A major chop and huge color change has her SHOOK!

[Music] you know I don't feel pretty right now alright so today we have Sophia let's open up her submission video and see what she's all about let's do it she's so young I mean you can wake up one morning be like I want to dye my hair purple and lipstick meaning and you might only have to have a good explanation why you can just do it because you like the way it looks it's simple like that but lately I feel like that part of my life is kind of fallen through the cracks I have lost a lot of passion for because really how horrible this year has been I'll got kicked off in October I mean it was really rough watching my whole family fall apart and so Sophia right now is talking about her parents getting a divorce this year but she didn't really want every detail put into this video for the public to see she didn't know beforehand that this video was gonna be seen by everybody so I'm trying to respect her by not putting in this part one thing that was kind of keeping me sane through the whole process was running I run versity track in cross country then of course at the same time all that was happening I injured my foot oh one through four doctors and they were barely able to help me I missed all of the indoor track season and country season because of it and then throughout throw that I got kind of depressed I didn't see any reason to do anything night I didn't have any desire to keep going those were three the biggest things in my life and spring-trap rolled around and I was able to get back on a track which is great so you know I got back my love for running I really feel like I can be myself again I really feel like a lot of stuff is just bring back my self-confidence I had this winter which happened to be a luck I don't know if it was a great one Sophia you are rocks are your Hara needs to match your rocks Arizona I'm so happy that you seem from this video that you're feeling a lot better now about yourself and you want to get that extra push to really feel like yourself again and you need a whole new hair makeover let's shop that hair let's get rid of it I feel like chopping your hair is like getting rid of an old part of you that you want to leave in the past and I think that's what you really want to do this year is just like yeah bird of that old negative stuff and come back into your new look your new body your new life and just start feeling good again I think that we can do something else maybe in the blue range maybe maybe you'll have to wait and see alright I cannot wait to meet Sophia in the studio and makeover her hair let's do this first thing I saw was congratulations and I tried to run out my broom but I fell down I got up ran into the hallway fell down again in the hallway hang out I was so excited I wanted to tell my mom I know whatever he does my hair is gonna be great so I'm not worried about that [Music] [Music] when you get to 18 yeah where are you from from Philly yeah I live in the suburbs right outside Philly nice you came here this morning yeah I got up at 4:30 on the train wait do you skip to that yes just taking kids at school my job I love that thank you for you ready to get this hair done so ready let me see I just kind of have gone through a hair healthy transformation with damage it today yeah perfect we're ready to get started are you ready to do this I'm so ready all right let's go [Music] alright we're about to get started alright so let's talk more about your hair okay we talked a little bit about it but what do we have on the end is going on we got some old purple before that is dyed like dark brown and before that it was rose gold was it a box day no I get all my stuff down that is lon yeah lovely I got really fun and you're open yeah you're willing you're ready I want my hair shorter okay I used have it shortened that was like my favorite look of all time and I was like you know that thing like that just above like the shoulder as I think in regards like what color we do after we lighten your hair you don't want anything that's like too like insane no I'm good okay colors okay but like something that will look good on me right I need colors laughs lemon orange NIT let's drape you oh I'm sure so she's pretty open to whatever I want to do with her hair up cell I mean yeah I love that [Music] [Music] hi guys so I just finished one side of her head as you can see we're just here talking you know about life your parents are divorced ya know it it's always hard at first but you know you kind of have to adjust and that's life you gotta adjust it and you can make the best out of it how old were you when the yeah I was really young so I don't really remember anything over there listening to her talk about her parents divorce really brings back memories of when my parents got divorced which was a very very long time ago I don't remember much from it I don't remember my parents ever really being together I think that's lucky because I definitely didn't have a hard time with the divorce but it's important well you get to Christmas that's like you get to Christmas I'm like shut up words are harder when you're older cuz you remember yeah they're also easier because you know you have more control over things when you are there totally I remember my mom telling me my brothers and I honestly remember having no reaction to it and not having any idea what that meant but other kids such as Sophia do have a hard time with it and I just want Sophie to know that it's gonna be hard right now but you're gonna get through it and the reasoning behind those parents saying divorce are all different I completely understand that and sometimes it gets really messy and for Sophia it was sort of that situation so I definitely feel for her and I just want her to know that it's not always gonna be hard it's gonna be all amazing and your life is gonna be spectacular just to let this thing bring you down I know it's a really hard thing to get through yeah it's helped me grow up with it exactly my advice for you is to just not keep anything but in ever and always talk to somebody that cares about you always surround yourself with amazing people and friends that will listen to you I know I'm lucky with your firm grip like what you guys my friend group we are all like so different it's really funny so it's good cuz you know when you're all really different and you know you don't fight as much because you know it's just easier like that yeah do you think it's clicky at your school it is pretty lucky huh after like the cool kids like that it's like they're cheerleaders fellow players like the cool kids sort of but you know there is overlap like it's not like then no one really makes fun of a football player if they like play an instrument well I don't know I really I'm not an expert on this please it's not my phone I had like the office like everybody in theater was the cool kids really yeah [Music] I'm already loving her hair this chop was I'm gonna paint some volley of peace in her hair and then go over it with the tea laid out there all right hair is almost done now it is time to bring in the makeup artist and you don't lam her the F all right because we all like to feel glamorous and fabulous once in a while and who doesn't love getting their hair and makeup done at the same time I mean literally nobody you know it's even better than that hair makeup and nails at the same time though we don't have nails today but it's still gonna be cute okay we have Jackie here our fabulous makeup artist for today she's gonna start our makeup and whatever you want to start with have a little consultation figure out what she wants you know but don't give it away all right it's a surprise everything's a surprise today I'm Jackie yes okay yeah hair is looking awesome yeah so we're gonna talk to get started your makeup all right is there anything specific that you love about makeup mmm I love eyebrows no brows I love brows those are like my favorite part of makeup you have been best brows totals they're awesome it's anything you don't like mami-san a winged eyeliner okay really big wind eyeliner not a fan now all right great any allergies I don't know [Music] oh it is time for that time of day where I get to show Sofia her new look I will never stop getting nervous for this part it's just like what if they hate it what do I do all right Sofia we're done with everything we did makeup we did hair color cut blow-dry style everything and she's about to see yourself the first time in like nine hours it's been a while are you so sad I am you know it's a gorgeous little shade of teal ash Bluegreen we did a balayage moment we've brought up high in the front because you were complaining well last time it was a very high right how do you feel up being is so high in the friend oh I love it yeah perfect I wanted to keep a little bit dark in between that way when it grows out you're not like trying to rush this line to get it done again I'll grow really nicely over time that's the hair I love the hair I feel like I want to eat the eyes morning there's so much fun and how they're going on my hair so I just want to make your eyes pop you beautiful almond eyes oh my gosh I've never seen shoot so shows I know [Music] alright so you're gonna get a change order to vote interview after that we're gonna show your mom they're here so let's do it you ready [Music] like it I do so we got Sophia Sophia girl how you feelin like you adjust a little bit more now a little but every time I look it gets a little bit easier you know I think what sickening you look sick and like it was a big transformation for sure like a lot a lot happened no a big hair cut big color change big style change and then makeup I it's a lot a lot we love it yeah I'm gonna remember this day forever Sophia Sophia oh god what an angel what a sweetheart I so enjoyed spending this entire day with this amazing person incident out she looks so beautiful my work is done here now it's up to her to make her own changes in her own life and I hope that I could at least bring the outward appearance to
