Harris and his former chief financial officer who is an unnamed conspirator he caused the construction cost for his mansion to be recorded as business expenses for his companies he also devised what US attorney Scott Bradley called an elaborate shell game in which he transferred money among his companies for the purpose of evading taxes as an example mr. nacido paid the Builder of his home a monthly payment that he and other conspirators called consulting services he arranged for the builders employees to be paid as though they were employees of another company in Northland properties which mr. nacido then expensed as business cost in addition to using various corporate entities to pay for his house mr. nacido is also charged with falsely claiming as business expensive payments for his Jaguar Maserati and rolls-royce not to mention his Butler and Cooke private school tuition for his grandchildren mortgage payments for his relatives insurance premiums and Country Club memberships in company ledgers he expensed those purchases variously as travel advertising or office expense he is also accused of understating his income on his personal tax returns the indictment also says mr. nacido concealed millions in taxable profits of the AHS by shuffling payments between the company and the other corporate entities he owned so he could reduce the payments as business expenses and lower the ahs his tax liabilities he then used those untaxed a as profits to build his mansion and pay for his lavish personal expenses the maximum prison term mr. nacido faces is 32 years his lawyer said the government has been investigating his client and what he called a tax dispute case for nearly a decade look at that house look at that like that is not even right it is that big I just realized how crazy of a combo this bandanna and a pink hoodie is also a ten million dollar fine we'll be in effect but that still seems a little low in my opinion like I already stated the maximum prison term for mr. nacido is 32 years but defendants in federal court cases almost never get anywhere near the maximum especially in white-collar crime cases but should mr. no sino be convicted it is likely he will face prison time because of the scale of the fraud and the length of the time it went on currently this mega mansions still remains vacant neighbors have reported not seeing anybody enter or leave this home the government estimated it will need a month to try mr. nacido and his lawyer said he needs three weeks for a defense he also asked for an extension of time to review the evidence which is contained in 115 boxes at the IRS office the judge recognized the case which took ages years to put together is unusually complex and granted the request she also allowed mr. nacido to remain free on a 100 thousand dollar bond and travel for business to numerous cities around the nation also something to mention Joe nacido jr. has also been brought up on fraud scheme charges Zito's attorney said his client has cooperated with federal authorities and had no further comment it was supposed to be a one-of-a-kind statement of elegance but now this sprawling mansion will stand as a monument to greed in excess as its owner Jonas Ito may be taking up a new residence in federal prison but basically everyone thank you so much for watching I think that's where we're going to wrap it up and let me know what you feel about these voiceover videos because I also enjoy making these too this whole story in house was so epic I was like I'm gonna put it into a video tell the story and include the history and his pictures of this mega mansion I just thought I had to put it together in a video so for that being said I hope you guys enjoyed please follow all my social medias go ahead and check them out also peep the merch Calma grant com that's my last plug but I will see you in the next video later [Music] you [Music]
