9-24-17 9A Service "Aim to Please God"

Isaiah 55 Isaiah 55 as they have 55 we are beginning and and and and I almost don't want to tell you what we don't begin to talk about because some of y'all gonna think this don't apply to you but it so seriously does to all of us we're beginning a series this morning on marriage I know it I already know I already know all things Oh God trust me when I tell you you want to be right where you are Isaiah 55 beginning at verses 6 through 11 is our text for the year come on Doc well he may be found while he may be found call ye upon him while he is near let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts yeah and let him return unto the Lord and He will have mercy upon him and to our God for he will abundantly pardon god will abundantly pardon as we return to him it is very important that you and I recognize that we have to return to him we have to align our thoughts with his and I'm gonna telling you there is I feel God wanting to do a realignment yes indeed come on read for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways saith the Lord yea for us the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts for us the rain cometh down in the snow from heaven and returneth not thither but water at the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater let me just say again every time I every time we read this I want to put this back in your spirit that there is nothing more important than keeping your heart both right and open and particularly when it is time for the Word of God to be ministered the reason being is if you get the word down on the inside it will make you bring forth what you ought to bring forth you and advocacy just reading for knowledge sake is not sufficient but if I let the word get down on the inside and see that means it's got the cuts past the crap that I keep up in front of it come on come on come on come on and if you know you easily offended you gonna straight up be offended today okay so it's got to cut past all of the facades and the foolishness and he says she said they say it's got to cut past that to deal that's why I said it's a personal thing we you may have written come in the car together but this is a personal moment we can all sing together but this is a personal moment and if I get the word down where it ought to be it can make me bring forth all right come on keep breathing so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth it's good it's shall not return unto me void right but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it well that's good news now watch this sneak over to Romans 12 these are foundational texts Romans 12 you remember verse 1 I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies or what now I'm gonna tell you right now we're not doing that on the level that God has called for it and so it's time to go ahead and get serious you know get get in get out and get run over something do something seriously yeah because we got to make sure that we present our bodies a living sacrifice if we do not present our bodies a living sacrifice let me tell you what your body will do your body will tell your mind how much of a sermon to take in y'all don't want me to talk it's plain as I could I know that no then we said later on me know because if you ever made up your mind you would get ready to go do something you weren't supposed to do anybody I mean you were straight up don't do it no matter what so no matter what they said anybody said to you between there and when you were going to clown you filtered it through because you wanted the clown so if I don't present my body first and go ahead and be willing to suffer first then my mind will start rationalizing what I hear and picking and choosing what it'll receive so it doesn't infringe on the plans it already has okay so but anyway he tells her to present your body give me verse 2 and then do living that's what I'm trying to get to don't copy the behavior and customs of this world yeah but let God transform you into a new person how's it gonna do that dot by changing the way you think about what y'all is I want a new life I got to change what now I'd intended this morning to begin the series on marriage and we know marriage is a covenant that I make with God to live with another imperfect person in a way that's gonna glorify God and then cause my needs to be met okay and so we're gonna talk about all marriage is this it's that and oh we got to get in line with God's thoughts I'd already planned this thing and I was gonna carry all over the March 6 and talk about how I already had it laid out late Trace I got like 24 pages of notes that's what happened when I go away and start sturdy that's just so and I'm trying to figure out how to trim that down and they're three or so sermons so I had already fixed that I'm gonna teach on the value the the vision and devices I got that thing outlined and so while I'm working on value and I'm working on what it means to esteem somebody because the bottom line is forward talk to people the way they talk to him if they value them that is if pills and if you and if you don't value somebody on a certain level you cannot receive from them your husband could start changing and you'll be there my why you're doing that because you don't value Oh Lord see I'm still gonna get to it anyway may not be this morning I was gonna talk about that concept of value it's even even even now people will remember the woman with the issue of blood when Jesus was passing by everybody touching him but she touched him with faith she valued the touch everybody else was just you know just reaching out but she thought there are people in the other day you just hear yours diaper and I'm glad to see you look good but the bottom line is you're just here but there are people sitting on the same road you're on and why you sitting a bit time I like the light so bright it's getting warm somebody breath is tight why are you going through all the changes somebody else is going feed me Lord feed feed me Jesus even speak to me God and they will leave differently than they came the woman with this your blood because she value Jesus when she touched him it changed everything you know and I was gonna talk about in mark 6 I'm get to it at some point how Jesus went into a place and because they were common with him he couldn't even help them you start limiting what somebody can pour into you you shut down their capacity when you don't value them but the Lord showed me you got to get stuff in the right order and the right order is not trying to learn to value each other the right order starts in valuing God [Applause] I'm thankful for the 41 claps you know I was watching as Bishop Haskell my brother was here and yes indeed and I listened and and and tourists let me what do you call it co-host him with him online and so as he was preaching and he was talking about prayer and profession and praise I'm writing in the stuff I'm typing and talking to everybody and Holy Ghost soon as service was over I was like God dog it that was good and soon his service was over the Holy Spirit started dealing with me he said that was that's that's my word he said but there's a component missing prayer is critical your profession and what you say is critical and pray and not tow him if he didn't preach that last thing I was sis I was struggling to do my job cuz I was in jealousy and envy while he was preaching the end of that thing I just that sound I just loved it he preached it out too but there is something lacking if purity is not in the mix oh this old-fashioned purity purity and the Holy Ghost forgetting to deal with me and I started writing he said because praise that does not come from a pure life is flattery and flattery is excessive compliments with an ulterior motive [Applause] if there is not purity if I don't have a passion to please God with my life okay I ain't got to get it let me let me move the church words out the way cuz sometimes search words hinder let's just take Church all out of it let's take Church all of it let's say you know read Miranda you got on some smooth socks and shoes I'm a mess with you just because I can I got the mic all right you a mother loosely and matching and stuff real smooth but now let's say let's say we're watching you like we're watching and Reverend Randy is tagging everything that walks Reverend's to women I'm saying could playing faster why are you doing that some of the other folks a man what he got a little H on him you better go here if that's see that's wrong watch this he's doing all that behind closed doors but then when he gets in public oh this is my wife Lucy Vincy gorgeous in she wonderful and he's just full always nobody like her oh she's so this she's so bad and yet when she is not when he is not with her he refuses no one he does not sacrifice his such a long day yesterday he does not sacrifice in his flesh because of their relationship but then when he gets with her he tries to overcompensate for the way he has not lived by doing a bunch of mouth stuff what would you think of the person or how would it feel to you to have somebody that gave you no no honor no respect no nothing they just do whatever they want to do but then when they get around you they just so sweet talking that's all I'm almost like that the person that beats their spouse and then buys them roses did you hear what just went through my hair I would take them Road they'd be picking thorns out your behind foot they would have to have surgery to get some of the thorns from where I would stretch your hands this way I feel a need for prayer [Applause] but are you understanding what I'm saying see we have to be careful when praise does not come from a place where the person is pursuing purity purposefully and honestly trying to live a holy life then that prays it's flattery it's excessive compliments with an ulterior motive that are perverted value do you value God do we value who he is enough to make choices to honor him what did that do it marriage you got to start see we want to start in the wrong spot God told me I was talking with Bishop ne and we were talking about some stuff and I said pip I said penny I said here's the thing the Lord dealing with me on we have made happiness and idol we have made it a god and so I told and I called God happiness it's kind of like money lady Tracy money is an amazing servant but it is a terrible master [Applause] happiness I wanted a legit time their tenure right the pastor here here's my sign here my thing right but she could I tell me I told you about this statement can I just be real see what are you usually you can I be honest you'll all the rest of the time what are we saying here but what they say cannot I got this you know I just snuck out again I'm not having a nun and that's it listen I I'm a person just like everybody else but if I run after happiness before I run after holiness if I if I want me to be happy before I want him to be happy oh boy yellow plaid okay here the other gonna slap you with this one when winning is everything see if you remember cheating is optional if winning is everything I mean if it is if it is the end up I'm gonna win come hell or high water no one at all I gotta win I gotta win when you gotta win then cheating becomes optional if that's the ultimate so if happiness is the ultimate then if you won't act right I'll go get you she's gonna stay in a week another week she came back a little hot stroke we're not they don't have this thing in order to go to revelation for y'all get man where is the cry that says Jesus you are more important than anything you saved me that's what oh I'm so glad I'm not wrapped up in these cults and all of this other foolishness and all of that mess and that I know that Jesus is Lord and that he's washed my sins away where is the heart that says I want to obey you and serve you and my ultimate goal is to please you see watch this I don't have to worry about trying to talk nice to lady Tracy you know just because I'm doing I know any of on some things alright only cuz then if I do it and she won't respond back I'd be like wait hold up remember who taught me the custard on't play Richard Pryor y'all don't remember that back on the main track tapes and I'm trying to tell ya see then it becomes tic for tack but if me talking to Tracy really didn't have anything to do with Tracy it's me talking kind to her really has everything to do with the fact that I'm trying to please God then it doesn't matter if Tracy don't respond right if she don't respond belong she trying to hurt me again I told y'all called police on you in a minute but as long as she's not trying to violate me I'm not gonna get tangled up in the two months because ultimately my goal is to please God I got a few hands in one standing y'all in revelation 4:11 I think we need to go back in women Bishop where you you'll enjoy this you probably you you've preached us not out of this thing I did a series well I did a power class our church didn't really catch it like I wanted them to on defeating weariness I went I took it a couple places and Lord just laid the flo cut for the out but purpose provides perspective perspective gives birth to posture posture is steadied by the right point of reference the right point of reference assists us with patience patience makes it possible to focus on the payoff and the payoff is the propeller through the process that's tight ain't it see Bishop appreciate that kind of thing that's a revival but purpose is what provides perspective so if I'm out here trying to have happy relationships and that is important has its place but if that is my motive and see your motivation is it's the thing you got to really scrutinize two men can ask two men can take the clothes off up a little girl one of them goes to jail and the other one gets an award one of them's a doctor and one of the nasty grandfather the motivation for that yelling go talk to me ain't got no church now what is the motivation for it I gotta check out motivation yeah I'm gonna be happy no problems there you ever want to have a relationship no worries there but if my ultimate goal it's just not happiness then I have nothing to ground me because then if you don't respond like I wanted to bump him let me find somebody else but if my goal is to please God with my life he's gonna get the overflow because God I go let me talk to him but some kind of any kind of way god I don't let me y'all they say one two three four five six seven have we read the verse yet I was trying the revelation full of anything unless I don't want to read it I'm trying to the Bible sighs thou art worthy O Lord yeah to receive glory and honor and power for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were educated has created the please God you were created let's see watch this now a lot of people think lower okay I guess I live this the way of the Cross that's what pinnacle doesn't either way across we think that if we live holy we won't be happy but that's because the devil does a great job of deceiving [Applause] created to please God we're created to have that on our mind created the way I work my job I want to please him the way I talk to my friends I want to please them the way I handle my money I want to please him everything I can't I'm not going to be controlling and and manipulative and play all those mind games what that doesn't please God and not to come to a point where I believe that if I please God since I got a new name see I want to do people believe this stuff because the Bible says I got a new nature so my spirit the essence of Who I am is new connected to God and is going to be happiest when I am in complete communion now how real y'all want to go this morning okay only the first couple folk up in these roads the only body the back wanted to get real this morning okay I appreciate you thank you I know what it is to get deceived and you start cuz I'm and it makes complete sense so I'm telling you when you get to see that mess make sense to you I just feel like I could do more for God if I was happy now some phony got dog it I don't see how y'all even come to church you it's wearing me out I told myself knowing that the thing was seeing put in my mind well I don't know if it was my mind or moving on y'all heard that y'all take it some other parts see you'll be there if you get the sand so I know God said is wrong however this can't be what he wants for your life and so we started started making the pursuit of happiness my purpose and the purpose according to rebel the Bible that we got it we're who got Bibles a little on your phone where the phone folks iPad folks tablets whatnot who just depends on the screen and thank God for church was screaming all right just one throw that out on this thing but in the Bible you're either holding or hoping to look at we were created to pleasing we were created to live holy lives we were created that trust him as a god if this is what you want me to do even though the rest of me wants to do that I'm gonna trust you and do this because you will work this pain for my good so that ultimately I will be and if my praise is not connected to purity its perverted flattery and it makes God sick no that's my Bible y'all because when they tried to offer sick Lambs and stuff guy said what is this mess I don't want that see we think of sick lamb or a half-hearted praise is one that's because I don't even when I take that doughnut thank you Jesus thank you Lord and we thought you need to get come on here you ain't serious but watch this Oh God and still clowning ain't serious either thank you for coming today grace and peace be unto you yeah are you serious my turn around broke down but it's stealing from us let me tell you something this many people that have a desire to please God if we were living a touch of what we supposed to do man we would start worshiping and people would be getting healed and delivered and set free if we had a passion to go after God in purity and not be so conformed to the world we are putting more time into what we wear and in how we appear and all of these other things that I'm saying God is calling for his church to come home to come back the holiness come back the purity [Applause] is listening bishop G passes I'm a live so God can use me anywhere anytime I'm going to live so God can use me anywhere Lord anytime what we don't sing that like that now no y'all seen those stuff like Hitler's stuff like that will shut your plans down yes I should at least mention marriage but go to Philippians 4 verse 11 we don't want to raise the next generation that doesn't understand it please and God is to go I'm telling you once you settled that and then start working on the rest cuz she if I said anything you good yeah why would I not be on the wrong day and you would think I wouldn't be so sensitive but then I get sensitive thing like when I get the 2219 when I go home and I get sensitive and hey there you good yeah why would it not be don't know no worries see that's how the old Saints would do it something would happen and they would pray until they passed the moment to want to see it they would say no gods you got hit all God in the name of Jesus keep my heart keep my mind or god I need to please you let the words of my mouth meditation of my heart be acceptable in you God I can't say what's in my mind watch my god watch my mind see that's how we did that's how we handled it we rather desire to please God because you can win in the moment and lose in the big scheme of things I don't want to gain the world and lose my soul you follow what I'm saying Philippians 4:11 says not that I speak in respect to all I was talking he told him y'all send me some offering it's just let's deal with the context he said send some offering because I'm trying to do some things and you know going through stuff to prison I need some money I got some stuff do right all right so he said but understand I'm not trying to squeeze you for money to be trifling he said because I've learned something watch this read it now before I have learned in whatsoever state I am therewith to be continued now he was talking about whether he had or didn't have but can we just talk for a second married or not the ability to be content ain't about the state it's about what you've learned I remember some years ago everybody was all excited of juanita bottom was teaching no more sheets and when you really get when you get yourself you can't even cook what you gonna do with a man when you can cook let me do some folk they can cook clean and everything else and they not married and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with you whatever state you're in you learn to be that's something you learn you see Oh God rich is my mama Marge watch this we gotta learn how to be content if we don't learn to have our life in God then we get married and you know what we're like tres we're like two people under water with one with one oxygen tank fightin and while I'm getting air I'm killing you and then after why you can't take it no more so then I think we got a couple seats up here I love y'all yeah y'all Saddles I have to offer you travel the world you minister you become what God told you to be and then wrong with you and even try to act like you're not spiritual enough it's a joke because a lot of us I know toys still don't know what made him make ask me you know we had a 30 year anniversary the other day did you think about that I know he's wondering what am I talking about September 9th oh he knows he's used to keep some day but September 9th was 30 days since I got it we got engaged 30 years days years months a day with the Lord is that dump this plane 30 years 30 years you gonna run heaven watch what I tell you what but are you understanding you have to learn and being married does not mean that you graduated in fact Paul when he begins to minister Paul says I wish y'all could be like hell but now you got to have the gift to keep yourself together because the ultimate goal is to live holy and please God so before women let ya thank you Jesus so like up all that single year you can't be single and sex in I'll see my flats wore down you saw that happen all the rest everybody was standing up till then y'all ready to get into the lesson y'all were just clowning something fierce we need to get an understand you got to learn to be content one of the things that strange relationships is that people do not find their life and their deliverance in God before adding another person so then they get married and they try to control the other person because they want them to beat this and they ain't nobody gonna live up under your thumb you're gonna be standing there like me by yourself like this this is a different day Oh watch this are they you wonder I need my key he can't even go nowhere you stuck to him like a tick y'all don't remember that now I believe y'all are hang together now all that comes to my get it but I'm again we're not looking at the action right now we're looking at the motivation purpose provides perspective if I don't get the purpose right the perspective is gonna be messed up if I don't understand that even being married my life is not just about that my life is still about pleasing God give me Matthew 19 yeah we're gonna it's time to time to take the crackers out the diet it's time to time to go low-carb just meat yeah we're gonna be it's gonna be interesting to see how many of y'all can hang because Jesus had a good crowd going till he said it's time to eat me and not these fish sandwiches foot went the scattering like you hadn't seen got to live holy got to live right got to have your motivation right you remember that do you remember the teaching for Bishop the teaching perfect and I know we're gonna read go to Matthew 19 verses 4 through 6 but Bishop when I was teaching on weariness purpose provides perspective miss Benet you remember that teacher purpose provides perspective and I was talking about you did you ever see the movie where Chevy Chase was going to Walley world and that thing was close [Applause] when I tell you he went down didn't he melt he lost it he said oh he's opening today son you gotta watch it see and so I used the example let's say I was sitting let's say I contracted with one of my brothers and I say hey Doc look I need you to work for me this this week in Kissimmee Florida okay and I say look now you're gonna be working probably from 8:00 to 5:00 I'm gonna tell you that now so you probably won't get a chance to go to Disneyworld because I'm sending you down there to work what about what was it see you down there to work right so you already know I'm sending you there to work now if you get a chance to go great okay but I'm telling you from the jump your purpose is to so now you get down there Monday 8:00 to 5:00 okay baby tomorrow get out early to see hate to and then he said okay well Wednesday I'm we can go to Magic Kingdom that's open at 9:00 and then after work they call a special mandatory dinner and work session you get through it 8:30 see baby upset over it then fry to come you don't get to go now watch this are you disappointed of course you are but you ain't trying to burn it down you're not trying to put dynamite up under the door somebody I bet you I will ride why why why are you more calm in that situation why aren't you having the meltdown Chevy Chase head because you knew that was not your purpose for going but if you only had one week and you save for three years and you almost had to catch you drove car broke down called a bus had to call your cousin who live giorgia to carry the last half of the way and you get that and Oprah renting it out how do you do baby kick you would go you flip out because your purpose what's fine that's what we're doing our purpose is fun and personal enjoyment so when it doesn't happen we're flipping out but if we understood that this relationship though it is great and it has blessings and yeah you get to have sex in the ass Jesus loves me no I mean although all that stare your purpose is to please God so the bottom line is marriage becomes much like other things it's whatever state all right give me Matthew 19 some sweet people verse 4 come on and he answered and said unto them have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female uh-huh and said for this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall cleave to his wife yea and they twain shall be one flesh this thing is real come on wherefore they are no more Twain but one flesh what therefore God hath joined together let no man put asunder I'm not trying to minimize the importance of the covenant relationship but y'all before we can deal with how to value each other we got a value God now I'm gonna show you something God called them together is that what you saw everybody's did y'all see it alright dude this is Bible right but watch this let's go on and throw a little fly in the ointment marriage is not an eternal relationship [Music] let me tell you what I mean Matthew 22 verse 30 does not mean that you ought to be switching spouses out like drawers let's be clear folk you know our underwear excuse me y'all was so busy you you know what they would call back home when to go grow there's one plan no no he said it is a covenant but I need you to hear this it is not an eternal relationship and when we read the book of Corinthians which we're trying to get to in these last six minutes you're gonna see why Paul you're gonna see why I took this road Matthew 22 verse 30 says what for in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are as the angels of God in heaven Oh Selah c-come on now I know you love you would you book a bush workable she's so fat she's like fine but she's only full-time you ain't gonna pass on and get to heaven and into my dick Oh bad day you'll say hi my name's so who are you or if he knows it's like hey Rosie you going to worship I'm on my way to the you get a hold of that he says marriage is not an eternal relationship so yes I want yes I want to be happy and it don't no doubt yes I want to go God but ultimately it's about pleasing God because the only real eternal relationship that I need to be motivated by is his I'm gonna live with him forever and all of us gotta stand before God and we cannot do it sinful and selfish and self-centered okay let's go to first Corinthians that's taxes I asked y'all on the phone call where y'all gonna be wit me I guess that's just first Corinthians 7 everybody loves first Corinthians 7 because it starts talking about concern you things verse 1 it's good for a man not to touch a woman no no no man like that verse they all hate that one that's when you see brother somebody yet you need to read the Greek though what's degree another it's another interpretation he said nevertheless to avoid fornication you get you gather get married if you cannot contain yourself which needs to be your pursuit because we remember getting married you still have times where you got to be able to contain yourself because you may be grinning and she may have Eddie or she may be grinning at him in my back I don't know I don't just look down [Applause] this verse 3 & 3 & 4 said look don't be playing games in your relationship because you do have physical needs and so make sure you're not using them manipulate each other right verse 5 don't be don't be clowning all right now if you make a decision hey I need to seek the Lord about some and don't be trying to seek him for like you know you ain't seeking him for that long you're gonna quit playing Paul says I wish I were like me and then he said son marrying widows he goes on he said but if you verse 9 cannot contain because he's trying to get you to see that containing is critical now I want you to go to verse 27 and through 35 we'll go read the NIV and then I'm just gonna leave you with a couple of statements Paul and the reason I want to say this to you the text doesn't mean anything if it's not in context what'd I just say the text doesn't mean if it's not in this is what I mean by that you can't take a conversation I had with Deacon Florence and then snatch it and try to make it apply to something that I don't know nothing about do you see what I'm saying that's taking my words out of context okay you need to understand when we start reading about all this marriage and if you can't this and you should marry and whatever that I you need to understand Paul is writing the Corinthian church and this is his goal he's saying to them y'all got a lot of gifts but you live a hot mess you gotta stand before God so stop being carnal chapter one he said you got to stand before Jesus stop being carnal so stop fighting each other chapter two you gotta stand up for Jesus soon so stop being carnal and stop trying to minimize my gifting so you don't have to live clean chapter three you gotta stand before Jesus soon so stop being carnal and getting into cliques and factions instead of connecting with each other stop being in this group tell me I don't like them and you sit over here and don't say nothing to me stop it you gotta stand up for God and hell ain't cute in chapter 4 he said you gotta stand before Jesus soon stop being carnal stop trying to marginalize me by judging me Paul said I've suffered enough to be able to speak into your life chapter 6 he said y'all gotta stand before Jesus soon stop being carnal and stop being heartless and money-hungry taking each other to court acting worldly he said you have got to stand before God chapter 7 he's saying you gotta stand before God stop being carnal and acting getting all applicants out of come out of short over whether you're single or married this or that because ultimately you gotta stand before God read verse 27 through 35 in the New Living Translation NIV I'm sorry I said in IV that's what I mean thank y'all for having be on top of it are you pledged to a woman mm-hmm do not seek to be released in other words you say if you're already bound of your man he said don't be to my well pastor with Jesus soon to come then I'm gonna just go in there for self cuz she weren't no no now again now I always have a hard time when I preach this cuz you always have two or three crazy people who are carrying their spouse through hell and then they want to come back and use what I say Lucia you crazy don't nobody want to stay with crazy did I slip into another language or something am I still in English I want to stay in English now I don't want to go over into the Holy Ghost tongues right now they stay English please and God is that ultimately and keep reading are you free from such a commitment do not look for a wife I said man I'm just basically saying he said look it's all about living for God come on but if you do marry you have not so you got seen if you say pastor I am living for God I want to please him more than anything but I need the Lord to come through for me cuz Wow yeah I said okay he said you've not sinned then that's okay come on and if a virgin marries she is not seeing right but those who marry will face many troubles in this life and he said bottom line all I'm saying is he said when you get married you have to understand that there are some constraints now there are other things that you have to consider nothing wrong with it but just be mindful of it again the away and God spoke to me to give us lady a thousand thousand dollars and so we're just kind of talking and she's getting ready to needed to buy a golf cart or something like that and you know I'm so happy to have a thousand dollars because y'all know how money can get a little funny right here but oh y'all don't know nothing well lord please bring out the offering buckets again because they don't know nothing about what I'm saying there must be more money sitting up in here I can imagine way anyway so when you know money gets a little you know interested in things you got children and multiple things going back to school and he spoke to me and I said Lord no no worries we started talking I said look okay so I reached out I counted it out I was so happy to have it did they prior cuz you know how to do nothing right but feeling better do my hands like yeah okay yeah gone no worries he said because that's how I want you to live that doesn't mean you don't save that doesn't mean you don't can't you I can't do that my ultimate goal has to be to please God that's where I get my strength that's where I get my life Jesus is where I got my hope G on Christ the solid rock I stand all the remember four head kids you just run to the store you could run all your errands then when you have a little baby that thing is different may take a long time to get that tail in that car seat you hear me I'm and you listen it'll store it right that you can't leave that child in their car seat you gotta take the time come on breathe and his interests are divided come on an unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's Affairs her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit but a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world how she can please her husband come on get this last part in I am saying this for your own good not to restrict you not to if I didn't bring up all this stuff of marriage to try to restrict you God's laws are not to take from us in the same way when we kill a boy something doesn't mean about trying to take your fun I'm trying to help you because whatever you do without effective way he's I'm not trying to restrict you he said but the goal is that you would live in a right way with undivided back on the screen with undivided devotion to the Lord let me say this to you before we go God want to hold it people it's too it's gotten too loose and too messy that's why we're not happening for all this sleeping around and clowning and staying any and everything talking and wait your worship you know you can't you know God ain't receiving their you already know you already know and I you know you you you feel rich that you feel that you you already know it ain't it ain't providing the joy let me tell you what gives you joy a wholehearted pursuit of what's right let me tell you something if I run mother Ella if I run the best I can now y'all know ain't no ain't no Springer if I run the best I can and if I have hurdles and I jump and I fall but I'm doing the best I can and I get right back up and I run and I'm doing the best I can when I get there can't nobody say nothing to me because I gave it my all and and and and and when and I'll close was when I was in Utah and and we had to walk up this it was a mile and a half wall but it went from like down here up two or three thousand feet up and I didn't think I could do it is the hardest physical thing I have ever done and it was so hard I couldn't hardly breathe and we're fifty six feet above sea level that was 7500 air was so thin I was struggling and I just kept going I would stop and everything was hurting and I kept going when I got close everybody was cheering and when I walk I'm about terra-man when I walked across that line I burst out crying I didn't give a flip what my time was I make it ah I made it and when you do the best you can to live a holy life and a righteous life and you're climbing and sometimes hurting and aching and tears streaming and sometimes you fall not cuz you dive but you do your very best when you get to your father God told me in here today people need to return to their first love because you made yourself your first love and it's killing you to do it you've made happiness your new Idol and it's killing you do you value him first that's who we first married to you follow what I'm saying so here's the deal you know I was a lot of times we talk ask Christ into your heart and all that but you know [Music] Jesus told people follow me we want I think we are more in love with the simple ask into your heart because it's a one-time thing we can do jesus said take up your cross and follow me I will overcome have to overcome the world for us if he was telling the cycle I will overcome the world he has overcome the world for us he has beat death hell and the grave he has faith for every sin he said but if you will come after me deny yourself take up your cross and crucify yourself literally on it each day so you can follow me and please me and if you seek first the kingdom and his righteousness holy living right standing I'll add other stuff I believe you out there but if your motivation is wrong then whatever you do when my motivation is improper my expectation becomes manipulation what I do my act am I actually what I do becomes a manipulation to get that X oh that's not good it's time to return to our first love that's what he told me who needs to return to their first love and quit all this foolishness stand up ain't got enough room at the altar cuz it's a lot of people just stand up you don't got to clap today I appreciate just stand up because it don't make sense to keep this foolishness up it's time to go ahead and be all-in there's some more folks need to get up give you a chance because it's time somebody asks you are you living hold it if you can't say yes Thank You doc yeah I appreciate real people Jesus yo say what I'm saying you can't say yes because I at least need to get to a place where I can be faithful with him you done done too much for me for me to keep clowning and any issue of what we're gonna talk when we start talking about the fire and the desire sexual desire that's gonna be so fun I can't wait to get to it but you know there's no way to contain your fire there if there's no fire in here for him it's just saying no way and you ain't gonna do it so let's save time let's get right you got something in your heart against people that's the same kind of thing see there's a lot of people Oh Lord me pin again I'm a preacher my dirt is in my head oh I'm a preach that a lot of people use you sexual sin aho issue now you ain't never really been that hyper but you can be as hateful as anything in this world you unforgiving well my thing is if we're not here to make each other feel bad but the thing is we're here together man let's get it together let's get it right I want to be right you see what I'm saying I want I want I want to be able to come in and say lord I love you and I just thank you and I'll hands up and ain't shame about nothing you see what I'm saying and you say well yeah never be that perfect remember it's about how intentional and how purposeful is my pursuit if you do your very best on the test and don't get by the 70s oh well took that person will shout yeah glory I slipped on I won't do it but when you know you have studied any you get that 70 I know I could have done better than this some of you got ministries yet stuff and push to the side five six seven eight years you could have been served we could have this this church could be overflowing four times the Sunday but sin has been sneaking in it's time to put aside everything is to God I wanna be faithful to you I want to value what you think and that's why I can't do not about what they do it's you gonna judge me for me ain't got none doing nobody else so let me pray those of you that are standing I'm standing with you and I speak blessing over you because see when you come clean with God then God can help cover you as he cleanses you but people who won't tell it see at that at that point eat you no father in the name of Jesus we thank you this morning Lord you called us to be holy you say you created us in righteousness and true holiness you've given us a new spirit and Lord same thing you said in the Corinthians that they were in you and yet they had become so carnal Lord forgive us for sinning forgive us for protecting wrongdoing of any kind in our lives we want to be right we want to be holy we want to be people of love and righteousness so today Lord we go back to that moment where we stop letting your voice be the loudest and ask you to forgive us and we turn down the volume on fleshly desires other people and the foolishness of this world and we cut up the volume of your voice it's your voice that we want to hear say well done it's your voice that we want to obey and Lord to this end we ask for the help of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name Amen [Applause] we're aligning our thoughts what he is everybody's standing late Tracy this is when you won them services the Lord told me to focus things more deliverance not from every time you turn around I got to bend your head back with oil but to go back that's that reminds you of back in the day preaching because we got to get clean is stealing our joy is stealing our effectiveness it's still it's feeling the good things God wants to give us but I tell you what you watch what get ready to happen you mess around and make God's voice the loudest voice in your ear you start making sure you make your decisions to please him watch what oh my god watch what God can read do up in here watch what he getting ready do in your life because then when you'll have purity and you praise God that things that thing is seriously when you say Lord ain't nobody like you and he knows you mean it because you showed it to him this week when you decided not
