lex is so much taller than i am he always like a next to a giant all right so first of all i wanted to i brought two bibles up here lex was like man that's gonna be a long message if you have to use two bibles but this is a cultural background study bible new king james if anybody has any questions about a bible recommended by lex this is not one but i like it and i recommend it so yeah i want to thank lex and the elders for giving me the opportunity to talk tonight and i'm really grateful to be able to speak today's sermon is called the antichrist spirit at war and i've come to present a message uh to warn you about about an attack i see on the church um all right so who is the church i i've heard so many different answers when i talk to people and you know you go into a mainstream christian church and you ask them who the church is and say we are you go into a certain sects of christianity and they'll say well only this only our denomination is you go into a torah keeping church and they might say only those who keep torah so we go around inventing definitions that the lord is not given for what the church is i think it's important whenever we ask who the church is that we go to scripture acts 15 1-2 4-6 19-21 i tried to cut down as much as i could and certain men came from judea and taught the brethren unless you are circumcised according to the custom of moses you cannot be saved so the context of this whole chapter acts 15 is salvation therefore when paul and barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them they determined that paul and barnabas and certain others of them should go up to jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question to ask what's a requirement for salvation that last part was me and when they had come to jerusalem they received we received by the church and the apostles and the elders they reported all things that god had done with them but some of the sect of the pharisees who believed rose up saying it is necessary to circumcise them and to command them to keep the law of moses so the pharisees are saying salvation requires torah keeping and circumcision now the apostles and the elders came together to consider this matter and they had a ruling going down to verse 19 therefore i judge that we should no longer trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning away who are turning to god but that we write to them to abstain from polluted from things polluted by idols from sexual immorality that has to do with temple prostitution from things strangled and from blood it has to do with sacrifices for moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city being read in the synagogue in every sabbath so the answer that james gives is no you do not have to keep torah to be saved no you don't you have to stop worshiping other gods that's what these verses has to do with is idolatry then he adds in something at the very end because moses is taught on the sabbath now there's if you read some i've read a few scholars and if you read some of their works they argue over like someone says well this is about salvation acts 15. another say no this is about table fellowship and the question of if the jews can eat with gentiles but if you study the ancient near eastern context i know you guys are real shocked that i mentioned the ancient near east but if you if you study the ancient eastern context you'll figure out that the answer is yes because to a jew in order to eat with someone that had to be saved they had to be another jew and if you study the ancient if you study the jewish teachings on what is required to become a jew it's identical to what the new testament says is required for salvation because the jews thought that in order to be saved you had to convert and this is the this is the debate we're walking into you have two houses the house of shamai the house of hello gamaliel led the house of hallel during the time of paul and paul was trained by gamaliel and we could see this in his own arguments because over and over paul presents arguments to pharisees from the perspective of the house of hello but if you don't know this jewish argument's going on you'll think that paul's making it up he's not a lot of scripture is actually straight from pharisaic arguments the house of shamai was at the time of yeshua and paul the predominant house they were the ones that were accepted by the people hundreds of years later they were the ones that were completely rejected by the people the house of hale won the house of shamai said that in order to become a jew you had to be circumcised and keep the law before you convert sounds a lot like acts 15 huh the house of hallel responded and said that's not true you just have to have a willing heart and turn and repent and then later on you can start to keep the law what do we see in acts 15 he says no you don't have to keep the law because you'll be taught by moses you'll be taught what to do and a lot of times when we when we read the gospel when we read the scriptures because we live in america in an individualistic culture we approach it from an individualistic point of view you know how many times how many of you have ever heard someone say jesus died just for you i want you to raise your hand jesus died just for you how many of you have heard someone say if you were the only person alive jesus would have died for you raise your hand okay a lie a complete and utter lie you know why because the bible is not about you it is not about me it's about we the bible is about a restoration of us back to the family of yah it's about a sheep that was lost that's being brought back to the flock you know what you call a sheep that's by itself dinner you call it dinner and that's what so many people are out there and they are living their lives on their own i don't need fellowship i'm just you know what i just have torah and the holy spirit's my teacher oh yeah i bet you're listening to a spirit but it's not the holy spirit you know how i know because the holy spirit wouldn't tell you to be alone the holy spirit would tell you to gather together with other believers as the word commands the holy spirit won't seek to keep you on your own so you can end up as a lamb chop the lord says be united with other sheep because sheep are safe with other sheep because a shepherd is nearby when a sheep is by himself that means he's lost and if you are by yourself you're lost so the definition of the church is those who believe in yeshua those who believe in the gospel can anybody can anybody list a verse where the gospel requires torah observance don't raise your hand because there's not one the truth is that the church is made up of torah believers and non-torah believers and the war that i'm here to talk about today it's happening simultaneously against those who keep torah and those who don't keep torah in different ways in during the time when the bible was being written the old testament one of the main adversaries of yahweh was baal baal however you want to pronounce his name and uh he later became to be known as beelzebub uh which they are beelzebub i'm going to mix it up one was beelzebub one was beazable the jews took his name which means lord of heavens and they corrupted it to mean lord of the flies as an insult and you see this a lot in the bible actually uh if you study like the ancient the name of the canaanite gods and the mesopotamian gods you'll you'll see a lot where the bible makes fun of them like it uses their words as an insult you actually see it in daniel 7. i'm going to talk about that here in a bit but beelzebub bale became bezebo who became satan so you see a transition in in jewish thought and biblical thought where this uh this entity the spiritual entity kind of morphed and became the leader of the satanic world the leader of the enemies of god the ruler of the underworld however you want to look at it what's interesting is that baal was considered the lord of heaven he was considered the one who rides upon the clouds i want to say that again he was he was considered and i say considered very carefully the one who rides upon the clouds but we know that there's only one who rides upon the clouds and i want to present to you today that there's been a war going on since the time of elijah and probably before you see when elijah was prophesying he prayed that it wouldn't rain and it didn't rain for three and a half years we're reading that in our you know american western church we're like oh that's interesting i wonder why he did that what we don't know is that baal is the one who brings the rain so from their perspective when he prays and there's no reign baal is being defeated by yahweh and then at the end of the three and a half years elijah has a showdown he goes to the mountain he says bring all your prophets come on let's go and he offers he lets them offer sacrifices they worship bale and they do all these religious incantations and witchcraft to try to get bale to bring down fire nothing happens and of course the prophet elijah is mocking bale the whole time oh maybe he's asleep maybe he's going to the bathroom you know maybe he just doesn't have it in him right now and then elijah stands up and prays and calls on fire and eats up the sacrifice he eats up the water and then he kills like 350 prophets of baal that's a bloody thing that is a bloody thing if if he was if elijah was alive today the church would be like well my god my god wouldn't do that that was you see all the blood on his hands i mean he was covered in blood you guys like his his his robe was probably soaked in blood his arms were covered in blood as he hacked them depart oh sorry the kids are here uh anyways moving on sorry about that uh i don't know how to okay i'm just gonna go on all right so i'm really sorry parents oh man all right so there's a war in the heavens there's a war in the heavens where baal or or satan is constantly trying to replace yahweh he's he's trying to fight and that's what jezebel was doing jezebel was trying to replace the god of israel yahweh with ball and so that's she it was basically a war on earth a earthly war but a heavenly war and i was i want to present to you today that right now there's an earthly war and i'm not talking about politics i don't care about that okay i'm talking about you the church there's an earthly war and there's a heavenly war at the same time so revelation 12 17 7-9 let's go there real quick and war broke out in heaven michael and his angels fought with the dragon and the dragon and his angels fought but they did not prevail nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer so the great dragon was cast out the serpent of old called the devil and satan who deceives the whole world he was cast the earth and his angels were cast with him um and then i want to read verse 17. this is the core verse of the message today and the dragon was enraged with the woman so this is satan and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring who keep the commandments of god and have the testimony of jesus christ so satan is making war with the the offspring of the woman who i think is zion um the offspring of the woman who have two things that identify them they have the they keep the commandments of god in the bible that means one thing the torah that's it you cannot pervert that and change it to something else oh it's the the law of jesus no the commandments of god in the bible or is the torah so they keep the torah and they have the testimony of jesus christ i want to mention one more thing about when i was talking about the church um in our zeal we can become overzealous we can insult our brothers scripture says that christians torah observers messianics hebrew roots whatever you want to call us baptists catholics all of these people are members of the house of god because membership in that family does not require obedience to the torah now if we say that they are not that they are not believers that they are not christians or not worthy what we're saying is and hopefully unknowingly the work of god is not enough the yeshua's price he paid on the cross was not enough when messianics condone or attack mainstream christians and say you're not a believer because you don't keep the torah they're saying the power of god wasn't enough they're insulting the spirit of grace they are insulting everything yeshua did everything he did when he poured out his blood saying it's not enough this is a dangerous thing who are we to say to god your work is not enough and if if you think that you know better that's pride that's pride there's an attack on the mainstream church and there's an attack on those of us who keep torah now you notice the verse said they have the testimony of jesus christ and they keep the commandments of god i'm going to present to you that the attack on the mainstream church is in their obedience and the attack on the ma the torah keeping church is their faith we're commanded to shama we're commanded to hear and obey deuteronomy 6 4-9 hear o israel the lord our god the lord is one that's yahweh our elohim yahweh is a cod you shall love yahweh your elohim with all your heart with all your soul with all your strength and these words which i command you today shall be in your heart you shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit down when you walk by the way when you lie down and when you rise up shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates have you ever wondered why the antichrist does a mark on your hand and on your between your eyes it's because he's mocking yahweh because yahweh says the shema to hear these words it shall be written on our hand and on our forehead it's like an oath of loyalty and so the antichrist when he comes he will mock god by putting an oath of loyalty to him on your hand and on your forehead so it's a swearing oath a swearing of allegiance that's what salvation is whenever you whenever you pray and confess that yeshua is yahweh getting ahead but it's an oath of loyalty you're swearing an oath and if you break that oath if you turn around and say he's not yahweh you're breaking an oath of loyalty to yahweh to yeshua anyways we're getting ahead so in the new testament the shema is taught by james in james 1 21 through 22 and 25 therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word which is able to save your souls but be doers of the word and not hearers only doers and not just hearers so hear and obey deceiving yourselves but he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and is not for is not a forgetful here but a doer of the work this one will be blessed in what he does so we're commanded to hear and obey to shamaw to not just hear not just hear the word to walk away and do our own thing um one way citizen to deny yeshua is by not obeying him and our enemy understands this and that's he's trying to cause disobedience he's trying to sow seeds of disobedience in the church luke 4 6-46-49 why do you call me lord lord and not do the things which i say whoever comes to me and hears my sayings and does them i will show you who he is like he is like a man building a house who dug deep and laid the foundations on the rock and when the flood arose and his team be vehemently against his house could not shake it for it was founded on the rock but he who heard and did not and did nothing that is he who heard the word but did not obey did not shema is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation against which the steam beat vehemently and immediately it fell and the ruin of the house was great remember that in the ancient near east people didn't live alone in israel they didn't live by themselves your servants lived with you and your family live with you so when it talks about a man building a house and the destruction of his house it's saying a man made a foolish decision and everyone he loved suffered for it if we don't obey yeshua because he says lord lord and why do you call me lord lord and not do what i say if we don't obey him it's saying not only will we be destroyed but so too will our family everyone we love will suffer and die with us and i'm not talking about physical death i'm talking about a worse death i'm talking about the kind of death where you look at yeshua when he returns and he looks at you and says i don't know you you didn't obey me you practiced lawlessness leave now so once we're saved we're commanded to obey romans 6 15-18 what then shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace certainly not do you not know that to whom you present yourself slaves to obey you are that one slaves whom you obey whether of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness but god may think that though you were slaves of sin yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered and having been set free from sin you became slaves of righteousness so once we're saved we're commanded to obey does that obedience if we don't obey does that mean we're not saved well most of us have children if you tell your child to go clean the room and they don't do you look at him be like that's it you're dead to me you're not my child get out of my house you wait till they're at least 18 to do that right know hopefully hopefully not but no we don't as a parent we naturally understand we naturally understand that obedience is not required for sonship and the same thing is true of the church obedience to torah is not required for us to be his child but what happens when you disobey depends on the parent you know time out spanking corner whatever take away the ipad um actually my stepdad was a master of discipline we uh sidenote here um one time we he told us to go to bed and we didn't go to bed so he comes in the room and we're talking he's like oh you boys you don't want to go to sleep go ahead and get on up and we're like all right all right dad's awesome he's going to let us get up he's like yeah come on in the living room like yeah that's so cool yeah he's like oh come on voice drop and give me push-ups right now and for 30 minutes he grass drilled us push-ups sit-ups run in place jumping jacks cherry pickers over and over for 30 minutes by the time we were done our arms were shaking we were crying we were begging to go back to bed we were so grateful when he finally released us to go back to bed because he sat on the couch and said you're going to do push-ups till i'm tired anyways we were so grateful that we had the honor of going to bed at that point i know that's right i i wonder i wonder if maybe that's what yahweh does to us like when we have a rebellious heart we don't want to listen we don't want to obey he says okay go ahead do what you want let's see what happens and then all these bad things are happening to us we're suffering we're striving all the chaos in our life all the darkness that surrounds us like i don't know what's going on my arms are shaking i can't do any more push-ups he's like that's the result of your sin that's the result of your lawlessness sin is lawlessness first john 3 4 whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness and sin is lawlessness so literally i mean scripture literally says it so breaking the law is sin and we're commanded to obey we're commanded not to sin the antichrist is called the lawless one how can he be called the lawless one if there is no law if the law has been done away with which i i know you all agree with me on this i'm just making the point if the law has been done away with how can the antichrist be against the law and if jesus came to do away with the law doesn't that mean that he's the lawless one doesn't that mean that would that make jesus the antichrist no obviously right no the answer is no he didn't come to do away with the law and a lot of mainstream christians understand that today but some don't and so this is the attack that satan is is constantly attacking the mainstream church with he's attacking them with lawlessness he's attacking them with disobedience constantly trying to destroy their testimony because he wants to accuse them before god he wants to accuse them the antichrist is also called the man of sin because he's against the torah second thessalonians two one through four now brethren concerning the coming of our lord jesus christ and are gathering together to him we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled either by spirit or by word or by letter as if from us as though the day of christ had come let no one deceive you by any means for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed the son of perdition who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called god or that is worshipped so that he sits as god in the temple of god showing himself that he is god so this is the antichrist obviously and it's a reference to daniel obviously he's called the man of sin first john says that sin is breaking the law so the antichrist is the man who encourages you to break the law and he actually goes so far as to sit in the temple of yahweh and proclaim himself to be god and then continues in verse 7 through 12 from the mystery of lawlessness is already at work only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way and then the lawless one will be revealed whom yahweh will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming the coming of the lawless one is in according to the works of satan with all power and signs lying wonders and with all righteousness and deception among those who perish because they did not receive the tr the love of the truth that they might be saved and for this reason god will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie that they all may be condemned who do not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness that's those who took pleasure in sin they believed a lie because they were under strong delusion what's the delusion that the law has been done away with therefore there's no law to keep there's no law to break and i can take delight in my sin do you know there's a guy uh joseph prince he teaches that it's a sin to keep the ten commandments so let me let me put it let me put it another way he teaches that it's a sin not to commit adultery and someone said why would he say that i said well obviously he's probably committing adultery that's in my mind you know he's lawless he's living a lawless lifestyle so he's seeking to justify it i hope i don't get us in trouble by mentioning his name all right so the primary attack against the church today the mainstream church is lawlessness remember he the dragon makes war satan makes war with those who keep the commandments and have the testimony of jesus christ so he has two primary attack points obedience and faith he attacks them both and right now the mainstream church is weak in obedience so he attacks with that and right now the torah keeping church is weak with faith and that's where he's attacking right now the antichrist spirit is attacking our faith by working to deny that yeshua is the messiah but how can he convince people who believe in yeshua that he's not the messiah how would you do that well first thing you do is create a love of knowledge you create a love of knowledge that far succeeds that of the love of god and you would teach people that this pursuit of knowledge is the ultimate end it's everything we need we need the next revelation you know how you make a youtube video blow up you put the mystery of the mystery of baptism it's like whoa what is that mystery and you click on it watch it like there's no mystery yeah because there's not one but that's click bait right that's what satan's doing he's getting us with click bait he's saying hey i got some hidden knowledge for you little gnosis you want to be agnostic i mean hebrew roots i mean messianic what's that you want some hidden knowledge you want a drink of this hidden water eat this hidden manna that they didn't know before but now we know you have to be in the club to know though that means you're better than everyone because you know this is his attack on us he's attacking us he's setting a trap he's setting a trap how how do you set a trap so you create this this environment where people begin to worship knowledge and they begin to exalt knowledge above yeshua and you how about we separate the church how about we cause division among the brethren how about we cause the the torah keeping church to start hating on the the christian church the the non-torah keeping church and how about when the christian church sees that they'll start hating on the torah keeping church will cause division i've been guilty of that myself i have so how does he attack our faith though that's a that's a rough one how would he do that you know satan is very intelligent very smart he's sly he's cunning he's like a serpent first john 2 23 2-23 says who is a liar but he who denies jesus is the christ that's the messiah he is the antichrist who denies the father and the son whoever denies the son does not have the father either he who acknowledges his son has the father also so in order to attack the nature of the messiah you have to get them to deny that jesus is the messiah the christ but how do you do that in a church that believes that jesus is a messiah hashtag the mystery of i'm just joking how could the enemy possibly trick those who keep torah i mean we have all this knowledge by convincing them that yeshua is not yahweh that's it just one little tweak one little twist take the truth and bundle it up put a little lie a little leaven and say here it's a free gift knowledge it's what you wanted eat it up and he gets us he gets us he springs a trap first corinthians 12 13 i'm sorry 12 3 first corinthians 12 3 therefore i make known to you that no one speaking by the spirit of god calls jesus accursed and no one can say that jesus is lord except by the holy spirit anybody ever heard that jesus means earth pig on youtube or facebook anybody ever heard that thank god that's a horrible teaching how about jesus means hail zeus have you heard that how about the jesus one has the scholarship of a two-month-old they tried to say that use the name jesus as sin or wrong or insulting to our lord they take nonsense arguments like hey half of his name in greek is pronounced this way and the other half in latin is pronounced this way and if you mix them together in english it sounds like this well i'm sorry i didn't know languages work that way because they don't these arguments about the name of jesus are one purpose to insult our lord and master and we eat them up because of our desire for knowledge because we want the hidden knowledge because we want something new yahweh isn't interested in giving you new knowledge he's interested in him giving of giving himself he doesn't want you to love knowledge he wants you to love him and because you love him you love knowledge but if you take that and you twist it and you turn it into something man fleshly and you exalt yourself i've been there i've been guilty of that where i puffed myself up with pride and sought to find some kind of hidden meaning in scripture and it took me down a path that was bad a lot of people the lord told me a while back he said my people don't want me they want miracles they want prophecy they want torah they want a revelation but they don't want me and i felt like there's a recent event in our history that happened where a lot of false prophets were claiming that a certain person was going to be reelected a lot of false prophets were saying a second term people say oh he was reelected but they cheated that's not what they were talking about they were saying he was going to be president and i was really upset because i see a lot of false prophecies going around i felt like the lord said i'm not going to punish the false prophets because this is what you wanted you went around back and forth chasing prophecy you wanted the next big thing so you got it and it wasn't of yahweh and so what if we go around teaching knowledge go around looking after knowledge seeking knowledge and then we find a false teacher and we follow him he takes us down the road of perdition and yahweh says that's what you wanted you went you didn't want me you didn't seek me you wanted knowledge and you found it first corinthians 12 3 says that no one speaking by the spirit of god calls jesus accursed and no teacher can claim that jesus means hell zeus or earth pig or jesus or any other made up dung pile unless because they're not full of the holy spirit because they're insulting his name yeah it's his name in english do you think that matters you think again when you're standing before the king of kings and all of his angels are surrounding him and millions of people are around you and he looks at you and says why did you insult my name and you say well it was it was only in english i i just insulted the english name do you think that's going to matter do you think you can go to the uh president of the united states and cuss them out in chinese and if he speaks chinese get away with it no but supposedly we can insult the lord of all the earth because it's in english and he says that no one can say that jesus is lord except by the holy spirit jesus is lord what does that mean to paul it means that jesus is yahweh yeshua is yahweh romans 10 9-13 that if you confess with your mouth that yeshua sorry the lord jesus and believe in your heart that god has raised him from the dead you will be saved for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation for the scripture says whoever believes in him will not be put to shame for there is no distinction between jew and greek for the same lord over all is rich to all who call upon him for whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved okay so let's work this back for whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved is in reference to calling upon him which is saying the same lord over all there's no distinction between jew or greek okay and it's talking about the confession of the mouth unto salvation okay and then it goes back to the very beginning of the verse that if you confess with your mouth that you the lord jesus why is that important well if you go to joel 2 32 where paul is quoting it says this and it shall come to pass that whoever calls in the name of yahweh shall be saved for in mount zion and in jerusalem there shall be deliverance as yahweh has said among the remnant whom he calls so it says it should come to pass that whoever calls on the name of yahweh shall be saved but then paul says whoever calls on the name of the lord jesus christ shall be saved so that means paul believed that yeshua is yahweh philippians 2 9-11 therefore god also has highly exalted him and given him the name that is above every name that on the name of jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the earth and that every tongue should confess that jesus christ is lord to the glory of the father which name is above every name which name is exalted psalm 148 13 let them praise the name of yahweh for his name alone is exalted and his glory is above the earth in heaven paul is stating over and over that yeshua is lord curious a greek word they use for yahweh it also means other things like lord and master but he's quoting directly from old testament verses that use the name yahweh and applying that directly to yeshua he's calling yeshua yahweh romans 14 8-11 for if we live we live to the lord if we die we die to the lord therefore whether we live or die we are the lords for to this end christ died and rosen lived again that he might be lord of both the dead and the living but why do you judge your brother why do you shall contempt for your brother for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of christ for it is written as i live says the lord every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to god so paul says we shall all stand before the judgment seat of christ and this judgment seat of christ every knee will bow and every tongue confessed that he is the lord to whom do we bow to whom do we swear an oath paul is quoting from isaiah 45 21-23 tell and bring forth your case let them take counsel together who has declared this from ancient times who has told it from that time have not i yahweh and there is no other god beside me a just god and a savior there is none beside me look to me and be saved all you ends the earth for i am god and there is no other i have sworn by myself the word has gone out by my mouth and righteousness and shall not return that to me every knee shall bow and every tongue shall take an oath once again paul is clearly claiming that yeshua is yahweh some people deny paul they say well that's paul paul is crazy you know he's twisting the scripture he's a false apostle you know i studied this for a year i came to this conclusion i'm like go read it again go study it for two more years because you're wrong did yeshua ever make a claim of divinity did yeshua ever claim that he's yahweh because if you talk to an anti-missionary they'll say no yeshua never claimed that only his disciples claimed that or only paul claimed that that's a go-to only paul claimed that matthew 26 63-66 but jesus kept silent but yeshua kept silent and the high priest answered and said to him i put you under oath by the living god tell us if you are the christ the son of god jesus said to him it is as you said nevertheless i say to you hereafter you will see the son of man sitting at the right hand of the power and coming on the clouds of heaven then the high priest tore his clothes saying he has spoken blasphemy what further need do we have of witnesses look now you have heard his blasphemy what do you think and they answered he is deserving of death you see over and over yeshua said he was the son of man but he was talking to uneducated people so they just didn't get it they didn't understand what he was saying in fact in some churches today messianic and mainstream doesn't matter they'll say son of man he was he was relating to his humanity and he was he was saying that he's human wrong he was making a strong claim he is divine daniel 7 13-14 i was watching in the night visions and behold one like the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven do you remember at the beginning of my sermon i said someone club comes with the clouds of heaven do you remember who it was it was baal if you if you study ancient or eastern mythology you will immediately and then you read the bible you immediately see over and over and over again they take the honorifics that were given to these false gods and they say nope that's not yours because our god will kill you he's going to kill you like a man that doesn't belong to you it belongs to yahweh oh baal you think you're the one who comes upon the clouds you think you're the one who gives the water nope yahweh so here's the son of man coming with the clouds so daniel is disturbed later on in his it says he was he was disturbed he didn't understand what he was seeing what is this i see a man who has the power of a god how is this possible this was extremely um controversial i guess during his time and later on after daniel uh in the around the second temple period there actually was a teaching of two powers in heaven or two yahweh's in heaven the yahweh the father and then the some called it the lesser yahweh some people call it well we'll i'll call it like this yahweh in the flesh yeshua hamashiach this was a jewish teaching which was considered a heresy but it was based on daniel 7 because he saw two divine he saw the ancient of days and one coming with the clouds it's very clearly if you understand ancient or eastern culture and mythology it's very clearly a statement of a divine being a divine being is coming to yahweh and so daniel is taking this honorific that was given to baal and saying that doesn't belong to you it belongs to the most high because you're not the ruler of heaven you're the you're nothing you're the ruler of flies that's what the jews did with beelzebub and beelzebub they took ruler of heaven and turned it into ruler of the flies i i'm really fond of that but yeshua called himself son of man over and over again he's claiming to be divine he's coming he's claiming to become the one who comes with the clouds and the people didn't understand that until he got to the high priest and he's standing before a high priest and he puts him under oath he puts him under an oath so he says okay i'm gonna answer yep i'm the messiah i'm also the son of man prophesied by daniel i'm the one who comes with the clouds of heaven and the high priest tore his clothes and said this man has blasphemed why because this man yeshua was claiming to be god and he understood that it's the uneducated people who did not understand all these times that yeshua was claiming to be god and only i think two times they caught on and they went to stone him what is there further proof of yeshua claiming to be yahweh because you could argue oh well the son of man coming with the clouds it's like a lesser divine being you know kind of like an angel that would be a horrible argument but you could argue that so what about is there something else john 8 51-59 most surely i say to you if anyone keeps my words he shall never see death full stop who what if if i stood up here and i said if anyone keeps my words you won't die you would say he's a little crazy like sorry guys alexa would walk up take the mic away and be like isaac i don't know he ate too many burritos or something he's gone he's a guy he's on off his rocker right and that's exactly how the jews reacted then the jews said to him now we know you have a demon abraham is dead and the prophets are dead and you say if anyone keeps my word he shall never taste death are you greater than our father abraham who is dead and the prophets who are dead who do you make yourself out to be and jesus answered if i honor myself my honor is nothing it is my father who honors me of whom you say that he is your god yet you you have not known him but i know him and if i say i did not know him i shall be a liar like you but i shall but i do know him and keep his word your father abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw and was glad and the jew said to him you're not yet 50 years old and you have seen abraham and jesus said to them most assuredly i say to you before abraham was i am then they took up stones to throw at him but jesus hid himself and went out of the temple going through the midst of them so passed by now just so you know in in grammar the sentence doesn't make any sense that's why if you read when he's saying his i am phrases in in john you'll say that put in italics he because it doesn't make sense he's speaking grammatically wrong in in greek he shouldn't be saying i am there's an error in the text except for there's not because john is doing this on purpose he's saying yeshua is i am that i am of exodus he's making a direct connection yeshua is claiming to be yahweh because remember what yahweh means yahweh is the name i am that i am but it's saying he is that he is basically he is i am so if a person said there i am if a human being who's not god said there i am that's called blasphemy that means you're worthy of death if yeshua claimed this claim and was wrong he deserved to be crucified and we have no salvation only if he's truly yahweh if he's truly god then are we saved and is he a true messiah from yahweh um there's yet another claim john 10 22-31 now is the feast of dedication in jerusalem and it was winter and jesus walked in the temple on solomon's porch then the jews surrounded him and said to him how long do you keep us in doubt if you're the christ tell us plainly and jesus answered them i told you and you do not believe the work that i do in my father's name they bear witness of me but you do not believe because you're not my sheep as i said to you wow not my sheep who's the great shepherd in the old testament god yahweh yet yeshua said that he was a good shepherd he's claiming to be god my sheep hear my voice and i know them and they follow me and i give them eternal life and they shall never perish neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand okay also i give them eternal life raise your hand if you can give eternal life don't raise your hands kids no man no man can give eternal life no one my father has given them to me and is greater than all and no one is able to snatch him out of my father's hands i and my father are a god hero israel yahweh our elohim yahweh is a cod my father and i are a god he's mirroring the shema then the jews took up stones again to stone him yeshua over and over is extremely offensive and outrageous so let's think about the history here it's the feast of dedication hanukkah well what was that well the greeks came in and decided to worship another god in the temple and offered a sacrifice in the temple to another god in other words hanukkah is the dedication of the altar a celebration of dedication altar specifically a celebration of overcoming idolatry in the temple so yeshua goes to the temple during hanukkah and says i'm yahweh i'm god and they're like oh what no way get some stones quick guys he's i mean this is like the most controversial way he could possibly say this i'm trying to think of a good example but i can't it's like if someone stood up if a president stood up on the fourth of july and said i hate america how controversial like come on like that's it's not an accident you know this guy's crazy this is the same way the jews would have viewed this this man this prophet from their perspective is standing up in the temple on the feast day which celebrates destroying idolaters and rededicating true worship to yahweh and says here i am so controversial man if you study honor and shame and then you read the new testament you are going to be like man yeshua was so controversial i mean he was just blowing them away all the time like think about it when he healed the person on the sabbath he could have healed them the next day he could have easily healed the next day it was extremely offensive for him to do that but he did it he did it on purpose and he made a point of doing it when the pharisees would challenge him privately like so in honor shame culture if you want to confront someone publicly you get a big audience but if you're trying to like shame them less because the whole point of shame is to bring someone back into back into communion with the cut with the family you might so you might look at his disciples and say well how come your disciples are eating with unwashed hands that wasn't directed at the disciples that was directed at yeshua but it's a way to shame him less so he has a chance to kind of go quietly and wash his hands and you know be meek about it and and repent and you know oh sorry guys i was eating with unwashed hands i forgot and his disciples could do it and then there was the next restoration restoration of relationship so that's what the pharisees did they're trying to quietly kind of sneak in like why are your disciples do this well obviously yeshua was too a disciple is not going to do something opposite of his master so if the disciples are eating with unwashed hands so is yeshua but they say why are your disciples doing that they're trying to challenge yeshua directly by shaming him indirectly so that he has a chance to change so what does yeshua do he gets everyone's attention he's like oh no you're trying to do this quietly let's talk about it here and now and he shames them publicly in front of everyone he was constantly disrupting the status quo he was constantly disrupting what they thought and what they came up what they were about he was extremely offensive this is an example he could have gone on saying he was the son of man they wouldn't have understood it but instead he chose to just come out and say it boom during the feast of dedication yeshua is yahweh yeshua is our messiah yeshua is our god yeshua's our king right now the antichrist is at war with each one of us see bro he's at war with us by trying to convince us to be lawless or trying to convince us to deny that he's the christ and the way that he does this is by convincing us that yeshua is not yahweh why because there's a war for the hearts of men going on that lasts from the time of the fall all the way until the end in revelation have you ever wondered why the two witnesses when they prophesy in revelation it doesn't rain well how long doesn't it rain for three and a half years well how long did it not rain for elijah three and a half years who is elijah fighting with who is he challenging baal the rain god supposedly brain god what does that tell you that tells you at the end times the worship of baal the worship of satan will be back and the the two witnesses the one who has the spirit of elijah and the one who has the spirit of moses they're challenging they're striking the earth with curses quote as malachi 4 says because they're lawless because of worshiping other gods god's coming it says in the first sexes we just read he says i will execute judgment on the gods of egypt and i think if if if we made a movie about the the exodus from uh an egyptian perspective it would be rated r it would be a horror movie seriously a horror movie because god comes in it systematically executes their gods kills them the god of the sun darkness for three days that would have been terrifying because remember that when you wanted to accuse someone of a crime that you couldn't prove you would tie them up and throw them in the water and what did what did the egyptians do to the children of israel they tied their babies up and they threw them in the water they were accusing him of a crime they're saying oh look look he's guilty he didn't die couldn't swim newborn baby couldn't swim out of this denial imagine that well that's why they didn't kill moses have you ever wondered why they didn't touch moses because he came out of the water he was in a he was in a uh ark basically so moses from their point of view god their god has deemed that moses is innocent that's why no one ever touched him no one ever touched him he was like why why didn't they kill him why some pharaohs be like hey take him out no they didn't kill him because from their perspective god had judged him innocent but the israelites were being judged and their babies were dying they were dying and they were saying we're guilty the israelites are guilty guilty guilty guilty guilty guilty then yahweh comes along and pharaoh says i don't know yahweh who is yahweh and he says i'm going to show you who i am i'm going to execute your gods i'm going to destroy your nation and for about a year he systematically wipes out the egyptian empire so dramatically that for a hundred years egypt would be fallen he wiped out egypt for a hundred years in one year when he systematically executed their gods all their gods he's just slaughtering them from the egyptians point of view and then comes a time when the children of israel they go on exodus and they go into the sea and then they come out of the sea and then the egyptians go in the sea and they die and all the people say their god just declared them innocent because they were thrown into the sea and they swam out and the egyptians were thrown into the sea and they drowned so not only did yahweh execute judgment on all their gods and slaughter them but he declared my people they're innocent and that's exactly what's going to happen when yeshua returns we're going to go into a greater exodus he's going to declare us innocent he's going to judge us by the rod we're going to become lawful he's going to remove the bales from our lips he's going to cause us to follow after him with the whole heart and he's going to execute judgment on all the gods of the world and he will destroy them and he will execute them and right now these gods these rebellious elohim they're fighting against yahweh they know they lost they know they lost at the cross when he descended into sheol and preached to the captives he wasn't preaching to men he was preaching to the rebellious ones that are chained in darkness as peter and jude reference he was telling them you lost you thought you could win by killing me but that was my plan all along you're destroyed i will kill you as psalms i think 81 or 82 says i will kill you like a man so he's coming with vengeance to kill these rebellious elohim but right now they're trying they're fighting for your souls they're fighting to corrupt the name of yahweh because they say if i can turn you i can mock god and when we deny yeshua as yahweh when we walk in lawlessness we testify against the most high and satan uses it to mock him so i would just encourage you to repent if you have struggled in this area questioning yeshua being yahweh if you've sought knowledge with pride instead of seeking the most high repent and give glory and honor to god and his son yeshua who has the name that's high and it up it's higher than any other name it's the name of yahweh yeshua's yahweh thank you i love you guys [Applause] thank you isaac kate chapter two it says but there were also false prophets among the people even as there will be false teachers among you who will secretly bring in destructive heresies even denying the lord who bought them and bring on themselves swift destruction and many will follow their destructive ways because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed and this is one of those things um i know isaac mentioned but it's one of those things that i've it's a trend that i've noticed in the last you know five or six years maybe longer ten years is more and more people are going down this way teaching false doctrines teaching heresies um teaching things against yeshua teaching against paul teaching us the new testament teaching against the deity yeshua teaching against the holy spirit you know any number of things and i just you know i want to echo what he said is is just a warning to just be on guard be on guard against false teachings the bible warns us that there will be false teachers the bible warns us that they will that many many will be led astray and deceived by them and so i just want you to be on guard kate come on up cade wants to sing with me all right let me stand over here [Music]
