are you ready to get into yaws word all right I am as well I want you to open your Bibles with me to first Peter chapter 2 we're gonna begin with verse 1 and I have entitled this message today a stone of stumbling a stone of stumbling and interesting title don't you think you say what does it mean well let's let the word preach it to for us today you'll you'll see what I'm talking about as we get into the scripture first Peter chapter 2 beginning with verse 1 it says having put aside then all evil and all deceit and hypocrisy and envyings and all evil words this is talking about the condition of the believer that when we get born again we're to put aside all evil and deceit out of our mouths and hypocrisy Xand envyings and evil words look at verse 2 as newborn babes desire the unadulterated milk of the word now that's very very important to this message today that it's our desire that we receive the unadulterated milk of the word the word is so important to the believer it's about the word it's not about man-made religion or traditions of men we have to ask the question what does the word say so the true believers are people who are about the word we are defined by the word can you say men desire have a desire for for the unadulterated milk of the word in order that you may grow by it that's the only way we're going to grow through the word if indeed you have tasted that the master is good in the master Yeshua is the embodiment of the word the Word made flesh drawing near to him to Yeshua a living stone rejected indeed by men so he was rejected by men by unbelieving Israel in particular but chosen everybody say chosen chosen by Elohim and precious we're talking about Yeshua you also you believers in Yeshua who believe and obey the word as living stones are being built up a spiritual house they set apart priesthood to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings or spiritual sacrifices acceptable to elegant through Yeshua Messiah so we are all living stones we are stone upon stone we are being built up a set apart habitation of the Almighty when we come together we are the Temple of the Most High L the Almighty indwells us by his Spirit Yeshua said if two or more gathered in my name there I am in their mid so you can count on the fact that Yeshua is here today and what is the purpose of our gathering to bring our spiritual sacrifices to the Almighty and the Torah says when you come before the Almighty you don't come empty handed or empty hearted so if you're a true believer you're not a spectator you've come with a sacrifice now we're not coming with bulls and goats aren't you glad you didn't have to drag a lamb down here today or a goat amen but you have the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving amen so we offer up our spiritual slaughter offerings and our prayer is that they are acceptable to Elohim through Yeshua Messiah look at verse 6 because it is contained in the scripture in what scripture this is shim ohn Kafar Simon Peter talking about the scripture is he is he referencing the quote New Testament here no there was no New Testament compiled at that time he's referencing the original Hebrew Scriptures all right see I lay and see on a chief Cornerstone we're talking about Yeshua being a precious stone chosen by Elohim he is the chief Cornerstone he's chosen and precious and he who believes on him shall by no means be put to shame now this is Peter quoting Isaiah chapter 28 and verse 16 it says believers those who believe now in the scripture believe always implies obedience one of the worst most demonic doctrines that are out there in the Christian Church today is the idea that you could just mentally ascend that Jesus is the Christ and and you're saved and that's all you have to do I call it the consumer gospel it's all about the consumer that the person is at the center of yaws world and yah revolves around the person to make sure the person has everything the person wants and needs I call it the doctrine of personal irresponsibility where you get all the goodies but you're not responsible for anything that's a demonic doctrine folks it's not biblical all right the scripture says he who believes on him but belief always implies obedience always in Scripture I taught many many times on that you can go back and look at our YouTube channel and pick up those messages verse 7 this preciousness this justification through Messiah that's the implication this justification through Messiah then is for you who believe those who believe unto obedience but to those who are disobedient notice it doesn't say to those who don't believe why doesn't it say that because the implication is if you disobey you don't believe let me say it again the implication of Scripture is if you disobey you do not believe so you cannot be what you call a believer and be disobedient believers obey hallelujah but to those who are disobedient notice the stone which the builders rejected the builders the religious leaders of Israel has become what the chief corner stone this is a quotation of psalm 118 verse 22 and a stone of stumbling so this is a stone that many people stumble over and who stumbles over this stone unbelievers yes the disobedient the disobedient stumble over this stone a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling another translation says a rock of offense that's Isaiah chapter 8 verse 14 who stumbled because what they are disobedient there it is to the word Israel stumbled because they were disobedient to the word those who had Torah disobeyed the Torah as it related to hearing Yeshua or the Prophet like Moshe that was a commandment they were to hear they were to Jamaa the Prophet like Moshe y'all say I'm going to put my words in his mouth he will speak what I tell him to say and I'm going to judge those who will not listen who stumbled because they are disobedient to the word to which they also were appointed verse 9 but you you believers are a chosen race that's Deuteronomy 10 verse 15 a royal priesthood that's Isaiah 61 verse 6 a set apart nation that's Exodus 19 verse 6 a people for possession that's Isaiah 43 verse 2 that you should proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light who once were not a people but now the people of Elohim talking about the one new man believing Jew and believing non Jew together worshiping the Almighty in Yeshua who had not obtained compassion but now obtained compassion again a quotation of Hosea chapter 1 verses 9 and 10 and Hosea chapter 2 verse 23 now go with me over to Romans chapter 9 beginning with verse 30 and Schaal or the Apostle Paul speaks in this passage of Messiah being a stone of stumbling for the Jews Romans chapter 9 verse 30 what shall we say then that nations speaking of the Gentiles go ye not following after righteousness are not having are being obedient to the Torah the instructions of the Almighty not following after righteousness have obtained righteousness even the righteousness of what belief belief under obedience verse 31 but each trial following after the Torah following after the instructions of the Almighty the Torah of righteousness has not arrived at the Torah of righteousness you could say or has not arrived at what the Torah teaches about righteousness through belief in and obedience to the Messiah they did not arrive at the tour of righteousness because they did not arrive at what the Torah teaches about righteousness through belief in and obedience to Yeshua that's just as much a command as any of the other Commandments I'll show it to you in just a moment verse 32 why why did they not arrive at the tour of righteousness because it was not a belief they didn't believe in Yeshua as taught by the Torah do you know the Torah teaches people to believe in Yeshua but as by works of Torah implying as by works of Torah alone apart from belief in Yeshua so they were keeping some of the Torah but they weren't keeping all of the Torah they were stumbling over the part of the Torah that taught them to Shema to hear and obey the Prophet like mo che that the Almighty was going to raise up from the midst of the people the almighty said I'm going to put my words in his mouth he's going to say what I tell him to say and you need to hear he and obey Him that's part of the Torah for they stumbled it says at the stone of stumbling they stumbled at the teaching about Yeshua that was in the Torah as it has been written CI layin see on a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling and everyone who is believing on him everyone who is obeying what the Torah teaches about him shall not be put to shame again a quotation of Isaiah chapter 8 verse 14 in Isaiah chapter 28 and verse 16 so what does the Torah say about Torah obedience let's look at it Deuteronomy chapter 6 beginning with verse 1 this is Moshe speaking and this is the command so this is what he was commanding them the laws and the right rulings which your Elohim has commanded to teach you to do in the land which you are passing over to possess so that you fear yah your Elohim to guard all his laws and his commands which I command you you and your son and your grandson all the days of your life and that your days be prolonged so Moshe is telling the people that they are to guard all the laws and all the commands including the one that tells the people that they are to Shema the Prophet like Moshe and that if they do that it will bring them life prolong days and you shall hear what do you think that word in Hebrew is that word here Shama and you shall Shama to hear and understand implying obedience and you shall hear o Israel and shall guard to do that it might be well with you and that you increase greatly as yah Elohim of your father's has to you in the land flowing with milk and honey here there's that word sham again here o Israel yah our Elohim yah is one this verse is called the Shema what I'm going to show you today is that the Torah itself has two Shabazz this is amazing stuff because the Shema of Deuteronomy 6:4 is the heart of Judaism the reason why unbelieving Jews stumbled is just that they did not believe in obey the part of the Torah that commanded them to Shema the Prophet like Moshe who is Yeshua they stumbled over that commandment he is a stone of stumbling first three and you shall hear Shema Oh Israel and shall guard to do that it might be well with you that you increase greatly as yah Elohim of your fathers have spoken to you in the land flowing with milk and honey verse four hear o Israel yah relevee bi is one and you shall love yo your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being and with all your might 4:6 and these words or you could say Shema these words hear and obey these words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart and you shall impress them upon your children and shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up and shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes and you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates see it's all about the word sounds a lot like what Shimon Kepha was saying in first Peter chapter 2 but can you imagine how ready and prepared they would have been if they would have included this commandment about the profit like mochi we're gonna get to that just a minute they would have been prepared for your shoe is coming verse 17 diligently guard the commands of Yahweh Elohim and his witnesses and his laws which he has commanded you and you shall do what is right and good in the eyes of yah that it might be well with you and you shall go in and possess the good land of which y'all swore to your father's to drive out all your enemies from before you as urine when your son asked you in time to come saying what is the meaning of the witnesses and the laws and the right rulings which Y our Elohim has commanded you then you shall say to your son we were slaves of Pharaoh and mitzrayim and yah brought us out of mitzrayim or Egypt with a strong hand and y'all sent signs and wonders great and grievous upon myths rahim upon Pharaoh and upon all his household before our eyes and he brought us out from there to bring us in to give us the land of which he swore to our fathers verse 24 and yah commanded us to do all these laws this is so important and y'all commanded us to do all these laws to fear yah our Elohim for our good always to keep us alive as it is today look at verse 25 and it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this command before yar Elohim as he has commanded us so Israel believed that if they obeyed the commandments it was righteousness if they observed the Torah it was their righteousness so when Shah who comes along later after Messiah is born and in the flesh and he's anointed of the father to speak the words of of Elohim and he is speaking what the Almighty says that the people should hear he goes to the tree he dyes his beard he's raised and Show comes along and says you have to sh'mon Yeshua and they say we have Torah why do we have to listen to Yeshua we don't need your your schewe we have Torah why are they saying that because the Torah says that if they are obedient to the tour that is their righteousness so there was a righteousness in Torah before Yeshua was manifested in the flesh on the earth and so you can see how the stumbling stone is being set up they're going to hang on to Turin mache and when shuttle comes along and teaches hey you need to Shema Yeshua they stumble at that commandment now let me show it to you in scripture Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 15 yah your Elohim shall raise up for you a prophet like me from your midst from your brothers listen to him what do you think the word is in Hebrew the word listen what do you think it is Shama Shama Yeshua Shamala prophet Shema the Messiah Judaism today put such an emphasis on the Shema of the words of the Father through Moshe but the Torah itself prophesized over time when there's going to be a change of administration that the people are commanded in the Torah shall Pauline come up with something new he was teaching this straight out of the Torah the Torah commanded the people that when the almighty raised up this prophet like Moses was a mediator of a covenant Yeshua is a mediator of a covenant Yeshua is like Moe che in that sense the people were commanded to Shema yeshuaa Shema he slyly Shema yeshua the prophet like moshe listen to him this is Deuteronomy 18 is it not Deuteronomy 18:15 yah your Elohim shall raise up for you a prophet like me this is Moshe speaking from your midst he's gonna be one of your brothers Shema him listen to him here in obey yeshua according to all you asked of yah your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly saying let me not hear again the voice of yah my Elohim nor let me see this great fire anymore lest I die so they wanted a mediator and y'all said to me what they have spoken is good I shall raise up for them a prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers and I shall put my words in his mouth how many of you believe the almighty put his words in Moshe his mouth and Moses his mouth all right so this is going to be a new administrator the almighty is going to speak his words and put his words in this new prophet and we're reading from Deuteronomy which is the Torah and it is telling the people that Yas going to put his words in this prophets mouth and he shall speak to them all that yah commands him I'm looking first nineteen and it shall be the man who does not listen what do you think the word listen is in Hebrew Shema and it shall be the man who does not see my who does not hear and obey to my words which he this prophet speaks in my name I require it of him I will hold him accountable and even if it's the entire nation of Israel who wanted to say our righteousness is based on tore observance but they ignored this commandment the almighty says I'm gonna put my words in this prophets mouth and he's gonna speak for me and if you don't listen to him and obey Him I'm gonna require it of you a stone of stumbling they did not believe and because they didn't believe they didn't obey look at John chapter 12 beginning with verse 44 here we see that Yeshua confirms that he is the sent one speaking the father's words listen to what he says here then you shoe a cried out and said he who believes in Me believes not in me but in him who sent me in other words if you believe in Yeshua you believe what the father said about Yeshua in his word you believe the one who sent him verse 45 and he who sees me sees him who sent me Yeshua came to represent the father in the earth I have come as a light into the world so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness and if anyone hears my words but does not watch over them does not obey them I do not judge him for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world he who rejects me and does not receive my words has one who judges him the word the word the Torah itself judges that person who rejects Yeshua the word the word that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day because I spoke not from myself but the father who sent me has given me a command what I should say and what I should speak by the way he said something similar to this seven times in the good news of John seven times that the words that he spoke were not his own but they were the words of the father who sent him verse 50 and I know that his command is everlasting life therefore whatever I speak as the father has said to me so I speak in other words whatever I say comes from the father so he confirmed that he was this prophet like mochi and he said the very words that he speaks will judge those who do not believe in those who disobey so go with me over to Romans chapter 2 we're gonna pick up with verse 12 this is really interesting shahu declares that the doers of the Torah are righteous why is that important because the Torah commands that Israel Shema herein obey or schewe the Torah commands the people to hear and obey Yeshua and so Showell comes along in Romans chapter 2 and verse 12 and says for as many as sinned without Torah speaking of the Gentiles they didn't have the Torah shall also perish without Torah so Torah obedience is the standard for judgment even if you didn't have it and you sinned sin is the transgression of the Torah you're gonna perish without the Torah alright and as many as sinned in the Torah that's the Jews that's his trial they had the Torah shall be judged by the Torah look at verse 13 for not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right well Christianity wants to divide the Bible put the great wall of division between what's called the Old Testament in the New Testament and everything left of Matthew has been abolished we just live out of the little sliver in the back of the book I call it the sliver mentality look the tour is the foundation for all scripture if you don't have an understanding of the Tora you can't even interpret the rest of the scripture correctly so people who say they just live out of the sliver in the back of the book they end up making stuff up because they don't have a foundation in the Torah and that's where religion is today but understanding that there is a commandment in the Torah that commands the people to Shema Yeshua gives Shah rule the latitude and the Liberty to say here it's not the hearers of the Torah the Jewish people Israel who heard the Torah that are righteous in the sight of Elohim but the obedient ones the ones who obey the Torah because if you obey the Torah you will come to your Scheuer for righteousness if you obey the Torah the Torah will lead you to your schewe so we're going to deliver a deathblow to this idea that quote the Old Testament is at war with the quote New Testament that's utter religious nonsense based on people who don't have a foundation in scripture so they're making stuff up I say that with a smile on the face the Torah commanded that the people Shema are here in obey the Prophet like Moshe which is Yeshua so those who did not Shema Yeshua were disobedient to the Torah go with me to Luke chapter 24 we'll pick up with verse 36 this tells us that the tour of the prophets and the writings were written about Yeshua says then as they were saying this Yeshua himself stood in the midst of them this was after the resurrection and said to them peace to you and being startled and frightened they thought they had seen a spirit and he said to them why are you troubled why do doubts arise in your hearts see my hands and my feet that it is I myself handle me and see for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have and saying this he showed them his hands and his feet and while they were still not believing for joy and marveling he said to them have you any food here and they gave him a piece of broiled fish and some honeycomb and taking it he ate in their presence and he said to them these are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you that all have to be filled that were written in the what Torah of Moshe and the prophets and the telling the Psalms concerning me so the Torah and the prophets and the Psalms were written about Yeshua the Torah and the prophets and the Psalms are the three witnesses to the Messiah you see out of the mouths of two or three witnesses every word is established and religion comes along and wants to abolish the witnesses to Messiah you don't know what you're doing when you do that Messiah does not have a legal leg to stand on without his witnesses he has his witnesses whether religion wants to abolish them or not and his witnesses are the Torah the prophets and the can you say men then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures again implying the original Hebrew Scriptures and said to them thus it has been written and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day and their repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations beginning at Jerusalem sounds very much like a quote New Testament message but there was no New Testament so they were preaching Yeshua and they got all the truth about Messiah and the plans and the purposes of the almighty straight from the Torah and the prophets and the writings so how can you put them at war with the opposite writings but it happens every day of the world in religion all right go with me back over to Roman's Romans chapter 3 we're gonna pick up with verse 21 this talks about a righteousness of Elohim that's through belief in Yeshua now did we already establish that there was a righteousness in Torah the religion will say no there was never any righteousness in Torah because Torah only points out sin and people don't realize that within the Torah was a sacrificial system built in so that when people missed the mark they could obey the Torah and being right standing with the Almighty now the blood of bulls and goats do not take away sin but it covers sin so they were still waiting for the death of Messiah so that his blood could remove sin but if they if they died in belief in an effort to obey the Torah if they offered their sacrifices when they missed the mark and they prayed when that High Priest went in to the holy of holies on Yom Kippur Reem every year that he come out successfully when they died their sins were covered and they were awaiting the blood of Messiah to perfect their righteousness look at Romans chapter 3 beginning with verse 21 but now everybody say but now but now what what's he talking about now that Messiah has come now that the prophecy of Deuteronomy 18 has come to pass now that the Almighty has raised up a prophet like Moshe from your midst and the almighty put his words in his mouth and he spoken those words and he's gone to the tree he's taking your sin and he's paid your death penalty and he's taking the death out of the law for those that would believe upon him amen but now now that all of these things have happened apart from Torah apart from Torah observance without belief in Yeshua as commanded in the Torah in other words if you want to hang on to the old administration you're in a bad way if you want to hang on to Moshe and forget about Yeshua you're in a bad way you're hanging on to a former righteousness that no longer exists because there's a new righteousness in the Prophet like Moshe Yeshua but now apart from Torah a righteousness of Elohim has been revealed being witnessed by the Torah and the prophets what does that tell you the Torah and the prophets taught about the righteousness of Yeshua this righteousness by belief in Yeshua was revealed by the Torah and the prophets and the righteousness of Elohim is through what belief but belief that produces obedience belief in Yeshua Messiah to all and on all who what believe believe what believed the Torah you say what do you mean by that believed the commandment in the Torah that pointed people to Yeshua believe in Yeshua who is the prophet like Moshe believe what he says obey what he says Amen for there is no difference in other words all must believe for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim being declared right without paying that means without working in Torah apart from belief by his favor through the redemption which is in Messiah Yahshua whom elohim set forth as an atonement through what belief in his blood to demonstrate his righteousness because in his tolerance elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before in other words they were covered by the blood of bulls and goats but those sins had not been removed to demonstrate at the present time his righteousness that he is righteous and declares righteous the one who has belief in yeshua hallelujah are you glad to be justified through your belief in your shoe verse 27 where then is the boasting it's shutout by what taurah by what law about what principle of works look if you're working for it you have a reason to boast in that right no but by the taurah or the law or the principle of belief for we reckon that a man is declared right by belief without works of taurah a more clear translation of that word without is apart from for we reckon that a man is declared right by belief apart from works of Torah all right because in all reality if they're hanging on to works of Torah they have broken the Torah in not believing in your schewe well I'm righteous because I've got Torah yeah but your Torah disobedient if you reject Yahshua you are Torah disobedient there's no righteousness for you you are not found righteous if you reject a Torah commandment that points you to Yeshua look at verse 29 or is he the elohim of EA who deem only in other words those who had the torus is he the the elohim of only those who had the Torah and not also of the nations those without the Torah yes of the nations also since it is one Elohim who shall declare right the circumcised that's the Jews by belief and the uncircumcised through belief see this righteousness is a belief belief that produced his obedience but but once that point is made that there's a new righteousness in Yeshua that's not based on Torah but it's based on belief in this prophet that the almighty raised up who is anointed to speak the words of Elohim once we've made that point then then how do we handle the Torah what do we do with the Torah does that mean the Torah is abolished is it is it no longer in effect verse 31 do we then nullify or bring to nought or abolish the Torah through the belief in other words does our belief in Yeshua abolish the Torah because our belief in Yeshua nullify the Torah the question had to be asked because because it appears once you build the case that righteousness is not by Torah obedience apart from obeying the commandment that says that you need to Chama Yeshua which is what the Jews were saying we're righteous because we have Moshe and we have the Torah once you establish that that's not a true righteousness then you have to ask the question well then does our belief our belief in Yeshua nullify the Torah what a show we'll say let it not be or absolutely not on the contrary means the exact opposite is true we are belief in Yeshua mr. Torah how can your obedience to the Torah abolish the Torah did we not show you the commandment in the Torah that when this prophet is raised up you are to Shema him and if you don't hear and obey Him you will be judged there will be no righteousness for you how can your Torah obedience about a Satoru it doesn't it establishes the Torah it says the Torah is true can you say Amen but we have to see also that shall rule understood that when our justification is in belief in Yeshua that it is I believe that produces obedience that's important because you can't throw covenant out the window that's what modern religion has done it's thrown covenant out the window all right covenant is between two parties covenant is based on promises made and promises kept all right in Yeshua the Almighty has his covenant marital vows he promises to hear and answer our prayers and fulfill all the promises of his word our side of the Covenant is to have a what a belief that produces obedience why have the word if you're not required to obey it why have it hallelujah look at Ephesians chapter 2 starting with verse 8 for my favor you've been saved through what belief and that not of yourselves it is the gift of Elohim it's not by works not by Torah observance alone apart from belief in Yeshua by the way if you obey and believe in Yeshua you are obeying the Torah it's not by works so that no one should boast for we are his workmanship he's the one working created in Messiah shoo up look at the next few words unto good works now who gets to decide what constitutes good works do we make a committee we put together a committee and we define ourselves what good works are no good works are defined by the Torah so your righteousness comes when you believe in Yeshua but your belief which justifies you is unto good works as defined by the scripture so the obedience component is not removed as many religions say it is all right it's unto good works notice which elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them what does that mean good works were prepared beforehand that we should walk in them people want to say oh that's just the plan of the almighty for you it's just his plan for you and you you're supposed to walk in the good things that he's planned for you to walk in again when you don't have a foundation in Torah what do you end up doing making stuff up okay let me ask you the question what was prepared beforehand what came first you know the old question what came first the chicken or the egg what came first the Torah or Yeshua being born as a baby on this planet alright so the good works were prepared beforehand were they not before the manifestation of Yeshua on the earth there was a system of laws and right rulings that represented the nature and the character of the Almighty and he said when you come into my land this is the way you're going to live let me ask you a question when we get into his land when you sue it comes back do you think he's going to change his policies I am yah I changed all over the place is that what the Bible says I am yah I changed not the scripture says about Yeshua he's the same yesterday today and forever he's a firm foundation you can build your house on him amen you cannot trust somebody who's changing all over the place all right the almighty doesn't change so when we get into the land we're going to live by his principles and policies before we get there we do our best to live by them as well all right John chapter 5 verse 30 now this is your schewe it's as if your shoe and knew I was going to be preaching this sermon today because he's going to validate everything I'm saying if Israel had believed the Torah they would have believed in Yeshua Yeshua actually said that John chapter 5 verse 30 Yeshua said of myself I am unable to do any matter see he was the representative of the Almighty on the earth he came to do the will of the Father there wasn't two wills going on at the same time the will of the Father and the will of your schewe you know and they split up and came back together again and all that Yahshua came to do the will of the Father period he says I can't do anything without the father as I hear I judge and my judgment is righteous because I do not seek my own desire that means will but the desire of the father who sent me what's he doing pointing back to Deuteronomy 18 he's telling these Jews who are contending with him that he was sent by the Father he's saying to them I am the fulfillment of the prophecy in the tour of Deuteronomy 18 that's some heavy stuff I do not seek my own desire but the desire of the father who sent me if I bear witness of myself my witness is not true why does he say that because he's saying out of the mouths of two or three witnesses every word must be established and one witnesses not enough he said why would he say that because he obeyed the Torah you can't establish anything at the mouth of one witness so he's saying if there's only one witness if I'm my only witness then what I say is not established it's not true there has to be more witnesses so he's going to build that case here there is another who bears witness of me and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true so there's two witnesses Yeshua witnesses of himself and then he's got this other witness you have sent to yoke nine and he bore witness to the truth so he's saying John the Baptist is a is one of my witnesses but notice what he says in verse 34 this is strong stuff but I do not receive witness from man but I say this in order that you might be saved in other words you need to listen to what John had to say you'll be saved if you listen to what he said but when it comes to me standing and in the high court of heaven I don't need man's witness I've got other witnesses but for your sake you better listen to John verse 35 he was the burning and shining lamp and for a while you wish to rejoice in his light but I have a greater witness than that of Johan for the works that the father gave me to accomplish the works that I do bear witness of me that the father has sent me and the father who sent me he bore witness of me you have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his form he says I've got all the mrs. I need and they're not from men verse 38 and you do not have his word staying in you because you do not believe in him whom he sent in other words you're disobeying the Torah you embrace the Torah you you rely on the Torah you saying you have righteousness in Torah but you disobey the Torah because you don't believe on the one the Almighty sent you search the Scriptures what scriptures the original Hebrew Scriptures the tour of the prophets the writings because you think you possess everlasting life in them you putting your emphases on the scriptures in the sense of just for the sake of the Scriptures and you're not even paying attention to whom the scriptures point and these are the ones that bear witness of me but you do not desire to come to me in order to possess life in other words you are disobedient to the Torah I do not receive a steam from men but I know you that you do not have the love of Elohim in you all right so you prove your love for Elohim by obeying his Commandments then you should say if you love me keep my Commandments so so how is it that he could say you don't even love the father because he's he's already implied that he is the Prophet like motion Deuteronomy 18 but he's declaring to them your Torah disobedient and because your Torro disobedient you don't have the love of the father in you because if you loved him you'd keep his Commandments and he commanded you to Shema me verse 43 I have come in my father's name and you do not receive me if another comes in his own name him you would receive in other words you would receive some prominent rabbi who came in his own name but I came in my father's name and you don't receive me how are you able to believe they said they believed when you are receiving esteem from one another your striving to be praised by men and accepted by man-made religion how can you believe the word when you're more interested in pleasing men and religion and following tradition how are you going to believe the word about me when you're more concerned about one another and the esteem or the validation that is from the only Elohim you do not seek do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father there is one who accuses you and one other passage he said the word accuses them but he says here mo che in whom you have set your expectation all your hope is in Moshe but the righteousness of the Torah is no longer righteousness you must obey the Torah and find your righteousness in the one the Torah pointed to that would be me if you obey the Torah you would come to me let me read that again do not think that I shall accuse you to the father there is one who accuses you how would you like to have Moshe accusing you before the father in whom you have set your expectation for if you believed Moshe you know what he's saying you don't believe Moshe you don't believe the Torah you're hypocrites you're liars if you believe Moshe you would have believed me since he wrote about me he wrote about me in the Torah that's what he's implying but if you do not believe his writings how shall you believe my words you're disobedient to the Torah as it relates to the Prophet like mochi mochi commanded them in the Torah to Shema Yeshua to hear and obey Yeshua now quickly Romans chapter 10 starting with verse one Messiah is the goal of the Torah see when you begin to understand what I'm talking about today you can begin to understand Showell if you if you get all confused when you reach charlotte's because you lack understanding he's talking on a whole nother level and you got to get some revelation when you when you get the revelation that he had then what he says starts to make sense but if you're approaching Paul by what religion has taught you again what are you going to do make stuff up okay Romans chapter 10 verse 1 truly brothers my heart's desire and prayer to Elohim for syl is for deliverance are for salvation he wants Israel say for I bear them witness that they have an ardor a zeal for Elohim but not according to knowledge not according to true knowledge of Scripture ok more based on tradition and man-made religion for not knowing the righteousness of Elohim that comes by hearing and obeying Yeshua and seeking to establish their own righteousness through Torah observance without hearing and obeying Yeshua they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of Elohim or they did not obey the Torah concerning Messiah Yeshua for Messiah is the goal during Bible may say the end and what his religion do with that it says the Torah is terminated it's abolished it no longer exists but in light of what I've been preaching finally shall make sense right here all right for Messiah is the goal the word there is Talos not the end like in termination but the goal or the purpose the end purpose of the Torah on to righteousness to everyone who believes all right believes what number one believes the Torah believes the commandment in the Torah that points to Yeshua that says to Shema Yeshua okay for Messiah is the goal or the end purpose Messiah is the finish line so to speak for the Torah if you're obeying the tour if you understand the Torah the Torah will lead you to Messiah if you have a proper interpretation of the of the Torah the Torah will take you to Messiah if you don't have a proper interpretation of the Torah then Messiah will be a stumbling stone to you you will fall all over that stone yeshua summed it up he says all you're concerned about is the praise of men you want to be thought well of amongst your peers you're more concerned with the traditions of men and men made religion why don't you obey the Bible if you obeyed the Bible if you really listen to moshi-moshi a would tell you to Shema me is it beginning to make sense for you for Messiah is the goal of the Torah unto righteousness it leads you to the righteousness of elohim in yeshua verse 5 for moshe writes about the righteousness which is of the torah we talked about that there is a righteousness of the torah but that was before Yeshua was manifested before he was born the man who does these shall live by them that's Leviticus chapter 18 verse 5 that is true you don't have to make excuses for that verse in religion we like to make excuses for that well nobody could obey Him so it didn't bring any life it just pointed out everybody's sin but it is truth all of y'all's word is truth and all his rights as right rulings are for how long forever we don't have to make excuses so there was a righteousness of the Torah but that was before Messiah came but the righteousness of belief speaks in this way do not say in your heart who shall ascend into the heavens now he's going to begin to teach about justification through belief by favor through belief or as we know from our upbringing by grace through faith he's going to begin to teach that principle now most people believe most Christian people believe that shall got some new revelation then he's teaching this whole new thing that runs contrary to everything that was taught in the original Hebrew Scriptures but I'm going to show you as we read through this that show rule is simply quoting the Torah justification by grace through faith by favor through belief is a Torah prints of all it's a Torah principle but the righteousness of belief speaks in this way do not say in your heart who shall ascend into the heavens that's Deuteronomy 30 verse 12 that is to bring Messiah down or who shall descend into the abyss that is to bring Messiah up from the dead but what does it say what does what say what does the Torah say the word is near you in your mouth and in your heart he's quoting Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 14 that is the word of belief which we are proclaiming it's in the Torah he never stopped preaching the Torah folks verse 9 that if you confess with your mouth the master Yeshua and believe in your heart that elohim has raised him from the dead you shall be saved for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved because the scripture says here's his basis for what he's talking about the original Hebrew Scriptures say this whoever puts his trust in him shall not be put to shame and that is Isaiah chapter 28 verse 16 because there is no distinction between yahoodi Jew and Greek for the same master of all is rich to all those calling upon him for everyone who calls on the name of yah yah yoshua meaning yah saves shall be saved and that's a quotation of Joel chapter 2 verse 32 now quickly verse 14 how then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard and how shall they hear without one proclaiming and how shall they proclaim if they are not sent as it has been written how pleasant are the feet of those who bring the good news of peace who bring the good news of the good he's quoting Isaiah chapter 52 in verse 7 look at verse 16 however not all believed the good news for yes Yahoo or Isaiah says yah who has believed our report that's isaiah 53:1 so then belief belief in Yeshua as Messiah comes by hearing now this is the Greek equivalent of the word Shamar belief in Yeshua comes by sha myung if I could say it that way by hearing and obeying hearing and obeying what the scripture it begins in the Torah if you have a foundation in Torah you know the tour is going to point to Yeshua Yeshua is the Prophet like like mo che who's anointed to speak the words of the almighty and the Almighty says I'm going to judge you I'm gonna hold you accountable for for believing and obeying his words it's a prophecy of the changing of administration's from mo che from Moses which was in the flesh by the letter to Yeshua which is the spirit amen believe comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Elohim so hearing and obeying the Torah prophets and writings but I asked did they not hear yes indeed the Gentiles especially heard their voice went out to all the earth and their words to the ends of the world that Psalm 19 verse 4 verse 19 but I asked that Israel not know first Moshe a says I shall provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation speaking of the Gentiles I shall enrage you by an unwise nation and we learned last week that an unwise nation is a Torah less nation it's a Torah less people because the tour itself says that the Torah is the wisdom of the people it's the wisdom of the people says I shall enrage you by an unwise nation that's Deuteronomy 32 verse 21 and yes you Yahoo boldly says I was found by those not seeking me I was made manifest to those not asking for me that's Isaiah 65 verse 1 and to east trial he says all day long I have stretched out my hands to a what disobedient and back-talking people that's Isaiah 65 verse 2 so the word disobedient also means unbelieving if you look into the original language he says all day I've stretched out my hands to a disobedient or an unbelieving and back-talking people what did they not believe they didn't believe the Torah that they thought would bring them righteousness they may have believed a lot of it in the sense of you know they understood some of the commandments and they were very adamant about the commandments they built hedges around the commandments and hedges and hedges and hesitant hedges all that man-made religion but they stumbled over the stumbling stone of Messiah that's found in the Torah the very thing they put their trust in they did not believe and they disobeyed they did not Shema yeshua and to this day the jewish people the SMAW is the heart of their religion the fact is there are two shamar's in the torah the one says okay mo Shaye's my man for this season listen to him I wanted to speak to you directly but you weren't having any of it so mo che and then mo che says yeah but there's coming a time when he's gonna raise up another prophet like me and he's the one to listen to so what is mo che say Moshe is actually witnessing to Yeshua mo che is saying do you need to hear you schewe you remember when they stand before the Almighty in the court the High Court of of judgement the word and mo che are going to accuse them because they wouldn't Shema Yeshua and they stumbled over the rock of stumbling
