[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right good morning we're in Richmond Hill Georgia we got here yesterday afternoon we left Louisville early yesterday morning about three o'clock we drove we're at the love circle of Sun right there I'm just checking the motor out everything's looking good this little thing's still leaking right around there but nothing major we've still got plenty of coolant we got here about about 2:30 yesterday and the little exhaust pipe on the generator finally gave up and I had to put a new exhaust pipe on that only took about 30 minutes it was super simple I've been carrying this piece of pipe with me for about a year in the truck so I got that fixed yesterday this is what we loaded on Friday we got auto lifts I think there's 20 27 auto lifts or 28 auto lifts there's a four front for six and six and six so what's that's 1218 so I think we got 24 24 28 anyway it doesn't matter auto lifts these are going to Puerto Rico they're going down here to Jacksonville and then they're gonna put them in a shipping container and sending them to Puerto Rico so we got lucky they're all the same thing which made it a lot easier to tarp sometimes the auto lifts they give you a bunch of different types and they can be a little tricky to to deal with but we've got luck you had to be at dig out the big tarps so these are my eight foot tarps when I say eight foot that's from eight foot from the top to the bottom but as you can see it my I have four foots and this is four feet right here there's one section right here so it wasn't gonna fit so I had to use my big tarps which is fine anyway all right other than that truck looks pretty good we're gonna try to get some truck tires before the end of the year so we're gonna do that all right look uh let's get going and we've got about an hour or about you've got about 100 miles down to Jacksonville and then I'll tell you what's coming up next [Music] all right I think I'm finally ready this it's been about half hours outside ah all right we are that's not working my truck GPS thing didn't cycle through so that's one all of that it'll come back all right let's go we're on our way down to Jacksonville Florida got about a hundred miles we spent the night here at the loves in Richmond Hill I pulled in here hey you guys on social media I posted a picture I pulled in here got parked they had two minutes left on my on my 11-hour Drive time I didn't think I was gonna make it I thought I'd go over a little bit and I go over a little bit you know you will give too much trouble try not to make a habit of it so anyway we got parked at two minutes left I got a lot of comments on I think was the last video or the video before about the the warehouse racking shelving that on shelving that we have hauled and unload I got a lot of comments that a lot of guys said why haul that night in half the tar pit and one guy said oh you got suckered because you had tar pit well I don't make the decision of whether the tar pit or not the only reason I tar pit is that they pay me if they don't pay me I don't it don't get tarped why I don't make the decision whether or not the tar pit or not tarping pay can vary usually in the neighborhood of between 50 to 150 dollars carving pay is not the same for every load it is one of those things that it does fluctuate now mainly or mostly they bigger the tarp job the the more money that it will pay so that's why you always hear me say when I get my eight foot tarps out those are my money makers because they usually pay more than a little four foot tarp job so but so I said I think a lot of comments like that I don't I've talked about this before I don't decide whether it gets pumped enough the only reason that it gets tarped or not is because somebody paid me to tarpon they pay me ain't armpit and I'll talk about anything it doesn't bother me as long as I'm getting paid I'll target so we're gonna get down here we've got about a hundred miles we're gonna get down here drop these off and it went running over to Pensacola Florida now Katy is looking for a little one we don't load Pensacola till Wednesday morning we have to be there right at 8 o'clock and it's another big tarp job but we gotta be there Wednesday and that is my load going home for Christmas so I should be home on either the third or the 24th that's gonna be my load going home I'm not too sure what we're picking up yet I think it's some kind of machine Machinery all right let's get going make her way down we're on i-95 we got about 95 miles to South Carolina and then we got to go through no Georgia Florida about 95 miles to Florida I was one staying off and in sometimes I just it I'm trying to think help what to talk about it sometimes everything doesn't lead to my brain anyway let's uh we got about a an hour and a half two hundred miles got in Florida I'll see you when we get there take the next left on to do a foul road hi I think we're close that's where we gotta go and then make it easy with the road construction right here we got look this little under a mile I'm gonna have to put the nose of the truck right up by that sign cuz I'm looking to see it but there's the curve right there - left on Duvall Road then turn right Tula Duvall road turn right here we go - left on Duvall Road then turn right [Music] not to let on then turn right and a quarter and 1/4 mile turn right on my road then turn left I got oh look at this crazy thing right here play trying to put it in a roundabout see they put these roundabouts in and it's like an afterthought for trucks to go around here it's like pop stores here oh man I don't like this sooner trucks to airport road valo alternate route and row vector left I guess we got a turn here take the next right onto ranch road then turn left onto trade port drive truck Tito so I don't know how to get at it I wonder if I got to go further down to get out of here their construction I don't know take two left on trade port drive the next left the to the Google Maps and the truck GPS are trying to talk to each other and they're not working in 1,000 feet turn left onto Vantage way 900 feet to lift on that you can hear the two sometimes I use both because just in case I used the truck GPS to make sure that I don't end up on a road that is not trunk friendly or a truck route because Google Maps doesn't know I'm in a truck flying at wrong person take the next left on to left on advantage way Vantage way so that's why the tool of return the target on time oh all right in 1/4 mile arrive at 13,000 291 Dan to Jay team vows heart according to Google according Whoville maps the entrance should be right down here just a little bit I just got back in it doesn't look like fun back in that doesn't look like fun so when we get this unloaded I I did stop at the petrol up and I think it's st. Mary's Georgia we're gonna stop and get some tires put on we as your destination is on the left are tax-exempt in Georgia so save a little bit of money in 500 feet arrive at 13200 M oh all right this should be the entrance right you you guys couldn't see a lot of driving around I usually try to minimize policy what 102 1:08 [Music] see they got all kinds of room in here Oh being sarcastic [Music] that's what we need is over there excellent all right Lipa right here hopefully I'm not too much and we go find out what's going on [Music] [Music] all right we got unloaded they didn't take too long it took longer to hold the tarps up than it did to to get unloaded now I went ahead and I bought me some new tires I know I talked about it this morning and I stopped here we're at you know that says ta but we're at the petrol and Kings Kingsland our st. st. Mary Georgia on i-95 I made a phone call this morning I found out that Georgia former stirred we don't have to pay sales tax so I bought these tires now these are the road masters which is the same brand I use on the trailer I had a set of road masters on the old Peterbilt and got about three hundred thousand miles out of set of drives these were three hundred and eighteen dollars apiece through Mercer's national account and that includes the FE T tax federal excise tax so so what to bet now that doesn't include the mounting and everything and then I went ahead and I bought balancers I had put a picture up on social media and somebody asked a question about balancing them the old Peterbilt I had balancers on there and they worked out really good so I went ahead and bought a set of balancers for this truck here now these balancers are then eight sheep there are hundred dollars apiece so that's $400 worth of balancers on there but they will last a lifetime the the ones I have on the old therefore 24 fivesies 422 5 and they've been on the old truck for years so they last for a really long time so anyway that's what we got that's what we got new rubber new rubber um real quick the well here let me go inside where it's quiet and I'll tell you the difference between the national account price and the cash price because I did ask him what the cash price was so so let's get up in the truck I'm gonna hook the trailer back up and then we'll get going all right we got the trailer hooked up I wanted to go over these numbers real quick so people have an idea of what tires cost for a truck now I went with the Roadmaster which is not a premium tire it says it is developed by Cooper so and I've had a lot of success with them I had Roadmaster drive tires on the old Peterbilt and I got over 300 thousand miles out of them so I'm expecting about the same with these I did put the balance the center Matic balancers because I had cinematic balancers on the old Peterbilt the old Peterbilt had twenty four five and what I mean by that that is the rim size this truck has 22 5s so the old balancers would not fit on this truck here so I have balancers on the steer I have balancers on the drives and I have balancers on the trailer also it seems to help a little bit so what I did this morning before I went and delivered I swung in here real quick and I got a cash estimate of what it would cost for the tires because I wanted to find out what the how much money I would actually be saving so the cash estimate out the door without Mercer's discount and everything without the balancers now the balancers worth about $400 the would been three thousand four hundred eighty seven dollars if I would have paid cash for him now with the Mercer's with Mercer's discount without the balancers with turned out to be right at three thousand dollars the way it worked with Mercer is I got the tires at the national account price which was $318 a tire and they and then I paid on a different end voice I paid for the mounting and the balancing now on top of all that I got trading credits so the actual price went down so actually Mike reiten credit paid for the balancers so out of the eight tires that I had on here that I did I trade in four of them they gave me a $60 credit for and I asked the guy so what you're gonna do with those because they still had rubber left on him I mean they were loped he said we're gonna turn around so I was looking at the tire rack the cheapest new tire our cheapest used higher they have is two hundred nine dollars so they're gonna turn around at sellers so anyway they gave me $60 for four of them and then for the other four because the other four on the tractor the the all four don't wear out the same time that so the rear axle the four tires on the rear axle they gave me $45 a piece because the tread was a little bit smaller and that one tire do you remember about a month ago I blew a tire and I put a used tire on there I paid $100 for that used tire and they gave me $45 credit for that used tire on there so so anyway all in all it worked out pretty good Mercer's discount is pretty good so that's one of the advantages about Mercer is the they will help you but also they have a program for service to them a pack Card discount a dealers but I don't know how that works I've never had to use it so anyway all right today is Monday and we are in Kingsland Georgia I keep trying to figure out where we're at we're in Kingsland Georgia at the TA slash Petro slash Petro /ta I'll probably go take this tonight and do a load of laundry before I go home so I'll have some clean clothes we're leaving tomorrow we're gonna deadhead we couldn't course we didn't get a load today we're going to dead head over to Pensacola pick up our load that is going to take us home for Christmas so we'll do that on Wednesdays post be a big tarp job eight-foot tarps so we'll see how that goes but anyway all right that's it that's enough of me talking and I'll talk to you later you
