hey you guys doing today it's so good to be alive I want to welcome everyone in all of our campuses mosaic all over the world so excited to see what God is doing in South Pasadena and in Venice Beach Seattle Mexico City Quito and Hollywood I wants to take a moment and pray together before we dive in father thank you so much that you are the god of the new that everything you touch becomes now you've never run out of an idea you've never run out of a solution you are the god of the future and a hope you got we pray that that even today you would take us from the old to the new that you would surprise us with a future we could not even imagine you got to pray for those who are listening across the world who maybe online or on sitting in their office their home running on their treadmill wherever they may be god I pray that in this moment you would just arrest them with your presence that you would God just stop them in their tracks they would know that you have met them where they are you're ready to take them where they cannot go without you we thank you Jesus the 2000 years ago you stepped into human history on our behalf but today we pray that you would crash into our history in this moment and change our futures we pray in Jesus name Amen let me just thank God one more time for today and you can have a seat so we've been looking together for the past several weeks at the idea of a new you and I I think this is a universal longing to be something new someone new and doesn't change because if you became a new you last year you're ready for your new year this year if you can look back on your life and hope you can that you can look back on your own journey and go well there was a time in my life I wasn't Who I am right now there was a time in my life where I was an old version of me and I'm the new version of that old me but now I'm ready now for a new version of this old me because the wonderful thing about new is that if you hold on to the new it becomes old and so there has to be a continuous renewing of who you are or you lose the new which is both I guess discouraging and encouraging right so that maybe discourage you because if you grab the new right now and you actually succeed in that process it's gonna be old and you're gonna need to keep moving to the new but stepping into the new is almost like a learned skill once you break from the old and move into the new it becomes easier and easier and easier to know how to move from the old to the new to move from the old to the new and and it's a wonderful part of the process of life but one of the challenges sometimes especially when you're in a new faith it is is how do you bring all these different worlds that suddenly you find yourself to be a part of together in fact when you look at these moments in the scriptures where people have a life-changing encounter with Jesus it's almost as if you're watching one of these epic films and I would call it when worlds collide because there's this journey that you have to engage in which I would call integration here's a part of the new you is creating a new world because you are part of a world that you may be unaware of but you created you you have a world not the world not the whole world not the entire planet but you have a world and your choices your decisions your life journey your experiences have created that world and and when you have a life-changing encounter with Jesus a new world begins to emerge and and have you ever felt like you're trying to hold multiple worlds together at the same time I remember when I was in college I was a part of this church out in the country and and there's ranches and horses and grass and things that Angelenos are unaware of but it's really really beautiful out there and they always did this this little talk for children and the pastor would would sit down on the staff and he would bring all the children up and and then he would always ask some questions and let them answer their questions and I I never forgot this one particular moment because he was he's trying to make a point and and he was talking about a world that they knew he said when you sit on a horse and almost all those kids have already had that experience he said when you pull the left rein which way does the horse go and the kid and and he picked one and they said goes to the left he was that's right that's it everybody was all excited and and then it said okay now when you pull the right rein which way does the horse go and they like I know I know I know and he picked a different child it was closer to right and there was like he goes yes and everybody's all cheering oh this is so beautiful and he goes all right now when you pull on both reins what does the horse do and you know what the horse does right I hope you know and all the kids raised their hands are so excited and he picked the kid and he goes it goes both ways which missed his entire point and because when you by the way if you don't know when you pull both reins the horse stops but I wonder if there wasn't wisdom and what was seen through the eyes of a child because what happens so often times in our in our faith journey when we have an encounter with God is that there's a life that we had before Jesus and it pulls us in one direction and now there's this life that you have with Jesus and it's pulling us in another direction and what ends up happening is if you're pulling both the reins at the same time is it well it feels like you go both ways but what you actually experience as you stop and you no longer fit well in either world so I wanted to pick up on where we left off in our last conversations I mean looking at first the optics that are necessary to have new lenses for a new you and then we looked at the essentials that are necessary to create a new standard in your life for the new you but but what I want us to look at now is is is how when those worlds start colliding how you have to decide which world you're going to create so I want you to go with me and we're gonna look at one of the early encounters of Jesus with with Levi who's also a tax collector and we looked at Zacchaeus last week so there's a theme of tax collectors and in mark chapter 2 beginning in verse 13 mark tells us this once again Jesus went outside beside the lake a large crowd came to him and he began to teach them as he walked along he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collectors booth follow me Jesus told him and Levi got up and followed him while Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples for there were many who followed him when the teachers of law who were the Pharisees saw him eating with sinners and tax collectors they asked his disciples why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners on hearing this jesus said to them it is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick I have not come to call the righteous but sinners now there are several themes here that really in many ways almost integrate with what we were talking about in our previous conversation we looked at the life of Sakhi us which I think it's consistent because whenever a person has a life-changing encounter with Jesus there are some consistent themes they're going to take place and what you begin to experience will feel like it's only you but it's everyone who's ever been on that particular journey because you end up having this this this feeling as if you're being torn apart do you remember those moments when you renew your faith and you just felt like there is this and there are these ropes that are anchored to your soul and they're pulling you in different directions and and and sometimes you made a choice based on on one rein being pulled and sometimes you made the choices based on the other arraign being pulled and and and some days you just didn't know who you were I think one of the great challenges is that the new you only emerges when you actually move to a level of integrating your life where you know who you are it is way too exhausting to be multiple people in the same life III know it's it's tricky because sometimes it doesn't feel like you can be different people because you know you're you're if you're a guy like you're different you're different person with your pros you know you hang out with the guys you're a different guy with your girlfriend and you would never talk to the guys when you talk to your girlfriend and you you know with the guys like can you believe that you know little women is even a thing and you know with your girlfriend you're like oh let's go see little woman you know and you you're not the same person in different environments in different worlds right and and at work you're one person and maybe at home you're another person in fact I think it's amazing sometimes when you go see someone at work and they're just so disciplined and so structured they have it all together then you go to their house and their house is a rack you know it's like you know their bedrooms the disaster or their car is the rack and and sometimes we have a hard time integrating who we are and anyway if you're not careful you may not know which one of all those use that you're bringing into all those different rooms is really and this can be even more I think debilitating when you're a person of faith because when you enter into a space where everyone's for you and they're all for your faith and you're singing and you're worshiping and you're making declarations together it's so easy to believe right it's so easy to know who you are in moments like this but is this who you are in moments that are not like this and and and sometimes it's not because of what we say it's what we don't say have you ever been in a room and you didn't want to really speak your heart or speak your mind because you feel like the room was completely against the way you saw the world and so you thought I just won't say anything I just won't say anything and no one will know that I think everyone else in the room is out of their minds all right all right I have a different view of things or that I see the world differently and and when you start choosing silence you are actually allowing their world to choose the landscape in which you become a citizen it's not mean it doesn't mean you're not respectful it doesn't mean that you don't appreciate other people's positions it just means that you need to be careful not to create a false version of yourself so that people can accept you because when you are a false version of yourself you're not actually being accepted that false version of you is being accepted in the moment they know the real you you'll find yourself in the same dilemma you were trying to avoid the entire time so here you have Levi and his whole life has one momentum Levi who's Matthew he's a tax collector and we already know that a collectors are not in the top ten most appreciated occupations in the world and and and so we know that it's an arena of corruption and greed and and and and it's this intersection between the Roman world and the Hebrew world and and there's seen us sellouts and traitors and and hypocrites they become everything that everyone despised them for whatever reason Jesus had a huge affinity for people who are like that it seems as if Jesus called out people who were trapped in the intersection of identity and said I know you don't know who you are I want to call you to be who you're created to be and because Levi out and I think it's so beautiful how the narrative just so quickly moves to a collision of worlds as Jesus was walking along he saw Levi sitting at the tax collectors booth he said follow me I don't know if you said more than that but it's a pretty like succinct conversation follow me and and Levi got up and followed him and so I was a little hard to really convince believe I just went he was ready and then right away it says while Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house it doesn't even tell us what's going on here it's Sardis let's follow me and next thing you know Jesus is eating at Levi's house and and and it was just like Sookie is he says the kiss I need to be at your house today clearly must have a conversation with Levi said you know we need dinner we need a place to have dinner any suggestions he goes you want to come to my house because I think it's a great idea so right now see Kim and I have this ongoing crisis conflict conversation in our marriage because she'll invite people over without asking me and she thinks it's okay but if I invite people are with asking her it's not okay and we all have fights all the time about it why didn't you tell me they were coming why didn't you give me a heads-up why even give any warning or Gani you invited a bunch of people cuz yeah but I'm the one cleaning the house to prepare for them and I'm doing cooking for them so it's okay if I don't tell you what are you gonna do thank you [Laughter] just but if you're inviting people you don't care I don't just come on over if it's a mess it's a mess you know it looks good to me you know it's just what you need to prepare for them all they can bring their own food you know they can leave hungry it's okay they could comment but no she has to go through the whole thing she goes through the whole southern hospitality and see the house has to be mad she cleans the upstairs no one's going upstairs but psychologically she needs to know that just in case someone goes into our bedroom to the closet that it's clean and like it's really okay let's just clean the one spot where we're gonna set and he'll be alright and but when you invite someone to your house do you take time to prepare before you invite them over because Kim will just absolutely just destroy me if I just said hey let's just go on over and imagine if you're inviting Jesus right this is the first time he's gonna come to your house who I I think you would kind of prepare what it looked like how clean it was and and by the way who was coming who you invited do you have friends who aren't friends with each other anybody you know you you like this person and you like this person but this person does not like this person so you can't invite them both to the same thing so you didn't find a boat to your house but not on at the same time so if she's coming over on Friday then she has to come over on Saturday because you're not going or he because they used to date and they're both your friends but now you can't invite them at the same time is this getting way too close to home and so you have to like pay attention to who's going to be there and if you're inviting Jesus well how much more would you pay attention to who you're inviting and Levi invites Jesus and he seems like absolutely out of touch with who he should invite or maybe he's completely in touch because his house is full of tax collectors and sinners there's a good reason for that that's the third it's the only people he knew like the only person's gonna hang with the tax like there's another tax collector right you know and only person's gonna hang out with you as a person who's like you and with me a person who's like me and so he invites all of his friends that's his world and then there's some others that Pharisees now I think it's interesting that at this party at Levi's house there are Pharisees there I cannot imagine for one minute that there's a single Pharisee that was friends with Levi and I don't think for a second there a friend that Levi would say oh my friends a Pharisee that's what he does for a living it is his occupation I have a feeling the Pharisees just crash the party I don't think they felt they needed to be invited they they they came in with the crowds of people and it says there were so many people there and there's so many tax collectors and sinners because they were following Jesus wherever he went he had this huge following and there were many there and this party was happening and I I have a friend and he's in fact he's he and his wife are starting our church in Quito Ecuador and under sadhana and before they came to Jesus they were known all over the country for their parties they threw huge parties for their company and and and it was not maybe the kind of party they're throwing now you know and so now they're starting a church and they're in been inviting people to their home they've had up there like 200 people in their house on Sundays and and at first when they start inviting people to their new kind of party it was a little confusing there's something's missing and and they still know how to have a lot of fun I just changed the environment and the context you know and material for fun and this is one of those moments where people came to Levi's house expecting a certain kind of experience and now they're Levi's house getting a very different kind of experience and this is where we see this incredible insight on on how to integrate your life so that you can create a new world the first thing I think you have to do to bring healthy integration is you need to invite your past into your future which is sometimes different than what we're taught when I became a follower of Jesus I don't know why but um the Christians that were in my life had this kind of like destroy everything mentality yeah III was a philosopher and so I had endless philosophy books I don't think any of my philosophy books were written by people who believed in God and I had lots of albums I mean classic priceless albums long play and I come to faith that nerves like Nina you get rid of all those books those book you know only book you need is the Bible right and even though you're at you know a university and you're getting gonna get your masters we just need the Bible and pencil and then no no you don't need all those albums and I'm like wow they're like vintage you know Beatles and Rolling Stones and and and you know you gotta get all that so I'm new and I'm trying to be sincere and I'm trying to get it right and I'm trying to be a part of a new world and a new me so I I get rid of everyone on my philosophy books I mean just tons and tons and then all my science fiction books gone and all my vintage Heinlein and Bradbury and Norton and as enough just gone and and all I mean my 20 copies of Walden all gone and all of those books because I'm trying to be faithful to Jesus and and and create space for my new world and then the album's I'm still I'm still reeling in the pain and 40 years later I'm still traumatized by all those beautiful albums that I remember I was dating this girl and we're sort of sort of like in life transition and and she was confused because I was a person who didn't even consider God now I'm all about God and and I tell I have to get rid of all my albums just like give me the albums please she told me just give them to me and I said if they corrupt me why would I want to corrupt you and and I wish I'd give them to her but I destroyed them because I was convinced that I had to destroy everything in my past to be all the step into my future and and by the way the people who tell you to burn the books and destroy the albums there's a some ones that tell you to cut off the people so you need to be careful that you actually think that the way to integrate your life is by cutting off your past you actually need to introduce your past to your future and Levi I didn't follow Jesus and say I'm never going to associate with a tax collector again I'm never going to have a conversation with another broken human being again I'm not going to allow my reputation to be tainted by all the people who had the same reputation I had I'm going to create this new world you're not creating space for you new world by getting rid of your old world the material for your new world is your old world so introduce your past to your future now I do think sometimes it's easier to cut off your past your then to invite your past into your future because they'd almost give you a feeling of nobility when you go I'm letting I'm putting all that behind me right then just say hey do you want to come they go no are you out of your mind it's so much easier to cut people off to be rejected by them right and I've had so many people tell me what none of my friends are interested like I know I I now have like Jesus in my life I'm ready to move into a new man I want a new kind of life and I want a new future but none of my friends are interested in that well how do you know I just know you know why you know that because they were just like you isn't it odd that we think I can change us but we don't think I can change anyone else so if your friends work just like you if you were just like them and Jesus encountered you and now you want to change what makes you think they're not in the same place you are maybe they're trying to figure out how to change too and you become the singular hope in their life that they can be different because you can be different so you need to invite your past until your future and if they say hey we're not interested in who you're becoming we're not interested in this new thing in your life then you've at least invited your past into your future but I don't just cut off your past because before you believe in God God believed in you see before you gave your life to Jesus God was already involved in your life so is it possible that you have relationships in your life that God wanted you to be in and when you met him so that you could be the instrument so that they could meet him too so stop acting like your life if for God is something that God isn't interested in Wow imagine if we just begin to think to ourselves I don't have to eradicate my past I don't need to educate to invite my past into the future because maybe some of my past is my future and maybe just maybe the only way they can get of their past is to invite them into your future Levi's invited his friends to meet Jesus he didn't know how it was gonna go didn't go all that well but what's interesting means is the only crisis in conflict were from the people who didn't want him to have a new future the only ones who were really upset about what was happening here was from the people who were religious all the tax collectors all the people were known as sinners they're having a great time and he didn't have any problem at all being in a moment with Jesus and this is what I found over and over again whenever I thought that someone without God was not interested in talking about God I was usually wrong they're not innocent talking to a dogmatic person who's arrogant and unteachable but they're really really open to have any conversation about God with someone who's on a journey and really open to other ideas and and is trying to be a part of a genuine human pursuit for faith and Levi invited his friends and there's almost is almost like no agenda just go I just want you to hang with Jesus and we'll just see where it goes and we'll see how it comes together you have to invite your past into your future if you're going to integrate your worlds and create a new one but you also need to invade your present with your future I I always think of things in terms of like flexible time I don't know why but when I think about time I think of it in a very like adaptive Plato kind of way I think a lot of us we think about time we think it almost like Legos they just keep like there's a next moment the next moment the next moment all lines up in a single line and and I think the time is more like Plato it's adaptive and flexible and you know when I came to faith in Jesus I thought well God's the god of eternity and I finished taking a test and I would I pray see God you know is any way you could retroactively Li help me with that test and I know I already took it but you know for you you in this moment in the last moment and the next moment so this prayer could actually be a transactional conversation before I had the exam and so I would think about that you know why Limit God's opportunity to do something in my life and you know III just think he can fix something in yesterday and if he just shows up there that right moment go I remember he's gonna pray about this in about a year so I can go back and so I'm just thinking that that sometimes we underestimate the adaptability flexibility of God in this but but what about if you stop acting like your future is way out there and invite your future into your present and so instead of saying well one day this is gonna be Who I am why don't you start acting like you're already that person and introduce your present to your future and say look invade this moment with who you want to become this week you're gonna face a challenge a crisis a conflict you're gonna have a moment where where you can be the old you or you can stop and go I'm gonna invade the present with the future because one day I'm not an idiot right not today but one day I'm not gonna be an idiot one day I wanted really wise so I'm gonna invade the present with the future I'm gonna take the wise main and let the wise me invade this moment and just absolutely overthrow the stupid may see one day you're you're gonna be the patient at you so this week when you're about to be inpatient because that's the present you you know who the president you is but but take a no I'm gonna invade the present with the future I'm gonna invade the present maybe with the future me I'm gonna I'm gonna be so patient in this moment no one's gonna know who I am but I I'm gonna know who is that I'm a time traveler and the future me just came in and invaded this moment and on fire because I'm the future me maybe the the present you is a coward and maybe the present you doesn't have a lot of faith is really fearful but you can imagine can can you see a future you this courageous can you see a future you that is bold and gutsy and full of faith so why don't you invade the present with the future and be the future you right now now I know I know the present is present and the future is in the future and so every once in a while the future will go back to the future and go I almost had it I'm getting there but I'm telling you you have more power to invade the present with the future than you know imagine if you could just live in the present as the person you're going to be in the future with the future wisdom with the future courage with the future experience with the future real and you're integrating these worlds because you're you're inviting your past into your future you were who you were you did what you did you you were bringing into the future the you that you are and instead of living in in guilt and shame just go hey that's the material God chose to use in my life to create the new future the new world and God is creative enough to do everything he wants to do with the mess of me and then keep inviting invading your present with your future you know and I I think it actually helps when you begin to stop and ask yourself the question Who am I going to be who is it that I want to be well what's the projection of my future when when Levi invites Jesus into the room Levi is not yet Jesus or like Jesus he will never be Jesus he will never be the same or equal to Jesus but what he's doing when he brings Jesus into the room he's saying this is my future following Jesus is my future and I'm just bringing him into my present and my presents kind of messy it doesn't really fit into my present that well but it's okay because I'm gonna invade my future with by president with my future and my future is all Jesus so he's gonna be here in this moment with me I just just one last thought of how to integrate your world and create this new world that you long for you need to invite your past into your future and invade your present with your future but you need to create a new world for old friends and I I know that God's gonna give you new friends God has given me so many new people in my life and I think one of the great gifts in life are all the new people you get to meet and and how your life is just so affected by the unique personality and intelligence and passion and gifting of people I I hope you already know that the most valuable resource in the world are people and there's nothing more precious and relationships and and the commodity I'm telling you if you're a person that's into like success and you want to increase your your wealth the greatest wealth in the world are really genuinely human relationships and when you realize that that while you're pursuing stuff I mean we rarely wake up in the morning going today I'm pursuing a new relationship well I guess our websites for that but after that swipe right but you know whatever and yeah or laughter whichever direction you swipe in and alright but but we rarely think today I'm gonna make a life long friendship today I'm gonna make a meaningful relationship normally we get up like today I'm gonna I'm gonna become more wealthy or today I'm going to be more successful today I'm gonna make that sale you know today I'm gonna get that promotion we we it's funny we create aspirations for the less meaningful things in life we don't usually wake up the morning going today I'm going to be the most incredible house has ever lived on this planet today I'm gonna be the most incredible wife that has ever lived today I may be the best best friend BFF but are you really you know are you really the best best friend are you just their best best friend and you're the best they got or or do you get up in the morning and think yourself today I'm gonna be I know that hurt that was deep that was with those there's wounding there I should let the wounding sort of sift and but but are you really the best best friend are you are you a person who will speak the truth what it needs to be spoken are you person who's with them when it's not convenient for you to be with them or like what would happen if we got up in the morning and said you know I'm I'm an aspire to make people the highest value of my life and and then realize that that if that's actually the economy of God because it is that you need to create a new world for old friends and you may not even realize which old friends need the new world you're creating for them Levi was creating a world it did not exist because there had not been a world even up to that day where tax collectors and sinners could have dinner with God it was a new moment it was a moment where worlds were colliding for time and eternity were coming together where the eternal and the momentary were happening instantly together and Jesus who was sinless was parting with people who were only known for their sin and he was creating a world that did not exist without him what is the new world that needs to exist because of you what is the new world that you're created to create imagine if you if you thought of yourself in this creative almost cosmic capacity I am designed by God to create a new world for all trends and and I don't mean people you know you see you might think well I don't have that many old friends I left them all behind in Michigan and I you know I left them in Romania or wherever you may be and and no no I see I'm not talking about just your old friends see when you live your life you're gonna meet people and they will be your new friends but they're living in their old life and when you create a new world for old friends you help them become new friends as they live in their new world yeah I realize that in fact my mom just sent me a photograph today and I didn't recognize the people in it because the the very man who was speaking when I came to faith just got remarried this weekend I guess he must be like a hundred and fifty and then she sent me a photograph of him and his new wife and they look awesome Wow he was old when I gave my life to Jesus I mean old right like old and and and and I'm old and he's still like alive and and not only is he alive but he just got remarried so he's like he's like like got juice he's ready to go he's like starting a new life he's on a new journey and you adventure I'm going way to go and no no wonder he led me to Jesus that man understands what it means to live and so your dad and now and you see what's really amazing to me though is that he created an environment with a new world and even though he didn't know me I was the old friend that was brought into his world and found a new way and a new me when you begin to live an integrated life you are not just introducing your past to your future you're not just invading your presence with your future your you are literally creating a new world for old friends you are becoming the creator of the Neil in concert with the God who creates everything No and when you begin to integrate your life you're no longer wasting energy being multiple people at the same time I can tell you it I have spent so much of my life trying so hard to be what everyone else wanted me to be a very felt that and when you are in so many different domains when we were in the fashion industry in the film industry and we're working in so many world of literature in the world of business and work with the sports world and you know the the world of these fortune 500 companies and you just feel like this this tension to be whatever people need you to be in that moment and every time I spent my energy trying to be who I thought they wanted me to be I was always a lesser version of myself because what people need from you is they need to know what it means to be whole to be integrated to be who you really are and if who you really are isn't what they need in that room get out of that room don't let any room make you someone else find the strength and the courage to be you who God's created you to be I think it's amazing that Levi didn't care there was a roomful of Pharisees and a roomful of tax collectors at a room full of sinners and a room full of Jesus you said god you're big enough to be in this room and for Levi to stand there by the way I think he identified with everyone almost in the room I know when I first came to faith I wasn't sure who I was more like the people who I knew before I gave my life to Jesus where the people are I was getting to know after I gave my life to Jesus and and sometimes I felt like I I was being pulled by both of them so they were pulling the reins on both sides and instead of going both ways I just stopped they had to realize that that every person is called by God to become a unique version Soph and when you trust that God's making you the real you they just bring it all together you just let the cards fall where they may say god I'm just gonna be me and I'm gonna be the best version of myself with you and I'm gonna let people decide how they want to relate to who I really am something powerful happens in your life when the new you is always you everywhere you go all the time when you live a life of integration what happens as you began to create a new world did the choices you make I'm gonna ask you guys have you just about your heads to me just for a moment but if you're watching me in this moment I want you to just look up if you're online if you're one of our campuses I want to have a conversation with you just for a moment you may be here in this moment and you're so desperate for a new you desperate for a new life a new future and yet you somehow have just been hesitant and apprehensive about putting your life in Jesus's hands about crossing the line of faith and trusting him with your life but this is your moment some of you've been trying to go both ways and pulled the reins in both directions and and you've been double hearted and double minded and what God wants from you is he wants all of you completely his and this is what this moment is about for you someone invites you right now to give everything that you are all your dreams are your hopes all your fears all your doubts your relationships your your goals your aspirations all of you to Jesus right now I want to invite you to courageously cross the line of faith and let your future invade your present right now by giving your life it's Jesus or lead you in a simple prayer just one sentence inside everything you and guide need to talk about but it's the beginning of the new you if you're ready to follow Jesus would you pray with me right now Jesus I give you my life right now just tell them Jesus I give you my life wherever you are right now in this moment this is the most important decision you will ever make because if the moment you give your life to Jesus Jesus puts his life in you the new begins when you give Jesus everything did you tell them right now Jesus I give you my life Jesus I give you my life if this is your prayer but I want right now is I want the campus pastors to come up if this is your prayer if you just cross the line of faith and gave your life to Jesus if you just prayed Jesus I give you my life I want you right now just to hold your hand up I don't want you to be apprehensive I don't want to be hesitant I want you to raise your hand up high so you can be seen in this moment it's a declaration that this is the moment the new begins in your life this is a moment of integration this is the moment where worlds will collide in a new world will be created this is the moment where you give your life to Jesus completely right now just hold your head up high Jesus I give you my life and I want to pray for you father I thank you for the women and men who in this moment if cross the line of faith and have opened up their lives to you who have given their life to you in this moment who have prayed this simple prayer Jesus I'd give you my life and I know that your response to Jesus is that you put your life in us and so I gotta just pray that right now they would know that they belong to you that you would wrap them up in your love you would envelop them in your presence so they would know that you will never leave them or abandon them that today is the beginning of their future and God I pray that that their present would be invaded by their future that they would have deep sense of the hope that is there's the faith that will fill them with a love that will carry them God and I pray that you would introduce their past to their future the God that they would become a marker for everyone in their life that there is a way to the new a way to hope a way to life and God I just pray that from this moment as worlds are colliding that you would use them to create a new world for old friends god i'm so thankful that you jesus came for us that you created the way that you were the intersection of all things and when the world collided when you were on the cross a new world emerged when you rose from the dead we thank you Jesus and we pray in your name amen let me just thank God for all those who just responded to him right now so slow God Oh God I want to thank you guys so much and remember there is a new you waiting inside of you but it does not come to life without choices in your life so let's keep allowing our inner world to shape the outside world there's a new you waiting to emerge bring your left integration allow a new world to be created not only in you but through you see you next week [Applause]
