I would like to be known as the big Aristotle Shatford the big camera the big cactus the diesel as wild world champion easy [Applause] most valuable player in NBA all those skills are [Music] [Applause] because I want to talk about first impressions yeah what was your first impression of Shaquille O'Neal well this is almost like a rhino monitor kiss you know I know a couple of years ago I went to Africa to see a real rhino that's not much much any difference my first impression of yahwah's is this because he came in and I tried to hit him with a smooth finger or a block next player I tried to hit him with a fadeaway block and it's kind of tried to come up donk donk block first got it blocked my shot three times in a row so who's every first guy had to like change how I played against a man and he's also the first guy to get it turn around look at me right in the face he's just shoot right over me so that's what I thought of when I first thought oh yeah hey I want to ask about your first impression of Shaq on the court it's scary this is the dude though you know me even though you got that mentality you know this is that one that you that you really admire and and and respect as dominant on both ends of the court and I used to brag to my friends a lot and say you know like after we played the Lakers you know I get to the crib me like yo you seen our lady shot babe saying check trying to get that and I put that thing up off the glass on you know me and and that that that gave me added confidence to myself so whereas I felt like if I can screw over Shaq I just over anybody you don't mean because I wanted to be a little shot on the basketball court today's game let me ask you guys about today's game cuz it's gone smaller right hey I how do you think you would do in today's game 40 saying or worse or work for you same 4000 easily 40 we're gonna go to my question it would be a lot of people are shocked in the food I'll tell you that but if you look at if you look at it who now would be able to guard chatting yeah nobody nobody you know what I mean like look like the but but the the game is still a living it's still great is still soft what's your biggest concern with the game right now chef well I like the game you know we stood that LeBron stuff career us what those guys bring a lot but no far from from a big man standpoint we're not used to seeing big shoot three four four quarters maybe once a quarter and now that's all Simmons gonna do is just pick and pop just stretch I like I never heard strict floor strict file to my 18th year in the league but I'm used to seeing guys post up demand the ball spin lob stuff like that but now it's just make the guard and a forward player still fabulous LeBron and stuff they're old and down but that's a big guy watch other big guys this off yeah we'll start with you what was your most embarrassing moment on the court oh we're no Stephon Marbury across the hall baby fell pictures only picture I possibly my most embarrassing moment and like we like to play it off and one time I'm at the free-throw line and I shoot the air ball but instead of be a bear as I say we shut up a few air ball from the free-throw line I think I was guarding mokmou is what six one alright will you tell me what you think it was but I'm gonna practice let me do with no game you only know officially yeah but I'm so I thought you say in a game in a game I am that is I like this mini is later but we're talking about practice man what are we talking about practice we're talking about practice man we're talking about practice we're talking about practice were you talking about the game

Edit: also, Shaq suggests that the move to the outside game of centers is something the centers pushed for. Most centers I have seen have resisted the outside shift, but adapted to survive on the roster and for the playing time. Marc Gasol, for example, didn't eagerly embrace the 3, even though he has been one of the first good ones to do it, and even though he routinely did it in practices going back to the early 2010s. Others, too, weren't chomping at the bit to shoot the 3 in games. So Shaq's premise (unsurprisingly) is flawed and inaccurate.
