Oh [Music] [Music] happy birthday I don't have to milk right nope you don't - no today - thirteen so old and your favorite breakfast is still exploring yes well guys we flew right past spring and straight into summer because it feels really hot and summery we had all the dirt graded this morning and everything looks all nice and clean I'm sort of a perfectionist when it comes to dirt headlines and grading I need it to be just so can we go fix that thing should we go back to the video where I was like those hooks are gonna break and you're like no they want me think of those hooks will hold it no fun to get locked up hon you can come play with us come on there's well she just hopped around Fargo I was gonna feed her for like 22 seconds she does she lets her drink yeah gets her a little bit and then she'll be like all right gotta get some more kelp kelp is the favorite it is the favorite they kind of eat a lot of it the rule is you don't have to do any chores on your birthday so Lydia's inside playing video games while we sweat and die out here - I thinking Lydia has to have a birthday so I have to do all her stuff she's a hard worker we appreciate it I guess we feel for our kids now how much work they have to do out here every morning I mean we still do stuff too though right right sometimes oh that feels so good oh come sit in here Kevin this is gonna be so nice when 100 degrees or 120 degrees that day and we have to do the morning chores and then we can jump right into the pond yeah in the summer every morning we just wake up get wet go do the farm chores again yeah we're gonna basically live in swimming suits today's project is I've got to figure out what kind of deck design I want now they laid the most of the framework Kevin and our carpenter friend Mike pressures on now I've got to decide you know where do I want all the cuts so that's gonna be today's project figure out how the actual design of it will go all right I told Lydia you're actually in she needs to come see to make sure we're kind of decided on a really cool curve like that where the where the green hose is I think it gets up to a hundred right yesterday birthday swim [Music] [Music] I'm really into things called belugas apparently it's like the healthiest nut you could ever eat so how do you go take a hot shower because it got pretty cold in that pond after a while so I'm very hopeful that when we have our really high temperatures that the palm will still be relatively cool and if it's not then we're gonna put up probably a shade structure on this side you know Ralph told me that he built this little area right here so that it would like naturally skim the surface and bring in all the debris I think he did it so that we wouldn't have to get back in to get our pool toys because ain't nobody gonna do that see if I can show you guys the mosquito fish for there you time to make Lydia a birthday cake and she's specifically requested a birthday cake with no frosting [Music] well I'm trying to set up a nice dinner for Lydia's birthday tonight but they both say that these wood chips stink they smell like eucalyptus and pine I think it's the best smell it smells like the forest you got apparently you drink molasses water so they don't want to have a nice birthday dinner out by the pond it's hot and it's like the Sun setting and it's like it is kind of humid I don't care if they say I like woodchips I would put wood chips in my entire backyard if I could so we're gonna place these wood chips all around the edge of the pond and it'll just help keep weeds away and surprisingly they shouldn't blow in the pond too much because we wet them down and they get really compacted and should be good and we've decided I think we've decided on a good design we're gonna kind of curve it as we go so it's gonna kind of go curved in curved out curved in and I can't believe that our littlest little baby is 13 crazy teenager Lydia do you want to put mulberries on your cake I read about mulberries online let's see what'll is a lot better at this than Dora oh let me out Minnie welcome back she ran all the way back there once she saw Minnie well below it happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear ah happy birthday to you good yeah and also also oh okay there's another one who do like three Wow long enough fingers you can do for that's kind of hard Wow and you just gonna like set that there and now that I go all night oh I love that this is what you wanted out of everything you wanted a Newton's Cradle oh don't break it it broke you can go up to light here Lichter magnets you know what you should do is you should play that and then you can play like a ukulele song like as a metronome uh-huh maybe just take a song to it like I got a cube all right guys that's it for tonight it's been a good birthday for Lydia she's been doing whatever the heck she wants all day we've been working outside all day excited cuz the deck is gonna get done here in a few days and then what else is gonna happen Kevin we have the wood chips that we still need to move around we're gonna get plants for the wetland but it's actually gonna be probably next week because the problem is is when you try to order stuff for Arizona and you try to ship it from somewhere else they say it's too cold we can't should be yet and even though we're hot here all right we'll see you later yeah bye [Music]
