ANOTHER NORMAL DAY IN MARIO KART 8 DELUXE

oh no oh no oh no this is a mod that makes every character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe low poly and this is a mod that just adds Mike Wazowski that's all it does and these are over 30 mods that make the game almost unrecognizable I have a friend named Andy and Andy loves to play games just a little bit differently and today he's gonna show us these mods in four phases that get progressively worse until the game breaks so buckle your seat belts and start your engines because things are about to get really really weird [Music] sure [Music] and if you enjoyed this video make sure you subscribe to this channel before Andy finds his next Target so we're going to start off pretty simple here something light just kidding it's Freddy Fazbear I mean he looks good how does he look on a bike not much better I know they wanted to add DLC characters but this is not what I had in mind you know what else I didn't have in mind cows oh I don't like this one bit I don't like all the cows one bit well they're in they're also Invincible cows by the way the cows are invincible as if you weren't concerned enough oh I miss doing this all right that's a flying cow that was a flying cow there's there are Bunches of them they're flying in troops my entire perception of this game has been just completely changed all they had to do was delicately Place some cows down and I don't even know where I am anymore also I'm playing as Freddy Fazbear who appears to be wielding what looks like a mango he's even got like the metal endoskeleton I hate everything about this I wasn't sure if going to a new map would mean there's less cow but there's more there's more cows and they're huge I'm sorry I'm just now remembering that the placements are a little different than what they usually are oh my God cows oh my God cows oh my God cows second place seems to be having a good time though tenth years 11th you're just angry it's well I think I relate to 12th Place most of all oh also this is one of my favorite mods the all the green and red shells have been replaced with Mario in a Mario Kart I am having the time of my life right now this is the way Mario Kart is supposed to be experienced now it wouldn't be Mario Kart without any new cards and I think Mario are you good I don't like it I really know why this is somehow scarier than Freddy Fazbear anyway so it wouldn't be Mario Kart without some new cards right and they poured it over the pixelated pipe frame from Mario Kart tour and I think it's cool these cows are getting a little out of hand dude don't just don't you think here we effectively have Mario in a Mario Kart driving a Mario Kart yeah this looks real good this looks totally awesome I can't tell which one is which at this point it just looks like Mario's there twice look at how much Mario Kart is happening on the screen right now I mean I get that this is his game his name's in the title but dude leave some room for other people oh when he does a flip his head goes fully through his body that's that's the worst thing I've seen all right I've been freaked out enough time to move on to the next phase [Music] my favorite part of modding Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the custom tracks there are so many obviously Mario Kart's all about the race tracks right it's a lot of fun so when people make these custom tracks like this one it gets insane it's just like we're in a giant bound look at the picture of Peach and the giant swamp this is hell I'm scared of this wow that red show looks very um not like a red shell but it definitely is what kind of banana is this looks like a tree person in a garbage can well I'll take second place fine fine I'll take second place if that's how it's gonna be I guess I'll have to deal with it this one's called cheap cheap Cove and I mean yeah I mean it looks like it who actually took the time to sit down and Design This I mean this is incredible look at this place this looks like the type of place I'd go on vacation I mean it doesn't but you know I'm just trying to be nice if there's one thing I wanted to do since I was a kid it was make my own Mario Kart custom track back in the Mario Kart Wii era and you know I still wish I could because if I could it would be over but instead I'm Gonna Leave It to the mod developers because I could not create something like this even if I dreamed about it all right well I gotta trust this garbage can guy to defend me he's not helping I can't come in second place that's unacceptable I need to be in first I gotta be the champion of cheap cheap Cove come on baby go nice that map was so sick let her call Saul I did okay now this is where the whole custom map thing gets a little interesting what is what's with this map it's like we're in a freeway in the sky a highway you could say get it because it's up high you get it come on give me something this is disgusting Better Call Saul you know what I have to say the only on custom maps would you get an advertisement Saul Goodman and Among Us in the same Mario Kart track so the super horn appears to be Diddy Kong with a with a boom box that makes sense honestly that's what it should have been in the original game go oh I'm gonna get fourth place are you kidding okay I'm not gonna blame myself that map was weird that's okay because I have a better track in mind for you Mario Kart Double Dash fans Mario's circuit from Mario Kart Double Dash this is so cool Double Dash was the first game that I ever played like the first video game I ever played so to see this like really well recreated in Mario credit Deluxe is so cool sorry obviously some things are a little bit different I'm not going to say what but but there are a couple differences between this and the Double Dash version but for the most part this is a one-to-one recreation dude but maybe this isn't making you feel as nostalgic as me right maybe you didn't play Double Dash maybe you played Mark or Wii and if you did you'll like this next map Mario Kart Wii Rainbow Road the most iconic Rainbow Road in existence I think I don't know that's the way I see it this is one of the coolest remakes of a rainbow road I've ever seen I think I've played on other remakes of rainbow road from Mario Kart Wii but this one is so cool looking the attention to detail on this is fantastic I love it I could play this for hours the amount of memories I have falling off this map are truly too many to count come on don't hit me with the double blue really oh this oh man this really hearkens back to the good old days doesn't it there we go oh what a nice shot see I'm not totally garbage in Mario Kart I have to say since the last time Andy and I visited Mario Kart Deluxe dude these maps have gone up in quality so much especially the ports like this looks like it could really be part of the booster pass and added to Mario Kart and while I would love for them to add this in the booster pass if they don't I'm completely fine because we have this right here and that's good enough for me oh my God that was so cool ah and you know I love ports of old courses into new games right it's always exciting but nothing beats a brand new built from scratch custom Mario Kart track they came Bay this is an entire entire build from the ground up and and I love it like if you didn't know any better you could probably be convinced that this isn't whoa okay hold on I immediately made a wrong turn the second that the game started hold up a second I don't know how people just have this much creativity to make their own course from scratch but if people are able to do it by the way if you do want to race on these on your own all of them are in the description of this video you can check out for yourself as well as every other mod that we feature today this is dope like this whole underwater bit this is this is just this is good this is just good if I tried to make a custom course I'm pretty sure my first one would just be it'd be all 2D it'd be completely flat and it would go in a circle maybe four times this part's like a roller coaster oh maybe it actually is a roller coaster I I might just be really dumb and I'm not recognizing that can you guys stop bullying me please I'm trying to enjoy this custom map but I'm getting slaughtered by Red shells and green shells and blue shells oh my every six seconds okay this is the last one one more Double Dash map just because I love it this is the best one you could possibly Port into this game these items are hard to get I'm trying to get those double items but I keep missing everything oh this is so fun dude oh yeah it's like a roller coaster it's I don't like it it's dizzying actually please stop I don't even know what this map it's just a roller coaster it's just like a big roller coaster that you drive on like what more could you ask for in Mario Kart please tell me I can make it oh yeah oh that's so satisfying to be able to do I don't know how to launch my green stars hang on there we go I want to hit him I hit my Target and then immediately hit a wall I think we got this I think it's in the bag I'm in first place with a Diddy Kong I'm totally good dude boom baby first place let's go God I love custom tracks but you know what I love even more than custom tracks custom characters okay hold up I can explain oh actually I won't explain there's other characters I want to check out first we'll come back to this Minecraft Mario that's pretty cool I actually do really like this Mario mod the Minecraft Mario is pretty cool I don't think there's ever a world spinning rats three spinning revolving rats do I need to say anymore I probably don't right yeah Mario and Minecraft that's pretty cool it's it's weirdly fitting in Mario Kart actually now all we need is realistic Mario as a playable character in Minecraft and everything is officially ruined now Minecraft Mario is cool and all but don't get me wrong there's plenty of other characters I installed that we have to check out like Squidward Santa Claus I don't know why I did this should you put Squidward in a Santa Claus outfit into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe I wouldn't have done it but that didn't stop somebody else from doing it he goes over Luigi so he has Luigi sounds when he talks which I guess kinda sounds accurate hey just because I put Squidward in doesn't mean I'm not gonna have other SpongeBob characters with holiday themes there's nobody driving that bike should I be concerned about that anyways 2023 SpongeBob he likes to celebrate give him credit I don't remember there ever being like a Happy New Year's edition of a SpongeBob episode or game but we have it here so that's good my favorite thing about these mods is that you really don't need to know where the character comes from I mean people import characters from all kinds of games Crash Bandicoot you know they import like like like Crash Bandicoot for example believe me there's far weirder things that people could have ported into this game that I could have downloaded to check out and I did so it says the king penguin from the Super Mario Bros movie look how cute he is don't ask why he's floating on what appears to be an invisible card I don't honestly don't even know at this point on Bowser take that Bowser that is but a taste of my Fury do you yield ow oh my God okay apparently not hit him hit him yeah yeah I just like hitting Bowser specifically as this guy it's the justice that we didn't get to see in the movie look it's my brothers my brethren oh sorry so continuing the trend of iconic SpongeBob characters in Mario Kart uh right here we have the floating shopping list everybody knows this guy milk eggs and cheese I wonder if Mr crab's ow hold oh this is what happens when I read my shopping list and I don't pay attention to where I'm driving um is that Thomas the Tank Engine driving through coconut mole I I think it is this is the quickest shopping list I've ever seen you can't honestly say you've seen a faster moving shopping list than this let's see what are our ingredients for today milk eggs cheese and bomb whoops I should have been looking where I was going instead of reading my oh go go go this looks like a Nickelodeon cart racer at this point it doesn't even look like Mario Kart we've got like 14 SpongeBob characters Jimmy Neutron and Thomas the Tank what more do you want there's not much to say about him other than the fact that he is Jimmy Neutron and he's kind of low-key stunting on them but guys he's driving on the train track why did I do this that's a train on train Collision right there I don't know why he's also Christmas themed he's got a Christmas tree just printed on the back I must have downloaded a lot of mods that were released around December I don't I don't know why did any child ever like Thomas the Tank including me he's horrifying oh and speaking of horrifying I think it's finally time ah I don't like that I don't that's not how he sounds in the movie monster zinc used to be my favorite movie as a kid like Mike Wazowski that's my icon right there you know what I'm saying like this is my man but also no I don't know what's with these coins by the way I forgot to point them out but they look delicious I really like this picture Mike Wazowski holding a rat like it's his grand prize this is why I do my job dude now if you think this is crazy and weird and wacky whatever you've seen nothing yet because it's time for the Final Phase breaking the game [Music] too late to back out now what even is this this is not this is not supposed to be in Mario Kart that's not that's not Grand Prix that's not what that is this like could not get anywhere to do it I swear no never mind yes it can what why oh no Patrick Patrick star yeah you know what yeah why not right oh no oh no oh no what's this the little spinning Patricks it's gonna take me a long time to get used to that it's very colorful I have to say that and fast why is it so fast I think this is oh it's the blue shell look at it go what a colorful explosion man low poly Mario Kart sure is weird it's like if Mario Kart was on the N64 or something wait Patrick are you okay down there I feel like I feel like you shouldn't be okay down there oh oh it's red oh god dude it looks like ketchup squirted on the screen or even worse tomato sauce sorry I don't I'm sorry yeah you know what I'm really digging this new character selection it's looking pretty good I don't like the Patrick mobile anymore maybe there's nothing that's a good option now t-posing Funky Kong in a Minecraft boat that is the kind of Mario Kart I like to play excuse me what what are these water parks sweet sweet Canyon swamp ruins absolutely fancy Sunshine airport I want to go there Rumble volcano Rainbow Road piranha plants these are all very accurate that's the thing that kind of messes me up I don't know about Wario Stadium maybe maybe not as accurate well the names are broken how exactly am I supposed to guess what these actually are is that uh Pauline yeah okay okay there's a there's a couple uh tposing characters in here oh I've got a I've got a what's that a 12-sided dice let's see what I roll what this is a fast boat if I'm being honest this is the fastest land boat I've ever driven so is that like a poo I don't know maybe it's like a pink ice cream maybe it's just a pink poo that looks very poopish I am so good what is that you have rights what what is that whoa what was that is it Saul Goodman telling me that I have rights nothing and I mean nothing could have prepared me for that oh no oh no he's headed for me oh no oh no a general life advice be careful throwing these things hold on hit the brakes I have never seen something so awful so repulsive so immoral in my entire life who thought this would be a good idea that placement represents exactly how I feel right now what is this oh my god oh it's like a spaceship oh this is awesome ah yes my favorite racetrack in all of Mario Kart history the parking lot I don't know about you guys but parallel parking performing K turns and avoiding shopping carts that's Peak Mario Kart gameplay that I want to see you know I used to want to see Petey piranha as a playable character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now that I'm seeing him in action wielding the dice I don't really want it anymore if I'm being honest okay so this is It's not what it looks like I mean it is it says right there what it is and it is exactly what it looks like I mean it's pretty straightforward what we gotta do right this is insane I I actually hate this so much I mean I love it it's so clever that you put this in Mario Kart but I hate it okay hold on so we're on it's the left and then the right and then the right and then the left and then the left and then the right and then the right and then the right did I oh I was about to say did I just get it am I just a god at the glass topic so put me in Squid game dude I'd be great at that look at that that's fantastic I love Mario Kart man this game is great help we knew it wasn't eventually right [Music] [Applause]
