60. Fire & Ice Dutch Pour: Trying to do Molly Proud!! 🔥 🧊

[Music] hi guys welcome to my channel my name is erisa and this is arissaroo art and i've got my pigments i'm so excited i had i got in my mailbox i finally went to my mailbox today and i got 12 new pigments from leslie at color art and these pigments are beautiful um i'm right by the camera or the microphone and this camera so i'm trying not to blow your ears out but if it's too loud i'll just quiet it down in the editing so i wanted to show you the different pigments i got they're beautiful okay guys i just wanted to do a voice over here so i can speed the video up a little bit for you this first one is called luna and it is this smoky silvery gray with this violet undertone to it that is just absolutely stunning and i'm so happy with this color and there are four of these smoky colors the next one is called aurora and look at the peachy undertone to that one it is like i don't even understand how that happens and it's so funny when you look at the colors like if you look look at that that doesn't even look like it would produce that but then you you mix them with your pouring medium and you get these beautiful colors the next one is angel wings and it's got this lovely blue undertone to it oh look at that and you know i love blue the last of these shifty ones is called rain and look at this green oh my gosh it's so so so pretty i love it so here are the colors the first one is called parisian lily and it is absolutely a stunning pink look how gorgeous this color is it is just sparkly and amazing and these colors can all go in resin too which is just it's going to be amazing i can't wait to try them in resin the next one is called meadow and it's this beautiful greeny turquoisey oh my gosh look at that it's just like a perfect perfect color and then we have glass wings but oh man look at the glass wings it's spectacular it's got a gold shift to it and i absolutely love it these colors are so beautiful then we have uh chalcedony i say that one oddly but it's it's a really really pretty color it is just a long word and so but here it is for you mixed up and it's one of my favorites in this group but look how beautiful it is with like a lilac light lackey purple with a blue shift i love it and then we have indigo and we're gonna get into some colors that are just like absolutely amazing so this one coming up here is indigo it's like it's it's i can't even describe how beautiful these colors are and then leslie and her yellows i don't know what she does that is so magical but these yellows are amazing and this one is um isadora and i love it so much i love her yellows she's made me use yellow and then we have coming up we have oh sorry we're still on the yellow that was from our last group that was um mango mamba but here we have coming up is oasis and look how stunning this blue is the sparkle in here and how they hit the light is oh my gosh it's so amazing and then my last color here is byzantine and it's my absolute favorite here it's just a stunning stunning stunning blue and i look at that it's so beautiful i'm so happy with these colors and i'm they're just going to be absolutely stunning and everything i use squares but i love how they turn out when people do them well and i never do them because they intimidate the heck out of me it's so hard to get a square the competition the way i want it for a dutch port which is what i'm doing on this square it is a 24 by 24 inch gallery wrapped square i am channeling miss molly from molly molly's artistry who's done some beautiful fire and ice um pours and i'm gonna do it on one canvas the latest i was watching it's not the latest she's done it done it a while ago but i was re-watching one from a bit ago and it's just so gorgeous so i want to do it so i am using a mixture of tube paints and primary elements though and with dutch pores for primary elements you really need to add a pouring medium to them that's going to bind them you cannot add pigments just to flow draw because the phloetrol doesn't have a binder on it and as soon as you blow them out as soon as they relax they'll spread out on you and you'll lose your composition so i have used a recipe that missed tammy from tammy and tammy anderson she came up with that recipe i'm going to link it in the channel i'll link to this her video in the description below but i'll also write down the recipe um as i used it simply because the batch that she made was smaller and i made a bigger batch so i'll put the math that i did in the description below i'm using six colors on each side i believe i'm gonna go ice here fire here kind of in that l situation and i will show you the colors as i pour them um the primary elements and the blingit um pigments i use are so gorgeous so i'll show you those colors as i lay them but for now let's just get started so this is going to be the um greenish blue by amsterdam so this is going to be my fire side and so i always like my dutch poor colors a little thick i've said that on my channel before i don't like my colors too runny at all this next color is a bling it from color art and it is called oasis and that is how it dries on the top if you could see that this is how it looks in the cup i love it so much so i don't want to add too much paint i do always add a lot of paint to my dutch pores and i'm always annoyed with myself the next one is abalone shell from color art so it's just kind of a sparkle pigment that you can add a sparkle mineral mica that you can add to it but i wanted it it didn't have actual color to it so i added just a little tiny bit of metallic white by artist loft just to give it a backing in there there we go and then i have this fabulous color it is called angel wings by colorado by their bling this is their newest set so if you can see in there i showed in the early in the preview of this video and the opening in this video i showed all these colors so that's one of them but it doesn't actually dry like that necessarily so this little blip here on the beginning on the front the top that is how it dries so that is angel wings oh my colors are moving a little bit and then i have just um light blue by artist loft and the last color i have is another uh pigment it is from the primary elements and the others called wild blueberry and this is the gorgeous color i wasted on this table but i luckily was able to save enough to make to make this piece so that is the wild blueberry all right so we're gonna go to our ice our fire side and the first one is just a mixture of bordeaux red and crimson so this is bordeaux red by arteza and crimson by um what is this called my art skate there we go and then i have and i love it so much i've told you before ah dropping little pieces in here from my table i have the pineapple crush again from primary elements i'm so excited so this is that primary pineapple crush it is such a beautiful color you guys absolutely beautiful so i'm gonna throw that in here and then i have a mixture of the artist loft neon yellow or neon orange but to deepen it a little bit i added a little bit of of the like but it's color it's an alcohol it's a latex what am i saying acrylic ink so i just added a few drops of acrylic ink to it just to deepen it so it wasn't so bright because the neon orange to me it has a little bit of a pink backing and i don't want to do that and then what is this color here this is just bright yellow and actually let me switch it up i'm going to do my orange first on this side and this is a mixture of the mango mamba by color art their primary elements but to it i added a couple of drops of the heartthrob just to deepen it up to come up with this gorgeous orange color here oh i think i'm gonna get a couple of sticks i can see that my colors are falling on this side so i'm just gonna get a couple of popsicle sticks and prop this side up here because i didn't want them to fall there we go all right clean my hands off so all right i'm gonna throw that down i don't even know if i did did i i don't know but i'm gonna put some more then because it's gorgeous whatever it's a beautiful color i don't care all right then i have bright yellow by artist loft that's just your typical yellow it's gorgeous and then i have some interference gold and some gold sparkle gold by color art and then lastly i have my favorites this is a mixture of heartthrob which is only a little bit about of this but it's mostly the fireworks by color art and it's so beautiful i feel like i just saw a chunk did i see a chunk or a bow let's see you are a bubble there we go so on top of this i'm gonna add a little bit of a white cell activator just because i do want to have a little bit of lacing coming through and i put i got these little sugar shakers like that and i just put my cell activator on that so i'm going to do the ice side first i'm going to put my cell activator on this side first so i'm going to put my white and then i have a blue a neon blue cell activator here too i'm definitely going to have to adjust this because my colors are moving and that's worrisome all right let me torch i'm all over the place i just got home from oregon i went down over the weekend with my family so i'm tired i've been driving tired so let's get this done [Music] uh ah my thing was caught that was annoying my thing my blow dryer was caught so i'm gonna use my mouth and just blow this a little bit here un muddy that part that i just muddied and i may just put some color right there i don't typically do that but i want some more brightness right where i've lost some so i'm just going to put a little bit more color here in the same order same ish order if i can remember it all no i'm out of order here but that's okay it's all good and then i have my white cell activator a bit and if i close the lid it pours slowly because it's not water it's not air tight but if you close the lid it does pour just a little slower so i'm gonna get up here and blow that with my mouth only there that's better all right so i'm gonna go to my eye side here pop a bubble and so for this my i'm gonna use my white my fire side i'm gonna use my white cell activator still through it and then my select vader on this time side is a mix of cadmium orange hue and that alcohol ink that i had used oh that acrylic ink i cannot speak today to save my life all right let's get this blown out [Applause] [Music] all right oh i love that side that turned out really really well i'm gonna have to stand on a couple of paint cans here to reach where i need to reach because i need to blow this out just a bit here there we go oh that black that i just blew into if you just tap it it'll go away that orange eyesh is blue blue so just bring it back with your finger cleaning your finger between each time and that will go away oh these colors are so pretty oh it's gorgeous oh definitely really really like this and i gotta make sure it stays well and even because oh i really really like it so oh you can't even see it darn it um let me move you back a little bit right here where there's two solid areas of color i'm just gonna blow a little bit of that i'm gonna put you back so you don't fall off the table here and i'll show you so i just made them mingle a bit more there put you back all right i really really like this i'm gonna actually turn off the camera and make sure this is level and then i'll get you down and show you the details i'll be right back oh my goodness guys i cannot tell you how gorgeous this looks in person the sparkle and the lacing and the colors are absolutely fantastic this turned out so much better than i expected and i'm thrilled oh my gosh look how gorgeous all of that is in there oh i absolutely love it i'm so glad i added color right there so it adds like a really delicate lacing in there but kind of icy still i absolutely absolutely love this i'm so glad i saw molly do this and it inspired me sometimes when you just can't find your inspiration yourself and you see somebody else's art it's okay to be inspired by it it's absolutely okay give credit where credit's due i never would say i did this but um i was definitely inspired by her but oh i actually made i made it my own and that i use different um products and oh i'm so happy with it i could not be more thrilled with how this came out and i just hope it dries exactly as it is i love it so much and i didn't get any green when i add yellow to black which thrills me because that is actually a problem sometimes but i'm thrilled with this i love the way right here looks where it's kind of like they're warring and trying to fight for position i don't know i absolutely love it and i love how the sides have turned out here i'm gonna sweep
