Almosta Farm - Harvesting Carrots, Potatoes, and Sugar Beets | Farming Simulator 19

welcome back everybody driver 53 here and we're on our muster farm again being some root crop specialists so i just got done dropping off well selling some crops and what we sold was just some of our grain we had a little bit left over in the silo so we went ahead and took care of it and got a little bit of a buffer here so we made about 45 000 but now we're gonna come down over here park this nice semi right about here and we're going to start harvesting some more carrots we got a bunch of carrots that we need to get off this field right here so let's go ahead and run over here to the harvester look at these things they are beautiful so we had two carrot fields to start with and this is the second one here um we got some other crops we gotta take care of today too so we're gonna go and start this bad boy up right here i'm gonna go ahead and switch over to the other view there we go oh i guess i need to unfold it first here we go i forgot to have to unfold or fold it up every time i go through all the woods all right so we got this thing unfolded now there we go fire it up and back away a little bit so it's not as loud and here we go so i'm just going to go straight through the first time and then we'll clean up this other edge over here but how's everybody doing today are you guys excited about the announcement i know you guys know the announcement i'm talking about farming simulator 22 everybody that's right now i wanted to bring it up in this video because giants said new crops what kind of crops do you guys think we're going to be getting is it stuff that we already know that we already have seen in the game or could it possibly be something that we have never ever had before in game me i'm really hoping that we get some more root crops here i'm really hoping the giants give some love to carrots and onions they've already proven for us console players that it can be done um even if it's a little bit more modified equipment i'm totally fine with that i mean by modified i mean like a little bit different stuff right other than what we're using right now make it a little bit more realistic if it truly is realistic in real life but i think that would be a really really cool addition to see a little bit more of this root crop available to us console players at least um i know pc players you guys can get just about any craft there is in the world it seems like but for us console players i mean this map here almost a farm or yeah almost a farm is going to be getting an update i know the cavs did the update already to rustic acres he said those same crops are going to be coming over here so really really super excited about that some of you guys already been playing on um oh what is it lazy acres has already gotten a lot of crops so it's it's a great time to be a console player and i'm really really looking forward to what giants announces for the new crops um i like i said i really really hope it's some stuff like this i mean i've got some ideas on what i would like to see but i want to hear what you guys have to say what new crops would you guys really really like to see and maybe make it some stuff that we haven't played with yet i think that'd be cool too i mean who knows maybe somebody giants is watching one of these videos i mean i'm not saying they are but if they ever did here's a chance let me know in the comments what you guys think so we are going to finish up a couple more swaths here really really quickly and then we will uh get over to the other side here probably put a worker because i'm gonna need to jump into the semi and get a little bit more or get some of this unloaded and i love that color absolutely love that color that's in this harvester the the orange in there beautiful and with these red sides it just blends so well yeah i think what we're gonna do is run her over to the other side i'm gonna throw a little bit more of a headland and then when i'm unloading this i will uh come back and grab you guys all right so here we are gonna go ahead and start picking up this carrot it should empty pretty fast if it's consistent like the other ones do yeah there we go and then we're going to let this worker just go to town all right are we empty yeah we're good we're good all right wow we got 47 000 liters in there already now one interesting thing i want to go ahead and show you guys what the um yield map looks like so let's jump over you can see right here now you may be like driver that's not really that good man well there's a reason why it's not that good and that reason is right here soil types it's not that good of a field it's really really not there's absolutely zero loam in this field we've only got a small area right in the middle that is sandy low which we all know is 100 and then silty clay is 90 and then lonely sand is 80. so not the best best field but since it's number 53 i wanted to go and grab it um we do have some other ones let me go ahead and toggle over here and i'll show you guys what other fields we own we'll zoom out just a little bit we on these two right here and these two we're going to be working on here shortly they're ready to be harvested too as you can see they are sugar beets and potatoes and then down over here we have another one of sugar beets so we have two sugar beef fields and one potato field so super super excited about getting ready to harvest those but i think the first thing that we're going to do is we're going to run back over to the farm and grab a tractor really quickly with a plow on it so that we can start taking care of this field and then once we sell this and maybe something else we might be looking at upgrading in a piece of equipment i know we talked about it before but i really think we're going to sell off one of our tractors and we're going to upgrade just a little bit give us a little bit more power so we can pull something a little bit more powerful and get through or something more you know with width so that we can actually get through these fields a little bit faster so let me go grab that and we'll be right back all right here we are we are going to go ahead and finish emptying this guy out right here i hope hope i can fit all of this in here i'm not sure we may have to run over to the farm unload once and then come back and it does not look like it wow all right so we have 70 000 liters let's go ahead and take a look and see where we can sell this at real quick so for carrots we need to go all the way across all the way there we go so it looks like 409 at honest news ooh 438 at lucas 438 at lucas um i say let's take that i mean we do have a little bit back ooh that's something else we could do yeah let's deliver these carrots and then we will unload again and then pick up so i can just take the harvester over that's what i'm gonna do yep so i'm gonna go ahead and take this over to lucas um i'm pretty sure it's right off the main road so we gotta go this way anyway but i will see you guys over there and then we will grab oh that's not a real road i thought that was a road so we'll i'll i'll get over there somehow how about we say that and then i'll uh i'll let you guys see whenever we're uh selling it all off because we are definitely gonna have some uh some decent money after we do this so i'll see you guys over there all right so here we are at lucas if we can make it in the fence oh driver's going back to old driver ways getting stuck see if we can't swing this out just a little bit more here it's a little bit longer trailer than the last time we were in here crank it crank it there no here we go we gonna make it now all right perfect it's about the biggest trailer i'd want to bring in here all right so let's sell this off let's see how much we're going to make all right it's going up it's climbing anyway 70 000 liters in here it's gonna be a pretty good payday pretty good payday you guys think about fifty thousand fifty five thousand oh i was oh i was thinking seven hundred now yeah where are we up so thirty 31 000. still in a bad he gets this close to being able to buy a new tractor oh we might just come in this way next time but what i'm gonna do is i went ahead and asked the uh the worker to bring the harvester back over to the main farm here and he should have already had it back we should be able to fill up with what he put in the harvest or in the uh silo and with what we already had in there from before so we're going to cross this real gently this time it's a little bit longer trailer i don't want to get crossed up all right we are good we are good all right so we'll undo the cover we're going to pull over here yeah they're back and we've already got the header switched over too that's awesome all right so let's load up with some carrots where's it at where's carrots i should have went the other way holy cow there we go all right so carrots 20 000 liters it's not going to be a crazy amount but we don't have any other carrots anywhere on the farm at all that we need to harvest so we're going to go and take this over get it done get that bigger piece of equipment and then figure out what we want to do and every little bit's going to help right now like i said earlier we're at 180 almost right now so let me get this sold and then we will uh meet you guys up at this other potato field with the harvester well everybody i forgot that we needed to plow this field really quick i'm gonna run around do a little bit of a headland here and then we're going to get back over to that other field y'all this is a really really this is my best tractor so far this is the uh t6 180 something i believe um it's just not powerful enough i need something closer to 300 is what i really really want to be at for these fields that way i can haul something that's a little bit wider and um not have to worry about it i mean this thing's not bad six seven miles an hour so we uh we're definitely gonna get something a little bit better put some duals on it maybe keep up with that white but i think what i'm gonna do is go ahead and get rid of the little bitty new holland tractor and then we will uh oh how do i raise oh there we go um and then we will uh get something a little bit on the nicer side i know that i mean what i'm looking at is probably going to be 160 180 000 so hopefully after the sugar beets after the potatoes that's when we're gonna do it um maybe before maybe but let me get this little bit of a headland right here on these edges done and then we're gonna throw a worker on this and get up there to that other field and uh rocking on potatoes i'm excited those fields up there a little bit better um just a little bit so yeah i'll see you guys up there how about a little end cab for these potatoes right let's go ahead and lower this thing down here there we go so this is a nice potato feel that we have it's decent size a little bit of a weird edge up here it kind of goes up into nothing but i thought it was going to be really really cool to put potatoes on and if you guys can see down in the mini-map i left it on here for you you can see what we got last time out of this for yield and what we're getting this time so it's green everybody that's awesome i like it when it's green on the yields so what we're gonna do we're gonna flip around here really quick and try and go around and watch my mini-map down there to make sure i don't hit the tree and we're going to clean up this edge too and then we'll come back by probably do another pass on these and then we'll start going back and forth up and down up and down that way it kind of keeps me away from these trees a little bit right here but i figured why not just go ahead and do this whole field right here in first person that'd be a lot of fun i don't do that very much anymore and uh i mean i guess we could take a little tour here while we're at it well no how about we wait a little bit we can kind of look around but i'm nervous to look around too much and miss and go off in the middle of the field 19 degrees i wonder what that means that can't be temperature can it hmm what do you guys think should i expand this field out a little bit or should we kind of keep it where it's at i mean i could expand out a little bit on this and not lose i mean too much mobility the way that we're gonna harvest it i think we could probably do it get over a little bit closer to those trees right there that would work wouldn't it so how about that how about you guys let me know should i make this field right here just a little bit wider this time whenever we plow it i'm thinking about doing that down to field 53 also since it's such a bad yield i really want to go ahead and maximize my space there or i could sell it i've been thinking about selling it too i mean i like having 53 but if it's not a really good field we could sell it um i think we have enough other fields that we could be all right or we could pick up something closer to this uh other field that's out here by itself we can kind of get something relatively closer to the shop yeah let's look at that let's look at that idea whenever we get over there we'll take a look at that and see if we should buy something closer to that field um this field right over here is going to be a lot of fun to harvest i can tell you that it's a circle a perfect circle everybody so really really excited about getting over there but what i'm going to do is i'm going to start going back and forth and while i do we are going to take a really quick tour of the inside of this harvester because i don't think i've actually ever done that before and i really liked doing that on some of my earlier videos so what we're going to do is go ahead and set crews here there we go i'm going to make sure that we're going in somewhat of a straight line so that we're not going to hit these trees how about that right there there we go all right so what do we got over here we got the nice joystick we got it looks like speed dial maybe right there we've got some buttons inside the steering column got some more stuff over here oh does the header go side to side that's cool i mean i don't know what the 19 degrees is i'm i'm look at all those lights look at all those lights everybody that is crazy got a radio maybe an ac that's good a little bit of storage up there nice this thing's not bad not bad at all we're gonna spin around right here come back the other way let's get lined up here a little bit here we go turn this back ooh turn it on did i miss some i think we'll be all right all right so we are on and going all right so right there cruise let's finish off this little tour got a nice monitor it's not on though i get that look bad but that one's on that one's doing good dude i think we missed a little bit i just i don't see a cup holder though everybody i'm sad no cup holder what are we supposed to do with our drinks yeah no no cup holder all right i don't i don't think we're gonna get one of these on all the other farms nope but let me keep doing this everybody i'll uh show you all the important stuff along the way we're gonna keep working over there in the other field getting that one harvested or not high receiving plowed probably gonna go a little bit bigger on that and if we do we're probably going to expand it out i don't know if i'll take you guys along for the ride because i don't know if that's the most entertaining thing but i will definitely show you if we do what it looks like at the end so we'll see you then all right so here we are and we went ahead and sold the potatoes um made some pretty decent money as you can see we're up to 210 000. we should definitely be able to get any tractor i want but we're going to go ahead and start here on the sugar beets and we're gonna do this one from outside the cab for a little bit i just need to get a little bit of a headland here like two strips up and down it's a really really awkward field it really really is we might sell this one too um and then get something a little bit bigger over closer to the main farm i've been thinking about that quite a bit if we uh let me put on the cruise here and i'll show you which one i'm thinking about getting so i've got an interesting one that i want to get number 22 right here or maybe number 18. i really want to stay kind of closer um so those are two options i like 22 because it has something in the middle it's still a challenge for me um but i don't know i just i don't know yet what we want to do i'm gonna look we might go and expand out south a little bit more there's a little bit bigger fields down there that are decent on the soil composition too that we can uh definitely use to our advantage for soil types um so those i mean it's let me just let me get a bigger tractor and then we'll figure out what we're gonna do with these two pieces of property because this one is honestly gonna be a little bit of a pain it was it was tough to heart to uh plant because it's so offset right a worker won't work at this angle on consoles so it's just tricky it really really is i might have to do this one all by myself um because the workers are going to leave those triangles at the ends of everything i'm sure of it absolutely sure of it so i don't think it's going to take too long as long as i can keep doing big strips like this that are wide i think we'll be all right so let me keep going with this and whenever we get done well i'll i'll show you a fill up see if we're gonna sell or keep it and then uh we got that circle one still i want to get that circle one done um and then get moving on to the next thing so i'll be back well i i thought that i sold everything um we still have a little bit of potatoes in here and i need this trailer to unload the sugar beets because we got it completely full so we're gonna sell this right here and see exactly how much we make i mean we are definitely definitely going to be in a really really good position for a new tractor 221 now man this is awesome absolutely awesome and we still have two more fields that we're gonna need to sell so where do we need to go from here where is this field at it looks like it's right that way hold on let me pull up the mini map oh yeah so it's gonna be this way i haven't been to this other field a whole lot lately yeah it's just past this tree line i can see the harvester down there now all right so that's what we're gonna do we're gonna pull in down here unload and then we're gonna keep on harvesting so i'm not able to get a worker on this one at all it's way too tricky um but we're gonna make it work look how fast that unloads all these sugar beets what's price on sugar bee right now so price on sugarbee right now best price is 247. i don't think that's awesome no we might we might store this let's go ahead and turn this off we're gonna hop out jump back over here in the harvester and uh keep on going there we go turn that on bring that in put that down and there we go and i've been thinking a little bit more i definitely am going to get rid of these two fields i uh i don't know why i plowed the other one um you know once i really started thinking about it i want to get not a square field all right but i want to get something that's a little bit easier to work with i definitely do especially if we want to get some bigger equipment working around trees and things like that with big equipment just isn't a whole lot of fun so we're going to get something a little bit bigger still not sure which one i want to get let's um set cruise here and look one more time all right so let's look at this we've got a couple options down here so how much is this worth this field is 174 and this one is 113 so almost three hundred thousand can i get this one ooh 262 but it's not really good what about that one no that one's not horrible i don't know i'm gonna keep looking around maybe something right across how much is that one ooh it's a little bit too much but yeah i don't know about that one well it's such a tough decision it honestly is with everything that we none of the fields around here are really really awesome cass did a really good job of mixing everything up on the soil types so none of these have an absolute advantage um we're killing some crops aren't we i got a feeling maybe we didn't but we're uh we're gonna be wrapping up on this one really really soon and then heading up to the circle field so i uh i'll let you guys know exactly how much we get off this field and then we'll uh get up to that one and here we are getting ready to unload the harvester into the tipper so the tipper we know is seventy thousand we've got twenty thousand three hundred seventy two we got ninety thousand leaders off of this field right here let's take a look again at soybean prices or not soybean holy cow sugar bee prices looks like 247 is still our best deal i don't think it's great though so we're gonna go ahead and store this because i really really like that i mean what is it 286 256. yeah it needs to come up a little bit because i mean if i'm losing 10 dollars i mean 10 off 90 is actually only 900 dollars you know with a whole other field where's that port warehouse and that's quite of a drive too so yep we're gonna store it all right so what i'm gonna do i'm gonna leave this guy right here for a little bit we're gonna go jump in this take off and we're gonna take this just back to the the farm the really interesting thing about this field that i really really like is it connects almost directly to the farm we've got this nice road that goes all the way through most of these fields and if you remember the very first video where i was coming in the back way to the farm that's this road right here so it's really really cool it's not really needed so if i wanted to technically i could buy all of these fields and get rid of this road and just make all of this one big field for me but i take down trees and stuff like that so i don't know not too keen on it i was looking a little bit more in that first field that we looked at that big rectangular one i know it's only like 96 yield but that's like honestly the best field around here so i think that's the one we're gonna go with um it's about the same price so we wouldn't be really losing a whole lot uh and i just tried to take out that tractor didn't i we wouldn't be losing a whole lot of money um by selling the two and getting that you know technically we could do it right now you know what let's do it right now so yes we are completely harvested on field 25 over here so perfect let's go ahead we're going to select it and sell it so 113. okay here we go cell yes all right now next we want to go ahead and sell this area select it sell it there we go perfect now this one right here like i said it's only 97 but that is honestly one of the best fields around here it's right next close to the farm i can get there relatively easy um so yeah let's buy it there we go and we still have 247 left absolutely perfect now what we need to do is get over there i think we're probably gonna need to get it plowed let's uh take a look here doesn't need plowing no but is it ready to harvest ooh it is and what are we going to have on it oats all right we can get some straw too let's do that but first since it's not all the way to growth state yet i mean it's just it just got into harvest so i think what i want to do is i'm going to go ahead and come up here we're definitely going to take care of field 34. um and then we'll get that detractor how about that all right field 34 and then new tractor because we have enough money now we don't need what's in the silo uh to be able to do that so i will see you guys up there at the circle field all right this is gonna be my favorite field yet i think because it's a circle it's an absolutely perfect ish circle and it sugar beats again so pretty good money here hopefully um once that price comes up we can then take all of this over to the sell point um but yeah it's um this is gonna take a bit i think what i'm going to do though is i think i'm going to go ahead and do like two turns around here if it'll let me get even that full i mean we're already at 10 11 or 12 right now so i'm gonna do full two full rotations around and then we're gonna go get that tractor and i'm gonna put a worker in here i think once i get two we should be able to get the worker going back and forth and be all right so i really wish that you guys could see like what straw looks like on this because it's really cool to see the spiraling inward um but yeah we uh man i'm i'm getting excited about the uh the tractor that we're gonna get i think you guys are really really gonna like it um so yeah let me uh get on this a little bit more once we get around here a couple times and feel comfortable with the worker being able to take over then we'll be good to go so i'll be right back well everybody one last ride here in the new holland taking it over to the shop and we're going to trade it in i've got my eye on a really really nice tractor so here we are going to go ahead and put this guy right here there we go i'm gonna go ahead and turn it off and go ahead and hop out and then come right over here now i'm leaving it a little bit dirty hopefully they're not gonna mind too much we're gonna go and repair it yep so we're gonna get about almost 49 000 for it which is really nice for that small little tractor and if you guys can see we're going to be trading in the white also the adco ground chief here we go i like the duals on this one but it just once again it's just a little bit too small for what we want to do moving forward here so come over here repair yes about 31 awesome perfect all right so now let's look here in our garage what do we have so we have two tractors new hollands we have a t6 180 and a t6 145 so we've got 145 horsepower and 180 now i said i'd ultimately like to get up around 300 i think that's a really really good target for me so what are we going to get well we're going to come into medium tractors here and we're going to come over right here we're going to get the axion 8780 now base price is 184 000 we're going to go ahead and get it with midas tires and we're gonna get it with rear two ends it's gonna give me a lot of uh power grip i mean um so it might make up a little bit of a deficit for the loss in horsepower but on horsepower we're going to go ahead and start with 230 well you know what we made a little bit more on that let's go ahead and go to 250 250 is going to put me about where i want to go now i can upgrade this one also to 295 later but i don't want to do that right now i only want one or 250. so this is what we're going to get it's going to cost 214 500. we've got plenty we have plenty all right here we go yes oh look at that that is pretty i think kaz would be very very happy to see me running this tractor on this farm right here and listen to that oh that sounds really nice really nice but everybody we've got the worker going on at the other field we're going to let them keep working we're going to go and end this video today but with the next one we're going to be taking care of the oats harvest and probably gonna go and already have this one done i'll give you guys a little bit of a tally on what we got over there um we're not gonna sell it yet but we'll get started on that harvest and then we're gonna put this guy to work i got a feeling with 111 000 we need to go and upgrade our planter or cedar um so that we can have just a little bit bigger um equipment to make
