Oh boy. Oh boy. Here we are at the pasta factory. Could you help us please, Mr. Factory Guy? We need angel hair pasta. - Hello, Cookie Monster and Gonger. Welcome to the pasta factory. I can tell you all about how noodles like angel hair pasta are made. Many types of pasta are made from grains like wheat. First, farmers grow the wheat and then they harvest it. Some of the wheat is ground into flour. Then the flour is mixed with water to make dough for the pasta. In the factory, the dough is made into big flat sheets by putting it in between two huge rollers. A special machine cuts each piece of dough into very thin strips. Sometimes the pasta hangs over those rods so it will dry straight. They're put in boxes or bags and sent to the grocery store where people buy them. Enjoy your angel hair pasta! Can you help us, please? We need angel hair pasta. - Hello, Cookie Monster and Gonger. Welcome to the pasta factory. I can tell you all about how noodles like angel hair pasta are made. Many types of pasta are made from grains like wheat. First farmers grow the wheat and then they harvest it. Some of the wheat is ground into flour. Then the flour is mixed with water to make dough for the pasta. In the factory, the dough is made into big flat sheets by putting it in between two huge rollers. A special machine cuts each piece of dough into very thin strips. - [Cookie Monster] Oh, okay! Me get why it's called angel hair pasta. Those noodles so thin and stringy like hair. - Exactly. Sometimes the pasta hangs over those rods so it will dry straight. They're put in boxes or bags and sent to the grocery store where people buy them. Enjoy your angel hair pasta.
