AK-63F Parts Kit at Atlantic Firearms

hey today we're taking a look at something new and exciting here in atlantic firearms we are involved with a lot of kalashnikov based variants both um firearms is as well as pistols but also parts kits we're always looking for something new and unique uh we definitely uh dig the new stuff and we know that you uh guys and gals out there also do today we've got something that we've never seen before as far as i know they haven't been imported into the united states and that is the hungarian ak-63f kits we've seen amd 65 kits over the years we've seen some of the ak-63d which are the under folder variants but we actually haven't seen any of the f and the f is the original uh fixed stock model uh these were developed in the i think the mid to late 70s and uh they were made by feg and then used by the hungarian defense forces these also were exported all over the world and served in a couple of conflicts uh one of the most famous uh purchasers of these would be saddam hussein bought very several different models and they were used in uh i guess the defense in the gulf war but today we're excited to show you guys and gals out there some of these cats let's give an eye get an idea of what they are and aren't and i'm going to open a few of them up but real excited to be able to see them this is one of the pallets that came in and we're going to just pull a couple of these out i guess if you want to take a look at them they were packaged very nicely and uh real pleased with that stuff's not falling all over the place like we can occasionally see with some of the kit imports um i'm gonna open up just a couple of bags real quick just so we can have a general overview of what's going on with these um we've randomly sampled some of the kits we are not going through and hand inspecting each one of them but in each palette we did go and randomly sample some of them just kind of make sure that things are consistent because often what we can see uh from the overseas suppliers is they'll put the nice stuff on the top and then you'll put less than nice on the bottom from what we can tell as a whole these guns were not really fired or used much they appear to have been carried more uh than they were used um and according to our sources uh on the procurement team these were basically you know just issued as guard rifles and not really service rifles that were out being used on a daily basis so what you're going to see is um you know carry wear on metal surfaces some dings and different carry wear carry wear on the wood parts but the internals are extremely nice we're going to probably conservatively rate these as good to very good but you know quite honestly a lot of the kits that uh we've looked at they've been pretty spectacular so you know we want to be honest with everybody and give them a really good idea of what is going on with the kits when they're purchasing them and try not to over promise or over hype which you may or may not be not getting don't want to mix this stuff up and i'm not really putting this in a super sophisticated order for you but it will give you a rough idea of what is going on with these kits but it's a super cool opportunity to have something you know a little bit different and new from a kalashnikov pattern perspective and not necessarily everything be you know a polish kid or a romanian kit or something along those lines but if you can take a look at you know these bolt carriers um you know basically they look like they've barely been fired if if racked now the same kit with the wood you can definitely tell it's been carried there's wear and so forth on the butt plate some of them might have you know some markings you know the hungarian pistol grip which is unique to that design definitely uh you know appears that it has been carried but um as far as the internal parts you know we're really not seeing much going on with them so i mean the finish looks to be extremely good we'll take a look at this bolt carrier here again same thing uh barely looks like it's been carried i have seen some of the dust covers that will show a little bit more wear than others the stock sets are going to show where here's an example of a stock set that's um not quite as blonde as some of the other ones if you look at this gas tube you can notice that you know it's got some carry wear but at the same time we'll also look at this dust cover now you can see some of the carry wear from the dust cover but when we look at the bolt carrier again you know really very little usage to them so really excited to be able to spend some time with you show you some of these rare kits that you can add to your next build uh or your uh your collection of kalashnikov based uh you know parts kits we continue to uh search all over the world um as well as domestically for a unique parts kits offering offerings if you'd like to check out these cool ak-63f kits or others stop by our website at atlanticfirearms.com
