- Hey man, let's talk about this, man, 'cause your show, man, really covers, sometimes, some serious and some thought-provoking subjects out there, man. Now, I know you've influenced some of the storylines on Blackish. What's something that you suggested, that's happened in your real life, that they shot down? - My relationship with my mama, my real relationship with my mama. You know my mama.
- Miss Doris? - You know, yeah, Miss Doris. You know, we...we can, you
know we have the...we... the relationship I have with my mama, we couldn't even talk about on cable TV, let alone network television. - Man, yo' mama gone. - Yeah. - Y'all don't know. - Steve refuses to play
dominoes with my mama. - I can't play dominoes
with his mama, cause she... she talked to me so bad, (audience laughs) you know, I'm a man,
and this Anthony' mama, so the first time we played dominoes was at the radio station. She scared me so bad! I said, Miss Doris, you
can't talk to me like that! - Well, what you gon' do? (Anthony laughs hysterically) - I was scared, I was...I was... Man, I was so thrown back! Yo' mama, and then I played her, and she beat me half to death. - Yeah. - 'Cause I couldn't...I couldn't get, I couldn't get with her. - Out of respect. - She talked to me so crazy, and we ain't got a lot of time, so I'ma put up a timer. - Okay. - We're gon' call this, Quickish. - Quickish. (applause) - Aight, let's go. - Uh-huh. - How badly do you break your
diet during the holidays? - I don't. - Okay, which of your
hobbies would surprise us? - I'm a gardener. - What? - See, it surprised you! - Serena and Venus Williams both grew up in your neighborhood. Did you know them? - I did not, I saw them
practice, but I know them now. - What's the one luxury
you can't live without? - Ooh, my golf clubs. - Yeah! When was the last time you took a nap? - On the way over here from my other job. (Everybody laughs) - Who can you never beat at golf? - You, because you scared to play me, like you scared to play
my mama at dominoes. (applause) (Anthony laughs hysterically) - What's your favorite
TV show of all time? - Blackish. (applause) - Which of your kids has
been easier to raise? - My daughter, Kyra Nicole Anderson. - What did you do as a kid that your mom still doesn't know about? - Ooh... - Now, you just lied and
said y'all talk about, yeah. - Yeah. - Naw, hell naw, hell naw. What did you did as a kid that your mom still don't know about? - Okay, I'ma tell you about, I'ma tell you this story,
she know about this. I'ma tell you this story about how I used to take, steal
money from my father, alright? I- my dad, doped in the cash business, so at the end of the night, he would always come home and have cash. And it would be in his file
cabinet, in the bedroom. So I would go in there, and take money, 'cause my mama taught me how to steal it. So, I would be crawling on my belly over there to get the money, and I would get to the file
cabinet, and I would unlock it, and my mother be laying down and she went, You better get me some. (audience laughs) - Better get me some. And so I'm like, alright,
so I get her some money. I get her some money,
I grab a handful out, and I backpedal out. And then my father, he has sleep apnea. So his sleep apnea will wake him up. So then my mother had
to turn him to her side, and pretend like she loved
him, and started kissing him. So I could escape with our money. (applause) I share you that. - Ha. That was a good one, man! Hey y'all, give it up for the one and only, Anthony Anderson!
