About Blue Jean Chef

well i've always loved cooking and my mom was a great cook she always had me helping her in the kitchen it was natural for me to want to go to culinary school right after university and from there i cook in some restaurants in france in san francisco and oakland i've taught at culinary schools and now i find myself here writing cookbooks and demonstrating cooking products i started teaching classes in person and now it's moved to online and it's actually been a really great experience because i have interaction with the students they can ask me questions and i can see their faces and see the success that they're having so we're able to cook along together in our separate kitchens and have a great time at the same time a huge part of my family are my two dogs hazel and lulu who are often in the kitchen with me if they hear my knife chopping on that cutting board they come running to get a carrot or a piece of broccoli i think the dogs quite frankly are more popular than my recipes it certainly seems that way from any social media post i do they are an essential part of the whole blue jean chef life i really love cooking but what i love even more than cooking is teaching and i think that's because i love learning sometimes the smallest thing can make the biggest difference to somebody's experience in the kitchen and it's those successes that lead people to cook more often when you cook more often you become a better cook use the right technique with the right tools and you can make a really delicious meal the blue jean chef philosophy is really that anybody can cook get comfortable get confident relaxed and get in the kitchen and have some fun you
