and the Lord spoken to moshe and mount sinai saying speak unto the children of israel saying to them when you come into the land which i give you then shall the land keep of sabbath unto the lord six years you shall sow your field and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in the fruit thereof but in the seventh year shall be a Shabbat rest unto the land a Sabbath for the Lord thou shalt neither so they feel nor prune a vineyard so have you noticed in here that this says what gets the Sabbath the land does the land is what gets the Sabbath now we get a Sabbath also but it's it's the Sabbath for the land and it's established unto the Lord the land is a Sabbath to him so he's the one that provides everything that we have he's our provision so he says later in here we're going to see where he says in that sixth year I'm going to give you a double blessing or actually a triple blessing and but then we're all going to take a rest the land's going to take a rest okay so it's it's his taking arrest but it's also the lamb so when we when Israel didn't let the land take arrest they weren't offending the land they were in a sense but who were they really offending was yah they're saying no you're not going to take a rest you have to work through the seventh year and keep providing for us that which grows of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not read neither gather the grapes of thine undress of thy vine undressed where it is a year of rest unto the land now notice what the word undressed here it's the word not seer which is everybody knows where the Nazarene is right Yeshua was called a Nazarene that's the root of Nazarene is not Siri so it was set apart and this is the first usage of it here Genesis 49 26 the blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills they shall be on the head of Yosef and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren Joseph was had a blessing he was separated from his brethren he did not seer that means he would just separate it the basics of most of the Hebrew words in Greek words to have a root form that gives us the basic understanding of it so this was separated out just like the land is to be separated out and the grapes and the vine they are undressed they are separated now this goes into how many of you guys are into agriculture plants and stuff so you know that if we trim a plant that causes it to grow right and produce fruit it has to work harder right that's where you get the richness of the fruit because you trim the apples the saplings back because they suck the energy out you turn them back and it forces it to go to the hey that's work the plant has to work its healing itself he says separated give it a break let it rest separate that 2025 6 and the Sabbath of the land shall be meat for you meat is just simply food just food that's so if we think of meat it's just food she'll be meat for you for thee and for thy servant and for thy maid and for the hired servant and for thy stranger that sojourneth thee and for the cattle and for the beasts that are in thy land shall all the increase there of beef food so in looking at this and again anybody has comments you want to add something or anything please feel free raise your hand I love the open format of things I prefer that rather than okay you know everything you're just going to stand up and no I don't know everything trust me far from it yes just Israel because there's a lot of places where it's those coming to answering to land so does that apply here also have there it's a great question what's your name Barbara so thank you Barbara so this specifically is dealing with the land of Israel okay but guess what the principles can apply to us it's not that we're mandated because this is the land but if we follow the principles then God is going to provide and I believe he's going to provide an additional blessing but it's not a commandment to us so it makes sense okay anybody else oh great question yes divinely vinaigrette kind of a concept that they use when they cut in here that's that's another another part of that - yeah that's a great point yeah and this is also has a tendency to mean the harvest so when you when we're reading some of these other verses and it says you know do neither gather the grapes of the vine that's gathering into a like a barn remember the man that you uh said you know hey I got an abundance here I'm going to gather I'm going to tear down these and build new barns and stuff that's the sense that we're going to gather all this and store it is stored up it's also similar to what Israel did and how many of you remember when they were in the wilderness I'm sure y'all do and Friday came along and he said go out and gather double portion on Friday and then so you're gonna have so much ABAT and then they went on Shabbat and what do they do hey we got to go out and gather some more because we might run out instead of trusting God and that's what he's saying you got to trust me there's some faith involved here and walking this out and all of us have had some experience with faith Lydia oh we're going to get into that we're gonna get into that all right have you been reading my notes okay no we're actually going to get to that so I'm going to put that one on hold for now okay okay the year of Jubilee and Leviticus 25 8 and now so remember seven Sabbath's of years unto the seven times seven years in a space of seven Sabbath's of years shall be unto the forty and nine years then shalt thou caused the trumpet of the Jubilee and I thought it corrected all those sorry This Old English with one e so bad now shalt cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land and that is teruah that is nine short blasts that jubilee there is the different word then this Jubilee the Yeovil you can see on the bottom left in the yellow I made that one green and this one yellow so this trumpet here is the oval but this Jubilee is the trumpet it's kind of like wait a minute they're mixing things here that's just the translators okay but this right here that first you believe dust out cause the trumpet of the Jubilee that's a true ah that's what that Hebrew word is that's nine short blasts thought thought thought thought that that's probably not nine but you get the point yeah nine short blasts and there is a series of four when we do the the four we talked about them a few weeks ago you've got techie techie add the gold a dull teruah and I forget what the other one is and I'm not doing them in order because techie I get dull it's a long one that's the one where you blow it as long as you possibly can and we talked I mentioned that Isaac was teaching that that's actually the sound that's made when it's all clear for those that do explosions that dynamite and stuff that's the all clear sound that's the last one it's like okay we're done everything's wrapped up here so hey this word here there shall not in hand we're back in x2 this 1913 hand touch it but it shall surely be stone or shot through whether it be beast or man it shall not live when the trumpet sound as long and they shall come up to the mountain this is at Mount Sinai remember the warning that God gave them you shall not go up to touch the mountain you shall wait and you will in this you're not I'm sorry I'll go back here shot through whether it be beast or man it shall not live when the trumpet sounds long they shall come up to the mountain there shall come up do don't touch it he's making a call to them they this is the this is the trumpet of the yobel that's the first usage of it right there so we think of the oval as the Jubilee year okay but this is actually it's the calling of God so we look at the Jubilee year that's him calling us now notice up here when that happens 25 9 the day of atonement the tenth day of the seventh month and that is the day that is a day of affliction is it not the day when we don't when we fast we don't eat we don't drink we have a fast for the whole day so it's it's a day of affliction but yet this is a fiftieth day when everything is set free or fiftieth year when everything is set free it's almost seems like a contradiction we can have that we flipped our selves to remember our shortcomings but yet in the fiftieth year this is a year of deliverance this is a celebration we sound the trumpets and we celebrate it because everything has been returned you shall hallow the fiftieth year verse 10 and proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof it shall be a jubilee unto you and you shall return every man unto his possession and you should turn every man unto his family everything that was lost everything that was given away everything that was sold comes back now how many of you have heard the discussion going on recently about are we in the Jubilee year have you guys been discussing that at all okay and so I mean it's we don't know for sure but if we look at it and say let's see 1917 that's when the Balfour agreement came out declaring Israel as a nation 1967 they got their Temple Mount back in a six-day war whoever heard of a six-day war and then this year 2017 they're declaring that this is the Jubilee year and a lot of people are believing that this is when we get back that which was stolen from us that was which was lost and I don't know I'm not going to say it is but I'm not going to say it isn't you know some of this stuff we just have to wait and see what God has in store what happens Israel lost track of it very shortly after they went into the land because they did not hold two things 25:11 and the Jubilee shows of that fiftieth year be unto you you shall not so neither reap that which grows of itself in it nor gather the grapes in it of the vine undress where it is the Jubilee it shall be holy unto you you shall eat the increase there of out of the field that's the previous years you've got that but you can also go out and eat in the field you can also go out and pluck an apple off and eat it you could take remember when Yeshua stood sciples were wandering through and they grabbed a handful of wheat and they were they did this to it and they popped it in every anybody ever done that you've done it you know what that all that that gluten in there is really what it is it turns it into like chewing gum it's just like a snack they can do that Yeshua also when he went up to the date tree and he said you know there's nothing here and it's early well even the date tree and the very very early stages has this little tiny buds on it and you pick it off it's like eating candy so it's like it's just like a little snack and he went up and he says you don't even have any buds on you you're never going to produce any fruit gone dead 13 in the year of this Jubilee you shall return every man unto his possession and it shows and if you sell aught unto thy neighbor or by lot of thy neighbor's land hand you shall not oppress one another this is the missiles what we're going to get to to your point Lydia is I'm going to show you some scriptures about why Israel went into captivity and it really becomes pretty clear and we start looking at this but if you look at this it says you're not to oppress one another later on we're going to see a couple of scriptures that talk about when you calculate the year of Jubilee and somebody sells you something like land specifically so the land was money the land produced a crop and so it if uriah you were destitute you know you're you're you know you have nothing left and the only thing you have is your land and you go up to mark and see mark I know you're really wealthy mark can you buy my land we've got ten more years left of the Jubilee then you'll figure out okay how much money am I going to make off that land if you were to say you know what I'm only going to make a small amount off of that uriah and I'm only willing to give you this much for it that's right there is a pressing one another because you're not giving him an honest deal and Mark shame on you for doing that I'm just kidding obviously but that's where you know it's don't oppress one another don't take advantage of one another treat each other with respect realize that your brother here is on his last leg he doesn't have anything and you might say well you know what he squandered away he didn't know how to plant the crops he didn't how to take care of him he slept in he didn't come out and you know well so what he's gonna learn so I'm not picking on mark I'm just saying these are the principles that we need to care about one another there's consequences you're suffering consequences right yes this is yes Uriah this is no all right you're broke yeah you've been broken according to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbor and according then to the number of years of the fruit he shall sell unto thee this is just what I was talking about okay so you just calculate it and you guys come to an agreement what's workable what works is that work for you yeah that works for you great no I was making the time aha impressive the Old Testament is his laws aren't they that just proves that they were not to take advantage absolutely the Torah that in what is the Torah it's or is instruction Genesis to Revelation is Torah that's my way of looking at it okay we can say the first five books that's the foundation okay but what the rest of it does expands on it sometimes explains it more thoroughly gives us examples Yeshua came and he was like no you know you heard it had been said but I tell you okay he just clarified it's all the Torah it's all his instructions a16 so according to the multitude of years thou shall increase the price there Evan according to the fewness of years thou shall diminish the price of it for according to the number of the years of the fruits does he sell unto you you shall not there for a press one another but thou shalt fear thy God before I am the Lord your God wherefore you shall do my statutes and keep my judgments and do them and you shall dwell in the land in safety so I put that word safety and yellow for a reason just to make you question that's all no to dwell in the land and safety and this is I want you to remember this because this is going to come up in a couple verses here so this section here 16 17 and 18 as we talked about you shall not therefore oppress one another again he repeats it don't take advantage of one another come to an equitable agreement this is business but it's also my brother it's also my sister it's also their family maybe they just lost everything I had a friend I have a friend not had I have a friend who lives up in northern up by us and he was a surveyor he lived in the Portland area they spent 20 years building a home big family 9 to 10 kids and in 2008 when the crash came he lost everything that all the small surveyors my brother was a surveyor all the small surveyors went out of business pretty much all of them because they could not get there was no money there was no jobs and they went out of business not only did he lose his job but his boss never paid his income taxes his portion of it so the government came after him and then they took away his house and this family of 10 people they're destitute now they're in another place but it was totally [Music] unequivocal no it's just stuff that happened but we are not to treat each other like that if we know if somebody that's in in a hard place we need to reach out to them in the best way we can we'll pray for someone else to reach out and to minister to them to bless them yes Barbara I'm going to say name so I can remember them over this period as a relevance becomes diminished it's we edited it given Pakistan the borders of Israel were safe because no one was vulnerable in certain areas you know like this area became poor and all these people who Cambridge you know in certain areas everybody was restored right and so in a sense that that series leveled the playing field yes absolutely about like you know group of families that were rich and of course everybody became level again that was their welcome so can can anybody this is a great point can anybody think of anything else to do with money that made everybody equitable in Israel you're the well that's that's what we're talking about there's something else they all brought that there's a eight days when each hand was to bring the certain amount you may remember what it is how much it was half shekel they bring a half shekel because every person was worth the same amount God said you'll all bring a half shekel nobody brings more nobody means less everybody brings a half shekel now you can also relate that to the sacrifices if you're too poor and you can't bring a lamb God says I will honor you bring a dub bring something whatever you can bring because you're all my children that's his heart okay we got going here we just lost the signal and that's probably the screen run asleep we need to plug in that's what we're going on here my apologies I thought my battery would go further oh it's down here yeah in that word secure in there I like your says yours it says securely safety that's it's going to show up here I'm going to show you a couple things here that safety there's an interesting thing that I saw and I've read this thing many times and I've never there we up to there we go excellent thank you for your patience okay so let's go on and we'll see that part there and the land shall yield her fruit and you should eat your fill and dwell there and in safety and you shall say what shall we eat the seventh year behold we shall not sow nor gather in our increase and I will command my blessing upon the you and the sixth year and it shall bring forth fruit for three years and you shall sow the eighth here and eat yet of the old fruit until the ninth year after her until her fruits come in you shall eat of the old store so God's provision again now remember the word safety or security okay just remember that word because this is this is what we want we want safety and security how many of us as husband's gay fathers husbands and some of us are not some of you are not yet but we want to make sure we provide for it you want to make sure you provide for your family right now you're engaged right okay and and I would assume that part of your engagement to him as he's a righteous man and he is somebody that you can look to to be a provider to take care of you right and I'm sorry what is your name Arden Tammy so you have a husband I think right okay and your husband is the same right okay now how many men here say you know what I don't want to do that you know just do you take care of yourself mark you just tell Lydia sometimes you know what lady you're on your own just you know take care of yourself Wow deceased is she saying sometimes she feels like that sorry I didn't mean that so that's our responsibility and that's security how many people do you know how many couples do you know where the husband is not there for the family and how much security does that provide for the wife and for the children none pardon yeah it's it's a hard thing now when we have single women to those that are single aren't we commanded to take care of them widows and orphans we're committed God says care for each other okay so in this part here we don't have to worry about it God says I'm going to take care of you he's going to take care of us don't go out on the Sabbath and get Nana or as it says what is it don't go I can get what is it I will take care of you do you trust me or do we not and the people didn't they repeated the same sin of collecting the manna in that they didn't let the ground lay fallow rest they said we got to go do something he says whatever comes up out of the ground you can eat just don't break it in and store it because it might not have enough for tomorrow redemption of property so the safety thing I haven't touched on it yet had I remember that just remember it and the land shall not be sold forever for the land is mine for you are strangers and sojourners with me and in all the land of your possession you should grant a redemption for the land in other words the land can be bought back if thy brother be waxed and poor and has sold away some of his possession and if any of us can come to redeem it then shall he redeemed that which his brother sold I come alongside of my brother who's destitute who has sold his land to a foreigner somebody who's not part of the family and if I can redeem it if I can buy that land back for him I if I can afford it that's my duty it's my duty to do that ok and if the man have done to have none to redeem it and himself be able to redeem it I'm sorry let me go back to 25 if they brother be waxing poor and have sold away some of his possession and if any of his kin come to redeem it then shall he redeemed that which is which his brother sold and if the man have none to redeem it and himself be able to redeem it then let him count the years of the sale therefore and restore the overplus under the man to whom he sold it that he may return unto his possession in other words make it equitable again so it makes sense it's kind of King James kind of wordy stuff there ok but it basically it's like if you can afford it do it and then make an equitable deal to buy it back but if you cannot if he but if he'd be not able to restore it to him then that which his soul shall remain in the lane in the of him that hath bought it until the year of Jubilee and in the Jubilee should go out and you shall return unto his possession it's automatically going to come back to him if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city then he know this is the part that's interesting if he should sell a house in a walled city then he may redeem it within a whole year and after the sold within a full year may he redeem it and if he not redeemed within the space of a full year then the house that is in the walled city shall be established forever to him that bought it throughout his generations it shall not go out in the Jubilee so if you have a house within a city wall and you sell it and you don't get it back in a year it's gone until you can afford to buy it maybe sometime in the future but the person doesn't have to sell it look at Hosea 8:14 for Israel has forgotten his maker and builded temples and Judah has multiplied fenced cities but I will send fire upon his cities and they shall devour the palaces thereof the thing that I thought of was this I've always had this question about this walled city and again I don't say that I got the whole answer but I saw this verse and I was thinking you know what were walled cities about protecting the contents within so what is Judah doing here they have increased multiplied fence cities because why could it be that God is not providing for them or they don't think God is going to provide for them back to the 7th year of letting the land lay fallow God's not going to provide for me so I need to build a wall around my city because I'm not going to be protected just a thought unfaithfulness - believing that God is going to trust me says if you're not gonna trust me then fine I'll give you a year to get your house back if you don't get it back you're gone it's done you didn't trust me in the first place so Steve versus in serious exactly exactly exactly yes okay we go back to when you said if they filter their land into a corner well then and then it goes better standing on the Jubilee they get it all back well the coroner is really gonna want to give it up if he doesn't go by and I think I misspoke on that one actually I didn't read it because I think it's later it talks about the coroner but yeah it's it's supposed to go back though then that's where somebody in Israel needs to redeem it for them okay yes ma'am ye right it's supposed to stay within that tribe right Galatians says what yes right no they're not supposed to but if they had to if but if it stays within the family of Israel all the tribes okay so if Ephraim this is what Barbara was talking about earlier if every what Yehuda had and somebody from Benjamin buys what the Simeon has and after the fiftieth year it all goes back to the original tribes no they don't but that's where Israel was supposed to buy back that land to step up so if it was if it was yahudah or any of the other tribes that sold a piece of land to a foreigner then all of Israel and somebody else should step up and say no that's not I need to buy that land back and this is where you where Israel started splitting because they all started thinking about themselves rather than a community and so they should buy that so if it was you who did that lost your property to a foreigner then if one of the other tribes should step up and at least buy it because they know that under Jubilee or it's going to go back to that family yes yes they Nabal Yeah right and anyone who killed him anyway took the land yeah yeah so that in that example there where the king was it was it ASA he goes ASA the well was Jezebel they have not a say have a had that in Jezebel Jezebel's one actually did it she was a really nice lady and she went out there and he would not sell it because he wanted to obey the Torah and by the instructions of God no I'm not going to sell my land I don't need to I'm not in a place where I need to sell it well great we'll just do away with you then but the houses of the villages which have no wall around them they shall be counted as the fields of the country they may be redeemed and they shall go out in the Jubilee you see the difference between these two now walled city don't build don't protect yourself I will protect you but those of you that trusted in me and kept it in the open field it goes back to you just a thought okay and all of you probably know that in Hebrew there's more than one way to look at things and just because we have something that looks one way it can actually have an opposite meaning sometimes and they don't contradict each other you guys heard that okay it's it's an interesting dichotomy I mean for us in the West it's like how does that work I don't get it yes sir well I was found a Canadian and I came to United States professional I didn't know that okay well anybody else cops are doing it in Germany and I said it journey in the history in Germany it was the Jews had control over the faith completed and clothes were made and and on three other occasions the government of of Germany trying to overcome the Jewish control right by creating their own currencies that also a failure there by our home the first Bitcoin while like some important the whole thing is is it ice when there's our allies in the drifting center for our sky love meeting meeting them sure but they don't provide in T advantage of tell you they're called the generals okay right I was a head up and I you saw him to come back and until wait and I'm investing your money it where's the logic is evolving why lucky devil is it possible just possible with based on not following rhetoric that that the Second World War was they don't persecute because they involve as well well it's possible but I would caution against it going that direction because then we start going down this road of other things well they were punished because of this so remember the story of Yeshua healing the the man and he was born with this I don't remember was a bad leg part and blind and and the disciples said well who sinned his parents or down the road or something in Yeshua said no it's just this is this was done for the glory of God basically that God could be glorified so you know that while it's possible I would be cautious to go down that road because maybe the things that how many Jews came to the United States from Russia and from the Holocaust in Germany hundreds of thousands maybe even millions I don't know what the count is but maybe that was God's way of driving them out because they know what we're really comfortable right here things are really good God's like no Barbara well one of my officers leash things like with when Israel or he not he just it was a big deal I mean there was a lot of plagues a lot I mean I'm not sure or not a lot of devastation happen so it when Israel was created because of was a lot a lot of identification happened but it was a personal contra and the rotation again right and so it seems to me like that they correlate together emanation it's possible done some levels yeah they're not exactly married there are some some parallels there that we could say yes pammi right we're going to get to that I don't well that's an interesting concept if we're the Levites put in those cities because nobody else wanted to go there I I don't know but there is an interesting point I'm going to bring up about the Levites here so okay so I just looked at this and I saw Hosea and I looked at this person this person this just seemed to fit it's like you know you're not trusting in God because that's kind of the theme here of this whole thing when we start looking at it Leviticus 25 32 notwithstanding the cities of the Levites and the houses of the cities of their possession may the Levites redeem at any time it can never go away from them okay and if a man purchase of the Levites then the house that was sold in the city of his possession shall go out in the year of Jubilee for the houses of the cities of the Levites are there possession among the children of Israel but the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold for it is their perpetual possession now Israel are I mean Levi Levy never had a land they didn't have anything like yahuda Simeon Ephraim Monash a I'll never had anything so what was levy their job was the priest the the priests system for the whole country now here's an interesting thing I'm posing this as a question not as an absolute fact but what suppose this is a question Levy and Simeon did one of the most despicable acts in the history of Israel does anybody remember what it was of Shechem exactly they went in when they were at their weakest point three days and they slaughtered all of the men and they pulled out some of the women that were whatever but they slaughtered all of them so now you're taking these people levy his descendants and we're going to say you're going to be our priests here and you're going to sacrifice for our sins does that make any sense they begin with those by stepping up and there was another incident but we'll kind of set that one aside because here's what I want to propose to you and it kind of goes along with what you're saying but very loosely okay so don't this is just my thought what if and this is how I believe God talks to me sometimes it just gives me thoughts and I kind of he puts pieces together so what if God said you know what levy that act was so despicable because Simeon you know where Simeon went Simeon went in the south you know what's in the south of Israel desert pretty much a desert anybody been there it's desert right it's like really desert okay so Simeon goes to the desert what's levy again guess what levy you have to sacrifice in the morning and evening and you're going to be in blood for the rest of your life you have to pay for the sins of what you did for the rest of your in your ancestors for the rest of your life you'll be atoning for the sins of Israel by sacrificing the animals in the temple the morning sacrifice the evening sacrifice all of the peace offerings all of the other sacrifices if you read any accounts of Josephus they had pipes with blood running constantly out of there into the Jezreel Valley they would have been covered with blood most of the time changing their garments killing animals washing their hands just a lot we're going to be we're going to provide the sacrifices for Israel we're going to pay for your sins I'm gonna kill this animal a righteous thing or was it God said yeah this is necessary we need somebody to do it guess who's going to do it you like blood you like slaughtering people here you go living just a thought okay I wouldn't cause me to think about it was as I study and read I'm like God why did you can't let me to be the priesthood and yet back in Jacob they committed one of the most heinous crimes that you could have committed now obviously the men the the son of the king of Shechem committed a heinous act but did that mean the whole city had to be slaughtered and what it was Jacobs response to that you've made me stink in the people's nostrils you've done a despicable thing anyway just a thought okay kindness for poor brothers and if thy brother be waxed and poor and fall in decay with thee then thou shalt relieve him yeah that should be a stranger though he'd be a stranger or a soldier that he may live with thee taking down no you three of him this goes back to your friends about you know you three they're not supposed to take you Zuri or give you money and you're going to pay me interest Nick I'm gonna loan you $50 and next week when you give it back to me it needs to be fifty five got it they're not supposed to do that but fear that God that thy brother may live with thee thou shall not give him thy money upon usery nor lend him thy victuals for increase you're not to take a benefit from somebody and I am the Lord your God which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt to heaven too give you the land of Canaan and to be your God he reminds them I am your God look at how I'm treating you I gave you all of this I delivered the land for you you didn't deserve it and if slavery thou shall not rule over him with vigor but show did I skip one yeah I did and if my brother that dwells by the beewax and poor and be sold into beasts he sold unto you you shall not compel him to serve as a bondservant he is your brother but as a hired servant and as a sojourner he shall be with thee and shall serve the into the year of Jubilee and then shall he depart from thee both he and his children with him his whole family returned to their family into the possession of his father shall he return so he has a place that he can live that he can grow that he can increase this is where he this is what I want you to do help him out but you're to pay him he is to work for you and then shall he depart verse 42 but they are my servants which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt they shall not be sold as bond men thou shall not rule over them with rigor or a hardness or to treat them fairly but shall fear thy God both my bond men and thy bond maids which thou shalt have shall be of the heathen that are round about you those that are not believers they are your bond men but not your brother 45 moreover the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you of them shall you buy and of their families that are with you which they begat in your land and they shall be your possession now slavery is what first comes to mind they're to be your possession but not as we have traditionally thought of slavery okay they were to be respected they were to be treated as human beings if you had a servant that worked for you and they were in rags and destitute what does that say about you this is there's other places and scriptures and they didn't tie it in here but it talks about how your servants they're a reflection of you so we have slaves and we think of our slavery in this country and they were cutting off their feet because they're running away they're doing all the stuff they treated them horribly that was not how Israel was to treat their bondman they were part of their family in a sense but they're still their possession in 46 you shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you to inherit them for possession they shall be your bondman forever but over your brethren of the children division shall not rule one over another with vigor that again goes back to the equity everything being equitable redeeming a poor man and if a soldier nor a stranger waxed rich by thee and thy brother that dwelt by him wax pour and sell himself under the stranger sojourner by thee or the stock of the strangers family after that he is sold he may be redeemed again one of his brethren they redeem him to Yi's comment about what if somebody else from another family this is Israel they are all one family with multiple tribes we are supposed to look out for each other either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him or any that is Nyak in unto him of his family may redeem him or if he be able he may redeem himself at any point he can get himself free even of a stranger now that would require as you were talking about what about the stranger they don't care about the laws of Israel but that's where Israel would step forward and say no that's my brother you need to let him free we're paying you and they need to hold those people accountable how many of you here would stand up for any of the others would you guys stand up for each other defend each other that's what it's talking about sorry I'm not yelling I just get excited and he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him the year of Jubilee and the price of the sale should be according to the number of years everything is fairly it's a stranger bought him then at least honor him and give him the same amount of money be fair about don't try to rip him off if there be many years behind according to them he shall give again the price of his Redemption out of the money they was bought for and if it remained but a few years of the year Jubilee then he shall count with him according to the year so he gave him again the price of his Redemption and as the yearly hired servant shall he be with him and the other shall not rule with him with vigor over him in thy sight and if he be not redeemed in these years then he shall go out in the year of Jubilee both he and his children with him for unto me the children of Israel are servants they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt I am the Lord your God we're not going to do 26 and 27 because we'll be here all afternoon what I want to do is I want to go to the end here and I want to show you some things oops yeah 26 something in here there it comes up you shall keep my sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary I am the Lord your God that is a word Shamar that means guard we're in Leviticus 26 - that's fear in Genesis 3:10 when Adam and Eve knew that they were naked they feared that's the route that's the person for that Shamar we are to guard his Sabbath and his sanctuary who what is this sanctuary we are a sanctuary we regard it and we regard each other yeah I'm going to zip down here so Hosea 9:10 so this goes to your question earlier Lydia or your comment 910 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness I saw your father's as the first ripe in the fig tree at their first time but they went about or and separated themselves unto that shame and their abominations we're according as they loved as for Ephraim their glory shall fly away like a bird from the birth and from the womb and from the conception though they bring up their children yet they will yet will I believe them that there shall not be a man left yellow also to them when I depart from them Ephraim as I saw Tyrus is planted in a pleasant place but every shall bring forth his children to the murder give them O Lord what wilt thou give give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts so you might be wondering what this is about I wanted to do the whole section Hosea is part of the Minor Prophets and here it says Tyrus is planted close the place with every shall bring forth his children to murder they were sacrificing their children they were murdering their children and that's one of the reasons if you read all of Hosea this was one of the reasons they went into captivity all their wickedness is in Gilgal for their I hated them for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of my house I will love them no more all their princes are revolt urse Ephraim is sitting there root is dried up they shall bear no fruit yeh though they bring forth yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb my God will cast them away because they did not hearken unto Him and they shall be Wanderers among the nations where a desired mercy and not sacrifice and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings what is your attitude how are you treating everyone there's a lot more of these as we go through them I'm going to go through them quickly here Joel 3:1 for behold in those days in that time when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem I will also gather all nations and bring them down into the valley of your host Pat and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nations and parted my land and they have passed lots for my people and have given a boy for an harlot and sold a girl for wine that they might drink yay and what have you to do with me Oh tyre and sidon and all the coasts of Palestine well you remember render me a recompense or you pay me back if you recompense me swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own IDI because you have taken my silver and my gold and have carried into your temples my goodly Pleasant things the children also yahuda and the children of Jerusalem have you sold unto the Grecians that you might remove them far from their borders this is dealing with God's people he says you're not going to mess with my people I'm going to come down hard on you if you mess with my people behold I will raise them up out of the place whether they have sold them and will return your recompense upon your head not only did the foreigners sell them but the people of Israel was selling their own people they were shipping them off we don't want you here we're getting rid of you it was really interesting because I wasn't careful last month about watch Heartland white card over and what's Christmas when years of other work they were on there were people too and these money for they were connecting people and they would actually are there any more promises god moisture could go somewhere else collectible and I mean finish it was around the top school and it's creature shaking in terms of the people that work of Barbados they were wife's like their long before they were had a blast I know so those people will be the know I mean they know they came wanting to hire those people that doesn't compromise with the president some have no idea what to FSU before Ralph because anyone managed and we take it here me yeah it's terrible let's go to Amos and close out up in here the stat the Lord with three transgressions of Israel and for for I will not turn away the punishment thereof because they sold the righteous for silver and the poor for a pair of shoes that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor and turn aside the way of the meat and a man and his father will go in and to the same made to profane my holy name that strengthened the spoil the strengthened the spoil against the strong so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress they hate him that rebuke it in the gate and they abour him that speaketh uprightly verse 11 for as much therefore as you're treading is upon the poor and you take from him burdens of wheat you have built houses of hewn stone but you shall not dwell in them you have planted Pleasant vineyards but you shall not drink the wine of them this right here goes to why Israel went into captivity over and over again you can see this why did Israel go to so let me ask you this let's go back we started with the 7-year Sabbath letting the land lay fallow and in the very first we read the verses do you remember what is that about who is to eat from the land the cattle the poor the widows those were to eat from the land when they did harvest the land they were not supposed to glean the corners either right because that was food for the poor what Israel was doing was ignoring the commandments of God to take care of the people they were hammering them with misery they were not allowing them to eat and take care of them they weren't redeeming them they were not obeying the commandments of God and that's the seventh year it wasn't so much I believe that it was that they weren't keeping the seventh year it was the principle of what the seventh year represented not only God's provision to them and their trusting in him but also their care for their people and he said I'd hate this I do not like this you have not kept that verse they went into captivity for 70 years and after aim was done away with forever out of the wahap forever but I mean they were cast out of land not to come back until is he killed 37 yes you they did way back yeah they brought the group yeah does this make sense you guys so when you read Leviticus and you read about the Jubilee year in the seven years think about all the stuff that goes with that and when you I did the study on the Minor Prophets years to get a couple miles about a year and a half two years ago I guess and I was really interesting to me I was asked to teach on the Minor Prophets it was really interesting me I saw this pattern over and over again about why they went into captivity because they were not taking care of their people they were abusing them they were stealing from them they didn't keep the Torah no they didn't and what is the tour about Yeshua said it love God with all your heart soul - strength and love your neighbor as yourself on these two Commandments depend the whole Torah and the prophets and really the Bible from Genesis to Revelation can be really summed up you schewe said it but it really is summed up that way are we ministering to each other are we taking care of each other and how do we do that we have to be in the spirit and listen to God do you think you should listen to the father he said he's dead right how many remember the story in acts when Peter and John are going into the temple through the beautiful gate and there's a man there who is laid daily to receive alms just remember that who do you think went through the gate Yeshua he probably went through that game multiple times why did he not heal that man why did you show and not heal that man that was laid daily at the gate because the father never told him to the father didn't say heal him but when John and Peter came along and Peter says silver and gold have I none but such doesn't I have in the name of Jesus Christ rise up in walk and then it created a huge hub up in the temple and God could have said in my mind that was my purpose so I you shoe it that's why I never told you she was says I never did anything except the father tells me to do it this is where we need to be pressing in to the Father obeying His commandments caring for one another ministering to one another walking by the spirit the purpose of the Holy Spirit is two purposes bring the lost into the family and minister to the family that's the two purposes of the holy spirit period there are other things that happen like healing if I pray for healing for somebody what does that do that's ministering to the family that's a function of the Holy Spirit we need to get to the place we're walking by the spirit listening to God do I help my brother do I care for him how do I do that how do i minister to them my sister we need to rise up to that place because that's what it's all about serving God serving each other okay let's close out with prayer you don't stand please ah the father thank you for your patience with us as we learn your word as we learn to love each other as we learn to care for each other father thank you thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit that enables us to see the hurt in our brother and sister to understand how to help them how to minister to them thank you all the father for giving us your word it gives us clearer pictures of where your heart is in your direction for us I speak a ministering spirit to your people here father bless comfort them guide them fill them to overflowing with your spirit father with joy everlasting just thank you Father for the blood of Yeshua that is cleanse us from all the things that we have done we can live for you it's in your son's name we pray I mean you you
