I need to start this one off of a warning because this is very effective but it's not something you'll want to do forever it's to give you a strong boost to get yourself started all back on track and if that appeals to you then you probably have this very specific yet very common problem there's something you need or want to do and you're either not doing enough of it or not doing it at all and feeling bad as a result of it for some people that last their entire life but blue lock was showing us this whole time how to fix this very very quickly and it didn't even occur to me until a certain drive home from work one day but for now let's go all the way back to episode 11 of blue lock so I'm sure you remember the scene but just as a quick reminder the score is four all between team V and team Zed they're in stoppage time and team Zed neither win to stay in blue lock it's just kunami that moves forward if they don't win here isagi gets a long pass from behind and plans to control the ball then shoot that's his usual thing that's what he's done so far and it's got him to where he is but it's not enough because now naggi is behind him if he controls the ball he's going to just get tackled or blocked however he needs to score so after a frenzy of trying to figure out what to do he breaks his usual routine and goes for a volley which of course does go through giving team Zed the match and survival interesting subo before I get on with the video he could have done that anyway but he just usually wouldn't if naggi wasn't behind him he would have never even tried to do that despite being capable of it as we just saw but anyway let's rewind a bit so the pass is coming in he realizes nagi's behind him but now imagine exact same circumstances but rather than the score being four r instead team Zed is 5 n up and he's not in blue lock he's just in a Sunday game with his M at the park right now bearing in mind he was desperately searching for away to score this goal before he found it he was in an absolute frenzy trying to figure out how to do it do you really think he would have found it if he was under those other circumstances I mentioned where there was no desperation no intense desire nothing happens if he doesn't score here honestly probably not right maybe he does but probably not when there's a need for something you act very differently so as an example if I just asked you not to use your phone for a month but nothing happens if you do it's probably not going to happen let's be real like at some point you'd almost certainly just pick it up but now instead imagine if you use your phone at any point in the next month you die you're not going to go near that thing right the need to avoid it would completely change how you act and at this point you're probably wondering what the purpose of this video is like yeah obviously under circumstances like that you'd act completely different right that's Wow real groundbreaking stuff but here's the thing I'm not going to spoil anything don't worry if you're up to date with the manga you'll know that recently a similar thing happened where it's like he had to figure out something new on the spot and his team was just one n down in a game that's first of three goals so how come that same thing happened when there wasn't that same need there you know if you missed it's a bit of a wasted opportunity but it wasn't going to mean an instant defeat well if we take a step back isagi didn't need in the literal sense of the word to score that previous goal against team V he doesn't need to be a blue lock it's not as that he wouldn't be able to live a good life outside of that but his desire to score was so strong effectively felt like a need and again I promise this is going somewhere stick with me so as we said at the start of the video you're in the situation where you feel as though there's something you should or want to be doing but you're not doing it enough or at all and you feel bad as a result so what can we do about it you need to turn that desire into a need and this is what Jim Pachi does this is what the blue lock project is these 300 Strikers had the desire to be the best striker in the world and he very cleverly turned that into the need to survive the need to win the need to improve everyone walked in wanting and now fights needing so how can you do that for yourself because obviously Jim paty being fictional is not going to do that for you well there's two ways and there's a lot of overlap between the two firstly internal which I honestly think is the less powerful of the two but again as I said there's a lot of overlap between the two so some of these you could call external and VI Versa but it doesn't really matter what you call it anyway as an example Lissa Kara in the free free towards the end of the game he's a defeated man he's lost all his fire and ambition and then he takes a moment to think if I keep acting the way I am I'm going to end up like this which I do not want there's also obviously some external here where he's looking at his saggy in this Vision living the way he wants to and again it's a pretty powerful thing to see that seeing someone else with what you want is going to make you want to do something about it and as I said at the start this isn't something you're going to need or want to do forever right Barrow's whole thought process in the scene isn't something that's going to be healthy to have your entire life but you won't need to either you'll probably find after a month or so of this you've got that momentum going again but the thing is if it's annoying or making you sad anyway that you're not doing it or you don't have something why not let yourself just get seriously pissed off about it for a bit because what happens to so many people and this was me for a long time is they're uncomfortable or upset about something but never to the point where it actually makes them do something about it especially nowadays where it's so easy to distract yourself and this can last decades you probably know at least one person who's you know middle-aged and still talking about how they want to lose weight at some point and they've still not done anything about it because whilst it makes him a bit sad it's never this real burning desire that would cause them to actually act on it and so let's go through three things they could do to change that first is what Barrow did where he visualizes where he's going to end up and to be honest I personally found that this is the weakest of the fre options just when I go through these you'll probably agree but the issue with this is if it doesn't already scare you and you feel like you need to avoid that F thinking about it more it probably isn't going to change that right right so secondly he can compare himself to others which again as I said at the start this isn't something you want to do longterm because it's just not healthy right especially if you compare yourself people online because it's all so fake but honestly seeing someone else have what you want is pretty motivating and I think a great example is chiger in that team W vers team Zed match he has this desire to get back to that excitement and joy he wants have had and as he watches a Sagi he starts to realize oh I'm going to lose that if I don't do something right now and the extra urgency is very useful as well but I'll come back to that but that desire became a need because he saw someone else with what he wanted right in front of him and CH is also a great example because in his case that need causes him to discard things which aren't as important in his case it was his fear of injuring himself again for most people itd caus him to discard the distractions right you know you stop caring about these less important things that at the moment you're happy to spend so much time on because you don't really have the desire to do anything else but honestly the best thing you could do is just put some form of external pressure on yourself going back to the weightless example what if that person signs thems up for half marathon they don't have a choice but to get in shape and start running that way especially if they tell lots of people they're doing it or even better you know how people do those charity fundraisers when they run marathons where they share a link and all their friends donate right if they did one of those there is absolutely zero backing out of it and I'm not saying Co live on this Stree so you have that external pressure to make money or anything like silly either but find some way to add a bit of exteral pressure to yourself and you'd probably agree actually that the warning I gave at a start this video doesn't really apply to that last example it's actually by far the healthiest of the options just you know create some Stakes for yourself so that was kind of Click F now I think about it don't hate me bro I'm sorry but anyway as I mentioned earlier urgency is really key with this because if the pressure only kicks in after 5 years it's not going to do anything to you right it needs to be sort of a few months Max but if you can find some way to add some form of external pressure to yourself it will really help you get the momentum going and chances are you'll just carry on afterwards so thank you very much for watching and a huge thank you to our two new patreons Ryan lug and chaki canoe I'm really sorry if I pronounced that wrong bro hope you found this video useful and see you again soon
