- [Lucy] Happy birthday, Addy! - Thank you! - [Lucy] You got a Skee-ball machine! - Yay! (upbeat music) (indistinct chatter) (excited chatter) - Hey guys! I'm gonna let you in on a secret. I am hiding in Jason's office right now, because I cannot risk Addy, Maya, or Colin overhearing this. But today is Addy's 11th birthday and we have a big surprise planned that we are trying
really hard to pull off. Today, we are flying in
her best buddy, Avery, from Arizona for a surprise visit, and she has no idea. And here's how everything's gonna happen. We are going to
Pinspiration this afternoon. It's where Addy chose
to spend her birthday. It's a craft studio here
in the Nashville area. As we're sitting there doing our projects, their friend Avery is
going to walk in the door and join the project time. Now Jason's gonna be off
picking her up at the airport and he's gonna meet us there. So I'm just gonna tell the kids that Daddy had to go run some errands and he's gonna meet up with us later, but he'll be showing up with Avery. You might remember Avery. She has been in so many of our videos. She was Addy's best buddy
back when we lived in Arizona and we moved here to the Nashville area. Addy had a tough time leaving Avery and she's missed her for the whole three years we've been here. So she is going to be so pumped and we're so excited to have her back and she's gonna be spending
a whole week with us. (upbeat music) - Whoa!
- What do you think? - This is amazing!
- Wow! (Lucy laughs) - [Jason] It's pretty cool, huh? - Yeah!
- Whoa! (ball rolling) - [Lucy] Happy birthday, Addy! - Thank you! - You got a Skee-ball machine! - Yay! - This is not really her birthday present. We ordered a Skee-ball
machine for this game room months and months ago and it just so happened to arrive and get installed on her birthday. So it's kind of making her
birthday extra special. (upbeat music) (excited chatter) - (indistinct) and it came down. - You may remember that
Addy's birthday last year was all Harry Potter themed. And as you can see, her interests have not changed that much, because they're both in
their Harry Potter robes and they've got their wands with them. Hermoine wand, Addy? - Yes. - [Lucy] Love it, woo! (upbeat music) Who in the family do you think is gonna be the best at Skee-ball? - Probably me. - [Lucy] What do you think, Maya? - Me. - [Lucy] I'm gonna guess Daddy. - Oh yeah, probably Dad. (upbeat music) - [Lucy] We're at the toy store right now - and I'm letting Addy
pick out some party favors, because this weekend she
is having a sleepover with her friend, Caroline (whispering) and Avery. So I'm making sure we have
plenty party favors for everyone. What are you finding? - Both of these! - [Lucy] Wow, those look fun! Addy's very into fidget stuff right now. - Yes. - [Lucy] What are we going for, Addy? - We're getting this
like bubble, air bubble. - [Lucy] Those look fun. - And we're getting an infinity cube. - [Lucy] Infinity cubes look fun. What else? - [Addy] We're also
getting this fidget spinner that's like a pop it. - [Lucy] Well, those look cool. - I've never had one of them before. I like this squishy little frog thing. He looks really cute and squishy. - [Lucy] Those look fun. What is your favorite of
all the fidget toys, Addy? - Oh, I don't know. - [Lucy] Out of all the ones you have. - Oh, I have a bunch with me right now. Like this backpack is literally
full of fidgets I got today. - [Lucy] It is. - Like, this is all fidgets.
- You don't have a favorite? - [Lucy] What about the
rings? Those are pretty cool. - Yeah, I really like these fidget rings. - [Colin] Mama! - [Lucy] Those are cool. - [Addy] And I also like this big pop it. - [Lucy] Okay, it's pretty fun, too. - Yeah, so I have no idea. It's probably either this pop it, the rings, or my Nee Doh. - [Lucy] Wait, what is that? What are those called? - A Nee Doh. - [Lucy] Ah, that's right, Nee Doh. - I actually got it at the
store that we're at right now. (upbeat music) - [Lucy] Where are we headed next, girls? - Pinspiration!
- Pinspiration! - Pinspiration! Time for the surprise! (upbeat music) We first went to Pinspiration
in Scottsdale, Arizona, right? - Yes. There was one by our old house, and we were so excited to find out they opened up one up here. - Yes. - I think you were the first
one to find it, weren't you? - I think Maya was the first one - to see it.
- Was Maya the first one? - Yeah, 'cause when we were
going to school one day, Maya saw a sign saying Pinspiration. I remembered it like a few nights ago. Like, "Oh my gosh, I want to go to Pinspiration
for my birthday." - So here we are. - Yeah! - Very cool! What project are you making today? - I'm making a fairy house. - [Lucy] Let's see, so here is a sample of what it could look like. And you can create it
on your own, how fun! What are you making, Colin? - [Maya] Colin, you can start painting. - [Lucy] Do you want to
show us what you're making? - Paint. - [Lucy] Yeah, you can paint that. Colin's making this little
dinosaur land right here. The concept of Pinspiration is that you come here to create
a Pinterest worthy craft. They have all sorts of cool crafts that you might see on Pinterest. And they have all the supplies you need to walk away with a really cool craft. Addy, what are you working on today? - I'm working on a jewelry holder. So like, - the necklaces go here.
- Here it is. - Then you can put dangly earrings here, - Let me see.
- and normal earrings here. - [Lucy] Oh, I like it. What is your plan for it?
How are you gonna color it? - I'm gonna color it light blue, 'cause I may eventually get
my room painted light blue. If there's any horse stencils, I'm probably gonna use those. - Looks like Jason just pulled up. (soft music) Is Daddy here? - [Maya] Daddy! - Hey there!
- She's filming. - Hey.
- How's it going? - Good, how are you? - [Lucy] Good, you excited to be here? - I am excited. - [Lucy] Fun! (soft, happy music) (indistinct chatter) (excited chatter) (Addy laughing) - [Lucy] Who's here? (excited chatter) - Oh my gosh, I thought
you were a stranger! I just looked at- - I was seeing-
- a stranger! (crosstalk) - Oh my goodness, is that Avery's mom? And so then, I was like,
"Is that Avery's mom?" So then I just continued painting, because I was like, "Is that Avery's mom?" (Lucy laughing) - [Lucy] Are you excited? - Yes! - [Lucy] Did we pull off the surprise? - Yes! (Lucy laughing) - Addy, what did you think when you first turned
around and saw Avery? - I thought Avery was just a stranger. Like I just turned around. I didn't get much of a glimpse. I just turned around and I'm
like, "Oh, it's a stranger. Let's just get back to painting." - But then when we-
- Stranger! (upbeat music) - Colin's working on
putting some lava down in his dinosaur land, and I'm
gonna go check in on the girls and see how their projects are coming. How's yours coming? - Good. I just got this on there where the fairy's gonna be under. - [Lucy] That's where the
fairy will rest, okay. - And I went over there,
got a little silver bowl, and got some little decorations. - [Lucy] Ooh. - I have some rocks.
- Does that go - [Lucy] in the fairy land? - Yes. So I have some rocks and these
little jewels, some acorns, and some of these. - [Lucy] Pinecones. - Pinecones. (upbeat music) - [Lucy] What are you looking for, - Addy?
- Stencils. - I'm looking for stencils. - [Lucy] And Avery, what are you making? - I'm making a wreath. I don't really know how to describe it. Oh yeah, it looks like that. - [Lucy] A beaded wreath. (upbeat music) - [Woman In Black Shirt]
You happy with it? - [Lucy] Did you finish? - Yeah. - [Lucy] Is this your whole dinosaur land? - Yeah, now I want my dinosaur. - [Lucy] Now you need a dinosaur for it? - And my house. (Lucy laughing) (upbeat music) - [Lucy] Ooh, that is beautiful! I love the glitter
trail to the fairy home. - [Maya] Mm-hm. - [Lucy] So cool, Buggy. How long have you guys known each other? Do you even know? - [Both] Since we were
like two months old. - [Lucy] Yup, two months old. - Yes. - [Lucy] I have so many cute
pictures of you guys as a baby. I'm gonna have to show you guys some of the pictures we have of these two when they were little, because we have them in
baby swings together, we have them with sippy
cups in their hands, and you know, Addy and
Avery, they go way back. (upbeat music) What room are you in, Maya? - The splatter room. - [Lucy] You get to come in here and just splatter paint
everywhere to make cool canvases. - Mm-hm. - [Lucy] Have you ever done this? - I think I did it once. - I've never done the splatter room before, but I'm gonna have to make
this happen at some point. Have you done it, Addy? - I don't think so.
- The splatter room? - I don't think so.
- You don't think so, either? (upbeat music) - [Lucy] And Addy's finished product. - Yay!
- I love it! - I'm gonna use it to like, hold ribbons that I win on horse shows. - [Lucy] Smart girl. Jewelry and ribbons. - Yes. - [Lucy] And Avery's done, too! - I love it. - [Lucy] I love it, too. You putting on your room? - Yes, I'm gonna put it on my door. - [Lucy] Oh, good idea. - Yes.
- I like that. (upbeat music) - We're back home and we had a second surprise for Addy. - Hi!
- My mom is here! - But Jason kind of blew the surprise. - Jason! - We were calling Dad on speakerphone, and then he said, like, "I have your mom and sister over here." And I'm like, - "Thanks for spoiling
- Like, "Mom? Wait! - the surprise!"
- Who's here?" - [Lucy] I know. Daddy spoiled on the car ride home. - Mm-hm. - [Lucy] That's okay, though. - Yup. (upbeat music) - [Lucy] What kind are you going for? Maya, you got birthday cake. Addy, what are you going for? - I'm going with a red velvet. - [Lucy] Red velvet, and Avery, too? I haven't even sang happy birthday yet and you're taking your first bite? - [Addy] Like, yeah sorta. - [Everyone Singing]
Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. - [Lucy] Come here, Colin! - [Everyone Singing]
Happy birthday dear Addy! Happy birthday to you! - Blow out the imaginary candle! - [Everyone] Yay! - Well, thank you so much for watching and celebrating Addy's birthday with us. Be sure and subscribe if
