an AI created This Minecraft Texture Pack

all right what up everybody it's me lock.zip and check out this texture pack it's one of the weirdest things i've ever seen i found it on reddit some reddit user known as kamento let us know that he used some kind of artificial intelligence image upscaling software to make of all things texture pack in minecraft no seriously it's pretty wacky and ai made this texture pack and we're going to be looking at it in today's video because things start to get extremely weird with it we check out some of the mobs they're really creepy we get to some of the items alongside a lot of the blocks and there's a lot to take in but on top of that which i got some cool biomes structures and honestly it's just creepy but you should watch now if you want to download this texture pack for yourself it's going to be in the description of today's video i've linked to common toes video on youtube which has the download link and what we're about to see is my initial reaction to installing this texture pack okay we just loaded in the resource pack right now it took like a minute and a half to load in something's up here oh gosh it looks like a horror film or something look at the what's up with the text you can definitely see where the ai scales it up because it's kind of got that dirty boy look to it it's trademark don't steal that yeah everything looks alien and look you can see all the pixelated things got smoothed out like look at the earth over here that's awesome hold on go to the dentist everybody seriously you heard it from minecraft all right let's check out a world though huh all right our ai world is about to be loaded in oh i'm kind of nervous to be honest kind of worried about my computer i had a warning pop up saying texture is not loaded ooh see look we kind of hitting that lag game oh my gosh whoa look at the look at the sun look at the clouds oh this really is upscaled so apparently this has been upscaled from the 16 by 16 normal texture pack using ai oh no i don't want to be anywhere near you when i'm talking using some kind of ai software they scaled up all the textures from 16 by 16 to 1024 by 1024 although this is a scaled-down version of the 1024 to 256 so that my computer doesn't entirely poop to bed it's pretty bad right now and so are some of these well i don't see the textures are bad it just feels so alien it just feels really odd i'm just looking around it's like it's almost like a mix of borderlands on this this is what a computer thinks minecraft should look like they got the sides of the dirt pretty good but then you look at the top what happened here seriously they they had like a heart attack they're like yeah we get the size of the blocks right but you know you're on your own with the top of that grass look at the dead bushes look at this anyways we got a few different things we're gonna be looking at the menus the text and game itself we're gonna look at the actual world for a little bit we're gonna show off the mobs some of the items hit some biomes maybe add some shaders or check out some amplified worlds and then we're going to touch base on a special resource pack world so we've got a few different things to look at i'm going to find some interesting places to check out first of all hardest menu to navigate ever all of the text looks so it's just i don't even know if this is on or off right now i may just crash my minecraft again oh gosh we may be in trouble all right here's a village we can look at huh look at the crops they look like they're growing blueberries or something i don't know if i'd eat that and see look this is an idea of the ai it like does its best to take 16 by 16 textures and blow them up almost a thousand times the original size it's kind of insane now some of the blocks are missing the newer blocks from 1.14 for the most part but you can see everything else is pretty hideous the animals haven't seen any cows yet actually in fact whoa what what happened to is this a horse look at the horse dude uh yeah something's not right about this guy the cows look terrifying as well and then here's the villager look part of his texture is that what's going on look part of his texture the hat made it but the face is still looking the same okay sure i read you dude oh you're just admiring this flower yeah i mean i don't blame you look at it it's really nice how about the ocean huh not gonna lie a little sad the kelp didn't make it the ships are fine because they're made of blocks that oh look at this chest looks like someone tried to break it open with an axe or something there's like parts of it they're halfway broken through now what do we have in here let me see oh buried treasure map and some gross detective paper what are we in the x-files or something look at this nonsense how about the treasure maps the treasure maps they don't have the texture on it either sorry robots not smart enough yet to take over the humans can't even skin a texture pack right it's kind of sad they did get the turtles though it's so weird some 1.13 blocks aren't in but the turtles made it you know those eyes oh i don't know look oh this is cool check out the item menu so many different blocks let's be curious to see if we could pick out the ones that haven't been updated i see a couple of them but most of them appear to be yeah affected we'll call it huh the coral made it out alive how about the scaffolding that the scaffolding make it out alive what do you look like buddy yeah you're safe oh look at the compass look at the compass it looks like i'm holding a van gogh painting do you love this i like the movement on it it looks it literally looks like a painting or something we're gonna use the clock in the nether here obsidian looks very creepy like it's almost like space ah we're making the model from 2001 a space odyssey i am a big fan i'm curious what fire looks like yeah i made the cut okay that's just as well portals look the same too let's check out the nether hopefully i don't crash there's a really laggy texture pack all right here we are and look at the clock the clock is going insane oh my gosh that's so funny hold on a second let's explore this place what are the little pigs look like oh wow this one's eager huh okay calm down you'll have your moment on camera relax dude let me see that face that pretty face wow wow you free tonight baby just kidding stay away you're literally rotting oh lava looks stupid i got like a accordion look yeah it looks like a gradient someone just learned photoshop hey congratulations you finally got all that searching for shareware paid off huh now look at all this stuff see i don't like the netherrack the netherrack reminds me of organs it it it looks like a nice liver it looks like a nice pile of livers if anyone needs one just download this texture pack the operation will go fine just kidding i'm not more but i promise they really reload now i did hear a gas though they uh honey let's see that pretty face oh weird oh man he looks like a wrinkled wonder it looks like someone didn't fold their laundry right after it came out of the dryer yeah you need to learn how to take care of your clothing dude actually how's mine okay we're good here we go baby let's see the dimage i'm curious the bricks yikes it's weird it kind of looks like it's like uh sediments like ancient layers oh wow those smoke particles look hilarious what do the blazes look like i can hardly make them out with all the smoke particles all over the place how you guys doing seriously can we get a nice look at your face for once let's see what do you look like huh what you all about yeah it's too much smoke but i heard a wither skeleton nearby where'd he go hello there what are you about oh is that the front of your face dude that is really gross that's like really scary actually oh i gotta get a little better look at him all right handsome man your own private island with your friends and with people you don't know i suppose it's not really a private island yeah this is very creepy his rib cage oh my gosh no thanks all right let's check out some mobs oh these mop eggs they look like saturday morning cartoons oh i love it all right some mob spider all right wow what happened to his face looks like he got stuck in a tie-dye contest or something that is really creepy actually this is what the ai thick spiders look like watch out seriously the bots are coming for us whoa he's like i'm out of here dude look at your face he kinda looks angry you know what it reminds me of sonic the hedgehog he's got like one single eye his eyebrow just doesn't come all the way through man well i'll tell you what they call disappear because it's nighttime pretty cool costume though let's check out wolves wolves oh yeah you're gross as well i mean they're all kind of gross i think we should just kind of get past that point but it's kind of hard to vindicators whoa look at those brows give me a run for my money baby hold on a second look can you do this though um that's right you see he walked away he just stand a chance against that slimes interesting to see how they would interpret a transparent block looks like it worked for the most part but look at the little babies in it so plus it's easier to see them on the desert okay so slimes still adorable despite robots having taken over their entire creation process how about tropical fishies gross gross all well actually it's like a beautiful gross you know i forgot though they all need water so they're more than likely going to die very soon this is nothing personal guys i'm just using you for views on youtube parrots check it out look at your own ikea bird look at some of these mops cutie pies i like the color combo they all look a little extra rainbow compared to normal where are you going baby how about these phantoms phantoms are the true scariest mob now imagine if this is what was flying down at you whenever you weren't getting to sleep on time seriously phantoms are gonna become like bedtime stories for kids and the little boys stayed up too late the phantoms got him maybe the creepers or what you should be worried about instead though oh my gosh look at you this is literally nightmare fuel all right let's check out a newer mob panda pandas wow you're kind of adorable they're literally adorable oh my gosh wow you finally did something good for once ai oh he looks like he's pouting oh wow i like these ones and there's tons of different panda variants maybe we can get our hands on a couple of the different looking ones most of them look pretty normal what about you are you playful no you're just another sick one i mean they all look kind of sick to be honest most of them uh seen better days how about this guy the ravager have you been updated yeah you're very creepy yo it looks like his teeth are rotting gross every single blocks got like blues and greens added to it i assume it has something to do with the way they scale up how about some mushrooms uh ultimate borderlands highlight looks like most of the texture didn't make the cut in fact llamas whoa what do you mean what you look like a bird well he looked like something i don't know if it's a bird but okay i'll leave you alone he's getting his spit ready how about the foxes interesting yeah they mostly look the same there let's check out drowns drowns ah you got skipped over hate when that happens enderman what do enderman look like whoa creepy wow and you can see their mouth for once i never noticed where the enderman's mouth is because of that you can kind of they almost have a frown on their face wow very very spooky how about kitty cats lots of different kitty cats wow hey people rejoice you're not have pet options that all look like they've been pooped on there's really only one more mob to show off that's important to this ai system and it happens to be the one that looks like an ai glitching out right now look at this ugly little baby i'll tell you i actually like the highlight on it that looks really cool to be honest he had like a nice i don't know he looked anime to me but anyways let's show you some of the items this woodland mansion here has got plenty for us to look at first check out some of these combat items and hold on a second shout out to the item frames they look like the ultimate tanned leather now like there's some serious depth to these just kidding it's entirely 2d it's a printed on texture pay attention but anyways look at this this is a stone sword you got your boy diamond right here with that green yellow blue glow i don't know why the ai systems managed to scale up that color i assume maybe it has something to do with the pixel types that computers use but either way it's still really creepy here's what a shield looks like but over here we've got some of your armor types man i i don't know like i'm kind of sold on the style it's really cool of course with your leather armor you can still dye things we got those red boots looking fancy blue jeans yellow jacket watch out that outfit's gonna sting sorry and then a green helmet hilarious though right but check out the gems diamonds um shine bright emeralds quartz now this quartz actually looks like real quartz like it this looks like more like it's in real life than it is in minecraft anymore at this point so it's funny that the ai turned a pixel item into something that looks kind of real cole here again you can really see the depth on these things it's kind of impressive oh oops didn't notice uh redstone lap is absolutely it's there's nothing there but the gold and the iron it kind of reminds me of like an ink blot test you know with the weird designs of rorschach test something i don't know how to say it but check out these just glowy items that i happen to like and some end ones shulker shell eye of ender i have sauron is really what it looks like uh crumbled wings of destiny i'm not gonna be flying anymore they look really wrinkled oh my goodness this is an end crystal we've got a regular old netherstar right here that looks fancy that looks like some kind of ancient gothic painting sure whatever and then this looks like a chicken scratch drawing someone doodled this in their composition notebook i like the glow on it though the glow's kind of weird looks a little flashier than it normally does here's some of the blocks from the before the items i can't speak today i think the ai's it's getting to me but check it out diamond blocks emerald blocks really looks it really looks hand-drawn i am a fan we've got quartz actually that kind of looks like real quartz as well like an actual block of quartz hanging out wow fancy boys block of coal for the naughty boys we've got gosh that kind of looks like a that looks like a really creepy painting almost like a really creepy painting like in a graveyard or something but maybe i'm just seeing things that shouldn't be blocked we got a gold block and of course the iron blocks kind of looks like a white picket fence it's a little different we go with that huh but the food that's what we really want to go with check these out now i wanted to grab all of the different textures that looked mostly uh we'll call it the most interesting like that actually looks like a textured carrot if you look closely enough we got cookies carrots beetroot pies cakes that looks like a lovely painting like that looks like a painting right there good work ai it's going to put all the artists out of business to be perfectly honest with you but apples over here we got some brewing supplies brewing stand cauldron looks nice kind of looks like one of those russian hats that they wear is it the british i don't know i'm uncultured what can i say play minecraft all day just kidding my cup's awesome blaze powder potions magma cream and yes this is actually a rabbit's foot i don't know how many all would have guessed that but i didn't give you the chance to sorry about that now over here we've got foliage beautiful bob ross in minecraft the ultimate crossover top 10 anime crossovers literally this looks like his paintings this is great work now speaking of foliage we also have over here flower pot all different flower types you could literally hang these in your house make it look like a painting no one would notice any different this kind of looks like a sonic ring i guess you know the movie's coming out pretty soon you know you could probably get away with it we got some mob drops feathers ooh look at this guy dude he looks cool that reminds me the yu-gi-oh card uh dark hole black hole i don't remember string leather bones we got that flesh what is this one again prismarine crystals i think yeah pretty much incredible and then tools relax shears clinton steel and you already saw the compass in the clock earlier all right let's see what this computer did to the biomes we'll start with the desert one looks ugly moving on hey little guy it's winter time which means it's time to forage there's meat to be in here's the winter wonderland i guess it's kind of plain i like that the snowflakes are also kind of creepy looking yeah they kind of look like the floaters that pop up in your eyes sometimes you know i'm talking about the little squigglies that appear in your eyes that's the vibe i'm getting here oh well something wasn't ready for the vines it's weird because the vine item does have an updated texture but when placed in block form it looks a little odd we'll call it and these aren't even scaled up these are just plain old black and pink squares now where's the hut i wonder if there's a witch home yes there is oh oh wow look at that face it's only a mother could love the kitty cat oh he the witch like my joke anyways let's get another glimpse that mug oh my gosh someone did you wrong in life no wonder you live in a swamp how's shrek doing and look at that wart oh wow offended oh bothered her i'm sorry i didn't mean it seriously the robot wow you're you're you're you're heartless man i guess that makes sense all right now final look today is going to be with shaders sorry q magnet matt didn't make the cut but check this oh gosh that was a stroke of lag i kind of like the look of it with the shaders on although it's a little too dark right now ah much better the sun is shining ooh it's really bright to be honest with you but i like the shader look and looks like our boys actually he looks like he's mad at everything that's ever existed specifically but look at all this i like the waviness i really do i forgot if i mentioned this already also because my computer crashed like 10 times recording this the ai is after me by the way but i really get like yoshi's island yoshi story vibes i love the highlights it looks really cool and the slight wave little jiggle to it it really makes it feel cool like believe it or not this is a cool looking texture pack i wasn't expecting that i mean hey robot overlords please spare me when you eventually decide to take over you know you need someone to play minecraft for you
