we really want to praise God for an opportunity for all of us to come together and to study the word of the Lord and I know that God has a message for us and what we simply need to do is petition God's throne to ask him to give us ears to hear what the Spirit wants to say to the church so as we prepare our hearts to do that I'd like to invite you if you're able to daniil with me and we're going to go before the Lord in prayer at this time if you can't kneel you just bow where you want but if you can kneel let us pray together father in heaven we are so grateful we thank you Lord for your many tender mercies that you have demonstrated to us you've still allowed us to be counted amongst the land of the living you have blessed us with strength and life and you've given us sound minds that at least we had enough sense to find ourselves in the House of Prayer today where there is healing and for these things we give you praise and we thank you we also ask you to please forgive us of our sin and that you will abide with us and grant us the presence of your Holy Spirit that he may come and teach us and truly open our eyes and help us behold wondrous things out of your law for Lord this is our prayer that we do ask in Jesus name Amen the Bible left us know in the book of Matthew the sixteenth chapter we're turning our Bibles to the book of Matthew the sixteenth chapter and we're going to see what the Lord has to say to our heart and I hope that everyone has a Bible if you don't have a Bible you can go ahead and raise your hand I'm sure there'll be an usher here or someone that can furnish you with one if you need one but you want to follow all the text that we're going to look at today because that's where our edification is found is in Scripture not in the words of men but in the words of God the Bible says in the book of Matthew the sixteenth chapter and if we are there please let me know by saying Amen the Bible says in Matthew the sixteenth chapter we are considering a dialogue that Jesus had with the disciples and when Jesus was talking with the disciples he was asking them a very simple question which was who two men say that I the Son of Man and they gave a whole host of answers but they did not give the answer Christ was looking for until Jesus was able to hear specific words from the Apostle Peter and the Bible says in verse 16 what Peter said Peter said referring to the question that Christ asked he said and Simon Peter answered and said thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God the being Jesus commended him and jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee but my father which is in heaven and I say also unto thee thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and what's that nice promise it says the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it and I want you to know that that is a beautiful promise that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it no matter how much Satan will attack because that's by the way that is the indirect message in the point the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it but that indicates that of Hell will attack it right so therefore the Bible is letting us know a very direct point as well as an indirect point the direct point is the gates of Hell will not prevail the indirect point is that the gates of Hell will attack so whenever you think of the Church of the Living God we must understand that it will be a church that will go under attack but we are promised that the gates of hell thank God will not prevail against if God is going to win in the end and this is why it is a beautiful thing when we can find out films as part of God's church yes we're going to be in the battle but at the same time we have already been assured of victory through our Lord Jesus Christ let the church say amen to that and so when we think about this we would do well to consider this verse because when is this and upon this rock I will build my church the first one we're Church appears in all the Bible first time and here it is that when you think about church I wanted to know what exactly is God's definition of the church like how how does he define the church anyhow and when I looked at how God defined the church I began to understand why the gates of hell to attack it but not prevail against it you that was to uplift God and his truth it is for this reason we would do well to ask the question exactly what is truth there was a time that Pilate asked that question to Jesus himself Pilate was looking truth right in the face and he said what is truth remember that and here it is that we have to also ask this question because when we think about the church the church was designed in the mind of God to be a place where everything that the Bible called truth was could be found it was supposed to be in the church amongst God's people now when we think about this what exactly is the truth there are four texts of Scripture that we would do well to consider the first one is John 17 in verse 17 the Bible says sanctify them through thy truth thy what thy Word is truth so when you think about the Church of the Living God the pillar and ground of truth you are thinking about a place and a people that live by the word and not opinions when you come to church you do not come to hear a man's opinion I certainly hope you don't because the whole world I opinions you don't have to come to church for that if you want to hear somebody's opinion you can you don't have to even waste your time coming to this building or this place you can go find an opinion anyway when you think of the Church of the Living God that is the place where opinions take a seat and God's truth takes a stand and that is his word so whenever you think of the Church of the Living God when you realize I am the church I am part of the church when we think about that principle of that concept that means do you live by the word Jesus himself said mention I live by bread alone he said but by every one word that proceeds out of the mouth of God you and I must make sure that in the decisions that you and I make are we making decisions based on the word and influence are we making decisions off of what I feel now brothers and sisters if you're making decisions in life I'm talking about school I'm talking about who you married I'm talking about the job that you get if we do things based on how we feel I have go to the book of Proverbs the 14th chapter I want you to see this because this is how most of humanity lives their lives especially how young people young brothers and sisters live their lives we make decisions based on how we feel and we have to understand something from the Word of God right now the Bible filled in the book of Proverbs chapter 14 and I want you to notice what it says as we consider proverbs 14 and we're going to look at verse 12 and if you are there please say Amen Bible says in the book of Proverbs 14 and verse 12 watch the text it says there is a way which seemeth how write unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of what yet just because something feels right or seems right does not mean it is right and it's not learn about God God you know my father did this this few areas in my father's life especially the earlier part of his life that reminded me about God but there was one thing about my dad in his life that definitely reminded me about God whenever my father wanted me and my brothers and sisters to do something he would just simply tell us you know blame clean up your room you know something like that but then sometimes I would say Duane clean up your room and I would say yes sir and the next thing you know just a couple of minutes later dad would say Duane you call my voice with a little bit more authority and I said yes dad and he would say now listen I want you to clean up your room and my family learn at a young age whenever father has to repeat himself anytime dad has to repeat himself he is trying to impress upon our minds I mean what I'm telling you and if you don't do what I'm telling you judgment lieth at the door it was understood at a very young age amongst my siblings that when dad has to repeat himself he means what he says now we just read from our Heavenly Father in proverbs 14:12 he said there is a way that seems right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death but now I want you to turn to proverbs 16 and I want you to see what it says in verse 25 the Bible says just a couple of pages over proverbs 16 and verse 25 and what did I have a new daddy tell us he said what there is a way which right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death God had to repeat himself God is trying to impress upon my heart he is trying to impress upon your head you and I will not create it and brought into this planet to follow what we think is right there's a way that can seem right but it can lead to absolute destruction how many men have met a young lady and they thought Oh surely she is going to be the queen of my household and they discovered that she was all wrong how many times have women met men and they thought oh he's going to be the prince the king of my life and she found out that he was all wrong our hearts have a natural tendency to deceive us this is why the Bible says in Jeremiah 17 and verse 9 it says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who could know it I all forgive this analogy because I like to make people think if somebody came to your house and your suburb or your country retreat and somebody came to your house knocked on your door and said hello I am very very deceitful above anything else on earth and I am a desperately wicked man may I please come in your house how many of you would trust that individual to let them come in your house how many of you would do that you see none of you would dare not trust somebody that would be crazy enough to admit that they are the most deceitful and desperately wicked person on earth to come in our houses but the Bible says that your heart my heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked and do you know how a lot of us especially young people make decisions based on what they feel in their heart we don't understand that school this brothers and sisters we had a Sabbath School this morning talking about foolish things thanks foolish we don't do that so what's our protection Jesus says live by every word that proceeds out of my mouth why because sanctify them through thy truth my word is truth the happiest life the most satisfied life you see I stand before you 42 years old but you don't understand I accepted this message when I was 20 and when I stuck with this message when I was 20 years old I was just as happy then as I'm happy now my point is is that brothers and sisters the happiest life is a life that is submitted and surrendered to the instructions found in the Word of God what is true the Bible says thy Word is truth but it doesn't stop there you see the Bible goes on to tell us John 16 and verse 13 it says howbeit when he the Spirit of Truth his time he will guide you into all truth so when you think of a Church of God you're not just thinking about a place and a people that live by the word but you're also thinking about a place any people that are guided by God's Spirit and whenever you think of the Spirit of God you think in two avenues you think gifts and frite if you read 1st Corinthians 12 that's the gifts of the Spirit knowledge wisdom healing helps faith and all these other wonderful things when you think of fruit you think of Galatians 5:22 and 23 love joy peace long-suffering gentleness goodness faith meekness and temperance this is what God always intended that when people came into this place and came in contact with these people they were supposed to see people filled with love filled with joy you know a lot of us are sad ventas you don't have any jokes into this decision you look at our face you can tell we're like a bunch of depressed angry people but anybody who is baptized with the presence of God straight they are happy people did you know that and you know why they're happy because they've learned a lesson they've put Jesus first last and best in their lives did you know that we have a quote that says those who put Christ first last and best in their lives are the happiest people in the world this brothers and sisters is demonstration of the power of God's Spirit this is also truth but the Bible goes on it also tells us in psalm 119 142 the Bible says thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and by law is truth those who truly understand what the church was called to be the church was designed to be the killer and grand of truth everything that the Bible calls truth was to be found in the church and here it is that in the church we were supposed to see not just simply people who live by the word not just simply people blessed with the feeling of God's Spirit but they were supposed to be those who honor God and his holy Ten Commandments all of them included the second they saw but that's one of the reasons why we exist and if we understood how to properly observe Sabbath if he practically understood the power that God has given unto his Sabbath keepers you know in order for one to keep the Sabbath holy one must himself be holy if we really understood the power of God's commandment we would never have to imitate other churches and have Sunday services to try to win souls we could just stick with Sabbath services but have power and win souls Oh some of you probably don't know what I'm talking about but I know some of you do because education is happening all around us and reason why is because we're lacking something that is absolutely needed that's why the title of our message is talking about a key in having true power whenever you think of the church God says it was the pillar and ground of truth that's why the gates of hell can't prevail it can attack but it can't prevail because you can't do anything against the truth you can only do things for the truth so God says when I think of my church I think of a place in the people that number one they live by my what they live by my word they're filled with my one spirit they keep my wife law did you know that individuals who live by the word are filled with God's Spirit and keep God's law do know when these three dynamics happen in an individual's life make them fulfill truth number four you know what number four truth is Jesus said one day I saith unto him I am the truth did you know those who follow God's Word to the tee those who are filled with God's Spirit to do those who keep chilly God's commandments are people who reflect the lovely image of Jesus the truth this is what God gave to the change who said everything that the Bible calls truth was to be found in this place amongst his people now the sad reality is this second Timothy chapter 3 the Bible says in the book of 2nd Timothy The Faerie chapter follow with me now we're going to the book of 2nd Timothy chapter 3 and I want you to see a reality that the Bible said this reality actually pertains to the last days and this is important for us to understand because even heathens know that we're in the last days I mean I'm amazed at that people don't even acknowledge God and they still say I know something's up this world's get ready to come to an end you know so you don't even have to be a Christian nowadays to know it's the last days but thank God you can be Christians and know because we can have the knowledge that the rest of the world does not happen and so it is that we're in the book of 2nd Timothy chapter 1 chapter 3 now the Bible says in second Timothy chapter 3 we're going to start right there verse 1 and we're going to look at verses 1 to 5 and this is a sad commentary about the reality of the church the Bible says in the book expecting Timothy chapter 3 notice what it says as we consider verses 1 to 5 it says this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come why is it perilous well it tells us in 2 verses 2 to 5 it says for men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy without natural affection trucebreakers false accusers incontinent fierce despisers of those that are good traitors heady highminded and lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God now that is a horror that the scripture and then it's worse because it says in verse 5 it says having a form of what godliness but what happened denying the power thereof from such what does the Bible say to do turn away the reality is is that the church that was called to be the pillar and ground of truth as a result of the attacks of the devil has now been downgraded to a praise and a people where most times you see men who love pleasure more than they love God you see women who love pleasure more than they love God you call people for Bible study hardly anybody shows up you call people for social everybody shows up it's amazing how we can call the choir together and the choir you can get a whole bunch of young people to show up this thing but then those same young people singing about Jesus if you invite them to a Bible study often they don't show up how is it that you can sing about Christ but you don't want to study about Christ that doesn't make any sense and so it is that we see that unfortunately the church has been affected and infected it's been downgraded and they've been attacked that has left us now having more form than real power the world doesn't have forms of godliness the world is sinful and they bow the body just drive to Atlanta this go ahead and look at the billboard they're not advertising forms of godliness they are promoting everything that the Bible calls ungodly so therefore we know the world does not have a form of godliness it's the church that has gotten to a place where it has unfortunately downgraded to a form and lost its power God wants this to be revived God wants this to be brought down because at the end of the day quite honestly the world is looking for power the world is looking like crazy for power they're looking for power but what they want is real power they don't want something faith they don't want somebody who can preach on a pulpit a higher holy message and then when they get off the pulpit they're looking just like any other sin the world says give me something better if you're going to tell me to leave my stuff then you sit at least offer me something better and I think that's logical what do you say that's logical if you're going to tell a world name listen this music is bad this lifestyle is bad this dress is bad this diet is bad if you're going to tell the world that all the things that they're doing is bad then when they come to the church they better see something better but if they come to the church they say man I've seen baptised agonism if they come and actually wait a minute you told me my jazz and rock and roll is bad but when I come to church I hear jazz and rock and roll gospel has baptized paganism brothers and sisters if it's bad is bad don't try to mix the two together here's a story in the Bible about them go to the Book of Leviticus chapter 10 we must learn to pay attention to the Bible look what the Bible says we're gonna kiss the 10th chapter of the Texas we can't win people like that we can't take worldly stuff bring it into church and think that's how we win people it doesn't work that is insistence it doesn't work there was two people who tried to do that they were leaders in the church in fact and the Bible tells a story about it's in the good of kisti 10th chapter the Bible says in the Book of Leviticus chapter 10 when you get there please say Amen the Bible says in the Book of Leviticus chapter ting notice what the Bible says is very clear in verse 1 it says and named ad and a by who the sons of Aaron took either of them his censer and put fire therein and put incense thereon and offer one strange fire before the Lord which he commanded them what not so they did something that God told them not to do and they did this in the church service are you following well it goes on to say and there went out fire from the Lord and devoured them and they died before the Lord God actually allowed them to die in the sanctuary that should teach us a lesson it's not enough to just keep young people in the church you got to keep them in Christ because so often people think just keep the young people in charge and that's good enough this story tells us that there was some young people's sons of Aaron Nate Ivanov I who and they died in the church because they were committing sin they were not doing what God told them to do that means that the church building does not protect us Christ protects you our mission in life is to keep people in Christ not simply in a building not simply amongst a membership where in which is nominal that is not what God ever wanted we have this story to help us understand that well here it is that as these young men died oh honey nope Aaron he's get to the places getting rid of weep and cry God says don't even so sympathy for your children dying in this fashion because they died in the belly but here it is later on notice what God says in Leviticus 10 watch what it says in verses 19 we get a clue of how made a banner by who went wrong the Bible says in verse 9 do not drink wine nor strong drink thou nor thy son Whitly when he go into the tabernacle of the congregation let's see guy why was God saying that because thanks exactly would need up in the body be those brothers were sipping on wine they got drunk they got inebriated their minds got messed up and they started trying to mix things in worship how do you know that look at what the rest of the verse says it says it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations watch verse 10 and that he may put difference between what holy and unholy and between unclean and clean that was the issue the young brothers was trying to mix holy with unholy they were trying to be clean with unclean so my question is very simple would we let rock and roll straight rock'n'roll within at that time the church chin son would do it so then we sit and I do rock and roll gospel that's taken clean with unclean you get that you see young people have to make sense if we're not going to play hip hop straight hip hop straight Jays in your home if we're not going to play straight hip-hop in the sanctuary then there should be no such thing as hip-hop gospel get that God is trying to say don't try to take holy with unholy don't try to take clean with unclean it does not work it leads to separation for God - make the Bible sense you see the world is looking for power everybody's looking for power but what they need is they need real power you see all these other things are false power it's true when somebody comes on a stage and sings one lyric and everybody starts training that does look like power when you go to some of these major concerts that looks like power but the problem is those people go home facing the same problems when the concerts over and believe me I've been to many concerts in my life when the conflict over people go home still having the battle depression they still have to face their diseases they still have to deal with the strange wife or estranged husband or strange children they still have to deal with job loss and all these other things see those concentrating real power is just the simulus is fake it's false it is a deception what Jesus said is that I have given the word something called the gospel and did you know that the gospel is a wonderful simplifier of life's problems you see the more that we understand the gospel like our scripture even said it says I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation the gospel contains real power it has the ability to satisfy the deepest longings of the heart it knows how to make those who are grieving still have peace it makes those who are threatened with unemployment's still have contentment it allows individuals who are suffering with sickness and disease to still have hope it allows us begs and sisters that even through the trials of life there's this strange peace that passes all understanding that walks with the child of God that's what the conference can't provide that's what the world can't about that is what all these false forms of power cannot provide but somebody says brother Leonard I hear what you're saying sounds great but I've been in the church and I've been listening to messages and I've gone through a lot of study and I'm still finding my life void of power I still find myself a slave to see I still find myself not loving God more than when I first joined the church X amount of years ago in fact I might be doubting God even more so what do you have to say to that brother lemon you know what I would say I would say then we need to go back to an old story there's an old story in the Bible that speaks to even that experience and there's a particular figure in the Bible that I want to highlight in this experience his name was the Apostle Paul the Apostle Paul found himself one day in Greece we got ourself into a dialogue that's going to reveal some things to us that I think we need to understand in this study right now and so I want us to turn our Bible to the book of acts 17 we're going to look at verses 16 to 34 and I want us to see some gems in this study now because these are quite a bit of verses I'm going to go ahead and do this I'm going to read one verse you'll read another then I'll be the next and you'll be the next and then we'll just keep taking it down until we ultimately get to the close so let's go to acts 17 right now and let's take a look at this story in the Bible because this story in the Bible I believe will even speak to the faithful church-going individual that maybe is not in the world maybe they're not playing around with the amalgamations of the world or mixing the holy with the unholy maybe there are some of us in this room that are going to church faithful returning tithes and offering and doing all that great things and yet we're saying hey I still don't have any power my heart is still bored and therefore I want us to take a look at this story there's some lessons in there for those who are going through that the Bible says in the book of Acts the seventeenth chapter you we're third in him when he saw the city wholly given to ideology then certain philosophers of the Epicureans and of the Stoics encountered him and some said what will this Babylon say others Sam he's seeming to be a set or fourth of strings gods because he preached unto them Jesus and the resurrection for thou bringest certain strange things to our ears we would know therefore what those things mean then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said he men of Athens I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious god that lead the world that all things therein seeing that he is Lord of Heaven and Earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands and as one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth and have determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation for in him we live and move and have our being as certain also of your own poets have said for we are also his offspring and the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent and when they heard of the resurrection of the game some mocked and others said we will hear the again of this matter and howbeit certain men play unto Him and believe among the which was Dionysius the air oppa guide and a woman named Damaris and others with then an incredible story of the Apostle Paul in Greece filled with paganism who said it was wholly given to idolatry so you're talking about a seriously pagan craze all sorts of hedonistic practices were being done there guaranteed and Paul is there and he sees all these individuals giving to ideology so obviously as hard as move he wants to go ahead and he wants to explain the gospel to these people he wants to teach the gospel into them so he begins going at it and he starts to explain the gospel obviously the people love to live into him because the people were always likely to hear something new surely all the people started gathering around for both those in Athens and even the visitors too strange if everybody came in because it was kind of the tradition it was the thing that people did they go over all these theories so they start going into it Paul begins to break down the Word of God and he even refers to their own writings confess some of your own poets did you see that when we were in that so he said even some of your own poets they said that God is like this and God is like that so Paul was familiar with this world that we would call the postmodern world this is the group that some people call the postmodern world this group with a stake you know what we're not into all these religions and all these things we have our own ways of deeming ourselves religious people and righteous and so on and therefore we're going to go ahead and be my selves God we're going to do our own things and we're going to acknowledge ourselves as if we're God we know what's right and wrong well here it is that Paul was reasoning with them science for science logic but logic and he was just meeting their minds where they were but did it bear a lot of fruit well you sound like you're not sure but I can help you see it you see it said in verse 32 and when they heard of the resurrection of the Dead it says some not certain that some people that heard him they were like and even though they're talking about they literally knocked down what he fit so some MOT and then it says and other said we will here be again but the people who said he will hear the again a lot of these folks were not very genuine because we just saw in verse 21 the people love to hear arguments so they don't have a problem hearing another argument whether they were not very convicted there was only a little bit of fruit that actually came from this dialogue this preaching of the gospel that the Apostle Paul did and that was in verse 34 where at least you had Dionysius Damaris and then a few other folks so he's doing all those gospel preaching and he's thinking that hey I'm meeting you science with science logic with logic etc and he's thinking sure many people are going to come to the Lord but it bore little fruit there are people today in the church that as a result of seeing that you're lacking in power sometimes these new theories and new ideologies come in that is one of the reasons why we have the issues we have right now we think that a some reason the church is outdated the church is behind the times the church needs to catch up and start to get a little bit more modernized and as a result of that you see a lot of things happening in the church today where we see it's as if the world is now converting the church rather than the church converting the world and individuals think that this is the actual gospel approach and people have the nerve to use the story of Paul in acts 17 to substantiate it this is why I believe we would do well to consider something you see go to the book of first Corinthians chapter 1 did you know that Paul had a shift he had a shift in thinking and i'ma prove it Paul had a shift in his thinking he he reviewed his limited success in Athens and then he commented on it last what he says in first Corinthians chapter 1 if you're there please say Amen watch this in first Corinthians chapter 1 you will notice that there is something called the gospel we talked about it we said the gospel equals God's power and it's God's power to save man from sin but let's notice something that was not as much an emphasis in Paul's sermon that needs to be an emphasis from going forward not just in his life but our own the Bible said the first corinthians ones we're going to start at verse 17 notice what he says here if you then say Amen the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 1:17 for Christ sent me not to baptize but to preach the way gospel not with wisdom of words lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect so when an individual preaches and they try to think that it's their wording that can captivate the minds of the people and get them to surrender the price that is what the Bible calls foolishness it is not any special kind of wording or any type of spirit special lyrical connections that we can put together that suddenly make people say wow he thought is so deep I just got to give my heart is easy it doesn't work like that notice what he says in verse 18 it says who the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is what the power of God now wait a minute I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes what is the Apostle Paul equating now to the power of God the preaching of what ah the preaching of the Cross you see this was not his emphasis in Athens in fact go a little bit further to verse 24 notice is it just the cross or just a simple pieces of wood that come together in a t-shape is that where the power is no notice what it says in verse 24 it says but unto them which are called both Jews and Greeks Christ the what the power of God and the wisdom of God so notice the preaching of the Cross the preaching of Christ no wonder Paul says what he says in 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 1 and 2 it says in first Corinthians 2 verse 1 and 2 he says and I roughly when I came to you - not with excellency of speech or of wisdom these are the things he came Athens with so he's where now he says I came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom declaring unto you the testimony of God verse 2 for I determined to know how many things I determined to know nothing among you save Jesus Christ and him crucified Paul learned the lesson Paul learned the power of the gospel is contained in a faithful understanding of Christ crucified and this is what was missing in his Athenian experience and as a result of that there was very little power and there was very little fruit we have a comment on it it had been Paul's testing - about an oratorical style in his preaching you see that it was his custom to adopt an oratorical stat he was really concerned about his feet his excellency of speech it goes on to say he was a man fitted to speak before - before the great learning men of Athens and his intellectual acquirements were often of value to him and preparing the way for the gospel he tried to do this in Athens it says meaning elephants with elephants philosophy with philosophy and logic with logic but he what this is what he failed to meet with the success he had before isn't that something continuing it says his after sight oh that means he was thinking that means that when the whole Athens experience was over now he's thinking you know every minister should always do that after same Arabic Minister should always get a moment to sit down and think about what he said and just ask himself did it make sense wasn't clear did the people get it you know kind of go through an assessment father were you pleased well here it is his afterthought watch this his eyesight led him to understand that there was something needed above human wisdom you see he was relying heavily on his human wisdom there's a lot of people who do that in church today going on it says God taught him that something above the world wisdom must come to him it says he must receive his power from a higher source in order to convict and convert sinners the Spirit of God must come into his work and sanctify every spiritual development he must eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of God so Paul was learning Paul was thinking I want you to learn I want you to think the church is presently in a tremendous crisis the world at large is looking at the church and say why should I become a hypocrite like the rest of you that is how a lot of people in the church Nicholas then you got a lot of young people that are saying I'm tired of Church I see no power there's nothing transforming in my life I need a change and you know what it seems like the world is more attractive to me right now than the church this is a real crisis we're in right now right now and a lot of people know how to come to church and eggs and if some of us can actually say Amen when in our hearts were saying I'm getting ready to get out of this church and leave Jesus once and for all God does not want that for one person soul but what we need is power real power keeping power so continuing many suppose oh my word this is powerful counseled many suppose that in order to reach the higher classes a manner of life and method of work must be adopted that would suit to their fastidious taste and appearance of wealth costly edifices expensive dress equipage and surroundings conformity to worldly customs the artificial polish of fashionable society classical culture the graces of oratory are thought to be essential read this please with me this is an error it's an Ellen that's not how you wink about how rich they are get their multi-billionaires you don't have to adopt all these things and try to keep up with Joneses quote/unquote supposedly the wind chances going on it says the way of worldly policy is not God's Way of reaching the higher classes that which will reach them effectually is a consistent unselfish presentation of the gospel of Christ now watch this getting deeper the experience of the Apostle Paul in meeting the Philosopher's of Athens has a lesson for us so noted after she broke all this down who does she associate with this concept the Apostle Paul you see that it says the experience of the Apostle Paul in meeting the philosophers of Athens has a message blessed in creating the gospel before the court of the aro pengus Paul met logic with logic and science with science and philosophy with philosophy the wisest of his hearers were astonished and silenced his words could not be controverted but the effort boy didn't fluke hew were led to accept the gospel henceforth Paul adopted a what kind of man a different matter of Labor he avoided elaborate arguments and discussion of theories and his sympathy pointed men and women to Christ as the Saviour of since I think we need more gospel preaching and teaching like this listen things there's nothing wrong with having good diction there's nothing wrong with being able to speak with intelligence we students we certainly shouldn't strive to speak like regular but when we begin to think that our intelligence are ignorant our oratorical skill or maybe our status you know we got a nice car nice house whatever we're going to think that that stuff makes us who we are we are grossly deceive it is an error God wants us to understand that we need to come into contact with Christ and him crucified the more that we understand the gospel residence this is when we will have power to do and captivate the extremely wealthy as what is the exceeding and abundant poor will be able to reach all class UDF of these young people we keep thinking we gotta change the gospel for young people I am a living witness right here in Georgia then you don't have to change the gospel even to win young people to God's truth I have met so many rebellious young people I've worked with young black men with their pants hanging off their backside looking like a bunch of looking at a bunch of sisters with their no cleavage and high miniskirts and doing all this stuff looking like they were literally prostitute in training we've worked with people like that my wife will tell you we have worked with these young people and we said we're not holding anything back into you we told them the truth we've told them what the Word of God said but you know what else we did we opened up our homes we realize you can't win young people just want to Sally you got to be involved in their lives after church after Saturday you got to call them on a Sunday you got to visit them on a Wednesday you got to care about people and the more that we began to do that work with those young people I saw brothers who were literally thugs and today they are full-time - no medical missionary evangelist seen that with my own eyes brothers and sisters we've seen young ladies that was going out in the world and today they are sanctified children of God that are representing true chastity in the name of womanhood she I don't believe that even young people need some different gospel supposedly some child Betty tale tight gospel and that's how we're going to win game they don't need that no but they don't need that big details are not going to show a single soul how to get to heaven and especially how to connect with Jesus in the most holy place VeggieTales will never do that and so it is we need to give our young people something better and what is that thing better Jesus says it's a true understanding of the gospel so let's talk about it let's bring some closing points on it well number one true repentance absolutely necessary we know that the Bible makes it clear true repentance is what the people of God need now if we can get to a place where we truly depend if we can get our young people to a place where they truly repent we can be on the road to the blotting out of sin let me show you that go to the book of Acts chapter 3 you see in Acts chapter 3 I want to show you that repentance is a wonderful start but at least for even greater free notice what the Bible says Acts chapter 3 you don't mind turning to a few texts read Amen that's how we do it so acts after 3 so notice what the Bible says in Acts chapter 3 just like the first 19 I believe repentance is necessary because I want you to see the end result of it in Acts chapter 3 and verse 19 notice what the Bible says here as we consider the verbs acts 3 and verse 19 up with FAA men alright the Bible says in acts 3:19 repent ye therefore and what comes next be one converted and then what happens that your sins may be what denied it out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord and he shall send who Jesus Christ so notice to repentance leads to true conversion which leads to the blotting out of sins and then leads to ultimately Christ's coming this is what Jesus wants to do in your life in my life right now so true repentance is where this thing begins brothers and sisters it's the wonderful road that we all need to experience but the question is how you and I know how this thing goes sometimes you say Lord I repent and one week later with that in the same sin we were painted about I believe perhaps every single one of us in this room that have had that experience right around alright so what is it that can help make a change what is that can help us have an experience or true repentance I believe 2nd Corinthians 7 has a secret for us what second Corinthians 7 very carefully I want to know how to get this to repentance but I need gospel power to make it happen so let's watch the connecting verses 2nd corinthians now we're looking at chapter 7 and i want you to see what the bible says here and watch the verses very carefully because god wants to do something special in your heart he wants to do something special in my heart he really wanted to prepare us because every side in the world and in the church is pointing to the fact that predation is about to close this world is getting ready to come to an end there is no question about it again even though humans are recognizing that and so what we want to do is be different from the heathen it is one thing to know but it's the better thing to know and be prepared for what's coming even's know something's going on but they don't know what to do God says and that knowing the time that now it is high time to awake out of sleep God says that's what I want you to do so what is it that can help awaken us to our true sinful condition and experience true repentance 2nd Corinthians 7 watch verses 9 and 10 the Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 7 9 and 10 now I rejoice not that you will make sorry but that you sorrow - what so notice that sorrow lead to repentance okay it goes on to say full he were made sorry after a godly manner that you might receive damage by us and nothing now verse 10 for what kind of sorrow godly sorrow works what repentance 2000 not to be repented of but the side of the world works dead so if you really want a carrot cake what's the key ingredient carrots if you really want a banana split what's the king he tea with anise if you really want true repentance what's the key ingredient godly sorrow yeah verse 10 said godly sorrow works repentance so the same way a carrot is key to a carrot take the same way a banana is key to a banana split is the same way godly salad is key to to repentance now the problem is simple how do we manufacture that you can't you can't we can shed tears I said O Lord I'm so sorry about that sin and 24 hours go right back to it that testifies without sorry you understand or it might be worldly sorrow at best which leads to death worldly sorrow is always consequence focus you have a said sorry because you are afraid of a consequence that's worldly sorrow that's what Judas did when Judas repented in Matthew 27 that's what he did really bad brother that was not true offended at all he was scared because he knew I betrayed an innocent man that's what he said right Deuteronomy 27 25 says cursed be the man that betrays an innocent person Judas knew I'm on the golf course I have betrayed it instantly he'll die and then he said I'm sorry Lord but he only said it because he knew God's purse was gonna fall upon it consequence focus sorrow leads to death that's what we should never say sorry just because we're focused on a consequence true godly saw is when we recognize like David did against thee and thee only have I sinned and done this evil in thy sight O Lord have mercy on the incentive father when we recognize we have broken the heart of God but the problem is we can't manufacture that it's just not in it we are so wired and then towards that which is evil and carnal that we can't manufacture a godly sorrow so the question is how is it produced Zechariah chapter 12 it is in Zechariah chapter 12 that I want you to see what the Bible shows you it's on the screen but you can of course look at it in your Bibles in Zechariah 12 and verse 10 we find the formula for producing this godly solid it says and I will pour upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication and they shall look upon me whom they have what peers and what would be defective they shall mourn as one mourns for his only son and shall be in bitterness as one who is in bitterness for his first-born last time I checked you cannot born without something they go hand in hand the Bible says the more that we look upon the one whom we have pierced it says it will literally create in us a solid and this makes sense because I just to read Romans 5 where it talks about fearful being justified by difficulty justified by faith your keys with God through our Lord Jesus Christ of whom we have access by faith and within this grace where do we stand and then it goes on to tell us and we know that tribulation which patience and patience experience experience hope and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is set abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost can't love God alone God has to put love in you the question is how does he do it he says look upon me in your fears the more that we study the cross the more that we focused on Calvary's the more that we understand what really took place 1831 God promises you he promises me he says I will put something in you you could never have put within yourself because I would put sorrow in your heart of God he solved that's gonna actually lead you to want to turn away from the thing that caused my son to die that you may live there is something about Calvary we can never escape it we can never get away from it even though Christ is no longer run across and he's in the most holy place there was blood in the most holy place - there's something about understanding the great tremendous sacrifice that Christ made on your behalf and on mine I always thought about it are you exactly I'll look at this look at chapter 13 yeah let me ask you a question let's say you went to visit a friend right you went to go visit a friend and when you went to visit your friend all you wanted to do is show some love anyone go hang out with your friends spend some time talk with them etc and then here it is you get to a point where you visit your friend and when you go to your friend's house and when you come in there and you're saying hey how you doing all of a sudden your friend just kind of smacked you in your face then after you smacks when you're faced any punches he takes your bag and closing and granny kicks it and then you start beating you down and kicks you out of the house and get out of your house now get out you're kicked out of your friend's house and you're deep down you're blood in your step is broken I mean you're really like just in a mess and then somebody comes to you and they say man what happened to your face do you know some of us he'd be so mad at that person that we probably wouldn't even refer to them as a friend we'll probably try to say something like that loser he kicked me he beat me up who did this and that we were probably called him everything but a friend because they clearly did not demonstrate friendship is that right but here goes Jesus and Zechariah 13 in verse 6 prophetically speaking I'll skip he has suffered the wounds from his friends the Bible says in Zechariah 13 in verse 6 it says that someone will come to him and say what are those wounds in thy hands and Jesus's answer is these wounds oh these are that which I receive in the house of my wife he still called you a friend he still called me a friend even though I beat him up even though I spit on you even though I treated him like trash and told him I don't care about you I don't care what you did for me I don't care what your sacrifice was to me I'm gonna do what I want when I want how I want and we would go ahead and sin and put Christ as it were back on the cross and crucify him afresh and Jesus says I still love you and I still want you to be my friend this is the kind of love brothers and sisters that does seventh-day Adventist church needs to dwell on a little longer we dwell so much of what was written on stone that some of our hearts will become like stone listen what I'm saying things we dwell so much on what was written on stone the syllable hearts have become like stone I've met a lot of hard Adventists and you know I used to be one of them I could tell you what the law of God requires in a heartbeat I can point out your sins blindfolded I can tell you what's wrong with the church and I can tell you what's wrong with everybody else but sooner or later somebody has to realize whoa is me I'm going everybody else always me is if I really understood how undone and how messed up I am then it's not that I would stop telling the world their sins it's not that I would stop telling the world or the church either their sins but a whole new dynamic would happen in my mind it will be born a heart filled with love for the Brethren rather than hate I would have veiled myself to do what I can to help lift you up even though I know you down you need more of this in the turns it's not that the message has to be watered down but it's just that we need some refreshing ourselves we need to be watered and calvary is the great leveler Cowdrey has a way of putting that compassion and that love and all these things in our hearts you see there's something about this great love of God that he wants to do always brings us back to the blood of Christ Colossians 1:20 and have him includes through the blood of his cross by him to reconcile all things unto himself by him I say whether they be things and earth or things in heaven the Bible says in Ephesians 1:7 in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace it was in Ephesians 2:13 but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off I made nigh by the blood of Christ it is in Hebrews 10 verse 19 having therefore brethren boldness to enter into the holiest even the holiest you mean to tell me there's blood emotional place yes yes yes it says having therefore brethren boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus yes the blood is the theme all throughout Scripture and the thing is what is the big deal or the significance of the blind you see blood represents two things in the Bible Leviticus 17:11 for the life of the flesh is in the blood so when you think of the blood of Christ you're thinking of the word of Christ of course Jesus says the life that I lived is now the life you can live foofie foofie we look at Jesus and we marvel at how holy and wonderful he was and he says don't you realize that the whole reason I came to Earth with who I can live an exemplary life that you can be holy and wonderful before my mouth this is what Christ was saying he said I was your example I was your perfect pattern man the life that I've ever seen that you can lay there like there's nobody in this room that has to smoke another cigarette there's nobody in this room that has to take another sip of alcohol there's nobody in this room that has to go back to the bed of fornication and sleep with somebody that's not your husband or not the way you don't have to do that why because Jesus says listen I came to this earth I had a sinful nature just like yours I was tempted in every point just like you and I did not sin once and Christ says that life that I lived is the life that I'm willing to literally input in you and impart unto you so you can live the same exact life that's how powerful the blood is it has how to cleanse from all sin I'm serious there is nobody in the room that has to go back to a pornographic website there's nobody in this room that you have to keep pushing and swearing you don't have to do any of those things that's the devil whispering in your ear telling you those lines you don't have to divorce your wife or your husband even though you see like everything has failed there is no heart that is so broken that God cannot mend it it's amazing did you know that the home is the heart of the community the church in the nation did you know that okay if you know that the home is the heart of the community the church in the nation that I challenge any of you I want you to one day go back to Luke 4 look at verse 18 again because Jesus said the Spirit of the Lord is upon me and then he not only said to preach the gospel to the poor he said to heal the brokenhearted this cannot just simply minister to you he can even repair your broken heart yeah your broken home if we just were simply willing to submit under the leading power of the master that's the power of the life of Christ but you know what that was the most amazing part of the life of Christ outside of his incredible life that he lived it was his sacrifice when we meditate on his sacrifice we have to understand that's what the blood represented - and you took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them saying drink ye all of it for this is my blood of the New Testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins so when you think of the blood of Christ you think both of those like and most importantly here's what sacrifice I guarantee you I don't care what your problem is and you walk with God if you follow the counsel of what I'm going to put on the screen as we prepare to close you will see the solution to the problems with our youth - the problem with adults and to the problems at large even in your study life or whatever else it may be I read this quote quite a long time ago but it's been deep in my consideration as of recent years it says let the cross of Christ be the science and how much education this is all education the center of how much teaching all teaching and how much study all studies so notices do this would be the first question that I would ask you if you're a Bible teacher in the room or anything like that I would ask you do you make the cross of Christ the science of all your education do you make it the center of all your teaching do you make it the center of all your study that's why sometimes people can have morning devotion and it does nothing to them it's kind of like checkmark you notice yeah I did a devotion this one but it does it did nothing for the heart why because sometimes we're not looking for the right things when you get up in the morning when you search the scriptures I'm saying father teach me a lesson about how we do this Calvin's all throughout Scripture if we really understand what Calvary was this is what I'm telling you this is that the cross of Christ but then what's the next point well sis it says let it the cross of Christ be brought into the daily experience in tactical life how do you do that how do you bring the cross into your daily experience and practically life you know what a daily experience is going to work grocery shopping that's a daily extreme that's practically like right how do you bring the cross into grocery shopping how do you bring across into all these good talk about that it almost sounds silly but it's not it's potent you see what would happen if we did this it says so will the Savior become to the youth a daily companion and friend every thought will be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ who doesn't want that do you want do you want a monthly Youth for Christ to be his daily companion and frame or her daily companion of Prince we want that for all of our young people don't you got to stay focused on Calvary in other words you got to be able to still see the most holy place you have to see the law of God you feel like to see judgment you still have to see victory over sin you serve to see all of the elements that are very indicative of the present truth for this hour but remember they all come together in Calgary you can't forget that part that's where I believe we made it absolutely horrific and gross mistake is we have been preaching cross left messages and we wonder why there's so much hard Ventus seriously since I'm just telling you the truth I can now speak from experience and one man with experience will dominate 99-93 and so it is that God wants us to understand there's something special he wants to do he doesn't want you to make Paul's mistakes he doesn't want you to have Paul's failures he wants you to at true repentance true conversion that the sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord and Jesus I'll come and bring you home with him but we must understand Calvary it is only because of time I wanted to do a little exercise with you I was going to show you practical lessons from the cross but I don't want to wear you out I know you all want to go so it's you know I won't i won't i won't burden you with this phase of the study unless you said no keep going then I will keep going if you don't say it and I'm just I want to give it to you things I just want you to get we'll do it as quickly as we can what are some practical lessons from the cross let's take our Bibles of Matthew 16:24 how do we bring the cross into the daily experience and practical life very quickly Matthew 16:24 and you know what I would like I would love it if one of you stood up in here with somebody be willing to stand and reading especially one of our young people I like to engage my young brothers and sisters if some I will be willing to stand and read Matthew 16 and verse 24 I will thoroughly appreciate that with somebody be willing to do that do the do the preacher a favor all right so we got one word in the camera into that so go ahead Matthew 16 and verse 24 go ahead then said Jesus unto his disciples If any man so what is the practical methods we learned the cross from the birds denial himself so the more that we understand the principle of denying ourselves is the more we are bringing the cross into the daily experience in practical life do you see how simple that is so they're going to be times where you're going to be tempted let's say you've made a decision like I had to make many years ago I was literally brought up in hip-hop culture I was hip-hop it wasn't that I listened to hip-hop I was hip-hop I literally lived the lifestyle of hip-hop culture and hip hop is a culture it's a religion we actually have a program on 3abn right now it's called tks a true knowledge of self and that program on three and being on the dare to dream network we actually speak about the hip-hop culture and what it's all about and we contrast that culture to Christian culture in having a true knowledge of self we have seen so many people from the hip-hop culture as a result of these messages starting to come out of hip-hop culture and are now following the Lord Jesus Christ we are eternally grateful for this I was hip-hop brothers and sisters so when I listen to the music and everything it was a part of me it moved me I didn't have to move to music the music moved me I represented the culture and the way that I talked the way that I walked the way that I acted the way that I thought it's a whole entire lifestyle well one day I learned that this stuff was wrong I learned that Christian culture supersedes hip-hop culture so one day I am tempted to go ahead and listen to certain forms of music that I already knew was not gay and I renounce so when that desire came to listen to the music I remembered Jesus denied himself that I could have life you know what Lord you did that for me by your grace I will do this for you even though my heart wants it I will deny myself and reject it because you have helped me understand it's no good for me what did I do I just brought the cost into my daily experience you understand that when you learn about health reform there's some health meetings coming up very soon where you learn about health performing you learn and I did for your body that God does not make it to be consumed then you and I have to understand that does not mean that you're not going to stop longing for you're going to pass these banking doing this you're going to pass the golden arches you're going to pass those places of glorified poison and you're going to see if they are on the road and when you see those things on the road you're going to have to start doing everything in your body is going to say man just turn it to the driveway but you got to deny yourself you're gonna have to remember to say Lord you know I want it but you did not want to go to the cross but you went there because you were thinking about me north I'm thinking about you right now I will deny myself and you go ahead and you turn away from that thing and this is how gospel power works practically it still involves choice but God is the source of that choice he just won't exercise it for you that's where God says I'm not gonna do that for you God says I've given you every resource everything but he says I want me to change that's why Joshua 24 she was begging him to assert first Kings 18 how long do you hold Poggi between two opinions if the Lord be God follow him Deuteronomy 30:19 if I present before you life and death blessings and cursings shoes life God believes in choice that's the way you bring across to your daily experience in practical life but there's one last one which is here Luke 22 Luke 22 who would read that one for Luke 22 and we're going to look at verses a 6262 who would be that man raise your hands we need real quick who's going to do that not everybody at once alright go ahead lose twenty to sixty or sister to go ahead read that for me ready the point 315 262 Peter denied Christ license Peter said man and immediately one yet well he has faked the through and the Lord turned and looked into Peter and she remember the word Lord Lord nobody had said unto him before the crow not me five now watch this notice that Peter did you follow Christ no did you follow Christ no did you follow Christ he denies the third time crows when the crows Peter suddenly looks and when he looks he sees Jesus looking right at our brothers and sisters honestly if you want somebody you're gonna betray me you're gonna turn your back on me and you're going to deny me and they're like no no I'm not going to do that no way it will never happen and they are just belligerent they are boldly like it's not going to happen and then the day comes that when somebody says do you know this person and they say no I don't know them and then all of a sudden they look at you after they've denied you and fulfilled the prophecy be honest some of us would look at them kind of like I told you you were going to do this you know who had that kind of facial look like I told you you were going to do this I wonder what Jesus's face look like when he connected with Peter after Peter denied it it sails in desire of Ages 712 here's what it says while the degrading oath was fresh upon Peters lips and the shrill crowing of the was still ringing in his ears it said the Savior turning from the frowning judges then looked full upon his poor disciple it was at the same time Peters eyes were drawn to his master what did Jesus is faithful like it says in that gentle countenance that means he had a gentle countenance he didn't have a rough exterior it was a gentle copy it says in that gentle countenance he read deep hidden and sorrow watch this but there was no anger though even fresh and hot in the mists of the denial Jesus had no anger in his heart towards his friend who denied him it says the sight of that pale suffering face those quivering lips it says that look of compassion and forgiveness pierced his heart like an arrow you know what I learned from that what I learn is his love was consistent even after being betrayed did you know that for lesson from Calvary when Jesus was writing his way to the close his love was consistent even after he was betrayed by family Peter was more than a friend to Jesus Peter was family he was family how do you act on your family betrayed you how do you keep your family members when they betray you ie cheat your friends your buddies when they portray you see brothers and sisters it's easy to repeat Bible verses from memory I promise rugged up for years and I was asking the unconverted I'm serious very very unconverted what we need is we need Christ in our hearts like for real for real we need to really be changed people and we need to respond even to the worst of things like Christ responded to the worst of things and this is what Calvary can't it's us that we're going to need because we're getting ready to come to a time where it's going to be unpopular to be seventh-day adventists it's gonna be unpopular while the rest of the world is joining an ecumenical movement while the rest of the world is joining together under one banner to try to have peace at any means necessary while the rest of the world is joining together there's going to be one group that says nope death before dishonor of God and whose law is the Christians model this will be a group of people that's going to say death before dishonor of God and his law is the Christians model and the world will look at us and say public enemy number one you are disrupting peace and it may be necessary even to remove the disruptors of peace the question is will you still be able to say Father forgive them for they know not what they do will you still be able to love even those who will betray us you know that's what great controversy says great controversy six the way says as the storm approaches a large class where professed faith and the third angels message but who would act sanctified through obedience to the truth will abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition and become the most biggest enemies of their former brethren are you prepared to still love those former brethren consistently when they betray Christ says this is the experience we need we need to understand Johnnie nipping at the cross of Calvary you will have a desire to bear the cross a world's Redeemer hung upon the cross of Calvary you hold the savior of the world and he dwelled all the fullness of the Godhead bodily can any look and behold the sacrifice of God's dear son and their hearts not be melted and broken ready to surrender to God heart and soul only you can answer that question and so we agree suppose upon message and I just wanted to encourage each and every one of you behold the cross that is where your power is something wonderful happens when we understand Calvary and it will literally put something in us sorrow forth in a love for God that as we cultivate it and develop it one day by God's grace your sins and my sins will be blotted out and Jesus shall come and he'll bring us home with it if it's your desire to say Lord I have not many Calvary my focus and he said it today but by the grace of God I will I want you to do for me what it is impossible for me to do for myself if that's the testimony I'd like to invite you to stand to your feet with me as we close that's your testimony and I like to invite you stand to your feet with me and as you stand understand you're making a decision you are making a decision you're saying Lord I recognize there hasn't been the right focus for me even in my study life even in my proclamations of your truth but I by your grace may be a new day young people I promise you if you make this your practice it will help you against your times of peer pressure it will help you in your tags and all your friends and whoever it is you know that tries to pull you away it'll give you wherewithal to stand and you just cultivate this experience and by God's grace you will be saved that's great again loving father we are so thankful we thank you Lord that we have beheld just a little bit about the story of Calvin you raised the church up to be the pillar and ground of truth we have truly been affected and infected with the powers of Satan and now many of us have been diminished to simply a form without power we need this power back but we can't get it by merely profession and looking at the external skill even like the Apostle Paul did it as Paul learned the lesson of Christ and him crucified please father help us to remember the lesson of Christ and him crucified and made this even be carried into our understanding of the most holy place and the great work that you're doing there to prepare us to have our sins blotted out rather than our names and we can receive the refreshing of heaven and we're going to go home with Jesus may this not simply be our desire may it be fulfilled by your grace in Jesus name Amen
