all right we got our weight ticket here real quick look at this uh big volvo right here driving by look at that big house on that thing man wouldn't have to go home if you had one of them theresa come with me all right good afternoon i wanted to show you my little project i've been working on today so remember i told you that i got some chains bought some chains off a friend of mine so those are 3 8 chains they were 24 feet long and i decided to cut them down to 16 feet so i took eight feet off each chain but i wanted to show you hang on let me set you up all right hope you guys can see me i wanted to show you i wanted to shoot this is the j hook off of my dorsi trailer this video is sponsored by dorsey trailer there's a link down in the description so this is the j-hook and you've seen me talk about the j-hook before it hooks into the track of the trailer and then you take your chain and hook on your chain like so well the 5 8 would not slide in there so i had to get the um 3 8 so a friend of mine was selling the chain so i bought it and i just cut the lengths off and put the hooks back on and uh so now i have 12 chains so we've got six that are going to be 18 or 16 feet long and then i got six that or 20 feet long all right i wanted to show you so you can see the difference so it's a 5 16 chain right here and see how it doesn't it doesn't go in the hook so that was why i wanted to uh go with the three-eighths one other thing i want to do after i put all this chain away we'll go down to the bar and hang on all right we're over here at the barn open this door let some light in here so these are all my old flatbed tarps these tarps here the blue mercer tarps i used for years this is this is the eight foot drop tarp that got tore up eventually i'll sell it as a hay tarp that's a six foot drop tarp that somebody gave me and this tarp back here that's the tarp for my side kit but this is what i was after i got another bundle of padding down here i'm gonna throw that in the truck since i got a little extra room this isn't real heavy [Music] do [Music] do [Music] oh see we just hooked up i uh guys can see it see that metal bar right there i added that and if you look closely you can see the little camera up there i use a little magnet mount for that little camera here we'll go take a look at it so this is the camera i use for my trailer shots or loading and unloading i took i bought this metal bar yesterday and i put some of that undercoating cover on it but uh and then i just use this magnet to mount that camera all right we got our weight ticket here real quick look at this uh big bulba right here driving by look at that big house on that thing man i just wouldn't have to go home if you had one of them theresa come with me all right so basically with about three-quarters tank of fuel we weigh 32 420 pounds so we'll say 32-5 so what's that work out 47-5 that we could put on the truck so we can safely haul 47 easy but yeah i wanted to get a weight ticket because now i got the generator on there got the rooftop on there uh i swapped my chains around so i just wanted to get an idea where i was at and um before i used to have to struggle to get 47 on so this looks like we should be able to haul 47 relatively easy without concern um people ask me what the weight of the trailer is honestly i don't know i guess one day i could drop the trailer away the truck drop the trailer away the truck and get an idea but uh i know that uh it's about that's now you got to consider i've added boxes and everything else but like i said i used to struggle to get 47 on the other on the other trailer and that was running around with like a half a tank less than a half a tank of fuel so it looks like i could ride around with full tanks of fuel get 47 on with no problem so there's a big truck again here we go just riding around that's a big truck right there all right that's it let's go get loaded [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] all right we got loaded up and we're going back over here to the ta triple stop i want to wait a truck again now that we're heavy not that i'm worried about overweight but that i want to check my air scale and i should be done messing around with the weight um when you get a scale ticket at the catskill the re-weighs two dollars as long as you're at the same scale come back to the same scale within 24 hours so instead of paying the 12 again or is it 12 or 13 again all we got to do is pay for the reway but since i got everything situated on the truck and trailer and just about just about got everything situated how i like it hopefully how i like it i can get an idea of where my weight's at and when we get done here i'm gonna go home and probably leave out but most likely saturday morning to make my way over to uh dallas there my house is 850 miles to dallas and then we already got a reload out of dallas on monday going to st lucas so we should be starting next week pretty strong feeling pretty confident now when i get on the scale here they're going to ask for there's a little four digit number on here they're going to ask for that for my reway all right i got my weight ticket let me see if you guys can see it here just trying to show it to you it shows up there so the weight i'm concerned about is that 31.8 that's the drives and the 33 is the trailer so and i don't know if you guys can see it but we're sitting right at 32. give or take a little bit so that one looks good that's because that's 31.8 so that's almost 32 so that looks good we'll go out here take a look at the trailer real quick we're over here at the ta in eloy casa grande this is the little sisters truck wash and guys polishing tanks and stuff boy you guys give me a hard time about my tanks not being polished maybe one day i'll go get them polished but uh they don't look that bad somebody bought a brand new caterpillar dozer right there looks like they're putting brakes on the front up there all right let's get going let's see what we got here so it's sitting at almost 33 and our weight ticket says 33 so 32 so that's close enough you guys can see it right there so that works pretty good here you guys can see so anyway press this button and releases the pressure out of the box oh this is what we got black pipe i think they use it in like uh fire system sprinkler systems 40 we got about 43 5 on the trailer so nothing too spectacular got a couple belly straps on the first two rows and we got four straps across the top and i use my four inch ratchet straps on the front in the rear because i don't like putting winches over my tires so all right from right here i'm about 100 miles to the house so i'm gonna go home and figure out what i'm gonna do next
