all right part two I already tried to film this once but I had a couple issues so we're going to try this again um yeah in the first part I had that Amber bracelet right here sitting right in the front and I didn't even mention it and uh yeah that's kind of funny the camera was blocking my view the whole time and I didn't even notice it yeah it's a really nice stretch bracelet and uh just really pretty incredible color in that Amber now it's got a some of that egg yolk and some butterscotch in there I mean just really really great a little bit of the edge there where think you can see through it yeah a little bit of honey but man what great what great color in that and you know I don't typically buy stretch bracelets but um over the years I have gotten a number of these because they tend to be really nice whatever reason there must have been a good run of Amber in this was one of the things that was in style when they made it when they made these bracelets so yeah I thought that was really exceptional and I'm sorry for leaving that out of the last video but it gets to lead this one off and let's see I think I would we had pretty much covered everything from Alam o the spoon I did clean the spoon up and um yeah it's just it's much more approachable now and it was funny cuz when I saw the Amber uh it made me think of the Baltic Sea and um Estonia I was actually lucky enough to go there at one point and uh walking around the town of tlin there were a bunch of shops and in those shops were a whole bunch of Amber jewelry uh various different styles and qualities and I did get to see a lot that was of this quality but it was all it was all modern and I didn't I didn't even price it at the time I was there on a family trip and but yeah it made me think of that and then after I got this cleaned up I was looking at the Hallmarks and I recognized that Hallmark because I've always been pretty fond of Estonia and I remember that Hallmark being from Estonia and when I saw it I went no it can't be might I'm probably crazy I'm remembering wrong and so I went and looked it up and yeah it is it's Estonian Hallmark from I don't remember it was like from 1924 to 36 or something like that but yeah was just funny coinci there and a really cool spoon that unlike everything else here uh is going to be available for sale and unfortunately for anyone who was thinking about trying to buy this this one's going to be staying for a while so yeah just want to share that super Super Rad piece and that again was from uh the Alam antiques Fair so I think that was pretty much it from Alam there were oh there were some beeds here too that I think I will break into those at some point probably do uh do little bead bag unpacking play around those because there are some really really fun beads that each deserve individual attention in there but the day before Alam on Saturday I'd gone around to I had gone to an an or a hot rod show with my friends Pete and Justin and uh those guys are in a band and so they were practicing and I had to wait a little while had to stall a little bit and just down the street from their house is uh the one of my favorite shops there Carolines and so I popped in there and I found a couple things and I had kind of forgot that I had them so I figured hey I might as well grab them and pull them out now oh and also yesterday I went by there as well a couple days later I'm thinking I wouldn't find anything and there weren't a whole lot of things but there were a couple things one of them being this necklace right here it is um like cut crystal or cut glass it looks like Onyx but it's black glass that's kind of cool it looks like jet with the matte surface on it and then the faceted like the faceted centers then it has real pearls in between and little black faceted crystals and a really nice clasp with inlaid onx and Abalone and I I don't buy Abalone a lot but once in a while I see a piece that just has really nicely done Abalone I thought that was this one here the the color in those and the pattern is really really cool and then the top one up here it's like a straight gray when you get the Flash in it yeah just a really nice class nicely made piece and um yeah so I grab that and it was kind of expensive it was $54 which their prices in there have been going up and down you just never really know theyve I think they have someone new managing uh the jewelry or something in there and once in a while you'll walk in and you'll see a piece that has has uh MSRP on it so they know like what the manufacturer retail price is and then they they put something close to half of that um which is great for a lot of consumers but obviously for resellers that's typically not a workable margin uh but once in a while you go in there and they have pieces like this that um are a really good deal like I saw the price first I saw the wood you can kind of see the light playing off of it and I went oh man that's that's cool I like that always been a fan of wood and silver I saw that and I saw the price and I just grabbed it and as I was paying for it I saw it has a little Hall Mark but I'm not I don't necessarily think it's uh sterling silver you can test it real fast and figure out but just doesn't doesn't really look like it to me but sometimes you can be wrong that way which is always a pleasant surprise uh yeah so I think those were yeah those were the only two pieces that they had at Carolines yesterday and the day before the only two that I grabbed anyways they actually do a huge amount of volume they have a really high turnover there so almost every day you go in it's something different and they do I forgot what what their annual income is but it's something pretty Phenom phenomenal and it's all like a charity shop you know it's a nonprofit thrift shop and uh the proceeds go to uh different charities I believe I actually don't know where they where they go to I should ask that next time I'm in there so yeah picked up a couple things there W it right uh some little kjl earrings gold tone kjl earrings which were just I think they were like a buck or something very inexpensive um and then man they've been almost every time I go in there now they have a at least one little Crown trari piece and they had one again that was $1 and you know I can maybe make 15 or $20 off it I would guess I can't imagine it's worth too much more than that I could be wrong um but yeah that was I didn't mind paying that because with that was also this um pretty exceptional set actually for $20 [Music] so was pretty happy with that good little score on that one and and some more trari earrings wind's trying to take my bag wow did you hear that what's going on over there yeah more Crown trari oh how did I forget about that you know I actually looked right past this a couple times I was scanning the scanning the case and um this was just sitting in a box and it kind of at an odd angle not really um it didn't look like really anything exciting and then I caught a little bit of a glimpse of light off of it and when I caught the light I could see that it was enamel I didn't even think about it initially and U yeah so like wow that's interesting that's enamel and it's got a really interesting texture to it it's like um I forgot the name the stage of enameling I think they call it Orange Peel I think so so yeah when in the early stage of enameling when um it hasn't gotten to that kind of window glass texture yet it's still in like a beaded form and I think that's what's going on here I think this is uh like not unfired but it's it hasn't been fired all that long so it still has that texture which is actually it creates a really really neat effect uh and this one is marked Germany and it's I think it's just pot metal looks like there's a little bit of wear on the edge right there not really sure it said on the tag quality Jewel German jewelry yeah which you I'll look at it and I'll look at it a little bit closer and figure it out but I just really like it I like that enamel and uh like it's marked there too it's definitely from Germany and yeah we'll figure out what the metal is and then I don't know I guess I'll do a little research because I haven't really seen a a set like that oh there we go there's the sun to help out see if you can get some of that glittery goodness and that texture on there oh there you go on that the purple section of the leaf you can kind of see it it's like little individual spheres that are all all fused together and the feel of it's really really interesting so there you go the little mini haul I do believe that was all that was in the bag and um oh the venetians if I didn't cover those already right here were some really nice uh pan glass beads that were the uh you know other ones were the black and white or the black and gold okay hung up on that the black and gold that were smooshed flat and these are the little white and gold that are not smush flat but there are oh I don't know 12 36 Ines or so of beads there but yeah that was the last thing so thanks for hanging out and checking this all out um I'm kind of curious if you have a favorite piece in here what it is and also I'm curious the first one of these I did in a horizontal view or in vertical View and this one I did in horizontal view so I'm curious if any of you out there have a preference over horizontal versus vertical because for me it doesn't really matter so I'm just kind of curious all right thanks a lot for joining in and hope to see you in the next one
