Alarm mine 12 gauge

good day internet this is the 12 gauge line [Music] it comes with a trick washer it's on this chain here but it's no good beyond this chain because you need to take it off to attach the wire so i'll just take that off now i'll deal with that so you've got your safety pin you've got your bore hole these are drilled to 22 mil to take both heavy and thin brass cartridges and what you do is you pull it back you put your pin in there and let's say that little groove and that's where you put your washer to let it trip so i get this set up and you can see one go off you can you put these in gateways um pathways people go inside bird boxes to hide them and how many places they are very loud the cartridge i use you can buy your blanks or you can convert a live cartridge into a blank by cutting it and even a percussion capping obviously remove all the shot these are designed so they can't fit in you cannot actually put a live cartridge inside these it will only take blanks which is quite a good safety feature so i took the washer off and i've used it just a normal fisherman's knot on this piece of string be like um kite string really so that's that's the washer so first things first pull the mine pull the spring back put in the safety get the washer and there's little in groove from the bar you just want to put the washer light the as you want it since if you want i'm trying to it's quite sensitive so i'm going to go there the safety springs in so i know this won't go off put your cartridge in take the safety spring out this is now live take my finger off it's been quite loud bang so here's our trip wire here so the trip wire is pulled out as you can see and the pins hit the percussion cap and obviously it's gone off now this one is dead and that's as loud as they go the pin obviously your little washer he does fly quite a long way because obviously that's being pulled out that's why you don't want to leave it attached to this chain you don't want to leave it attached to that and put it in because it's going to pull on the chain so take it off and yeah that's how the alarm lines work and my ears ringing now because they're extremely late these cartridges are 12 gauge cartridges and this hole is drilled to a 22 mil some of these mines are only drilled to 20 so the heavy brass blanks can get quite hard to fit in but as this is a 22 it will take all 12 gauge cartridges oh if you want to buy one i'll put the link down below
