um you've got to be kidding me that has to be the juiciest Fried Chicken I've ever had in my life no oh look you could just squeeze it in juices look at how juicy that is oh you've got to be joking [Music] hey everyone hope you're having an amazing day it's Mark Wiens I'm in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and tonight well this evening for a snack we are going to a place called albayic which is legendary it's so famous it's so iconic in Saudi Arabia as one of the greatest fast food chain I think just about everybody loves it they're extremely well known for their broasted which means kind of I think it's a pressure deep fried chicken with garlic sauce they have this spicy recipe it's truly an iconic fast food chain restaurant of Saudi Arabia something that you have to eat and actually specifically something that you have to eat when you're in Jeddah because it originates in Jeddah so we're going to one of the oldest branches in the city uh one of The Originals uh we're gonna order some broasted chicken some Saudi Arabian roasted chicken I'm gonna share it all with you the most famous all fast foods in Saudi Arabia it's going to be delicious I can't wait to try it and share it all with you right now and we've just arrived uh this place you can already see there's just like a crowd standing in line uh we're at a pretty busy intersection I love the logo let's go eat some broasted chicken hello what's up how are you guys what's up guys what's up I'm telling Instagram anymore nice what do you yeah okay my name is Mark hey Mark hey what do you like comment thank you and subscribe thank you guys what do you guys what do you guys think about it very special nice okay thank you guys see you guys okay have fun oh man you can smell that Fried Chicken Aroma stepping up here it's just like you know that hot steam you get from Fried Chicken it just as you open the door you can just get the fuse the with fellow oh man step inside packed and I think it's just like this Con continuously I mean this place is so loved so be loved it just is continuously busy and I think there's something like let me just read the the fact real fast uh but there's something like a bike it originates in Jeddah and there are now I think I believe 40 locations within Jeddah and then there's 120 location locations worldwide so they also have branches outside of Saudi Arabia as well in Bahrain in the UAE and Qatar in kurdurgistan and then within jenda there are 40 40 branches so we're in one of the oldest one of the oldest branches here the original a bike dates back to 1974. [Music] oh man this place is fast food on the next level it's almost like an auction like just flying bags like receipts going everywhere you got to call out your receipt get your order the fast food is just the flying people love it this is such a cool place so we're jumping in line to order their Specialties they have the original Bros chicken but they have the spicy burst chicken which I think is the most popular thing to get here they have fried shrimp they have actually a variety of seafood fish sandwich chicken sandwich they have fries they even have Shawarma and Falafel barbecue thigh sandwiches looks like it's like a new special order but uh I don't really think they have Burgers here it's really all about the roast and the garlic sausage so that's exactly what we're gonna get and then also gonna try some of the fried shrimp thank you very much you so you place your order and you pay over here and then you come over here to the to the pickup station where you come with your receipt and they they make your order they get your order ready I think actually most people get takeaway and just get like big bags of takeaway uh and then out the door with that iconic logo I think it's a chicken a very Happy Chicken on the logo he has some broasted soon to be broasted chicken on the logo uh but oh man this place is this is the most action most like fun and happy fast food I think you'll ever see anywhere in the world that's absolutely awesome you actually have to be a little bit aggressive to make sure that they get your order like bring the receipt and like keep calling out your order you gotta you gotta you gotta be a little bit aggressive or you'll never get your order here that's so cool probably the coolest fast food like it's almost a sport here they've turned it into a sport this is amazing thank you okay here we go our bike we got three main different things to try but then variation so we got the original we got the spicy Brewster chicken that's what we have to start with so check it out this is the the packaging I love that logo Saudi made open this up this is the original Broast chicken and um that is just beautifully golden brown there's fries here and then there's a whole bun on the bottom that's how your your package comes um and then there's sauces on the side especially the garlic sauce is what's really famous but let's start with the original burst chicken I'm gonna go into that drumstick and if I'm not mistaken again roast is uh like broiled first and then fry pressure fried so maybe it's just completely pressure fried so where they they deep fry it but pressurized so it gives it a different texture a different feel to it my first time ever I'll buy you can Jetta um you've got to be kidding me it has to be the juiciest Fried Chicken I've ever had in my life no way no oh look you could just squeeze it in juices look at how juicy that is oh you've got to be choking oh the crispy skin the juiciness oh man that uh honestly caught music by surprise I didn't even think it was going to be that good but we gotta try it with the garlic sauce I mean that kind of crowd is the only reason how you know it's going to be so good garlic sauce I'm gonna dip that that chicken in the garlic sauce Here We Go Again holy garlic look creamy shower garlicky with Juicy crispy fried chicken oh man that's some next level fast food okay we gotta try the spicy version though here we go you can see spicy they're just really spicy here on them the box and same deal here you can see the color is a little bit more um a little bit darker a little bit redder but the same deal fries the burger the entire bun and I think for it to be an accurate comparison we better go with the drumstick again there's like chili oil that just like Juiced out of the chicken look at that oh man it's cooked absolutely perfect chili oil it like kind of comes out of it the skin is so crispy it's the moistest juiciest Fried Chicken you'll ever have again oh man oh it's hot and fresh and I think what's oh something that's really good is just how it's cooked perfectly we gotta go into that garlic sauce again where's my my garlic sauce here [Music] unbelievably good like probably some of the best fast food chain that you'll ever have anywhere on Earth so I was just reading that the original recipe the original founder he started with the original roast chicken but then his son is actually who developed the spicy roast chicken and there's 18 different seasonings and herbs within the spicy roast chicken oh what a recipe and again I think because it's like I mean it's fast food it everything is down to a science and a timing it's just cooked like perfectly every single time okay let's try some of those fries real fast all these fries look good too perfect thinness and also nice and crispy I mean there's no other side that would go better with roast chicken than the stripes okay we've got some shrimp then we've got the boneless chicken to try too we've got the shrimp which is something else popular the fried shrimp like popcorn shrimp and then we've got cocktail sauce to go with this so it's gonna gonna dip this in the cocktail sauce it's more of like a main easy looking creamy cocktail sauce it's pretty good crispy bouncy salty and with that like really thick almost like a thickened Thousand Island cocktail kind of sauce and then finally another popular thing are the Boneless roast chicken um so these are basically like chicken nuggets I think we got the original and this one oh this one is the spicy so these are like square square nuggets foreign chicken just melts in your mouth that secret blend of spices and herbs and again look at look at the interior of that chicken it's just kind of saturated with chili oil that is a world-class chicken nugget that needs to be dipped in the garlic sauce oh that garlic sauce try the original I'll go catch up on this bite I mean the original is extremely good but I mean when they're spicy available always go for the spicy it's just that much more flavor and spice okay I gotta go back into the spicy brush and this time try the the white meat and along with the bun okay maybe we should just try the bun because it is anyway what we'll do is we'll we'll break into that white meat this is another true test of the of the chicken when you eat the white meat because that's oh you can just see the juice is just coming out of it the chili oil just squeezing look at how oh you can the juiciness the hot freshness oh man that's juicy okay so something you can do is grab a piece of the bud grab a piece of the chicken stick the chicken into the bun and just like take your entire handful and dip it into the garlic sauce with the bun oh yeah oh yeah here we go these things foreign it's just I prefer usually eating food that's less processed and like natural and pressure cooked but man when you are in Saudi Arabia I mean this is something I just had to eat because it's so iconic people love it and people said if you come to South Saudi Arabia you absolutely have to try hard roast chicken at albayak it's almost like a national symbol and it really is quality and tasty and something you can't miss I'm actually I I still fully can't believe that how good it is I have to admit yeah even that breast meat is just unbelievably juicy [Applause] [Music] foreign I had to get that the takeaway the iconic bag because that was a lot of food definitely could not finish all that with all the food we've been eating although I wanted to but oh okay I'm gonna be honest with you and say that typically I try to I mean it's not that I'm against fast food I just typically avoid it because I love eating fresh food but I can I can assure you I will make an exception for El baik when I'm in Saudi Arabia it's just some of the greatest fast food I think you'll have anywhere some of the best fried chicken it's so good it's so juicy that recipe with the herbs and spices and I mean just the amount of people that come here just tells you how good it is uh but really really tasty something yeah you've just gotta try it and again it is available in quite a few different countries as well now they've expanded their they've done extremely well but this right here in Jeddah is the birthplace of albayic and oh it still smells good anyway that's gonna be
