god and the flourishing plans of god in and through their lives god we're crying out for freedom for families today god there are families that are up against it they're under pressure there are marriages god that are up against it and under pressure lord god there are young men and young women that are up against it trying to figure it out and trying to work it out god and we're inviting you now to show up lord god show up lord god show up lord god like you showed up at the red sea lord god moses stood there and you said to him you lift up your hand god we're lifting up our hands god and thank you that you are making the ways and the routes of deliverance and victory playing we're asking you lord god that you would show up like you did in the prison of paul and silas lord god show up and break every chain and remove every burden and destroy every yoke lord god and in the same way you caused your people to walk through the sea on dry ground lord god let it be known that those whom the son sets free are free indeed lord god cause our children to walk in freedom cause our relationships to walk in freedom let there be a new birth of liberty in this place for god for the spirit of god is upon us god the spirit of god is upon us and we're crying out to you lord god for those miracle signs and wonders those works of deliverance that you and you alone can accomplish we're tired of being bound tired of being tired god tired of being more now tired of being stressed out lord god tired of being beat up and put down lord god we're lifting up our heads this morning king of glory king of glory come in king of glory come in king of glory come in we need you god we need you god we need you god we don't have enough wisdom to figure it out we don't have enough networks and connections to figure it out we don't have enough money to work it out but you god and you alone one word from you god is deliverance one word from you god is victory would you like you did for moses hide us in the cleft of the rock let all your goodness pass before us let us see your goodness god let us see your goodness god let us see your goodness don't allow it to be something we just heard about not something we just read about not something we just think about but god let there be tangible manifest evidence lord god that we can see taste touch and feel of your goodness in our midst god we thank you we thank you god we thank you god we thank you lord we thank you lord we thank you lord for freedom and deliverance as your glory to know and to find you god i set for a moment just listening to the worship and i heard the lord say is this what you really want is this what you really want do you really want the holy spirit to overwhelm you do you really want to welcome him into every area facet and aspect of your being listen don't just respond religiously but think think about it because welcoming him in means there are some things that will have to be moved out if you want to welcome him in there are other things that you will have to affect by the power of the holy ghost if you want to be overwhelmed by his presence you're going to have to turn your attention from some of the earthly things that distract you and pull you away and tempt you to lean on what you used to do and what you used to know and how you used to get it done do you really i mean really do you really want the holy spirit do you really want more of him do you really want him to overwhelm do you really want him to overflow do you really want him to overtake you have you had enough of doing it on your own have you had enough of trying to figure it out yourself have you had enough of what you can accomplish in your own might power and ability are you really ready are you really really are you really ready to welcome him in are you really ready to let him take over because here's what happens when the glory calms your usual order of service is interrupted chronicles we see that they began to offer sacrifices and they began to praise and they began to go through what they always did what had previously been prescribed as the order of worship but then in an instant something happened and the cloud of glory filled the temple and they couldn't even minister they had made plans that day but the glory showed up and said it's going to be different now are you ready are you really ready is that what you really want cause listen if you don't want it i'm not mad at you you can leave now if you don't really want it i'm not mad at you you can you can log off now it's okay but listen in october 2021 in november 2021 and december 2021 and beyond i want to see god do exceedingly abundantly above all i could ask or think or imagine i want him to rearrange my schedule and change my agenda and i want him to refine my appetites because what i want from him is what he has for me and that's all i want more of him so whatever needs to move out the way get out the way whatever i need to cancel i have to cancel if i have to reschedule it i got to reschedule it because god what matters most is you what matters most is you god make us more aware of your presence we don't want to be like those who stood at the lake and the very voice of god spoke from heaven and said this is my beloved son in whom i'm well pleased and when you read it it says some of them thought it was thunder god don't make us dull we don't want to be dull we don't want to be desensitized we don't want to be complacent we don't want to be so busy and so entertained with what's going on in this natural realm lord god cause us to remain in a posture of gates lifted up heads lifted up necks outstretched hearts open wide and ready to receive god so that we can both receive and dispense because what the world needs is not more of you and not more of me it needs more of him so god fill us up god fill us up whatever's in us that's an interruption or displeasing to you god would you by your spirit point it out and grant us grace to evict it to respond in obedience god because we really we really we truly we earnestly not just need but want you we want you we want you god we want you more of you more of you more if you mow a few more if you more of you more of you god that is our hearts desires and that is our hearts cry god that you sir would be all that you say you are that you sir would do all that you've promised and that you would be so and do so in us and to us and for us and through us and on our behalf god we position ourselves we ready ourselves we make room for the glory of the lord in jesus name [Music] let us experience [Music] let us [Music] let us [Music] oh [Music] [Music] let us um the glory of just don't sit there like you you expect him to come serve you go after him go after him go after him in your spirit go after him in your prayer go after him lord i have to have you i need more of you have to become more aware of his presence when he is moving you got to get in the flow hallelujah it's like being on on a football team you know everything you want to sit on the sideline dude and just be a spectator you you don't want to just be a spectator you want to be a participator come on participate in the flow this morning in the name of jesus just lift your hands right where you are participate in the name of jesus participate in the flow give him glory give him glory give him glory there's a reciprocity of praise there is a reciprocity of praise you've heard me say when the praises go up the blessings go down hallelujah when the praises go up come on you just give god some glory right now you give him glory let the high praises of god be in your mouth tell god how good he is how wonderful he is how awesome he is how marvelous he is he is a healer he is a deliverer lord you are a waymaker lord you are a provider lord you are a keeper lord you are a preserver lord you
