welcome back to sunrise the queen has made her first public appearance since prince philip's funeral for more i'm joined by seven news euro europe bureau chief hugh whitfield in london hugh what did her majesty get up to well kosher the official royal morning period is over so black is out the floral prints are back in for her majesty appearing to be smiling in a video hook-up between windsor castle where of course the monarch is based these days in buckingham palace where two new ambassadors were received it's tradition for new ambassadors to the court of st james here in london to have an audience with the monarch so they they get to visit the these days the palace but the queen appears on a screen and this time it was the new ambassadors from latvia and cote d'ivoire the ivory coast who got to drop by okay nice smile there isn't we wish her well um now will and kate we're on royal duty today and kate in the swing of things so to speak yeah the cambridges have been up in county durham they visited a farm that's been owned by the same family for the last five generations kate and william both climbed aboard a tractor kate even got to drive the tractor uh it wasn't too bad probably better than her golf swing she had to go swinging the clubs at a charity for kids with special needs missed that one got it a second go william also showed he's pretty handy with the golf clubs as well now this charity received funds from donations given by the public to william and kate's royal wedding gift fund it is 10 years since this week since william and kate were married at westminster abbey their anniversary is on thursday it is tin or aluminium so that would be where they're shifting with the with the gift okay all right good update all right hugh thank you for that [Music] you
