An Idiot's Skills/Abilities Guide to GUNBREAKER!!! | FFXIV

hello so you just saw the shadowbringers trailer and you saw thankgrid and his awesome gunblade and you think to yourself i want a gunblade like that so you became a gunbreaker gunbreaker is a really cool tank that uses a gunblade and starts at level 60. gunfire is one of the coolest tanks in the game their aesthetic is super cool and they have some really flashy abilities overall though gumbreaker isn't that difficult to pick up and learn so let's check it out let's start with your main combo which is keen edge into brutal shell which will restore a little hp and give you a small shield then it's a solid barrel which will give you a cartridge your aoe combo will consist of demon slice then into demon slaughter which will also give you a cartridge you also have your range attack lightning shot you'll be able to hold two cartridges at first but will be able to hold three cartridges at level 88 with your cartridges you're able to execute a few powerful abilities at level 76 you'll unlock blood fest which will give you two or three cartridges depending on how many you can hold with one cartridge you can use dashing fang which is the start of your cartridge combo gnashing fein will be replaced with each combo action the combo itself is gnashing fang into savage claw then into wicked talon you can also spend a cartridge on burst strike which is a strong single target attack at level 72 you'll learn faded circle which costs one cartridge and is a strong aoe attack and at level 90 you'll unlock double down which costs 2 cartridges and is an insanely powerful aoe attack at level 70 you'll unlock continuation which will allow you to use some extra abilities each move of your cartridge combo will change continuation to a different move fang will change it to jugular rip savage claw will change it to abdomen tear and wicked talon will change it to eye gouge you'll want to use each of these abilities in order to not miss out on damage at level 86 burst strike will change continuation to hyper velocity faded circle and double done unfortunately don't have anything tied to continuation no mercy will increase your damage dealt by 20 for 20 seconds rough divide is gunbreaker's gap closer which you have two charges of danger zone is an off global single target attack that gets upgraded to blasting zone at level 80. sonic break is a single target damage over time while bow shock is an aoe damage over time that applies to all nearby enemies gun breakers have a lot of mitigation tools that can be applied to yourself and other party members they're essentially really good at keeping everyone and themselves alive besides your role actions you also have nebula which will reduce your damage taken by 30 for 15 seconds camouflage will increase your parry rate by 50 percent and also reduce damage taken by 10 aurora will give yourself or another party member a small regen for 18 seconds you'll get a second charge of aurora at level 84. heart of light will reduce you and the party's magic damage taken by 10 for 15 seconds heart of stone will reduce damage taken by 15 on either yourself or another party member this move has a neat effect where if you have your shield from brutal shell up when you use it it'll give the party member the same shield for 30 seconds at level 82 heart of stone will upgrade to heart of corundum similar to warriors blood wedding part of corundum will give two additional buffs one of them will reduce damage taken by another 15 for four seconds while the other is similar to scholars excogition if your hp falls below 50 or the timer expires which is 20 seconds by the way it'll give a strong heal super bowline is gunbreaker's invulnerability move when you use it your hp will fall to 1 and you'll become invulnerable to almost any attack for 10 seconds but yeah that basically sums up gun breaker so bye hey everybody thanks for watching if you liked the video consider subscribing to the channel and if you didn't know i stream on twitch i don't have a consistent schedule yet but i do stream me leveling classes or just whenever i'm bored i also have a discord where i announce whenever i go live on twitch whenever i upload a video or just to talk to you guys links are in the description below
