ACHIEVING PERFECTION IN STARDEW VALLEY

and welcome back hi happy saturday oh snappy i got scared she's gonna leave but she wasn't it's fine hi everyone my cat's here welcome back it's good to see all of you hope you're having a good weekend i hope you're having a good day um i'm i'm hanging out with my cat on this fine uh saturday afternoon and we're gonna play some stardew valley because i have a big announcement you won't believe what came today it came so fast so i had the starting valley board game i it told me i got an email that it shipped last night and then it was already here so i think it shipped from florida which is why it came so fast but like i have it already so we can open it we can look at it and my cat's here so i'm just i'm very excited um today's a very good day it only went on sale on like tuesday i swear or like thursday or something i don't know i just the game came very quickly so little ticket thank you for the bids you have my cats here yes um they announced the sturdy valley board game like on thursday and then it sold out um or what i don't know wednesday it came out this week they announced the starting valley board game i bought it on stream because i was so excited and then um it came today it's already here for some reason i don't understand how it's possible but it's it's here rebecca thank you for the five months uh stack thank you for the three months thank you so much um anyway i've got my cat cam on and i got my sturdy board game so this is a big moment for us i'm very very excited the stream name is very misleading dangerously close to 10 million dollars in a useless golden clock i'm not sure how that's misleading um one second i'm not exactly sure how uh oh hmm why is it so zoomed in why is it just my cat's body wait wait wait wait wait hang on oh no hang on oh remember because the last time we had the cat cam on she was sitting on the cat tree behind me so we had to zoom in really far okay that makes sense wait give me a second i'll fix it sorry snap you didn't deserve that you deserve better than this that's actually really funny okay let me just let me just to fix it let me just get this um oh i was very close to being like uh cropping it open my board game and show you it just came so i opened it and i looked at it but i haven't like done anything with it obviously so let's do a quick unboxing of the sturdy valley board game here's the inside of the top of the box here's the inside of the top of the box yeah that's the thing it only shipped last night i got an email that it shipped last night and then today was like out for delivery and i was like what but it shipped from here so it's like already here it came so we have this beautiful quality box the the game is very heavy um you had to i had to pay like 9 shipping but it makes sense because it's a it's a hefty game it's a heavy game and i i accept it it's fine um we've got a very nice rule booklet it says welcome to stardew valley and it's got all of the information about the game um so we have all of this uh i haven't had a chance to read this yet because again it like literally just came and then there's like all the little thingies all the little bits and pieces you know so there's like all of these you have to punch them out um there's all of these and we've got oh my god i don't even know how to show you this we have all of these i want to play this so bad and then look at all of the there's like all the little um items like that you know you would use in the game and there's like all the collectibles like the dwarf scrolls and all all of this stuff there's crops i mean there's like a million things um so that i i don't know how to play this game yet because i obviously haven't played yet but there's even like forageables and the back of them is just plain there's like trees look you chop down and then you know yeah so you can play single player but you can also play with up to four people the thing he says um so it sounds like the goal of the game there's also some fishies uh the goal of the game is to like complete the community center basically um and so it's like a team effort right if you're playing with more than one person there's like a winner you know you're not trying to like beat your your mom if you're playing with your mom um there's also this for all the cards but um you would work together to to achieve the the thing um sami thank you for the 17 months return thank you for the five unit subs chelsea with the bits nikki with the prime sub randy with the two months adeline with the 14 months um as you can see there's a lot going on here isn't it so cool though and then there's like yes my game it came already it came in the mail today somehow miraculously um so there's little pieces here's the little game pieces right um we've got these little dice i haven't read the rules yet so i don't know how the game even works but i can't open it okay but they have like little dice this one's got like animals on it you see oh don't look at my nails oops um this one's got like more animals on it we've got this one has like junaos and hearts on it um but they've got these dice i guess we'll see how they work um where can you buy it sassy wolf it came on sale this week and it already went out of stock it's brand new um but i am sure we will let you know once the game comes back in stock also the actual game story valley the pc game because their five year anniversary was yesterday it's on sale on steam and it's only seven dollars and fifty cents right now razor celeste taylor krista bridget ashley thank you all for the bits and subs um there's a couple of baggies i assume for a little like cards and stuff we have to cut out um there are these cards that says abigail i don't know what these are but there's these cards um these are the season cards from what i understand on the rule book you play like the whole like a year and game with the seasons cards and then once the year is up the game is over um so i assume these are all the characters it looks like there's more there's character cards and something else but i don't want to open it yet um and then we also have all of these like mine event and such items some item thingies there's a bee house lots of things lots of things no just one year well the game it's already says it's gonna take like an hour to play i don't know if um more than one year would make too much sense right but anyway it looks very fun so i'm very excited about this it's also just beautiful isn't it i mean i i literally cannot wait to play with it more i'm gonna punch all these out later what game is this it's the stardew valley board game um anyway i haven't played it yet and i it only just came today so i haven't even read the rule booklet yet so i don't don't ask me many questions about it once i play it i can tell you more about it but um it's for one to four players you can play single player if you want um but one to four people can play i think much like regular sturdy valley multiplayer on the um on the game so anyway i am very very excited about this it says a cooperative game of farming and friendship for one to four players on the front isn't it so beautiful would i stream it maybe i need to like get a a better camera setup in order to do that and i don't really have space on my desk to like lay the board out so i'd have to like figure out a better setup in order to stream it i don't i don't have like the setup that is necessary to stream like board games um but uh maybe someday shelby uh much um okay anyway we're gonna play some sturdy valley today in case you missed it um we're so basically in stardew valley in the new update there's like a perfection rating right and i want to get perfection and one of the things you need to do in order to do that is like obviously complete like all the achievements so think like all these achievements you got to complete them you gotta ship everything you know yeah complete all the cooking do all the cooking find all the museum stuff all of that i've done the last thing i need to do is buy the golden clock and the golden clock costs 10 million gold we have 8.7 million gold so we were in the process of trying to earn like the last bit of money to buy the golden clock um and and complete perfection so that's what we're up to today that's what the title means um and that's like the last bit of perfection that we need to do um and then the game is done so that's what we're up to um what does the clock do well i called it a useless golden clock in my title for a reason it's not actually useless the golden clock makes it so that you don't have um like it makes it so that weeds don't spawn on your farm and like your fences don't break um but i don't know if that's a 10 million gold kind of perk i've never bought the golden clock before um but we are we're going to pay for it today so upload thank you for the eight months thank you so much yeah i'm not sure if it's worth the 10 million but it's all right i i'll i'll take it i'll i accept it it's fine carlin um i will if i finish it on stream i will absolutely show all of you what the scene is um please no spoilers though if you know because i will cry i'm not kidding if you spoil the ending like with the stuff that you unlock with this to me i will ban you here and everywhere else i have mod powers and i am dead serious about that if you try to spoil this for me i will end you i will i will ban you everywhere i can and i have mod powers in a lot of streams so you better watch out don't you dare spoil anything for me i will never forgive you okay i'm not kidding i'm i'm very serious about this but anyway next week next saturday so exactly a week from today we're gonna do a 12-hour stream where we play with uh the jojo mart route instead we're gonna try and do the jojo route which i've never actually done before so it'll be kind of fun to try that um because again it'll be new i haven't i haven't done it yet so um next weekend we're gonna do 12 hours and try and do like an evil run of stardew valley and try and date everyone at least start the save where we try and date everyone um which is horrible and where we also do the jojo mario so the community center so that's my plan i'm very excited julia thank you for the two months by the except i can't reach it to change them even with my ladder so i had to get my dad to help me change the light bulbs in my kitchen today so i went to the store um i bought some light bulbs and i replaced the light bulbs in my kitchen um so that's what i did today very exciting stuff one day kitty thank you for the bits rally thank you for the bids uh cassie thank you for the four months audrey with 11 months um wow this stuff was free with amazon prime now hang on just one minute you mean to tell me that if you or your parents have amazon prime you can connect your account and during the day like she hangs out on here at night time a lot with me but she doesn't like sit there uh during the day very much but she's sitting there right now so we got the cat cam on for as long as she's in here i'll keep the cat cam on so do not worry okay i'm taking care of my animals really fast and then i want to go check the island to see if i have any um crops that we can gather i had a dream i'm not kidding i had a dream that i i found three auto petters in the skull caverns how embarrassing is that i dreamt that literally having dreams about stardew valley but those so basically this thingy like the moving arms do you see this that's called an auto petter and it's a thing that comes with the game anyone can get one except for the most part you can only buy it when you're playing the jojo mart route so you can't get it if you go the community center route and so i had never even known it existed until i found it in the skull caverns because you can get it on treasure levels in the skull caverns and so i found one it's kind of rare um and the way this works you know you get to like talk to your animals to pet them during the day and it like makes them happier um this thing will auto pet them sort of like how this thing milks them for you this thing will pet them for you um which is kind of fun so that's that's what that is that's how it works um queen thank you for the price of lyla thank you for the bids skyla thank you for the two months cinnamon thank you for the 13 months abby with the six months too late 21 months thank you all so so so much um okay this the horse flute um i this horse flute like caught like you can call your horse wherever you are um that was probably bad because you couldn't see it basically with the horse flu um you can buy this from the walnut room it's a 1.5 thing if you haven't seen it yet just keep playing you'll get there eventually um once you get to the island but you can buy that from the walnut room and then it summons your horse wherever you are that is how that one works no panda i don't have any mods in my game i don't um i've never actually played with sturdy mods ever yeah those are warp totems next to my house that teleport you places okay everyone it's money time here we go time to get rich the hat that my character is wearing this rainbow hat um this is called the magic cowboy hat and you can buy that from the desert trader um in the desert for like 333 omni geodes so uh evie thank you for the prime sub cassidy thank you so much for the 16 months lisa thank you for eight months marissa thank you for the bits um yeah marissa holding running around while holding uh right click is so helpful because then you can just keep going like i'm just holding right click and like moving my mouse around i don't think you need to move your mouse to be honest oh no you kind of do but if you just like hold right click and keep going they'll just keep harvesting you don't need to keep clicking same thing goes for like the animals and even like um like trying to put items into like your i don't know kegs and all that you can just keep running and clicking and harvesting just hold down the click instead of like clicking on each one you know like this you can just hold it uh wistful thank you so much for the five months i love you thank you thank you thank you um that's awesome tell your only 7.50 it's usually 15 but it's on sale for half off right now so if you're thinking about getting stardew now is 100 the time to do it so um i highly recommend you grab the game if you're thinking about it i don't know how long it'll be on sale for i'm not super sure about that one but there the five year anniversary of the game um was yesterday so there's like a quick anniversary sale i don't right like my dog snook he died when i was like 13 and i got snap when i was nine right so i um snap knew him for a few years she was like best friends with him they would like sleep next to each other like she would curl up like on him and sleep with him and stuff she really does not like my parents dogs so i kind of um kind of rescued her from that one but she's very happy here she she likes puppy would be a little bit scary for a cat i i can see that so i can see how she would not want to play with him all right this is working out very well we will make a lot of money today from this uh that's valid that's fine i get it i don't live there anymore but they want to paint my room i was very upset by this i'm not ready yet i don't want you to i'm not ready it made me feel sad i don't want them to paint it yet i haven't lived there for a while obviously but i i'm still just not ready what color they don't want to paint it i don't know they had the audacity to ask me what color they should paint it they're like we're thinking about painting your room you know so that mom will have like a a better space that isn't purple for work and i was like excuse me my room is like a my room is like a purpley gray color um at home and they are not allowed to paint it um i don't know what color they painted i mean it would look nice i'm just not ready nina thanks for the bits happy it's very beautiful it's a little bit badly painted you know there's like some splotches on the ceiling but so so what there's splotches on the ceiling yeah and my mom's work colleagues can't see the think she would want that i think i don't know what color they would go for i'd have to ask them about it um but they were asking for my advice like what my recommendation would be and my recommendation is purple personally so in fact the current purple color that's my recommendation oh they weren't asking for permission they were asking for my advice because they think that i'm good at um design they're gonna paint the um the laundry room as well so they were like oh let's just paint them both at the same time like that was the the mindset um i'm kind of excited about that they're gonna paint the cabinets there's like um like one cabinet and a sink in the laundry room and they're going to paint it to the cabinets as well which will be fun looking forward to that very supposed to do that like how am i supposed to fix this so i couldn't even replace the light bulb and now my kitchen those went out i couldn't reach them with my little stepladder so stuck stuck with agriculturalist profession that makes your crops grow 10 faster so um am i planting so fast well i'm holding down the right mouse button off off from where it is and then i'm just walking so i'm clicking like in the middle of the screen and i'm just walking and then it plants wherever i walk um so i'm planting these so fast so that's a pro tip just hold your mouse button down like off from where you're walking and then it'll plant them just every step you take it'll plant them so that is the best way okay after this i'm gonna go and i'm gonna go to the walnut room i just wanna get these planted before i forget um and then we'll go to the walnut room i did gem i got the clock and we did it we saw the uh we saw the cut scene we beat it we beat the game um not a special perk no just uh attached to that like a crab shell ring so it gives me plus defense and then i have a ring that makes slimes not attack me and a ring that makes my enemies explode when i kill them so whenever the like the enemies like explode you see this that's because i have a ring that makes them explode when i kill them um and i've got that one on so very useful ring honestly that ring in the slime ring love well i i'm obsessed like the slime ring is so useful when the slimes don't attack you um i'm a big fan what where's the oh my god oh there it is not hard how do you get them um you get those rings by um completing like some quests basically like quests in the um adventurers guild and then you can unlock them so you have to kill like a thousand slimes for the slime ring and stuff like that caitlyn thank you for the six month resub thank you so much cashlee thank you for the six months thank you both is this modded nope not modded this is part of the update i love that when people come in they like um because it's sort of new and they like because um the update has so much new content like this that is like shocking and very different than before um people come in all the time once you beat the game and you get perfection you get a statue of complete perfection um and then uh that thing gives you a prismatic shard every day apparently go to the forest okay i will maybe i'll get the thingy from shane i already have full hearts with everybody in the whole game so i don't even need it um because i already beat the game i already because to get the to get the statue you need to have full hearts with everyone oh my god i'm giving up i missed one oh that's fine that's fine no big deal i go to shane his house when is the where's the cut scene you have to wait until evening evening in the rain okay we'll come back and we'll do it in the evening in the rain everyone told me to do it so i did i'll go i'll go to the island all day and i'll um chop down trees you said i need the scene i don't think we have okay can you do the 100 baby challenge in stardew valley i mean you could if you wanted i'm talking about his eight heart event yeah pusheen which apparently i haven't seen yet oh so you can never go in the door what's everyone trying to tell me to go into the door for everyone gives me so many mixed signals about this it's so unhelpful um but we aren't sure if i've ever had the cutscene or not which cutscene is it i'm done so i probably have already had the cut scene then um doesn't matter it doesn't matter everyone tries to i don't think i i haven't seen them i don't know if i've seen the one with like in the barn with the blue chickens is the thing i guess it'll tell me on sturdy checkup this is stressing me out i don't want to do this anymore it's not that the same upgrades um and i have never done that before and there's a steam achievement for it so i want to do that in my next next time i play in the next save um and i'm gonna try and do that and also like try and just date everybody all at once do all the evil things um that is my plan so that's what we're gonna do um starting on saturday i promised after our last charity stream last month um i guess it was earlier this month um i promised that i would do a uh when we did it we did a charity stream for feeding america and i promised that if we raised twenty five hundred dollars i would do this like 12 hour jojo mart run and then we raised 32 000 so we we beat our goal a little bit so we're gonna do a 12-hour stream next saturday and we will we will do our jojo mart run um yeah i'm excited because i've never seen i've never even seen anybody do it so i have literally no idea how it works like i've never even seen it done so um i kind of i look forward to playing it for the first time um it'll be fun i like it okay let me just get all this wood really fast i only need 950 but i'd like to have more than zero wood once i do this we'll be live from like 10 a.m to 10 p.m eastern will try my absolute hardest to make her stop okay absolutely devastating nope well i don't like it when the fairy comes because look do you see now do you do you understand why i don't like this do you understand my pain look at what she did she grew a couple of them do you see usually this is very useful like early game you know when you don't have a ton of money and stuff yet and you get extra crops from her but she's made all of my melons out of sync i'm not gonna pick them i'm just gonna leave them i think i'll just leave them they might turn into giant melons too so maybe it's worth it because those could become big melons so maybe we'll just leave them there and hope that they get bigger okay well we're gonna make a bunch of money from this we can get the return sector very soon then we'll really have everything done thank you very much yeah if you leave melons cauliflower or pumpkins in a three by three um they can they have the possibility of turning into a giant melon cauliflower or pumpkin um and then you get so like we usually would just get nine from the spot you can get like 15 to 20 or so um of them which is pretty cool so if you're gonna grow melons and pumpkins i recommend trying to grow them in a three by three shape uh because then you'll get a bunch possibly well not always it's kind of rare but there's a chance of it turning into a giant one and that's kind of fun um and they also kept me if i'm wrong but they stay out of season as well so if you get like a giant cauliflower in the spring um it'll stay like it won't die right so you could like try and get them and leave them as decorations on your farm if you wanted to which is kind of fun so that's always a possibility that you could try for i'm so excited that i got perfection today this has been such a good day um i've had a lot of fun on stardew today i must admit yeah sure wispy no worries yeah yeah sure sure yeah i'll do it again no worries um okay do you like my golden clock yeah oh someone read it tried to fill the entire farm with with giant crops took him 50 years in game that's such a cool idea though i love that that's kind of fun uh blueberry thank you for the 33 admittedly everybody i'm not sure if we're gonna do a charity stream next weekend i say this because i have a charity stream lined up already for april and i want to do a charity stream all of like may and i want to do a lot of charity in june as well for prime month so i i'm not sure if doing a charity stream in march is a good idea just because i feel bad asking all of you for so much money if i have like so many charity streams lined up for the rest of spring i'm not sure if doing one next weekend is is a good idea or not like i just feel bad like being like hey chat give me something obviously it's for charity but i feel bad like asking you all for money that often um because we have so many charity streams lined up in the in spring um but possibly um i just i just feel bad i just feel bad like constantly being like hey everybody give me some money today you know even though it's not money for me it's money for charity i still feel um a little bit guilty asking for money constantly for charity streams so um i'm just not sure what the like what the line is you know um especially because we have so many lined up for for the spring but um obviously i love doing charity streams hence why we do so many of them i just i don't know how many is too many oh my god i don't know how many is too many okay a bunch of wine we have to fill up in here apparently let's do that charity streams are a lot more effective when you do like special ones um like i've got a lot of experience like fundraising for charity um on twitch i've done a bunch of it in the past um and like last year um we kind of had like constant back-to-back chair oh my gosh started harvesting them oh my god oh no oh that's horrible oh that's horrible okay anyway um last year we had like back to back to back charity streams for like two or three months straight because um like all of may we had charity stream a charity stream for uh st june and then we did more charity streams again we started raising money for color of change um and then we did like uh a couple fundraisers for the transgender law center kind of all back to back because there was like a lot going on like it was pride month you know um there was like the black matter protest happening so we started fundraising for pillar of change um and we like did all these back to back to back charity streams and obviously there and it was because i just had like a charity goal on top of my channel like all month like i just had it up all month um and that's really effective but it's also like in my experience way more effective to do like really special streams um like people donate a lot more in those streams for the most part um so i like i don't know we'll we're gonna do like a whole month of uh st jude fundraising again um but i i guess it's all a a fun experiment right to see what the best way to do it is um but that is um that is the plan i've got a bunch of charity streams that i want to do this year i'd like to do another fundraiser for the transgender law center again um at some point soon too so that is that is the plan um okay let's just go to bed maybe because i i want to be the next day thank you very much you know i don't oh it might have been the last day today but a couple of my friends um well i hope that i can call them friends you know when you like kind of know somebody and you're like i would call him a friend i just made myself nervous by by saying that they're my friends i'm calling them my friends i hope they think i'm their friend um but they they were doing charity streams for get this once you beat the game i won't tell you where to find it but you can find it once you get perfection in stardew valley um so that's how i got it i have played 31 switch a bunch but i i'm by far more of a pc player i just i play most of my games on pc um so i i prefer and like i i always have played story valley on pc as opposed to on the switch so i'm very much a more um pc stardew player oh more money if i just put that in there what happens can i just leave it there and then when they harvest my things they'll be rainbow or something how does it work i don't know i guess we'll there a lot i can't go there when you wear my walnuts you can't go where yet the house or to the island you can't get any walnuts until you have the island um but once you like start paying with walnuts for the upgrades on the island you can build a farmhouse here um so you can like build like um you can rebuild the resort you can rebuild the mailbox you can rebuild the you know you can open up this area like you can you can get all this stuff um you just gotta keep using walnuts to do it a path is blocked off yes okay so you need to get more walnuts and then use like pay the turtle with walnuts to move and then you'll get over here this is like to the left of the the beach when you first come to the island so just find some more walnuts and then you can um pay the turtle to move and then it'll leave okay so many ancient fruit we're getting today every season grows here so this this uh the whole island works kind of like the greenhouse and that you can grow anything here all year round um so you can you can grow like spring crops summer crops fall crops anything and they won't die in the winter either um am i gonna get the stardew valley board game am i gonna get the star new valley board game no it came in the mail literally today i it shipped so fast i got an email that it shipped last night i think it shipped from florida hence why it came so fast but it came yesterday
