(475) From CIRCLES to FLOWER ~ EASY pour for BEGINNERS ~ Reverse flower dip ~ Step by step tutorial

hello from slovenia again i will do a flower from circles today for those who already know me you know that i love to do flowers with all kind of simple techniques you don't need to uh you don't have to know or have a talent to draw a flower but you can still do a nice flower with some of these techniques so i will pour my background first this will be kind of beginner tutorial step by step so i will try to show all the parts maybe i should bring you a little further for this part um all my paints are mixed with pouring medium you will find all these informations that you need about mixtures i have a lot of mixture videos too with different pouring mediums so you can find the one that you can buy products because you know we in europe have different products than in states or australia or canada or other parts of the world so uh but i i used floetrol glue so i think that anyone can find video that it will help him with him or her with the products that are available in your country so i'm just spreading my paint around to get even nice coat and i try to save as much paint as i can because you know this um pouring it's quite expensive stuff so it's nice to save as much paint as you can and i will just put my converse on this pin table and in the meantime i will just grab this paint and put it back into my cup i have just a plastic bag here on the table you can use you have a lot of things that you can use but sorry for the noise but that's how the real life in slovenia is uh my neighbors renovating something so they make a noise but that that's how it is real life isn't it it is a lot of noise okay so i put my canvas on spin table you don't need to but i like to because sometimes i like to spin my flower a little bit to spread paint more if i think that i need to but this is always you decide those things while you're doing your pour because it's not necessary to go everything like you planned normally it doesn't so i will mark my center i'm using just this little eight by eight converse today because this is um like i said kind of beginner tutorial and i don't want to do it on a bigger one but for the flowers for all those techniques the biggest converse that i succeed was 12 by 12 so you can do more than one on bigger canvas but for one you don't use a large canvas so i will use my pearl white mixture for some lacing effect uh and i have a lisarian violet and cerulean blue and naples yellow dp uh you can use extreme sheen paints too for lacing effect but if you want to get this lacing effect with the flowers you have to use between other paints some extreme sheen or vallejo vallejo pearl medium mixed with white because otherwise you will not get the same result so i just put this cute little cup here in the middle just to help me make kind of a circle because i will do circles today and now i can remove it and next will be and i don't do circles you see i already didn't i don't know and naples yellow and then pearl white again and cesarean violet and pearl white again so you practically just draw some circles and obviously i'm not good at circles i will just add a little more of this alisarian so here and cerulean blue i will put all the colors and everything into the description box so you can check there and because i will use i will start doing circles here now because i think that i need to i will do just one more it's hard to do circles isn't it or just for me i don't know but i have quite a problems to do a nice circle purl white again and viserion violet again and purple white again and cerulean blue and way back when i did these flowers with circles i just put my napkin on and do a flower but i will try to do something different today i will just grab this paint and try to create some kind of petals i know that maybe this looks weird but i want to try and let's bring this ones towards the middle and why i left this black here in the middle because i think that i will pull quite some paint with my napkin so i don't want to have so much paint in the middle and i spray my paper napkin with water only and not too much not that it's wet wet just dump it i showed this in some of my live videos so you can maybe check those that you will see let me see see i will just spray some water on my napkin just that it will be softer okay and then i put it down first half and second half i have really detailed tutorial about how to layer your down your napkin and everything you know it's not you can't do you can't tell every little detail in every video that you do that it's the same as always so please check some of my live stream videos from every sunday i normally do this um totally detailed thing in my live videos so if you want to if you think that you have to know a little more so the moment of truth and those colors that i chose um you know we have our uh combinations that maybe we like more than others so i really like this color combination so i chose it again okay these four corners and try to have your middle part of your napkin in the middle and lift and i didn't do quite a good job with lifting but you can correct this with your finger so i will just spin it a little bit just to spread this paint a little more maybe so weird today i lost my yellow sometimes yellow tends to take over but depends on the technique that you do so you see in this technique paints are kind of you see them in the bottom of this pearl white but i will torch this a little bit and then i will check for man parts here in the middle again because sometimes these mem parts are really trying to to be dominant i kind of like this um part but it doesn't fit to the whole pattern here in the middle so i will just try to grab some paint and fix this if i can sometimes you will i don't know not ruin it but maybe you will make it even worse like i did this time maybe i don't know but no it's kind of cute flowers so you see i get this um flower effect just from circles you don't need to i thought that um my focus is off so let me take you for a close-up so here is our close-up and i forgot to do this so you see kind of rembrandt looking or van gogh looking flower of colors but i really like this um pearl white that creates this petal look that you can get without the pearl white or as i said you can use some extreme sheen paints too from the card for this effect but you can see if you have those materials you can do a nice little flower just with drawing some circles so don't be afraid to try if you like flowers and you don't know how to draw a flower maybe you can try this technique so if TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with circles

​

PROCESS:

- Pour your base on canvas

- Make cirles with your colours

- Draw some petal patern

- Put down damped paper napkin or towel

- Lift the napkin

- Torch

- And here is your flower

MATERIAL:

- 8x8 inch canvas

- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium

- Paper napkin or towel

- Wooden skewer

- Palete knife

- Torch

COLOURS:

- Boesner black

- Arties colours alizarian violet

- Arties colours naples yellow deep hue

- Arties colours cerulean blue hue

- Pearl white

​

My pearl white mixture:

1 part Vallejo pearl medium

1 part titanium white

2 parts pouring medium

All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.
