ancient Romans did not use ketchup this was actually their condiment of choice this is called garam and it's made by Sun fermenting fish intestines with salt and sometimes herbs and spices which are then pressed slowly over time to get this fish juice this stuff is said to have a super rich Savory Umami flavor that I guess our toga wearing buddies used to really dig ancient Romans would gleak this stuff all over their meats their vegetables their grains anything right it's a condiment thing is I've never tried it so let's let's do it let's do this together yeah I really don't want to just like pull this from the bottle so we're going to make an omelette and when I say omelette I mean just like a soft [Music] scramble smells like fish sauce just a little bit maybe just a little more freshy I want to taste it it's really good
