(Bad Australian Accent): Hello there! My name's Chloe, and today I'm gonna be opening up the Jazza's Arty Art Box! I'm so sorry to every Australian that's watching my video right now! *Record scratch* The Jazza's Arty Art Box! *Horror music* *HONK* So the YouTube art community over the past year or two has gotten absolutely huge. It's amazing to see there's so many incredible creators out there right now but, the one person that has remained the constant, the OG, original YouTube Art Creator is Jazza! *Heavenly music* Jazza is an Australian art YouTuber. He has been around for many many years and his videos are insanely fun to watch. So if you don't watch him, make sure you do. It's full of supplies and he did actually show everything that was in there in one of his videos but I deliberately did not watch it so that I would be surprised and I'm very excited. This thing is 3 pounds of art supplies! Um, but this is a collector's edition so there's only one of them and I'm just really excited to see what's inside and make art with what I find. So this box was actually a gift from Jazza. He sent it to me really really kindly, um, and he didn't have to do that because I actually bought this box within minutes of it being released and he sent me a message on Twitter and said "Hey, can you give me your order details? Because I want to send it as a gift instead." And he didn't have to do that cause I wanted to support him as a fellow artist but he sent me the box anyway, so thank you Jazza. It really means so much to me that you did that, you didn't have to, but thank you very very much. So inside we have - Oh my gosh, how cool is that? It's got his face! This is a little animated Jazza. So it says "put my face on your face. Have fun making some art and take a picture. Use the #jazzyartbox so I can see it. Camera shy? No problem, wear my face instead." I think I'm just gonna use this just to cover my face the entire time. Because I think people would rather look at THAT than THIS. So inside we have the beautiful orange paper... I ripped it! Oh no, I'm sorry Jazza. He wrote me a letter! He wrote me a letter! What? "Dear Chloe, I've been delighted to discover and fall in love with your channel over the last year and a half! Your bubbly personality, attitude and let's face it, accent -" (Bad Australian accent): Hello there! "- have often brightened my days. Aww! I hope you enjoy this little box of everything I love. Keep being amazing. All the best." Okay, I'm gonna frame this. It's not often you get a letter from your, your inspirations, is it? I've got a little bookmark! I'm gonna take that with me. We've got some Jazza art. So this box cost $100, but I think from memory, Jazza said there's at least $150 worth of products in here, which I can easily see that there is a lot of expensive stuff in here. So we have some Polychromos as you can see. I've actually never used Polychromos before so this should be very interesting to me. I've heard really good things about these so very excited. Next up we have some Graphix fineliners, I feel like I tried a couple of these in the past, but I've never had a proper set of them so, these look really cool. I think I'm gonna try and make some sort of cute cartoon type thing. *Gasps* Oh, we've got a mechanical pencil! This is so awesome because most of these boxes always just send you regular pencils. This is a 0.5 millimeter. So next up we have a Uni-ball Signo white pen. I actually really like these myself. I've used them in the past, mine are dried up though so I'm really happy that I've got one in this box because they're just really good for highlighting and just having that beautiful white link - white link? White INK! I think they're much better than the Gelly Roll pens that are so popular on YouTube actually. Next we have - Oh! This is his customized packaging! This is so cool, I'm so happy for him. So this is the Spectrum New Art Illustrator markers that are customized with Jazza's little avatar. They made me glossy! How cool does that look? That's so awesome! So I've never used Spectrum Noir markers before but I know Jazza really really likes them. And apparently they have a flexible line control, unsurpassed smooth coverage with a brush tip. So that's really really cool. I really like that he's included some markers in here because I don't really use markers too often so I think it'll be quite a challenge to figure out where I can use them. Ohh! Tombow? Oh, I think my friend Alice gave me one of these because I was so impressed with them! These are like, little tiny thin-line markers, I believe. Next up, we have - oh I got a little Prismacolor! Col-era -? *Gasps* Sorry, I'm getting really excited over a pencil. This is the Prismacolor Col-erase pencil which I'm really excited for because I know a lot of people that use these and I never have. Basically, these are like blue pencils that you can erase with an - a regular eraser. We've also got a Tombow water based marker. These markers are SO good, they've got like a little thin nib on one end and then a brush nib on the other. I really love using these. I don't get to use them too often, but I really do enjoy using them. Oh, okay, what's this? An Express It blending card? Oh, is it paper? Oh, it's paper! So this is what you can use with your markers I'm guessing, right? Let me have a look in case I'm being ignorant to that. So yes, this is actually paper that you can use with your markers. So we have a Global Art pencil case with 24 piece capacity. Oh, I can travel with this! Oh, this is really neat because you've got the flexibility to use these for anything so you don't actually have to fill it with pencils, you can fill it with like, erasers, markers, so that is really really cool. And last but not least we have a sketchbook! Sorry Jazza, I've dropped you! This is by Hahnemuhle, I hope I said that right. Hannah Mule? Nostalgie sketchbook. Okay, so the paper is acid-free. I've genuinely never heard of this sketchbook before so I'm really excited to see how it works and how it compares to other sketchbooks - *Gasps* Ooh, it has nice paper. That's awesome. Can you - I wonder if you can use like, markers on this or if this is just for pencils. I love the texture on this sketchbook as well, the paper inside's kind of like a thicker cardstock-type paper so that's really nice. And I'm not sure, I'll do a bit of research first, but I'm not sure if I can use markers on it or if it's just for the pencils, um, but yeah, if you've used a sketchbook before do let me know in the comments down below. So that's everything inside the box today, I am so excited because these aren't supplies that I personally would ever use so it's really nice to have a professional artist that does a different type of art to me, to have accumulated all of these supplies to put into one box. You can see that there's a lot of effort put into this and a lot of time was spent by Jazza to make sure that he had the perfect products that would work together. The thing is, it's easy enough to just put a bunch of art supplies in a box but to get art supplies that would all work together, that's where the challenges, and I think that's where a lot of art subscription companies go wrong. So I am desperate to start using these supplies now, so I'm gonna get going. So here are all of the supplies laid out up close and personal. I spent a good 20 minutes just staring at them and fiddling around with them, trying to figure out what to make because I just - I was in one of those head spaces where I just could not figure out what I wanted to make and THEN, I finally decided and I couldn't figure out if I wanted to use the sketchbook or the paper. Embarrassingly enough I actually couldn't figure out which side of the paper was the right side because I am a marker noob, so I ended up just using the sketchbook instead because I wanted to just play it safe. Uh, here you can see the beautiful colors of markers Jazza decided to include. As you can see they go perfectly with the Faber-Castell pencils which definitely made it a lot easier. And here is a lovely clip of me sharpening my Col-erase pencil. I dare you to try and figure out what I'm drawing before it becomes obvious and don't cheat because I will, I will somehow magically know. So can I just take a moment to apologize for my head? I bought a new arm clamp for my camera and clearly I didn't line it up well, so you get to look at the top of my head more than you do the art. I am really sorry. *Background music* Also, an important part of being an artist is to fling your art supplies across the table. That's how all the professionals do it. So as you can see or probably not clearly see because of my massive HEAD in the way, I decided to color Stitch in with the blue marker. The only trouble is, the blue marker was actually the darkest blue that I had and Stitch's nose is a lot darker than his fur, so I ended up trying to be a bit clever and used the black and blue pencil together to achieve the color I needed. I wasn't sure if it was gonna work because again, I'm, I'm a pencil noob, BUT it actually did work luckily. So, I also love mixing colored pencils with markers so it was really nice that Jazza put them both in the BOX! Also, I make art very much all over the place. I'd explain more what I'm doing, but as you can see I just basically colored in one part, then I fine-lined another part, and then I did more coloring and then more fine lining. Then, I blocked the screen some more with my head. So that's what it looks like. I'm terrible at fine lining, I have a really unstable hand that just likes to make very wonky lines. I saw Vexx's artwork in real life and it honestly looked like the most perfect graphic thing that you've ever seen in your life. How he does that I really don't know. But I need to learn because I cannot fine line. I feel like I always ruin my art when I do it, I don't know why, I just - I think I got away with it this time just because it was a cartoon but other than this, I always seem to mess up my fine lining. Also, I love to draw backgrounds but I've genuinely never done it with markers or pencils before, I'm sort of used to acrylic paint and digital paint where I can change it as much as I want. So my background marker skills were definitely questionable, especially at the start. I did attempt to give it a more Dr Seuss vibe, but I don't know if I did that. I did try but I don't know if I achieved that or not. But yeah, I think Jazza really picked some perfect colors in my opinion; I wasn't really sure if I could pull it off, but I think I ended up using every single color in the end. Um, I think he picked the perfect colors you could really be very versatile with. I also loved that he included the white pen because I think that really gave my drawing a bit of like, unh! Extra, something that it needed, that it was really lacking initially. Also, let's ignore the fact that I forgot Stitch's other foot. Let's all pretend it was buried in the sand, it wasn't supposed to be but that's what I'm gonna go with to hide the embarrassment of forgetting he actually had two feet. Um, but yeah, it's done. I'm very very happy with it, I'm happy that I managed to make it with the supplies in this box, which without a doubt by the way is my favorite art supply box to date, I know everyone's gonna joke like, "You're turning into an art subscription box unboxing channel!" I'm sorry, but I actually have more subscription boxes to open at some point, I'm not gonna overwhelm you but yeah. Okay, so I definitely feel that this is worth its weight in gold, Jazza really clearly spent such a long time putting all this together so thank you so much again Jazza, you did an absolutely wonderful job on this box. I loved it, I loved every second of making art with it, and I'm already planning on some other things that I can make with these supplies. So I hope those of you that got box as well, really enjoyed it. I'm sure you do. To those of you watching, thank you so much for watching this video, thank you again to Jazza for kindly sending me this wonderful box, take care of yourselves and I will see you in the next video. *End music*
