four bangers with v-tech [Applause] i mean they're all right flat sixes that rev to the moon and beyond ah nice try how about a good old american v8 well they're big but they ain't huge or how about italian v10s [Music] okay now we're talking but it's still not massive because today today we're talking about massive 12-cylinder engines and guess what you're not going to have to buy a supercar that costs some serious dough to get one of those engines no not at all and yes you may think that v12s are only in super duper expensive raries and lambos but what if i were able to tell you that today you could be driving around in a v12 for six thousand dollars yeah that's like 500 bucks per cylinder what an ideal deal and so i'm gonna show you six yes six of the greatest 12 cylinder cars that you can buy for cheap so go ahead smash the subscribe button if you're new because this isn't the last video that we're gonna make and we make them pretty much every single day so you ready we'll buckle up let's go i know a lot of you guys want supercar slaying performance and luxury that rivals the best of the best and you got a budget of about a used corolla well i have the answer for you and it's actually an amg mercedes-benz yes the s65 and back when the s65 amg was brand new it cost about eight or nine of those brand new corollas i'm talking an msrp of yeah get ready for it 169 thousand dollars and that's before you added any options this dagger from doucheland is powered by a six liter twin turbsky v12 you heard me right that is straight up bonkers and untuned it will run 0-60 in just 4.3 seconds and that stock trim has got a whole lot of power like 604 horses and 738 foot-pounds of torque to keep you in check and if you get your s65 tuned well you're on a whole nother planet hundreds of more horsepowers and just as much torque and so if you were to do the math carry the one add the three yeah that's a whole heck of a lot of horsepower more than i would know what to do with and yet the top speed is only 155 miles per hour but it's only 155 because it's electronically limited de-restrict that puppy and you're looking at 200 plus all day long and unlike newer models with the 7-speed transmissions some of the cheaper older models have the little five speed transmissions and even with just one two three four five gears 200 miles per hour is still in your wheelhouse and because it's an s-class you know it has a ton of luxury lined in leather and optioned with massaging seats heck you could just go through a tank of gas idling in your driveway and i think you'd be totally fine with that and yet they won't know what hit them when a ned flanders looking dude and unsuspecting s-class blows the absolute doors off of them and for less than 20 grand you can not only buy an s65 amg but also have it tuned to rival a hellcat for example using autotempest we found this beautiful black s65 with a few miles on it for just 16 grand and don't believe us one is your favorite because the s65 does have an issue i mean don't we all and that's that it's not super reliable and while the cost of entry on one of these things is not all that high make sure to set aside a boatload of cash for repairs because it's not if it's when things fail and funny enough that kind of sounds like the next vehicle on our list with a huge motor the bmw 850i which i've always really liked these things are pretty rad and pretty futuristic for what they are and i don't care if you're looking at the 850i or the 850ci you're looking at an iconic bmw with 12 whole cylinders and these vehicles were state of the art and led the charge with bmw back in the 90s and were basically just a blank canvas for bmw to show its latest and greatest i mean they really were just trying to flex the ideal 8 series v12 is the 850 csi but considering the fact that they're trading hands at six figures plus is definitely not in the cheap realm so if you want to do it on the cheap you got to get either an 850i or 850 ci and both of those believe it or not are powered by the exact same engine which is essentially two reliable bmw inline sixes sandwiched together to create a masterpiece of engineering and not only was the eight series offered with a standard how do i say this auto tragic my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined but they also made a manual baby let's go and go snag one of our favorite ideal teas seriously they're they're great and and if you don't like t-shirts then you can get a hat and rep the brand because you're part of the ideal fam and the thing that i love about the 8 series is that it's essentially a luxury limo like the 7 series but stuffed into a grand touring coupe and it was essentially made for the uber rich that just wanted something a little bit different from the neighbors you know always trying to keep up with the joneses and while the 8 series is not the fastest or the most luxurious on this list it's a good mix of the two and when it's loaded with features like a built-in car phone just in case you're like a secret agent and also those super stylish pop up and down headlights baby the 8 series to this day is still a timeless look and with a timeless design you'd expect a lot of money right well what if i told you that you could pick up a v12 850i with less than 90 000 miles on it for under 13 000 you'd think i'm lying but i'm not now it's not perfect because it is an auto so i'm sorry if i got you over excited but a similar spec manual will go for almost 20 grand and personally i think the manual might actually be worth the extra money and next up is another cheap massive v12 where the manual is going to cost a pretty penny more than the auto and this brand is actually associated with the real secret agent mr james bond himself and it is a cheap ass did i just say cheap and aston in the same sentence well yeah i i did but maybe this one should come with a little asterisk why because this isn't exactly one of the cheapest v12s but it is one of the cheapest supercars on the planet earth because we haven't gone to other planets and seen the supercars that are over in mars or pluto or you know venus and that asterisk well it is the most expensive car on this list but the db7 is a certified supercar that can stack up with the best of them and it's not one that you see every day either i mean i haven't seen one for like six months or maybe it was last year and it's powered by a 5.9 liter v12 with 420 horsepower so you bet that this thing scoots and all that power wrapped into class and style that makes you look like agent 07 himself people see you rolling around in a db7 and they're gonna assume that you got big numbers in the bank account and they'll probably also think that you're in possession of like dangerous government secrets but that being said the db7 isn't all that cheap at roughly 30 000 but let's not forget we're talking about an aston martin supercar this isn't just a civic or like eight or nine corollas and i can already hear some of you guys saying this thing is out of my price range which it's out of mind too but if you still want a 12 cylinder with as much luxury as an aston well ladies and gentlemen the next car might be the golden ticket for you we're talking about the audi a8l w12 and yes i know it's not your typical 12 cylinder oh no it's instead two v6s sandwiched together like you and your siblings in the back seat and unlike the 8 series with two inline sixes this audi has got two v6s and what do you get when you put two v's together well a w so it's basically a bugatti right nope because the bugatti had two twin turbo v8s molded together that sounds dangerous and expensive but like the bugatti the a8l with the w12 was very expensive when new at over 120 000 msrp and you got to be thanking the depreciation gods for this one and the aal will blast through the moon with luxury that rivals rolls royces except with that massive w12 you're not going to want to be chauffeured around in this thing instead you're going to want to be the one behind the wheel and rip up the roads like jason statham in a transporter movie and you or i well i'll i'll be your passenger can do this in a w12 a8l with less than 80 thousand miles for under 14 000 and i bet if you use the ideal car strategies and you learn how to buy a car like a pro you can get this big body audi for right around 10k but if you're not an audi fan and you're more of an any fan and you just got to have a big bimmer then the bmw 760 li is right for you see this big body bimmer is the top of the line spec for bmw and there's no doubt that the bmw 760 li is posh expensive and just loaded with tech and not only that but the long wheelbase 7 series just oozes class like literally class just rains all over you and plus it's powered by a 6 liter v12 which pumps out over 400 horse and 400 foot pounds of torque so it's quick but more than that it's smooth and believe it or not the 760 li gets pretty decent gas mileage well if you consider 23 miles per gallon on the highway decent which for this land yacht it's not bad at all and i hate to say it but this is kind of where the cool ends and the cheap begins disappointed because with all those fancy gizmos and technology that the 760li had you're gonna have to kiss reliability goodbye or if you're like me and the check engine light or other things come on you just kind of drive around the problems until the car doesn't run anymore and that might be your way of going about it because you can pick up one of these beasts with under 70 000 miles for just 13k and yet i know for some of us that might still be just a tad too much so let's drop that price all the way down oh to the floor and way down there is the jaguar xjs and yes this is definitely the oldest pick but the xjs might still give you something to smile about well why do you ask because not only does it have a massive v12 under the hood but it's a classic and it's just beautiful both inside and out except my mom tells me that it's what's on the inside that counts and the best part is you can buy one of these things today for just a fraction of what the other cars on this list are selling for but why well it's definitely not the most reliable or the most efficient or the most fastest or really the most of anything on this list i mean it's only pushing 295 horsepower which is kind of pathetic for a 12 cylinder and to put salt in the wound that horsepower figure is only in the uk because yeah those sneaky brits they took back 32 horsepower and only gave us here in the us 263 horses and since the xjs wears a jag badge you know it's not going to be reliable but for six grand who wouldn't take the risk and this option comes in with the least amount of miles on this list so i think i convinced myself how about you i think we should all go out and buy cheap v12s and which one should i get what'd
