out the lord and thanking god for another monday another service another day that the lord has kept us while we're on the air tonight and throughout the duration of this program i want to invite you welcome you to pick up the phone and dial 708 503 1140 and you can receive prayer and intercession we have counselors here tonight ready to take your call and to stand in the gap with you and for you i'm telling you god is a great deliverer and there is nothing that is too difficult for the lord to do i hope you're trusting god trust in the lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding acknowledge the lord in all of your ways and he will direct your path i love the verse that says the steps of a good man they are ordered by the lord and i'm trusting god we're standing in agreement with you all tonight that god will order your steps and that he will bless your life in jesus name we know that this is a very special time for women today was a national women's day amen and we just want to just thank god for all of the women of god that are watching the telecast hello to the men of god too but we want to dedicate the program to the women of god tonight and we want to thank god in a wonderful way we want to thank god for pastors wives tonight we want to lift up all of the the late the women of god the leading ladies of the church the churches around the nation and we just want to say a special prayer for them tonight and bless them tonight in jesus name if you know a pastor's wife or a minister's wife uh we want to ask you would you just send them a text and tell them to tune in to a time of intercession with pastor kimberly and with my sister cheryl i had to bring cheryl back because we had such a wonderful response on last monday night the saints were really blessed by cheryl and it's just such a joy to have you with us cheryl god bless you beloved bless you bastard so i want to begin cheryl by just asking you a question a very general question of the women in the bible and you know we love talking about the women in the scripture but is there one particular woman in the bible that just resonated with you when you think about women in the bible and some of the great characteristics of women i think um one of my favorite ladies of the bible is esther okay and she she did a lot of things she was really but one of the greatest lines of the bible to me yes it's when esther said she took on strength yeah she took on power she took on the spirit of god and she said yes if i perish uh-huh i perish come on now but i'm going to see the king yes and that's how we have to be today that's right we have to take on that kind of faith yes that kind of stamina that kind of courage that's right that kind of hope yes and uh we have to be strong in the lord enough to say come what may if i perish yes i perish but but i'm going i'm going to see the king and then when i get there i'm going to obtain faith of the lord all right amen and that she did yes amen the lord is so wonderful the story of esther about how the bible speaks of her being beautiful and how the lord gave favor with the kings yes that is so awesome to me well cheryl i have another question for you and it is in reference to pastors wives our family we were blessed to have aunts uh two particular aunts who were married to pastors yes and we were able to observe as we grew up some of the traits and characteristics of of women of integrity women of honor and i want to just ask you cheryl what would you say stood out to you about the pastor's wives and our family that that that you could share with our audience that would really inspire some of the women that are watching us tonight some of some of the areas that we saw even with with our aunts and how they served their their husbands but also they serve the church yes i think that one of the greatest characteristics that i saw in our aunts and then in pastors wives that we've known personally yes of course that they had um love and that they loved the people of god you know they loved their husbands they loved the the ministry that they were serving absolutely they just and they had a um a not only a love but they had a respect oh my goodness for their husbands and one thing one of our us one of the greatest lessons that i learned even from her yes um is that she always would tell the people if they would come to her for advice or come to her for questions yeah she would always tell them i'm not the pastor you did she would always tell them the pastors make an appointment to speak with the pastor it was not that she was putting them off right but she would speak what needed to be said but then she pointed them back to leadership that's right and i think that that's one of the greatest um things that a pastor's wife a minister's wife can do is to honor uh their pastor their husbands as the leaders yes cheryl what what is it that can happen if a pastor's wife becomes discouraged and negative what kind of impact can that have on the congregant or the congregation of the members of a church i think that um before they can get to that point they have to deal with the hurts because i think hurts drive them to push people away the hurts drive them to um you know and and then you there's so many different aspects of a pastor's wife because uh sometimes the men of god think that a pastor's wife or minister's wife is supposed to sit on the second row pretty right and that's it but i think that one thing that the men of god need to do is to respect their wives voice yes um they also need to know and and then even in the wives they have to know this too is that yes you have a voice but the ultimate decision is the pastors that's right and so you know and one of the major things that i think that will put a rift between the the couple the married couple the hus the pastor and the wife is that they have um really wonderful ideas they see when sometimes men just don't see you and it's not so much that they're driven by jealousy or they're driven by envy they just see what they see right and sometimes yes you the the husband needs to stop and listen to what their wife is saying sometimes the wife can be in prayer and one thing that i think that bugs me a lot about pastors sometimes is that the wife can come in and say honey the lord said um change the time from prayer from 7 15 to 7 30. and then but then somebody else comes in sashaying or whatever and they said you really should stop praying at 7 30 pastor because that's what we need 7 30. and then they change it how do you think that makes the wife feel right right you know and sometimes their their their words are of value oh absolutely and so i pray that even tonight that the pastor's wives take on um strength and take on um the the the essence of i want to help you i'm helping you to build yes and uh i still have a voice absolutely don't silence them and you know cheryl i want to speak to some of the pastors wives who have had husbands that have passed and there are some widow women of god that are watching us tonight sure what would you say to those women that work day and night to help build their husbands ministries and now their husbands have gone on to be with the lord what word of comfort would you give to those women who really really need to be encouraged after having given so much of their time their energy their love their loyalty and service to the church and now it seems almost like they're forgotten yes i would say to them one of the first things i would say is man may forget yes but god will never forget hallelujah and god is not going to forget the days that you sat up yes waiting on your husband to come home with the members of sick or issues going on at the church you know one thing that i really really really want to encourage pastors to do is to take care of your wives yeah because a lot of times i've seen um pastors that have built their churches and the wives have been right there with them right these services every banquet every dinner every prayer meeting every every revival they're right there with them right and something happens to that husband and they're not properly insured or they're not properly you know it's not set what goes on after i pass if something happens to me and a lot of times they're left just kind of dangling yeah and then the new regime that comes in it's like okay you can move now okay bye-bye but you know i think they should honor they should honor them yes you know and they should see about them absolutely you know make sure you it might take give them three years and take care of the mortgage or the household right right see about don't just push them out they've given their lives you're right to build the foundation of the church and then here you come swinging in on a solid foundation and then you push them aside you push the families aside and i just think that they you know you need to take a little more care especially those that are older absolutely you know that that that are you know frail now they're giving all and and now they need the the members they need the church and then a new pastor's wife comes in you know and it's like well some will say well that's the pastor's wife emeritus or whatever but sometimes there needs to be even um a relationship between those two to say i'm not gonna forget and i'm going to love you i'm going to pray for you and i think that you know that the church just ought to see about the pastor's wives i really agree with you cheryl and i i think about you know the lord has afforded us the opportunity to meet so many pastors wives that have been these stellar examples of strength of courage of the love of god i i was thinking just then in memphis tennessee of evangelist louise patterson who is elegant and such a lovely woman of god that we've met and that we respect so highly and we just want to say hello to pastors wives tonight those who were married to pastors that have gone on to be with the lord and those who are currently married we just want to just tonight take some time and encourage the women of god that have served alongside with your companion and those of you that are still serving faithfully i i know a pastor's a former pastor's wife and she said something that i will never ever forget in fact i was struck by it she said this cheryl she said that she lived her life in such a way before the people that she never wanted anyone to stumble sure and i just thought that was so powerful that that was one of the motivations behind her godly walk her godly life is that she knew that someone was watching and she never wanted anyone to backslide or to be offended or affected by something that she would have said or done to affect the congregation so i just really thank god you know for how we have observed in our lives such amazing women of god now i'm going to bring up another woman of god and i'll let you share further about her she's our grandmother she was over the pastor's aid and her job with every sunday our grandmother she would take care of the food and all of you know she would go in her own garden and make the greens and make the cabbage and the sweet potatoes and the corn and she took she literally took care of the pastor down south up and i just want to ask you cheryl what other traits did you see as it relates to service that you remember even with our grandmother who served our served her pastor well i think one of the greatest things that mother would do is um she would make sure that they were okay she did not just financially but she would see to them spiritually or naturally you know it was what is it that we can do to help you accomplish what god has given you to do right and so i think that um i don't want that to get lost you know we have pastors now they tend to push people away yes um but i think that you when you you bless the people when they're able to bless their leaders absolutely and i think that leaders need to be honored they need to be blessed and not sometimes you know you could just have a card shower it doesn't have to be a five day you know celebration sometimes the congregation can just say let's have a card shower right and bless first lady today exactly um i would say to to first ladies though that um don't take on the spirit that you've got to be this um grand poobah kind of dictator you don't have to be like that and then you don't have to be uh insecure either yes because a lot of times we've had to minister to what to pastors wives who've had to deal with the yeah the you know the the ladies that kind of overstepped their boundaries right right with their husbands and um i think that uh i had to fix that right did i say that right you said it right there praise the lord um i want to because you know sometimes the enemy he hates relationship yes then he hates a godly relationship absolutely and so we have to come against the marriage-breaking spirit you have to come against the division the strife absolutely the envy the jealousy yeah you know a lot of times they see pastors and they preach with the anointing and they you know they can turn a church upside down but nobody says anything about them going home and being real evil right you know they're putting up with a lot of things you know no one sees that no one sees you're right there there have been pastors wives who come and say my husband is bound by crack cocaine right and you're looking like they're not the way they preach yeah the way they preach but they're not in a position they they're not wanting to tear their husband down they're trying to pray to get help and deliver it absolutely and so i want to say to those pastors wives and those ministers wives you know um gifts and callings are without repentance but when god has his hand upon the lives of some of these men they have to go through certain stages to get to where god really wants them right and so if they're going through these things you know i would just say you know call tonight for prayer we've got intercessors here that's right then and sometimes you don't need to tell um your best buddy sometimes you just need to call and say to a prayer line and say i'd like prayer here because and here's the other thing when you are in a battle or in a struggle so to speak yes um especially when you're married to pastors and things like that yeah it's not good to go to the flock spewing yeah that negativity because see then you forgive the person y'all get healed and go on but the flock is sitting there but you remember he said with that right and so you don't want them to lose respect absolutely for the leadership and just like um those pastors wives are married and they they're they're the wife sometimes the wife is the pastor right and the husband has to be the one to understand that um they need to be a support and that there is a place for them in ministry but the the the woman is the pastor okay you know and so i think that um it just takes love and kindness compassion yes wholeheartedness and most of all respect absolutely respect well sean we know that life is a progression of changes yes the covet 19 has come in and it has really overtaken the world and we know that many people have not been able to go to church but it seems that things are moving or progressing toward the possibility of returning to some semblance of meetings be it 50 of the congregation or whatever and as we go back into the churches what is the foremost uh wisdom that you would share as we get ready to go back into possibly you know we don't know how long it'll take but what what major message would you give to people as we begin to have regular services again at some point what what what message would you give to i think that the first thing i would say is when they when you're able to get back in yeah go ahead on and give god that good praise i need you you need to be able to swing from the chandelier let the clock sisters reign hallelujah hallelujah and let the praise just go let's let them loose yes foot loose and fancy free amen but then you've got to understand that you're going to have to deal with the mental state right of the people their spiritual state might be you know but they've been they've been to 10 and 15 churches in an hour on social media so you're gonna have to draw all of that back in you know because they gonna come with you uh-huh and so um i think that the first thing is to see about the mental state of the people don't forget about the children amen because the children have been um in in the home schooling and on the computers they've not had the camaraderie of being with other children and so and so um just see about the people mentally right take one or two classes um that can teach you how to deal with it and then ask god to give you a divine revelation for where your flock is at that moment you know cheryl i find it fascinating that a lot of the children and young people have been doing the remote learning right and according to statistics a lot of the children have been failing because of not being able to really embrace the the zoom style of learning sure so we need to pray for the young people even as they are returning to school that they will be able to you know really to to to recover from the setback of what has happened with with coal and pastor they also need to uh to take into serious um concern that a lot of people have lost loved ones they weren't able to be with them you know in those final moments absolutely um they weren't able to have uh homegoing services as we know it right then you've got those that are walking about still in fear that are trying to deal with the kova absolutely you know and then um so i think that they need to just make sure and then pastors need to strengthen each other right through here too yeah um check on the pastors with the past amen you know you've got a brother that's a pastor call and see about him man how are you doing yes which way are you going when we open back up that's right let me pray for you you know absolutely i think that when you begin to let iron sharpen iron yes when the people aren't able to come back you're able to effectively minister in with clarity precision yes power stress yes you know and and being anointed to do it and don't be afraid to ask for help that's right well we believe that the lord uh spoke to us back during the consecration our church was fasting for 21 days at the beginning of the year and i just kept hearing the lord saying there's a brighter day coming yes that things are going to get better you know i i still have this optimism and this faith level that god is going to restore his people and there will be a resurgence a resurgence of the word of god of evangelism of prayer of deliverance and so again our focus tonight has been on the women of god the pastors wives we want to loose the love of god upon every pastor's wife that we know those of you that we've never met personally we want to send the love of god i i think about uh co-pastor susie owens yes in in d.c and the influence and the love that she has shown to our family over the years she's just been an example of strength and of power and just so many others i then just thought about uh first lady susan smith dr horace smith's wife she is such a gift to the body of christ in that she even helped uh with the decoration of the church after bishop of course and the congregation you know uh acquired a new building and uh sister susan was helpful with some of the architectural designs with bishop i mean and some of the design of the decor and she was just she just has an excellent spirit yes you know i just want to encourage women of god that are those leaders wives tonight and just to say to them that you are not forgotten you're not forgotten we just want to lose the love of god all the way in new york i mean we in california in arkansas wherever you are we want to just send the love of god to a lady melinda blue tonight amen from south carolina sister blue we love you so much and we appreciate you and so many others cheryl i i know that you know so many pastors wives sister danielle murray from dallas texas we send the love of god to you tonight in jesus name and cheryl is there any other pastor's wife that you would or woman of god that you just want to send the love of god to well i just thank the lord for all of the women of god because if you start calling oh yeah i don't want to get in trouble but i would like to say a special hello there is a lady that is in our neighborhood i believe her name is sister gillum um but her nephew came walking through and he said are you all gonna be on tv tonight you know it's like yes sir and you keep yes cause i was like what to say now but um i thank the lord so much for the the women of god tonight yes those prayer mothers the the praying mothers honey the church mothers the evangelists the missionaries and you know what those that are up and coming yes uh church but the the church was not i'm getting ready to be a church muslim that's all right yes it is evangelists and missionaries that are coming up under us be so encouraging amen and know that the spirit of god is upon you and uh he has anointed you to carry his message that's right and you can do it you can do it in jesus name we just have two minutes left on the air you know the time always flies on monday nights especially when you're with me we always have such a wonderful time yes but i just want you to just say cheryl a one-minute prayer for yes for our pastor's wives all right father in the name of jesus we thank you for these precious women of god on tonight and lord i ask that you would look on that precious wife now yes the one that is standing tall and standing strong the one that is smiling but in actuality her heart is hurting tonight father i ask that you would begin to bless those wives lord the ones that i just need an extra touch from you on tonight i ask that you would begin to breathe upon them even right now father i thank you now for touching in their minds their wills their emotions in the name of jesus those that have vision those that have ministry even locked up in them lord i ask that you would begin to let their husbands see them anew let them see them how god you see them in jesus name and my closest prayer is lord you do those husbands and wives like jesus prayed father make them one as you and i are one god i thank you now we bind up every marriage breaking spirit jesus we come against every spirit of destruction in the name of jesus christ father that wife that's taking care of that husband who is ill and on their bed of affliction strengthen them on tonight god in jesus name and lord let them begin this week to just spread love to other women in ministry in jesus mighty name father we thank you now we thank you that the holy spirit is moving through their rooms right now where they are in jesus name i pray amen and thank god amen we love you with the love of jesus we'll see you next week on a time of intercession yes hallelujah you
