I tried yeah I would have I would have liked you as a director a lot more logo just creepily hovering it's magic welcome to movie phones unscripted I'm Seth MacFarlane this is Charlize Theron and we're here to talk about our new movie a million ways to die in the West we'll answer some questions that you sent in and some that are unscripted Maggie on Facebook brilliant decision to put Liam Neeson in this comedy says wow thanks how did you pitch him on joining the cast how did I pitch him on interesting grammar Maggie Thatcher slept with him yeah it's all true everything you've heard is yeah that one thing Oh true and it is spectacular oh no you know it oddly this weird thing that we do Family Guy and Ted and all this other nonsense is is uh kind of goes over well we find in in the UK and in Ireland and we thought there's no way in hell he's going to do this and we asked him and he actually not only said yes but he reminded me that we had done a gag a Family Guy where he was we didn't remember that I had forgotten while he was it's only Liam Missa I know I know this is middle name but it's what the f stands for maybe was not offence playing a cowboy Liam Neeson playing a cowboy he was amazingly I thought man we're screwed and then I was like no I'll do it you do it maybe Maggie will enjoy this can you please do your ladies I'll do Liam Neeson's comment from the EPK because I love it yeah I don't know why his name is clinch this is noise originates from Ireland's whose real name was probably Trevor McBride so good he's a brilliant man mmm Alexis on Facebook if Stewie and Ted met that's cute that's a good that's the Sun Oh what would they say to each other that's great um if Stewie and Ted met what would they say to each other um why do you get to say the F word and we don't we're uh we're a UH movie does what were you doing when this idea came to you what were you doing Wow what I was in the hospital with my very sick mother thank you thanks a lot great question I hope you feel good about yourself now no is it what was I doing um I was working on the the the final set of rewrites for Ted and I should have been working on Ted and my co-writers Alex Salkin in Wellesley Wilde and I were talking about cowboy movies yeah so we were working on one movie when we should have been working on another yessir you get what to do your kids right don't listen to what everybody tells you don't focus just just have a TD just this is how you become a billionaire hey Neil in Burlington what's your favorite jokes s that you didn't make and that didn't make it into the movie all the way from Vermont my favorite joke that didn't make it into the movie is probably was a whole scene that got cut out of the movie where basically they're all they're all too funeral and the cause of death was a splinter actually that other doctor scene was was I'm kind of upset that didn't make it in the movie with the cast with a cat we had a great cat on set great cat yeah really are we good at it intestine eating emic the doctor was in mid surgery and had to leave and his cat jumps up on the table and makes all thing its nest and what's the funniest drama you've ever done somebody does not understand this show uh really funniest drama yeah actually I do like that question because it sounds wrong it sounds people think it's disrespectful when you say this because you're dealing with a serious subject matter but it is actually not because the process of making films is completely separate from that in a weird way because you're working with people who become family and I had so much fun and laughed my ass off making monster I remember dancing at 3 a.m. with my gut covered in blood - I'm a maniac from Flashdance cuz at like 80 socks on and Reebok and that got me through until at least 6:00 a.m. you know really turn 19 our day yeah sometimes you have to do that stuff to repeat just get through or hard drugs hard to find when your budget is low so we went with dancing wow that's that's a problem we didn't have in Santa Fe unscripted ok why did we not have hard drugs well Charlize um we felt that the community at large was a great provider of yeah I am so it was not necessary didn't you weren't you telling me that you were taking your kid out in the park one day and you saw a woman with a metal detector yes and he thought she was looking for coins and she was looking for needles she was looking for needles so a great place is there if you're looking for a drug that's in place that is actually not that's not a made-up story no it's I forgot that story you think there were drugs on our set that's a good question whatever offers me drugs like I'm he's not gonna do that I offered you drugs and you didn't you pussied out what are you looking into it I'm gonna OD did you offer what did you no I can't even look at it don't make it in my trailer surely you just let me instead I get the b12 shot I got you a b12 shot that's good it's a good drug okay uma if you had to get a line she's asking you are you if you had to get a line from one of your movies tattooed on your body which would you get what would you get there was a line in this movie that got cut mmm that would be a good one that I actually got from one of our producers is a wrap gift and stitched like a little pillow case because it is a really good line and I think it would go really well like right here that's right that's that that's not and it would say don't go a snack and if you've been to back in yeah Thank You Seth well that's sex oh that's you yeah that's that's you now I'm like John Travolta here go ahead no you you're so much worse than he actually that's a compliment I wouldn't give to you Thank You Seth or not a thank you movie phone for having us work mmm thanks to all of you for sending us in questions and for watching please go and see our movie a million ways to die in the West right yep yes that's that's what we would like should we play hard to get don't don't see it it's done oh yeah I don't care oh we don't care at all I don't care if you see it or not doesn't mean a thing we're gonna be following the moving camera you
