welcome back to the Fish Room everyone today we're going to be doing a full tour [Music] [Music] I'm going to be showing you as many tanks as possible we've got so many fish here at the moment it's not even funny I haven't done wholesale orders just for this video so that I could have all the tanks full of fish and I'm really excited to show you all of my fish today [Music] so my room's kind of funny I've got a lot of Tanks here a lot of breeding tanks but I do have a shop out front we can go and have a look at it now I'm not really going to show you guys the shop today just because I kind of think we don't really have enough time I think there's a lot more interesting things going on Outback that I really want to show you guys so this is my shop this is where I sell director consumer a lot of my fish so you can see here we've got the tanks full of fish that we've bred out back where in Brisbane you guys can come visit us we're only open on Saturdays from 10 till 4 so if you want to come pick up some fish hop on our website look at what we have in stock it's likely that if it's in stock on the website we have it here if it's not in the shop just ask us and we can normally go out back and get you guys what you want so yeah I mean it's not really like a huge shop if you come in and you have a look I've shown you it before in previous videos but it's like you know it's it's a tiny shop I just use it to sell obviously my fish to meet you guys and yeah we have some really cool fishing here at the moment just like I don't think we've got time today there's so many things out back that I want to show you so I'm just letting you know we've got this if you guys want to come check it out come check it out but if we come out back I'll show you guys all the stuff out back so these are breeding tanks here so these are all two foots so in the fish room I have two sizes of Tanks I'm about to have three sizes actually but I've got two foots and four foots I use my two foots for a lot of my spawning and breeding and then I use the foots to grow out large amounts of fish so there's two foots here I think in this facility I have close to close to 300 tanks it's a lot of Tanks here so they all have automatic water change systems it makes it a lot easier for me and I do have staff who help me out with taking care of all this fish and packing the orders and all that so it's not just me but there's more two foots here out here we have the four Footers so I think there's 75 four Footers or some something like that 70 plus four Footers these are actually really easy to take care of they're just impossibly hard to clean so yeah I'll show you guys these a bit later on um you know we've got tons of really cool fish so I can't wait to give them all the feed they're all really hungry because I haven't fed them this morning so yeah we've got more four Footers over here as well tons of interesting things going on like I've changed a lot since the last time you guys would have seen the room in a full tour so we'll finish up and I'll show you guys this room this is like my kind of favorite breeding room there's a lot of little two foot tanks here and I use this for more like uh hot species like they like warmer water so you can see instantly lots and lots of fish lots and lots of Tanks so it's going to be a really long video I just want you guys to come hang out with us and we're just going to take our time it's gonna be a huge video so yeah lots and lots of cool things going on so before that we're gonna make a coffee um we've recently it's a little bit grotty here at the moment we've recently got ourselves a little coffee rig my friend Jason who comes on a lot of the adventures with me comes around to the room a lot of the time comes to the shop on the weekend just hangs out with us loves coffee like I've never seen someone drink more coffee than Jason and he's like we need a coffee set up here at the fish room so he went and got these mugs made so this is my mug we got him his own mug there too so I'm gonna make me and Hal and a coffee Fish Room Style so I always give him a good rinse out because you never know whether the brine shrimp's gotten into the cups making the secret stash here do you want sugar I don't have sugar here we'll have two be a long video bro you want one or two all right Jason would be like it I put four look at that having coffee at the fish room is so nice like so nice just grab a cup and just like look at them all like that's what me and Jason do so I'm gonna take it over here so these ones here oh yeah and look it's even got his his name on it the milk make sure it's not expired voila Fish Room coffee there we go here cheers bro all right there's gonna be a lot of Tanks let's start off on the interesting stuff bro like you're out here there's cool stuff but we always start here so we're way out the back now and the first tank I want to show you guys is the zebra plecos so these I've had for man like two and a half years oh I don't know I'm losing like time's gone so quick for me I've had them for a long time they're all adults and I haven't had them breed yet so I've talked about it before my theory with these fish is that they are all males a lot of people say that you can't pick out males with plecos and when plecos are babies a lot of people don't know this but if you get like a whole batch of baby plecos and you put them in a container by the time they're three months you'll have like a clear difference between small plecos and big plecos and the big ones are normally your males so like what a lot of breeders can do and people don't know this is they can just take the big ones out of the batch of their babies and then they can keep all the females for themselves and sell the males so I kind of think this is what maybe happened with these either that or I'm just a bad breeder which is kind of could be likely I'm not very good with plecos yeah I don't know it's kind of disappointing they're a cool fish I'm going to keep them regardless if someone in this video has got a female they want to trade I'd be happy to trade two males for a female I don't really want to sell them unless it's for like the right price I'm kind of attached to these fish so like having a guaranteed female would be cool because then I could have a go at breeding them I kind of in my early days thought you know two thousand dollar fish whatever thousand dollar fish it's going to be easy to breathe it's going to be easy to make a lot of money off I was completely wrong wasted a lot of money on these fish but it's turned out to be kind of worth it because they are just so cool I mean if you look in here and you just some people don't get plecos but once you see a fish like this I think you should start to get it really because look at that like what freshwater fish naturally looks like that and only gets to a size about that big you know just so cool so that's the zebs up there coming down these are my longfin panda Cory breeders yeah it's a super messy tank but I don't care a lot of people like to have their breeding tanks really clean I mean I would too I just haven't really got around to cleaning this one but in all honesty the dirtier the tank sometimes the better the breeding I get so these lay eggs for me all the time I always feed them live black worms and they just go nuts like coming next door here we've got some more these are just common pandas quite elusive you know like a lot of my quarries they really like to hide all day but these have actually had some eggs last night which I'll have to go out and pick out if you come here and have a look you can see right in that mop there's some eggs can you see those yeah look there's like seven there eight there I like can spend easily once the core is spawn in here I can easily spend like an hour just picking eggs out [Music] previously I'd just take the mop out drop it into another tank but I really like the control of picking out eggs sometimes because you can put them into a tank and you can see everything that's going on with them so I'll show you some rearing tanks later but down here these have just you know I don't know they're a funny fish these are peppermint bristlers I was having a lot of success in my old room with them had them in a really dirty tank they were just doing their thing and they were breeding for me like all the time and I was really happy because they're expensive so I was making a lot of money off them here in this fish room I just can't get them to fire the same way and a lot of people have talked about that so I don't really care in this tank you can see I've got cherry shrimp so up on this log here there's like the big fat cherry shrimp there but I've talked about this in like previous videos but shrimp are a really easy way of making a tank still productive so like I don't really care now if these bristle notes breed because I've got the cherry shrimp in there and the cherry shrimp are going to breed regardless and I'm still going to be able to like it's not about making money but like when you got overheads like I've got like it's about just covering costs and I actually do make money off this tank even though the bristles aren't breeding so it's kind of like if they do breed it's a bonus and it also kind of takes the pressure off the fish because a lot of the time we're like oh I want these debris I want these debris and we like love them to death and then they they don't really breed and it's kind of just it'll be a nice surprise they will breed again it'll be a nice surprise when I come in and there's eggs in the tube and whatever yeah it's just a cool way of utilizing a tank this is kind of interesting here too if you want to have a look look at those black worms in that filter [Music] so this is actually a really cool tank up here these are my baby pea puffers so for a long time like the last couple of months I actually haven't really been breeding my peas and part of the reason is these are like when I talk about breeding fish I've learned this from other professional breeders there's things where they're really easy to breed and they make little money and there's things that make a lot of money but are a pain in the butt to breed these are definitely a pain in the butt fish and if it weren't for the price I'd still do it just for fun but it would 100 not be worth it so this is actually quite a decent batch there must be about 15 in here you can see the little guys up here the reason I haven't bred them in the last month is because I went away so when I went away we weren't able to keep up their live food they need baby Brian shrimp every day like every single day and they almost need it twice a day just to keep them fed so lots of little babies up here and if you come next door this tank oh we're starting to see a few babies come out not as many there might be like 10 in this batch it's one of those fish where like the annoying thing is you can't just breed it and get hundreds it's like you breed it and then you might get like five you might get 15 it just you might get a hundred I've gotten 100 once and I was like I thought I was gonna be so rich and then they never did it again so you know it's just I think they're kind of seasonal um so maybe it was like just right time and all that stuff but they still breed for me all the time another cool thing I've been doing with a lot of my tanks which you'll notice from the last time is I'm really getting into the plants it's hard to have a breeding tank with plants because your plants grow on the substrate and having substrate in a breeding tank for me I hate because it makes it really hard to clean it's like obviously it's really beneficial to have a substrate but just with breeding I like to have full control over the tank I want to know everything that's going on in there that's why I don't have duckweed in these tanks that's why I don't have snails or I try not to it's always really hard for me to have the plants and I figured out well I can just put the plants in a pot and then when it's time to harvest they can take them out and then I get all the benefits of a planted tank well you know a lightly planted tank and it looks really cool so like up here these are some crypts and look how happy the fish are in them there's it's full of peas there's like and the Crips are going nuts and they're using up all the nutrients from the peas it looks cool it makes me feel like nice and warm I like looking at the plants and even I'll eventually once the plants have grown I can sell them in the shop and make a little bit of money and that might just pay for the lights because Lighting in this fish room is freaking expensive as well but this is a decent batch of pea buffers right here you can see maybe there's 25 in this batch I've combined two but but look how cute the little guys are it's so cool I mean yeah this I just love pee puffers so much like I remember I posted the video and um I got so many comments on the the People video that people like guys ripping you off he's selling them for like 80 bucks each or whatever people don't realize it here like you can't get these in this in in Australia they're not allowed to be imported so the ones that are here are like here and people were selling these for 300 bucks each two years ago so like I tried my best to get it down they eat a ton of live food it cost me a lot to make them so like it's kind of silly to sell them for like two bucks or whatever they get them for overseas and also a lot of the overseas ones are wild caught which I think is like not really that good like I'd rather have captive bred ones so but yeah those are my peas I've got two colonies of panda quarries going so I don't think these have laid any eggs today honor they have yeah look can you see that right there oh yeah yeah some more eggs so I gotta go through and pick out eggs after this oh we've got some seamless quarries these I've got a few of them available online I've also got the panda corys available down below as well we'll do a little coupon code for this video like we'll do like 15 off so that'll only be for a couple of weeks after I post it so if you guys want to buy some fish we do ship over Australia we'll send them straight to your door if you're in selected States so we do have a few of these available yeah I don't know they're cool looking Corey they're called like the smudge spot and they've got like this Violet stripe on their back you can see these are massive like they're years and years old now these are actually huge quarries but um they're really cool looking I think I've just grown tired of them because I've had them for so long so because I've had them for so long they're like my little pets and I like keeping them and like breeding them but every time they breed I'm like oh whatever because I'm kind of used to it now which is it's just part of the hobby you just you know you want to always try and do something new so they're still cool I have heaps them available but that's those I guess we'll stay on the theme of Cory's we'll come down here just I want to show you all these breeding tanks because they're so cool but these are the uh trolling the artists so I've had a few issues actually with these trial and the artists so these are like my f3s so I've had quite a few Generations at this point they just seem to have mistakes happen to them and uh this is my new breeding Colony so there's actually two little eggs there might as well pick them there you go at least I know they're breeding he'll put them in a random tank and see if they hatch out someday oh my God they might they're really cool uh nice leopard looking stripe on them I don't have any available right now but should do soon I mean we're getting eggs now so that's kind of cool we're next door this has popped off since the last time you saw it so these are another colony of my um yeah no bro I know these are another colony of the peppermint bristlenose and there has been an absolute shrimp explosion in here and it's awesome because I've started to get some really cool different colors so like I don't know if we're going to be able to see it today but I've just added in this Banana Leaf a lot of people don't know this you can actually feed your shrimp banana leaves and they love it so my dad's got a banana tree in his backyard and I was jumping on the trampoline with my little sister and I was like oh I forgot it I forgot he had the the banana tree so I was like oh I'll rip off a few I was Dad did you poison this tree like Ariana he's like no like okay cool yeah I've just been throwing the banana leaves in the tanks and the good thing is they're a really light Leaf so they break down relatively quick but they sink really easy because there's so much surface area it grows this awesome biofilm on it so like here underwater like that surface area all this bacteria is going to start to Decay this leaf and it's going to create like a Biro film and the shrimp in the tank eat the biofilm so it's like free food and it's the best food for them and basically all these shrimp all the babies have a really good survival rate because they've got so much biofilm so I learned this from Glenn that was a he's taught me so much about shrimp in the last like a couple of months and changed the game for me so I learned that from him like with shrimp you're not actually trying to keep shrimp because you're trying to culture biofilm and the results speak for themselves like if you look in here there's gonna be I reckon there's a thousand cherry shrimp in here at least can you see them all Miss I know and look how red some of them are getting they're like this and they're all buried like look at that female there man he's here yeah some real yeah I know and this really is coming out like I'm so happy about that so we're gonna set up a new shrimp rack here in the room soon and I'm gonna take some of these release and try and line breed them but yeah I reckon as well like the banana leaves release like a tannin into the water and I reckon that tannin actually helps the shrimp and the fish out a lot like just antibacterial and just keeps them nice and healthy and happy we've also got some pothos growing in the top these will help with the nitrates so I love to use plants in the tops of my tanks and um yeah they're going to grow down they've just started to send down some Roots you can see up here yeah so those roots are sucking up all the nitrates and the the bad stuff in the tank and turning into a really beautiful little pothos plant so yeah so we'll come up here this is a fish that I was like nearly about to stop breeding because I just couldn't have any success with it and then I realized what was going wrong with it so these are a really cool Killy fish they're the orange Australia killifish and they're constantly hiding you'll have to come in and have a look the males are one of the best looking freshwater fish you can get like look how cool he looks I'm probably gonna have to do a special video on them but I figured out what I was doing wrong so yeah yeah bro look look at that fish Isn't that cool it's crazy yeah they lay eggs every day pretty much now but I've got three or four pairs in here at the moment and um basically they just like it really hot so I chucked the heater in there and it fixed them up and now they're breeding like crazy but the problem is that eggs take so long to hatch so yeah like it takes about a month so pick out the eggs I'll put them into a container with a bit of meth blue and then a hatch out it's just so annoying when you get something going you take it for granted and then like something changes and you don't know what went wrong with it and then up here this is a really cool tank these are my 20 ones I actually haven't had much success with my plecos in the last eight months I think maybe it's got something to do with we've just gone through winter so it's not really their breeding season um but I saw this male flirting before so I'm gonna check if he's got any eggs because if they do that'd be cool I think he's got a female trapped in there so that's cool we might get some eggs out of there but like I said I don't want to put pressure on these fish I want them to just do what they're meant to do and what I've done is instead of turning this into a l201 breeding tank it's become a blue dream shrimp breeding tank with El tour ones in it that might breed so there's a bunch of Blue Dream shrimp in here they're freaking Elusive and I've just added them in so you'll see the occasional one around but that's not really important I love to leave that Mom in there some people don't like that you see that like the mom is like the decaying matter in the tank I love to leave it in there I reckon it's super beneficial for all the fish like you can see especially in this tank like look how much malms in here dude these are my 397s but I recently just added some pothos cuttings into the top and dude have a look how nuts this pothos is starting to go that's like two weeks of growth yeah I know and look at the root ball that sent out down below ain't that nuts yeah I know and that's helping to suck out all the nitrates in the tank and creates a beautiful plant I'm not gonna lie I reckon in in this Fish Room we've got some of the nicest air in Brisbane it's like a rainforest because there's so many little plants growing everywhere so yeah that's really cool the 397s I've talked about these previously ever since I took the pressure off I had a lot of success with them there's some yellow shrimp in here they're not the nicest yellow shrimp but they're still breeding yeah ever since I took the pressure off them I've started to have yeah babies actually show up and honestly this tank is getting a bit nasty like you could test the water the water would be perfectly fine this plant's growing in there and the fish lover but I just need to get some of that filled out so they're a really messy fish like l397s spend the whole day rasping on logs and pooping basically and when you don't clean the tank for ages this is what it turns into but like I just kind of want to show this tank because you know people would think oh that Tank's gone nasty but the fish absolutely love it and look the shrimp are happy like it's a perfectly thriving little ecosystem in there so you know sometimes having these fastidiously clean tanks isn't the best um you know the fish like it nice and natural and muddy and yuck you know and I I like to look at the diversity of the tanks some tanks to clean some tanks are dirty there's always something going on so yeah down here these are a funny Quarry I've had success with them but they kind of do their own thing and they breed when they want to so these are gold laser quarries I never see them and I only see eggs pop up in the tank once a month they're one of the coolest looking Corridor species out there they get this nice neon stripe on them you see that female there I mean how cool is that fish yeah can you see it yeah so like they naturally look like that but the problem is they just don't breed that reliably for me like when is the storm going to happen here in Brisbane like right before the storm's about to hit I do a big water change with cold water and that normally gets them going I love to keep them with a lot of live black worms so you can see here this crushed Coral bags full of live black worms so they can have a treat whenever they want look at that see that yeah dude I know culturing live black worms like crazy here these are expensive like they're 100 bucks for like yeah 500 grams or whatever so yeah look at that so they just munch on that whenever they want they just every now and then I'll look under the leaves and there'll be some eggs and I'll hatch them out and then I get some gold laser quarries they are expensive for a reason so like they're 30 bucks I do have babies available down below they're just not super reliable breeders which is why they're kind of more expensive so yeah down here I'm probably not going to show Too Many like tiny baby tanks just because we got so many these are a batch of bosmani rainbows now this is the old way of producing bosmani's for me I've switched to a new breeding method but basically what I've done with this tank is I've added a bunch of adults they've laid eggs for 10 days and I've taken the adults out and then all these babies have started to show up so I call them eyelashes when they're this big they're impossible to feed so that's where bug Buffet comes in really useful so I know I've talked about a lot I'm not going to talk about it much in this video this is bug Buffet it's my new food I've talked about it so much in all my videos but the good thing about it is it's based on insects so it's naturally like got a really good protein Source but you can crush up the pellets into like a dust and it breaks up you can see all the little pieces falling down the babies actually get a chance to eat it so it's a really good food to feed to babies and I love to feed it to tanks like this too because like if you have a look right I smoosh this up and it turns into like a biofilm on the tank and all these little shrimp will actually get a chance to have some food and as well as the plecos the plecos will come out and have a bite to eat feel it for yourself but it crushes up into a nice powder there a lot of people have been saying all right it makes a mess in my tank and stuff like that and what I'd say about that problem is firstly it's a very dense food so be careful when you feed it like you've got to feed it way lighter than you think like you know that's one pellet there and that's gonna I probably just overfed that tank like there's enough bacteria in there to clean it up but you've got to feed it light it's not this food you can just dump in there but the other thing too is this is such a natural supplement for what a fish would actually eat in the wild like if you look and you go into these ecosystems I've been around Australia like looking at stuff there's no food like you wonder what the heck are these fish eating they're eating the occasional bug off the top of the water they're eating the occasional daphnia but most of the time they're just picking at rocks and finding little scroungings and you know once there's a big layer of food on the tank everyone gets a chance to eat it like you know the big fish get to eat it initially and then they break it up and then it goes down the bottom and your shrimp get to eat it and then your pluckies get to eat it then your quarries get a chance then the shrimp come over and clean it up and the snails get to eat it so it's just like this is the best packaged food you can buy besides live food I'd say so yeah anyways enough about the food let's keep going these I've only just got these available on the website but these are my new orange ficatas so they are one of the coolest freshwater fish you can get they're super easy to breed they are a little pseudomogo blue eye and these are my f1s so I've got a group of six of them I've bred a ton of them up and these are the ones that I've saved myself so now I've got two breeding groups crush up some bug buffet for them they absolutely love the food but yeah they're one of the coolest freshwater fish you can get like I don't know a single freshwater fish that looks like that so basically once you grow them up to about this size they start laying eggs every day and their eggs are super easy to hatch out super fun to breed and yeah I've fallen in love with blue eyes you can see more babies here like these are another batch of bosmani's cool give us some food this is my hillstream Loach breeding tank I've been trying to figure out the best way to breed them I've recently found out how easy they are to breed it's just trying to get them to reliably breed which is a struggle because part of the problem I had is when I was breeding them I had them like in this huge tank exactly set up this way but I couldn't Harvest any of the babies out and what kind of happened was they breed and then the first batch of babies would come out and I reckoned what was happening was that that batch of babies was eating the next lots of eggs that they were laying so what I did was I took all the rocks out of that tank you're going to see that tank later and I took all the adults out set up another tank and just restarted The Colony and then I left all the babies to grow out so it's taken a little while I actually haven't seen any babies pop up in here since I've had them set up for just over a month so their babies are tiny like they're really really small fish so I don't know whether it'll take a while before I start to see them if they are breeding I've been feeding the bug Buffet every day so that should be plenty of protein for them I've also been feeding live brine shrimp and stuff like that but yeah I haven't seen any babies yet so I'm wondering what kind of what's going on with them maybe it'll just take a bit longer before I start seeing them but yeah I mean I've added a ton of rocks in here and I see the adults all the time so I don't know it took like four months for the other tank to become good so [Music] in here we've got some l134s these are the leopard frog pleco I've bred them twice I've bred them famously once when I left I went on a trip with my friends and I left the fish room for my girlfriend Sarah to take care of and I came back and there was babies in the tank and I was super happy about that so she's got like the Midas touch with these fish and then since then I had one spawn and there's like four babies that I just left in here that have been growing out so again dirty tank there's some red cherry shrimp in here I threw some baby Hill stream loaches in here and honestly they love it it's just a perfectly balanced little tank I don't like it super clean I like it a little bit dirty the fish like it a little bit dirty and yeah I feed them bug Buffet every day they just love it bro there's some massive shrimp in here too like I was looking in here yesterday look at the size that shrimp's a rig but there's one that's like double as big of it as it must be like years old at this point yeah but yeah they love the food yeah yeah you can see the little baby like he's there they might spawn again you can see actually look he's come out for a bite to eat they're a really cool looking fish I just wish they were easier to breed but that's why they cost so much so this tank red cherry shrimp breeding tank if the plecos breed they breed but I don't care and honestly it's better for me it's better for the fish that way and you actually have fun keeping a fish instead of trying to turn them into little dollar bills so up here this is why I love pea puffers look at how cute these all are so these are my f1s I selected out 10 from my first batch of babies and this is now a breeding group and they've actually been really prolific for me so what I've been doing with these pea puffer breeding tanks is I add a ton of black worms into the tank just to feed them and I put them in a heated tank and then I add a pot with a plant in there and I absolutely love it I'm trying to figure out whether they actually need the heat and so I've got this tank set up here I've just set them up yesterday this Tank's actually heated and then next door I've got my original group these are my original adults in here and I've got them in here with a nice hair grass pot and whatever it looks really cool but I've got no heat in here so what I'm going to see is whether the heat makes a difference for breeding them I'm really trying to figure out like a reliable way of every time setting it up getting a certain amount of babies because I just think they're such a cool fish and I'm still trying to work it out with them so I actually pulled them out yesterday and I looked in this tank and we've already got tiny itty bitty baby puffer fish where are they we saw them this morning didn't we yeah yeah cool look at this oh dude they're tiny look at this ready ready I'll put my finger next to them oh my gosh look at that oh my God can you you can't even see him bro here I'll try and Corral them to the front they're still schooling look at that oh I see bro so these are f2s so they're they're from that that heated group um oh my goodness Bro Look at that here you can see them in my hand can you see that little speck oh yeah what the heck oh my gosh that's so cool that he'd be like a day old so you can see yeah they need a lot of brine shrimp I like I love keeping their tanks dirty too because just all that biofilm they eat all like little things that grow on it so but yeah I don't know too many Fisheries where you see stuff like that that's pretty cool hey yeah I I I love coming in here and having a look so up here these are my blue Rams so I've had this line for ages like I've had this for three years and they've started to turn out really good so I've actually worked out something with my little my with my Rams lately so I had some issues recently with um with bloat it's a common issue with dwarf cichlids see they love the bug Buffet there I just randomly have tanks of rams start going funny and what I figured out was black worms were actually causing this problem so something about blood worms and black worms they don't react very well with my Rams and I've stopped feeding them blood worms and black worms and now I only feed all of my Rams bug Buffet Frozen Brian shrimp and live baby Brian shrimp and you can see just how good they look like dude look at that mail that is such a nice line of rams there so that's yeah your standard blue Ram male I put three or four pairs in a tank and I kind of just let them spawn [Music] and then yeah I've got a really cool plant in this pot so this is a rose and made encrypt you see that yeah they actually spawned on this the other day but this plant's too rare and I was like oh I don't want to cut the leaf off this to save the spawn so I just smushed all the eggs up and threw them in the tank and they ate them all but yeah this is a really cool Plant as well like if you guys have some really cool plants we that you think would grow well in here let me know because I want to get them and just try and grow them and see how they go but next door I've got another cool project so in here these are my new super red Rams so these are a new line of fish they've got a long way to go before they become like you know dark dark red Rams but these are my f1s and I've just picked them out and you can see they look completely different to me than a German blue Ram they've got way more red on them like there's that's actually a really good example of a red Ram there but here's a pair as well can you kind of tell the difference there slightly they got they got a bread body but these are only young they they take a while to really get their red [Music] yeah we'll feed him some bug Buffet they'll love it but yeah they're such a cool little fish um yeah I fell in love with Rams again like I kind of fell out of love with them for a little while because I just was having that bloat issue and ever since I fixed that up like look at that can you see him eating that's so cool yeah so you can see that red on them you know and they're sparring constantly such healthy fish so I do have pairs of these available they are expensive because I don't have a lot of them and I've got to really work on trying to get that bloodline right look at them bro oh it's so cool that's so cool oh dude it just gives me like so much like dopamine like I don't know I just love looking at it [Music] we'll go straight to my other group of Red Rams so these all will be wigged out because I just had the lights off but there's there's like one of the best males you could fill it in so I got him in here with oh yeah he's massive bro so he's the one who's made all my Red Rams at the moment this is why they're called Red Rams you'll see it once I get him out come to the front buddy that can be a little bit aggressive Rams especially when they're in pairs oh you come to the front you look too good to stay at the back all right so that's a red Ram there so he's been asleep too so his color is going to come out I'll get b-roll once he really colors up yeah they can be aggressive like I found when you're breeding Blue Rams and all that sort of stuff if you have them in pairs and you start pulling the eggs out what happens is the male kind of gets pissed off at the female or the female gets pissed off of the male and they start to fight after you've pulled the eggs a couple of times so what I do is add like one male and two females and he kind of rotates between the two and you can see I keep the tank really dirty and give them plenty of hiding spaces because when he starts beating up the other female she needs somewhere to go or he's going to kill her so heaps of hiding spaces in here I also add rice fish to like actors Dithers as well so the male can take his aggression out on them but another way you can breed them is like I showed you before lots of pears and they do really well so up here these I've only just recently been allowed to be bred commercially in Queensland these are the honey blue eyes for ages you weren't actually allowed to sell this fish in Queensland you were allowed to keep it and breed it but you couldn't sell it for money and they recently changed the rules for these and a bunch of other species so now you're allowed to actually breed them and sell them for money and of course I wasn't gonna miss out on that opportunity and my mate Jason gave me a bunch of them and I've been breeding them up and they've all been doing really well so I've got the meeting bug Buffet um can you see him problem is they've just been asleep so they're not quite colored up like you see him there yeah they're like all cinem ogles and Rainbow Fish they lay eggs every morning and I just go through the mop pick them out and yeah hatch them out from there so this is a Corey breeding tank and can you see the amount of Quarries in there come closer I'll sit in the pipe yeah dude there's a ton when I lift up this Sponge Filter you'll see them all ready got lots of panda corys and stuff available right now they're all on sale so go and hit that up but the way I breed my quarries is really really simple so what I'll do is take out all the eggs like I was showing you before I'll actually pick them out and put them into a container like with just water eggs and nothing else and then I'll half fill a tank up so I'll have a tank to about this level just because you aren't kind of shallow so that when the fish hatch out they can breach so I put them in there I'll write the date on the tank that the eggs were laid so like all right like the first of the month and then I add a square to methylene blue just till like not a heap just until the water looks blue and this will help with the fungus and then what will happen is the eggs will hatch within two days so I'll leave them for two days at two days I add Indian almond leaves to the tank and the Almond leaves soak up the methylene blue and you want that methylene blue out I start to feed once they're swimming around the bottom feed them bug Buffet like because it crushes up really nice into a powder and from there I fill the tank up and I'll leave them literally until they're sellable size in the same tank I find Cory's actually do really well in big numbers and like I like leaving them in tanks the funny thing is because they're down the bottom constantly sifting I haven't cleaned this tank but look how clean it is it's kind of interesting I've always noticed that with Corey's so sometimes when I got tanks where I don't want mole I just add one or two quarries and they keep the mom away they just eat molem all day so yeah the bug buffets are perfect food for them so in here we've got here just come into this filter dude this is like one of the coolest tanks in the fish room okay you ready I know it's so fun I love breeding Gories look at them all bro [Music] and I just throw them all together like there's like gold lasers there's Panda quarries but look how clean the bloody tank is they keep it so clean this is actually a good tank to show you for the breeding so in here you can see I've added mops in here and this is just an experiment it's actually gone really well but if you lift up the mops these are all like younger quarries so I've got to make a breeding video on these you see they they look really cute still but yeah they've got a bit of growing to do and you can see like the Tank's still half full kind of like it slowly fills up as they get older so yeah this has been one of my most prolific tanks in the fish room right now so in here these are actually your fish dude Harlan gave me some of his um longfin bristlenose when you went away remember that yeah and I just left the pear in here and I was trying to like I kind of need to take my own advice sometimes I was trying to pull the eggs out I was trying to do all this stuff and like I kept losing all the babies because the Longford bristlenose started breeding I literally just left them in here with a ton of cherry shrimp and they've gone nuts like there's at least three or four batches you can see this baby tiny like these are would be a day old that one there long-term personalized but then look at the logs like at the back there's like some two-month-old ones and basically what I've been doing is just when I see big ones I just pull them out and then I put them in other tanks and they help keep the other tanks clean or I sold them but the other thing in here too is shrimp bro there's so many shrimp in here like so many ready look at this Leaf see they're eating all that Indian almond Leaf there look at him yeah I've got a special on cherry shrimp at the moment too obviously so if you guys want some cheap cherry shrimp head to the website look at that so cool hey I'm gonna make sure I don't have any baby cherry shrimp in that net still oh my gosh let's head out to get the other ones out perfect but yeah like I said cherry shrimp man like such an easy way to make a tank profitable and they keep the tank clean and this is I throw like that much food in there twice a day and it's always gone so I just put that in there and then just go to town on a but yeah look at them they love it it's so fun you could sit and look at that tank for like hours yeah so cool oh these are so nice look at these little peacocks these are the peacocks I got from Jason ages ago look how colorful they are they're coming out really good on camera yeah wait watch them eat the bug Buffet oh I know isn't it cool and with all the crypts as well in there like it just makes the tank look so nice so yeah I know that's the thing rainbows that I reckon Rainbows are still so slept on like people don't realize how good they are but yeah wait look at the quarries down here man I've got so many quarries right now I probably made like a thousand quarries easily in the last like couple of weeks look at them all isn't it crazy I know and they're like they do so well they just I reckon my water's perfect for them or something they just love it and start calling me Panda Nick bro it's all like look at them all is that crazy no one's like I swear I've never seen this many quarries somewhere like there's a bug Buffet surely they go straight to it I just freaked them out though yeah there's all sorts of fish in there that it's like panda panda quarries uh there would be a few Julia's there's longfin pandas there's gold lasers yeah see them go straight to that food let's sit on a but wait dude look next door I told you look very very ready oh my goodness there's actually not as many in here oh you know why I harvested out there was like bosmani's in here I left one and the bosmani went through and ate probably a bunch of the regulars so it's all right these are like survival of the fittest wait it doesn't stop look at these there's like six or seven tanks with like 150 quarries I know that's the best thing about having so many tanks now it's just I can just like have fun with it like I I don't know if I can even find homes for all these fish I'm just gonna make millions of quarries for fun it's just so fun to look at them and feed them and that's what it's about in here this is a new plant I've got these are a broadleaf chain sword I absolutely love how it's looking but look at that it's it's slowly melting back it's obviously it was immersed grown but once it settles in I reckon it's going to look so nice oh look it's already started to send its little chains out so yeah but these are Santa Claus Guppies from my friend Nat and uh no babies yet but they'll start dropping soon I'd say I mean those females are kind of looking juicy here we'll give them some food this bug Buffet it's so versatile like I just feed it to everyone you wouldn't know it in here too but I've got some um I'm gonna call them fire red shrimp there's two types of really red shrimp there's Bloody Marys and fire reds Bloody Marys have a brown base and fire reds have a clear base so I started all my shrimp from like these if you look up here which are my low-grade red cherries can you see those shrimp there hold up yeah yeah yeah so like all my shrimp started I bought 15 of them and all the shrimp you see in the room started from them yeah like two months ago and then what happened was like they started throwing all these really cool lines so like they got like really deep red ones and I got really I'm still yet to work on the release but I threw my best red ones in here what I've been doing is just selectively breeding them and dude I've actually oh it's a baby oh yeah it did they bred nice see it yep hell yeah but um I've been throwing all my red ones in here and they've been just going nuts but they look so red here's a good one yeah yeah see so it's like I'm just slowly line breeding them to be like that that deep Fire Red they'll get there eventually these are one of my favorite lines right now these are the Bluegrass I brought in a bunch of them to the shop have a look at the mail yeah Isn't that cool yeah I brought a bunch of them in store and I sold out of them instantly but look they've been dropping heaps of babies too like can you see all the babies around the tank oh yeah yeah let's feed them real quick these are the Blue Grass oh yeah look at this tank these are the unicorns I finally got unicorns up so they don't look like their parents yet but right they're so cool here's a bunch of bug buffet for them you can see the tanks with plants just they do so well like it's just like a little ecosystem it's like I don't know they it I don't have to do many water changes they look amazing there's something to look at in there yeah dude there's another group down here let's have a look I've got better groups than these but these are the um red neon blue eyes these are like I've got three breeding groups going at the moment they're just so popular can you see them yeah dude look how cool they look I got like six of them from Jason maybe four months ago and from them I've made like hundreds and uh yeah I've got these available down below they're still really expensive just because I can't keep them in stock look at the luminescent eyes like on that fish down there luminescent blue eyes and like a neon stripe Todd to see you'll see it on b-roll I'll do down here these are two bearers I haven't been making many to bearers um they're still really cool I've talked about them lots in the last tour so these are like some babies just growing out but I wanted to show this is uh some Moss that I ripped out of a creek and look it's grown really well I'm not too sure what type of moss it is but it's been growing in here and dude look at this this is a crypt look at that it's gone nuts yeah it's um it's a compactor I think Oh look The Roots come out the bottom Jason gave it to me and we just planted it up and it's gone ballistic in there all right so you know how I was talking about the Rams before these I'm so lucky I got so lucky so years ago I was making um black Rams and the way I started my black Rams is actually a funny story these things came in they were called like blue black Rams and dude they were the worst fish like they couldn't have been so like they were so bad they were so skinny and they were like expensive they were like 50 bucks each and like they looked like a blue RAM and they had no clue but I I kind of suspected there was like a black Ram Jean in there and what I did was I bought like six of them so I spent like 300 bucks on them whatever and I wormed them like I got I tried so hard just I put so much love into these fish and I finally got a batch of babies out of them and then from there that started off like that when they bred they'd get like little midnight Rams and all that like that's how basically the midnight Ram started I reckon here in Australia like most of them I don't wanna I'm not saying that I started them but like I reckon that's how they started from that that line of fish and anyways I had a disease go through my last room right before I moved in here and it wiped out all my black Rams I had none left I got one midnight Ram that survived and it wasn't doing that well and I threw it in a tank with blue ramps and I was like I lost my like I lost my midnight Ram line I lost them I lost them I was so upset about it and I was hitting up people who had them and like I'd sold them to them and they're like nah not got none for sale they wouldn't sell them to me but anyways I pulled out eggs and one day I looked in my fry tray and there was black Rams in it and I was like yes so obviously it had bread with one of the blue Rams and now we've got black Rams again look at them so these will start up the next line of black black rounds for me and the good thing about these is that crossed him with a blue Ram so they're going to have really good genetics here ready we'll drop in some of these they love bug Buffet yeah you can see the darkness on them though yeah I know how cool so once these get up to size I'm not going to sell a single one I'm just going to smash out black Rams I want like so many wait here's a fire red shrimp for you so that's what I've been breeding yeah see how red it is that's what all I added like 15 of them to that that tank before like come here yeah but the females just look so red I should actually take her out look at that shrimp [Music] yeah so hopefully I can get them all looking like that isn't that that's 100 of fire red there yeah I know but look at the black Rams too man so cute so yeah to all my haters got black Rams back now and look this boost in here has gone nuts too it's got a flower I know I haven't even got CO2 in here just black Ram poop and it's gone nuts wait this Tank's kind of boring these are just blue Rams but let's give them some food because it's so fun to feed Rams yeah this is where I actually got a lot of my fire reds out of there they're going they lost the food oh here we go I love it nice actually I'll show you the um rack here real quick so when I hatch out those killer fish eggs and when I hatch out the pseudomoglo eggs I put them in here so what I do is I pick out the eggs and I put them into a tray like this you can see here this is a I think these are these would be like a mix of blue eyes but they'll go into a tray like this oh yeah yeah so I'll put the eggs in here and I'll put like methylene blue in here and then I'll add eggs until I start to see fry swimming on the top of the water so they'll sit in here and then these have finally I've finally got some fry out of them which is why I really wanted to make this tour look at these these are the Kylie fish and there was babies in here yesterday it took like a month for them to hatch um see that little tiny baby orange killifish so he's ready to go into another tank now yeah so I'll probably throw them in with the blue eyes honestly but um yeah that's basically the easy way of hatching out stuff I just put them in here and they hatch out and then when like I literally just throw them into a two foot tank and they grow out so I throw them into a tank like this this was the most recent batch yeah so I basically I just add them into a tank feed them bug Buffet every day twice a day and they're the easiest fry to raise man like they're so easy to raise after two months or so they grow up and you get a tank full of pseudomegals like these so there's for Cardis in here luminatus spotteds all sorts you can see how much the plants benefit the tanks you can just tell like this tank looks healthier than this one this plant's still in here but like this one's still got to find its balance kinda but this one's like really established itself I reckon we go and I could keep going on the breeding tanks but let's go to the grow out because I normally I always forget to show the grow out let's have a look so wait here's the first tank isn't that awesome so these are the prey Cox so got lots of them available at the moment want to feed them yeah yeah let's do it once they figure out there's food in there look at them go boom boom boom and it breaks up so everyone gets a bit like you get nice even growth throughout the whole group yeah oh that's so fun to watch they're ravenous good thing I didn't feed them earlier they're all like starving so those are the prey that you saw before we've got a really like I don't think anyone's done this in the history of specials ever we've got a car is for five dollars we've got too many look at this tank yes the blue cars I've got four tanks like this so I feed them I had too many and I was like you know what let's just give back to the people sounds cringe that sounds cringe but I mean like I don't know as a kid I would have loved like a shop to just do random specials like that and they're such good quality fish man like so yeah what else we got going on over here um I guess I can show you my uh how I've been breeding the rainbows so you know how before I was saying I've got a new method for breeding the rainbows so what I do is I'm trying to make everything just super easy so I don't want to be moving fish around like because it's so annoying like to catch out the tank and then put them into another tank I hate doing that so what I started to do was I put my breeding group of rainbows into a tank like this so this is just half empty I normally keep them full like but it doesn't matter these are my turquoise breeders so these are turquoise rainbows in here Chuck in some food hopefully they go and get it so you can see them you can see them so I'll throw them into there into the four foot tank and I'll just put a spawning mop in there like you can see here and literally all I'll do is leave them in there for 10 days take the fish out put them into the next four foot tank and I'll drain the water down to like a puddle so like in here you see here this tank is so dank and green but if you go from the top you can see it it's like just like a puddle of water and what I do is the babies start to hatch out and I just crush up food like this there's heaps of little baby pray Cooks in there and crush up food like that I put some shrimp in there too just to help clean up the excess food and the shrimp will breed in there too and all of those little baby rainbows grow up in there and as as they get bigger I just raise the water level until it's full and then they grow out to adult size these look at this how cute those are my red Ram babies so [Music] I've done the same thing with my Rams as well instead of putting them into a rearing tank like the two Footers I drain the tank down to like this level like that much in there so there's like just a puddle of water and then I just feed them like I would normally and they grow out perfectly fine and then eventually I just fill it up never have to move them and the Rams don't have to go through the stress of moving and they grow out perfectly fine I don't know if they're eating bug Buffet yet might not feed them yet because most of the time they're pretty fussy they're just like eating brine shrimp there's some Reams in here [Music] these would just be blue Rams I've got a special on them at the moment too I've got lots and lots of blue Rams available you see like a nice dirty tank you get the nice colors coming through they're like dirty tanks bro like there's nothing wrong with a dirty tank as long as it's got the the bacteria that needs in it so cool we'll look at this side there's some really cool stuff here I wanted to show you so normally I'll keep like I'll start them in a water level like this the ramps so and then there's blue Rams in here at the moment and just as they get bigger the water level just goes up and up and up until they're at the top and then by the time they're at the top they've started really growing and then yeah that's it wait look at these acaras ready ready go go go go get it get it get it I know yeah five bucks each they're normally like forty dollars right now they're five until they sell out which they're not going to sell out for a long time too many oh yeah this is the tank I want to show you so I've been like line breeding Guppies and these have been one of the most popular for me so these are the 24K Golds what I've done is this is going to be like a bit of a fun tank I've taken out like I've been selecting them and making sure they're all the nicest ones and I put two males in here with like 15 females to grow out and what's going to happen is they're going to start getting so fat and juicy I'm gonna add a ton of plants in here like heaps and heaps of pots and stuff like that and what I'm going to do is one says just tons of babies in there I'm going to take all the adults out and let them grow up and they'll be like 400 gold Guppies so I just want to see how that goes look what I called it Mass gold guppy so we'll see we'll see we'll see oh this is another one we've got a lot of Boss Manis available right now too um this is a nice tank they're they're really good size now and they're cheap as are these are like bosmani's I've been focusing on breeding them yeah come on guys you hungry they don't eat the same though I kind of like hit the top and they're really skittish on me sometimes but they'll still go for it like look at them I mean they don't get that big without eating a bit of food look at the some of them are really nice another way I keep the tanks clean is I use mystery snails so these mystery snails here like this one the reason I like them is they're really big so because they're really big you know where they are in the tank and like you know that they're in there and the other thing too is they don't they don't quite overpopulate the tank like a bladder snail or a ramshorn wood where like these guys actually lay their eggs outside of the water so I all the time I find I think they're called carapays or carapaces I find them in the tanks all the time but if I don't want snails to turn up in the tank I just take the carapace out so like oh here there's some here so like for this tank for instance like they'll come up and they'll lay their eggs on the glass like that see these have actually started to hatch out there's little snails in there see him dropping down there's yeah these are all those snail eggs see him they're freshly getting gobbled up poor buggers this Tank's gone nuts with snails because I haven't taken the carapace out but it's kind of like more controllable and they get big and I think they look nicer so yeah down here this is a cool tank so in here when I went to Glenn's place he gifted me some um some baby water lilies and they've actually started to grow have a look these are creams and peaches apparently so we'll see how they go but look at those little leaves coming up so I'm going to grow some water lilies in here that's creams and peaches that's a red tiger Lotus I think this is another creams and peaches can you see that yeah yeah dude I'm just growing them inside but also a ton of turquoise rainbows in here that need to be fed so I'll feed them see them go for it there you go look at them smashing and beautiful you know what I love is like if those um lotuses and all that all the uh lilies hit the surface of the water and create like the lily pads but how cool would it be if they start to sprout flowers yeah and I want the reason I got them is I want to use them as well in like some setups and that for like swamps in that so yeah okay so here's one of my favorite projects right now that I'm gonna I've just started so in here look at these they're like little dinosaurs these are my new Birches or bikers they're Senegal buyers so they're the most common but um I got five of them and it's actually a funny story how I got them so I was like for ages I wanted to do a video on them and funnily enough the guy who breeds him in Brisbane Andrew from Smith's aquariums he breeds heaps of them apparently he called me and he's like oh we need some bosmani's for the store and I was like well I need Birches and then we did a trade so I got these five for a bunch of osmani's and um me and Jason went together and sealed up the tank because these are terrible jumpers so you see we'll put some glass on the edges there and siliconed it so they can't jump out now can you see that yeah so they're at least safe in here and my goal is to grow them up over the next couple of years and breed them but they really love bug Buffet as well so they're just in here they're like big pet fish they're always swimming around I'm gonna do up their tanks soon I'm just at the moment just want to make sure they're all they're kind of like going through a quarantine in a way I swear they're a little bit blind I actually think they are maybe I see he's gone for the food there see how he's chewing it get it nice and close on it look at it it's like a dragon it's so fun I know I can't wait to breed them apparently they're not that hard to breed so we'll just see oh look at him he's gonna get go for the bug Buffet mess too bad I can't keep shrimp with them bro they'd absolutely smash the shroom yeah look at him all having a bite to eat I can't wait to like see some eggs out of them apparently they get huge too like I've seen like imagine like five of them like big big sausages up here these are the koi angels I think we've picked out the best of these so far in this batch see how good the Crips are doing too but these I don't know I don't know where I'm at with angels they're really they're easy to breed but the problem is I over produce them because they're just they make too many it's the same with the um the blue acaras so I like koi Angels because no one's really breeding them but these are the veil tail ones I really want to work on getting like that super red koi look that you know Dean had from his room so yeah I don't know I've got a better group over there which I'll show you in a second these are another I've got too many projects going on but these are a local bread by me uh the like the first local breads I've seen gold balloon Ram I somehow lucked out and got a batch and now I've got local bread ones and I'm hopefully going to keep reading them this is my only batch I've got so I've just been growing them out but I'm thinking I will be real popular you know everyone's got their opinions on short-bodied fish I think having a short-bodied fish with high mortality rates and issues like that probably isn't ethical but like these have been super easy and like they don't have random deaths like they're just Dwarfs so you know like I don't think it's actually that inhumane and they look cool and people like the look some people don't like that unnatural look and that's fine but everyone's got a taste and who am I to say what people should like so down here these are one of the the coolest rainbows you can get uh they are probably impossible to collect because they're from like a war-torn area in New Guinea like you probably get killed if you go there sort of Vibes they're um the sex learning artists so they get pink lips and they look really cool so I've got them going in here they're gonna be hard to see I'll give them some food to try and concentrate them I'll drop some pellets down at the bottom I know hey aren't they cool there you go eat yeah super fun I love them but another cool thing is this plant so I went to a creek nearby and I found this plant growing in the bottom of it and I put it in a pot and look how well it's growing it's a uh I think it's called waterwork it's um it's a it's an Australian native plant and I've just put it in a pot and it's actually growing really well so I think it looks super cute too but don't you reckon look at it yeah it really stands out it's a nice yellowy green well I'm colorblind so can't say that for sure but yeah one of the coolest hacks here at the moment these are the huge bosmani's I have so these are what started off all the bosmani's in the room I do have their babies available right now but I've been breeding a ton of them ready to be crazy I love feeding this tank Isn't that cool I know it's so fun they've got their babies next door the other thing too that's done really well look at the ball bite us it looks like a dinosaur plant I'm thinking of putting this in with the bishas now you're looking that'd be so fun yeah I know put that dinosaur looking Fern in there with the bishas oh it looks so cool down here you can see the banana leaves dude that's what I should do I should do banana leaves do banana leaves because they look like tropical and like ancient looking I don't know don't you reckon as a Botanical yeah do these with the fern and like a ton of volcanic rock with the biases would look really cool but this is a cherry shrimp breeding tank the cherry shrimp takeover started there's some babies popping up now on that piece of wood I'm just using this to grow out my future peppermint breeders and I've also got some baby super red some growing out to breed in the future but yeah like in this tank see there's a peppermint there they're so elusive bro it's so hard to see them little buggers there's more down here this is like the exact same down here see that peppermint there [Music] I'm also using this specific tank to breed these are the fire reds which I'm starting up see you next to there there's those common whiptails and there's a fire red shrimp can you see the common whiptails how well they blend in yeah I know so I'm just kind of leaving this tank really dirty I'm just gonna wait and see where the baby uh whip Tails start popping up in here I reckon they're going to love it in here because it's so dirty and like amazonian-like you got all that wood in there I'm kind of hoping one day I just come in I'm like oh this baby baby whip towels in here I reckon I'll be really cool if that happens yeah but yeah I just feed these tanks by Buffet too and they love it as well like look at the pothos going nuts now or starting up and oh down here we've got the threadfin rainbows so these were one that I've just I've actually had success with them um but I haven't been able to take over with them yet so I bought 10 got sold all females and then Darcy came and clutched my friend and he said oh you can have two of my males and that started up what these babies are so have a look at them the males just look so good when they color up funny thing is they're actually really hard to feed but this bug Buffet because it breaks up into little particles they can actually eat it so I feed them a lot of brine shrimp and Bug Buffet but yeah this is actually a breeding tank so I've raised them up they take a long time to get to breeding size and now I've got a huge group of them in here and the goal is to hopefully breed them so there should be I'm hoping there's eggs starting to pop up I don't know yet though I haven't checked a lot of projects going on here so I never know really what's going on like oh there's an egg there it's infertile but yeah I know it's a fitness fertilized ones next to it dude yes good they've got the tiniest rainbow like these these babies I reckon they're on par with the hillstream Loach babies in like tininess they're so tiny so yeah see these are just random angels I bred next door it's too easy to make Angels sometimes the problem is they over breed so like yeah it's easy to flood the market and kind of yeah defeats the point and the problem is I don't really have enough grow out space for them I would say like I prefer to put them in like a big container outside they do heaps better but yeah also up here look at these These are the baby bosmani's so you can see can you actually see them yeah so that's how I've been raising them up and then I just drop a bit of food on the top and there's blue shrimp in here so they'll clean up all the particles that they don't eat just works out really well that way there's another tank in here there's actually heaps in here there's just too dirty I didn't want to clean it up and disrupt them but all the baby bosmani's in there and here's the nice coins I was talking about so what I'm thinking of doing is I see that one there it's got like lots of red well not red like that yellow on its body I'm gonna maybe select out the ones with the most yellow and black maybe try and breathe them again and see if I can't keep that yellow going through and through and through because the problem with a lot of these koi Angels is they throw blushing they throw like all these different things in there so like a kind of they're not really the desired traits they don't be true so I might have a go with it I don't know down here more turquoise babies is gonna be impossible to see but this method for raising them UPS worked out really well so if someone can learn from that then I'll be super happy more Rams in here these are all ready to go to their new homes there's super red Rams in here as well as blue Rams you can actually see the difference see the red ram versus the blue Ram red red red it's actually a lot of Reds there's only a few Blues in there I'll put some specific food in there they love the bug Buffet such a fun tank I've grown them up to a massive size now too so if I'm being honest I actually forgot about this batch because they're down the bottom so like the tank was just like so dirty this morning I wiped it off I was like oh there's Rams in there these are confirmed super red Rams they just need to grow up a little bit more I took my future brood stock out of this group so it's actually a really good line they don't look red yet they need to grow up a little bit more but they're definitely super red Rams and I go Kawaii something about feeding fish the most fun part of it especially when you bread them yeah this is kind of cool I mean in here these are just bosmani rainbows but there's more Crypts in these pots but what I do is when I set up the pot I put a little root Tab and it's funny because the Crips kind of do nothing for like two months and then eventually that little that Taproot hits the root Tab and then they start to just explode like look at this one like this one's just started I reckon it's just hit it but I just love it it just adds such another element to each tank where you get to look at it and you're like yeah like plants are growing I don't know it's fun but these all hungry buggers isn't that funny too many fish man too many who ready watch this watch this ready go go get it they love it I love how they just sit at the front waiting because it's like too green they can't see anything else so they just look out the front and wait for me to feed them but look at this plant that's growing up the top I've got this randomly I don't I think it's like a silver pothos but it's actually started to go really nice look at the massive Leaf there yeah not cool I've got a cool Plant over here that I can show you I brought this bad boy back from Cairns we found it at a park and it's apparently it's a native Australian plant it's kind of like a monstera but it started like I had like this much on it like it was barely alive because I just chucked in my suitcase and these are the original leaves but look it started to grow little baby leaves I'm going to hopefully grow up up this like up here and imagine if it just takes over the whole rack how cool I'll be because the good thing is like I reckon in like a year's time like all these plants because I've almost like I've been cutting them and trying to get the cuttings everywhere but now that I've got nowhere to put the cuttings so I just got to leave the plants grow I reckon it's going to look like a jungle in here bro this is one of the nicest tanks look at this peace lily has taken over look at the roots so I'll put two look at the top see that piece literally it's growing nuts but the little pray Cooks in here love it there's actually a funny story about this line of prey Cox so it comes from Jason but he gave me four of them and he was telling me these are the original line that came in in the 80s I think someone paid like 10 grand for five fish for the original pay clocks back in the 80s so like you can imagine how much that was now just to get this cool fish into Australia but apparently this line came from Gunter shmita who was like the OG rainbow fish photographer so I do have these available down below um they're all on bug Buffet gone nuts for it but yeah if you want like the true well like it's not confirmed but like I'm 95 sure that these would be good to schmitters fish so look at them they're definitely the nicest precogs I've seen I stopped I had this other line going that I got from like a pet shop I stopped that line just to breed only this one yeah [Music] gold guppy babies down here this was for a video I was doing and hopefully I get to continue doing the video but I lost all the footage on my hard drive I had a hard drive mouth malfunction and I lost a bunch of footage so I've just got a tank of Guppies now but you can see look at the plants bro this is like the tropica so like when you buy plants right A lot of them are immersed grown and you wouldn't even know it but this Leaf belongs to the same plant look at these two leaves see that leaf there and that leaf that's the immersed ground leaf and that's the submerse grown Leaf people don't know that hey like look at this Leaf died back because it's grown immersed so like your plants when you grow them in their pots and they've been grown out of the water like their leaves die like this one here and you actually have to wait for the plant to settle in before it starts going nuts so yeah they've all started to really grow in well look at the roots from the Philadelphia entrant but yeah up here this is um this is a project I've got to start I've got given these Dragon Guppies a while back I've only got a trio in here this is a female she's going to drop any day but they're one of the nicest looking guppies look at the males down there it's going to be tricky to see them oh come on buddy yeah that's a dragon guppy so I'm going to try and do some of them yeah it's so cool hey yeah I've been really focused on the Guppies look at these down here more quarries this Crypt here is a huge Crypt I've got given it by Jason that one's settling look at that new Leaf coming up I know how cool does it look but look at all the the quarries [Music] dude I've got Corey's for days this Tank's really dirty because I emptied a bunch of moss into it and the Moss had um soil in it so made the tank super dirty but the quarries don't care wait you might think there's only a few Quarries in here ready [Music] come on guys yeah in here so remember how I was showing you before I was showing you the uh Hill stream Loach tank this is the original one so this is the one I did the video on and what I did was I took all the rocks out and I put these tiles in and they're really hard to catch these Hill stream loaches there must be a few in here I instantly sold out of hillstream roaches when I had them online but um I put the tiles in and you can see they stick to the tiles like that how funny is that little baby Hill stream loach and they stick to the tiles so what I do when I need to catch them out is I just put the tile in a net and then they all fall into the net yeah but that's how I've been raising them up so that was the first batch there's still probably like 50 in there but I'm just trying to keep my numbers up just in case something happens so the second I start seeing babies out of the next batch I'll start to resell these again these are the uban Angie swamp spotted blue eyes I collected these myself these are my f1s now so you can see I picked out the nicest ones see the males how good they look I called them the Snow Whites it sounds cringe I just wanted to separate my line from the other ones because you never know like you can find different locales all over the place these have really white fins and a nice yellow body and I got really long white fins so I think the name's fitting I've got some of them available down below I've got a really cool video going out and collecting them which was like honestly so fun so we collected them in cans and then he sent them down to Brisbane so and then I started the line from there so it's kind of fun they're really cool fish oh we haven't even talked about rice fish yet man oh my goodness oh so we've got a lot of rice fish so in here these are all the tiger rice fish that I've been breeding there's some platinums in there too basically with the rice fish all I do is I've got a couple of tanks with like the parents in them and they lay their eggs and I just throw the mops in tanks like you can see here this is a recent batch they're a little bit smaller but like the parents will lay their eggs in these and I just throw them in the tank and they hatch out like as you can see it's super easy to breed I got platinums I got tigers and blacks and I'll show you the parents later but yeah they need some food up here as well a bit of a dirty tank they're so easy to breed man like so easy down here this is my successful pygmy Quarry tank [Applause] so you can see there's always a couple of eggs right here they're honestly so elusive I barely see them unless I sit away from the tank and start looking at it there's an egg there in here like it doesn't look like it there's a hundred fish at least if we lift up this mop you might start to see them come on guys see him oh yeah yeah so I've got a video coming out for this soon so Super Fun Fish easy peasy to breed all you need to do I feed him like I feed everything bug Buffet I feed them that and it helps the babies to get something to eat keep them in a nice tank like this couple of rocks for them to hide under Sponge Filter the plants up the top help a lot too believe them they just start to breathe look at the eggs there too yeah this tank actually looks really cool like the Java fan and the Rocks I love this Moon Rock I call it Moon Rock the moon rock looks so cool like that that nice volcanic look and in the tannins like it just looks so natural but the roots coming down chef's kiss love it these tanks have some of my coolest projects going on in them right now so these you know how I was talking about the Honeys before these were part of the same group of fish that you're now allowed to sell these are Miranda gold rainbows they might not look like anything yet and I don't have any adults to show you because I borrowed someone's adults I've borrowed Darcy's I think but when they color up gosh they look cool you know one of the coolest dwarf rainbows you can get so I've been breeding these up just to get them out in the market I think they should be more popular the males just look so nice honestly I think they look more like orange then they do look gold but the name helps them sell so they're called melanda gold rainbows and um yeah I've actually seen where they come from too so I'd love to get back up there and film it when it's not like we went when it was raining and we couldn't film it but going up maybe in the dry season and filming them in the wild would be so cool all right down here look at this another horde of panda quarries some bug Buffet incoming [Music] go go get it get it get it they're not as ravenous hey it's once they figure it out yeah we've got so many panda corys available right now yeah yeah they're cool hey go for the food [Music] you like ants yeah a little bit nice so up here we've got these are really cool these were actually collected in salt water so outside of national park by a friend and these are the Morton RADS so I don't know anyone that's got them at the moment it's gonna be hard for me to show you how good they look they've got the stripy pattern red outside fins but a blue sheen and it looks amazing once they really color up they've just been put into this tank to breed so I had to grow them up from babies and now they're finally ready to breed yeah you can see the color's actually there you're doing a good job these are actually captive bread but I had to get them as babies and yeah I want to get these breeding and get them out to the market I've got at the moment Tijuana Creeks Snapper Creeks I collected Snappers myself which was really fun now I've got these ones so yeah RADS should be more popular I don't know why they're not a really cool little Rainbow Fish this is another project here in these four tanks that is kind of frustrating I'm hoping I can get the footage back but I don't know yet I had all these projects banked up on this hard drive and like I just it fell off my desk and whatever it broke and now it's very expensive to get it fixed and we don't know if we can recover the footage but this is a really cool video this is a project I've wanted to do for a long time but didn't have the tank space and this is cross-breeding shrimp and seeing what happens and we're like quite a ways into this project now and we're starting to see results so basically what I did is I took four I think three different colors shrimp mix them all together and you can see in here we started to breed them so in here this is a a crossed together blue and orange shrimp and you can see we're starting to get some orange release out of them okay sample like all the different colors that start to come out there's some clear ones there's all sorts of shrimp coming out so I'm gonna let this experiment go for a long time you can see some like really wild looking ones at the back like look at these yeah they've got like a tiger pattern they're like the wild type I'd call them so that came out as well the wild type shrimp and then you've got your release like this is a really technically orange really and yeah they've been breeding up a storm these are the yellow and red I actually didn't get a great mix here I've only seen red babies so interesting these are bloody mary shrimp for sure look at them brown base come here yeah see they're all red this one's orange and red they actually did better so but again I'm not getting like any Wacky Shrimp coming out of it it's old normal stuff these all started from like 10 trim so I've got those and then I didn't show these ones these are the blue and yellows these have been thrown in weird things look at this these are all wild types coming out carbon really like look at that thing it's like a shadow shadow shrimp look at him Shadow shrimp eh [Music] he's riding my finger looking at him he can dance yeah look at this one light blue what a freaky looking shrimp anyways there you go you might get in there yeah light blue it's just Skittles tanks of just random shrimp for fun [Music] so up here this is another tank um of pygmy quarries coming slowly you'll see them they're a little bit less elusive they're at the original group funny thing is I was harvesting out of this tank I think there's babies in here I've seen a few eggs and stuff like that some are too worried I had a blue shrimp in here and I wasn't getting that many blue shrimp and then I was harvesting out the babies and now the blue shrimp are breeding more than the pygmy Gories are there's like so many Baby Blue Room shrimp in here like where are they I don't know in b-roll there's like hundreds so they're just really good at hiding because there's lots of spaces like if you look on that leaf you'll see a few just picking up a biofilm on that leaf can you see him yeah it's like it's just cute so they're a real good like co-breeder in a way like they'll both breed together really well and these are the Dumbo ears Guppies [Music] one baby that's come out I just added some more hiding spaces so hopefully I'll get more but look at that male Platinum red-tailed Dumbo here that's a cool looking guppy for my hand [Music] there you go and look at this the Lidia interesting plant that's that look at this one this one's hit the root tab it's gone ballistic yeah I know [Music] and then up here look at this Pearl weeds definitely hit the root tab 100 that's hit the root Tab and look at all the baby these are ficadas and red neon blue eyes up in the in the top of the tank can you see them all yeah yeah and ready this is why the bug Buffet is so good for him you go enjoy guys off they go so these here are some RADS mixed in with the um there's some thread pins in there too you see the color of the rods really coming out the interesting thing about some of those RADS around Tin Can Bay is like when you breed them you get blue you get red you get red and Blues it's not really predictable I've seen red ones in here the reds are way more rare than the blues for sure but yeah I've gotta probably take the fish out of this tank now but yeah there they go there's more thread fins up here I don't know if you can see them better now you see him kinda up here these are more luminatus but you see this is like the stage in between so these would have been in here for a couple of weeks now and they're actually starting to eat baby Brian shrimp Crush that up for them and I'll go to town on it yeah they just love it so good for him and then down the bottom I've got some blue shrimp and stuff and they just clean the tank so these are super unsuspecting right now just because they're so small me and Jason went up and visited our friend Leonard and collected some fish two chances these would be six months ago these are the uchiensis so they're only babies in here right now I took them in and bred them and then Jason took the rest to photograph and to keep so I'm just gonna keep my babies and breed them from here they're really cool looking rainbow fish yeah I think these should be a little bit more popular too it's just they only look really good when they color up which is kind of a limiting factor so you know compared to a prey Cox they're not going to be like that popular but it's kind of cool take fish make your own line with them in here these are a breeding tank of yellow cherry shrimp so these I've really tried to pick out the yellowest and I actually haven't fed this tank for a month but look at the babies on the on the bottom they've really started to go and you know what the fix was I stopped feeding them and they just started only at the biofilm and they're just done so well since then down here these are why you should buy for cardis look at him isn't it cool those are fully grown these are my original broodstock and that's the alpha male there and that's that's why this is such a cool fish so yeah just got these available online but yeah look at the Autos I'm gonna breed autos at some point so I'm growing out some autos I've actually got something I can show you guys in a sec with the autos wait this is actually a fun idea for people who want to do the same thing with the plants I thought this would be a really cool idea is if people you know you're always throwing out jars I thought oh well why not just use the jars to pop the plants so you can see I potted a crypt in here and look we'll take her out so it's grown real nice at the top there it's got a bit of mold or whatever can you see it but look at the bottom you can see that tap Roots come in and soaked up the you can see what's soaking up the nutrients yeah it's just interesting to see I want to see it get all root Bound in there so I'll put it back just a windy but in here there's um a rare rare rare rainbow that we also collected Kansas sees the Cairns rainbow fish not super popular um but very hard to come by so same thing with the uchiensis as the Cairns rainbows I gave the rest to Jason and I just bred them up I got like 10 babies so I'll use these to start my line and Jason can take care of the other ones but they're a cool fish for sure I think they should be more popular they look like a Madagascar rainbow the tiger madakas so you can see the colors there that's why they're called tigers look at the black stripe there's a lot of work left to do with them like I want to make them look really really good they have a bug Buffet can you see him there yeah so what I'll do is I'll throw these spawning mops in there I'll just take them out every couple of days and they're covered in eggs see him yeah so easy to breed this fish and then I just take these eggs in the mop I just throw the mop into another tank and hatch out the babies that way but yeah super fun these are cool the tenderless so these are another type of blue eye not many people know about they're super elusive for some reason they lay tiny eggs but the males look so cool they're called the golden blue eye panels they're from Northern Territory I'd love to someday just collect a bunch of these and bring them back and start up another line because yeah I've not got any babies for sale yet I've got babies of them but they should be more popular for sure like they're a really cool fish oh these are cool the red grass Guppies so you know the Bluegrass I've shown you before these are the same but red you see that mail there yeah I know hey I only got a pair I've got gifted them by a gnat and I've read them there's little babies up the top there so Guppies are just fun so easy so fun down here these are my F1 luminatus just come in and stick the camera on the tank you'll see them that's why luminators are popular they don't even look that good in here but when they get into a planter tank it's like game over so I pick out eggs out of here and love a look really quickly it's so easy to breed I don't know why more people don't keep them they should be so much more popular I've made countless videos about them now so I've done my bit quick look see oh there you go see three there one two three four can you see him not really yeah so you just collect those out and hatch them out like I showed you before I always keep the lid on this tank they jump so much oh these are a cool shrimp that I want to keep really getting out I've stopped feeding this tank too these are snowball shrimp yeah they're super popular every time I've had them for sale they sell out so I've got to really build my numbers up with them but there's actually tiny babies in here but the reason they're called snowball shrimp they don't look like anything crazy right now they're just like a white shrimp like when the females become buried with eggs and saddled the eggs look like little snowballs in their clear pods so it's really cool and um that's what makes them popular and special so yeah added some crushed Coral in there for them and this tank just needs time to settle in before they absolutely take over so we're getting towards the end now in here these are just kind of like more casual tanks I use these for slight quarantine and Casual breeding up here these are some more Guppies um these are my what are these metal snakeskin gold base they've actually done really well for me I've got to take these parents out and put them into another tank and select out my next Generation before they start to interbreed you can see the young males starting to come out now so there's a heap of Guppies in there now though and there's some fat fat females but yeah I just feed this whole tank bug Buffet and all the everyone gets to eat it so down here these are some local bread Neons I've grown out to adult size I'm gonna try and breed them for a future video but there's also a ton of Auto syncless and the way I brought these in I only I bought 50 and I only lost one and they're all wild caught and you know what the trick was I had a super dirty tank and I threw them in there and they cleaned it up in a day so their guts got filled up with you know because they're super fussy eaters and that's why people lose them they filled up on natural algae and they just smashed it but then I transferred them onto my new food which I haven't released yet and it's in this jar and it's like an algae stick so I'm quite finished it yet and I've just been playing around with it so I fed them the natural algae and then I fed them this so it's very similar to bug Buffet but it's an algae based food and instead of it being like it's crushable but it's very firm like you can't just say crush it like a bug Buffet it still crushes but it's just a stick and you just throw it in and it sinks to the bottom and the good thing about this food is when it sinks it starts to break down down the bottom kind of like shrimp snow but you can see it it does break up really well so it still breaks up and everyone gets to have a little bit of those particles and the ingredients are amazing I can't talk about them yet because we're still perfecting them the ingredients are that good and I reckon this food is going to be the best thing to feed your algae eaters for sure like I've been feeding all my bristle knows it and the autos and the true test is going to be the reason I bought these Autos is I want to breed them so if I can breed them and raise the babies up on this food I think it'll be game over so we'll hopefully be able to do that but yeah down here you can see we've got some more autos and we're also culturing more plants so these are all Crypts here yet to reach the root Tab and do this ocelot sword 100 hit the root tab look at it it's gone nuts so yeah these plants all had snails on them so I throw them in these tanks and then I put a Loach in the tank and the Loach helps to eat the snails and quarantine them from snails so that's a good way of getting rid of them just have like a quarantine tank for all your your plants and your Driftwood and stuff like that because I just don't want snails in here man like only one mystery snails and maybe a couple of rabbit's foots and that's it these are a really cool guppy we saw these at Glenn's they've just started to really breed for me the Target king cobras I've really got to do my part to make sure that we breed a ton of them they are one of the best looking Guppies out there yeah I love the tiger pattern on the females as well you know so slowly breeding them up but yeah talking about tigers have a look at these Jason gave me these these are the tiger inlets I got these on on the website too some of them got that nice flame tail the fire Tails whatever you want to call them and I've also got some lilies growing in here so these are look at that little Lotus Leaf coming up how cute hey Jason gave me those there's some more little leaves coming up here little baby lotuses I love lotuses I can't wait till they're all hit the surface and take over these here are just African water lilies in with the red swordtails they're just from a pond see they're starting to grow as well a little water lilies so I want to see how they all go I've never grown them before look at this one's gone nuts too I haven't can't touch this one look at those little new leaves I know I can't it's cool to know you can grow them indoors so so these a customer brought in I've never played with them before and I'm gonna have a go at breeding them the palafina better they're apparently they're a mouth brooder so they get quite big these aren't at Max size and they're very jumpy but I'm gonna have a go at breeding them apparently they're not as aggressive um and I've got to do some more research on them they're like a wild better so they're part of the same family as your normal Siamese Fighters but yeah I I don't know a lot about them and that's kind of the cool thing to have in the shop people like oh you want these and I'm like sure let me trade some food or whatever and um get to try out something fun so yeah I'm Keen have a go at them I must I've got to do a video on them these as well if you guys want to come buy some local Neons these are all from a local farm so no Neon Tetra disease there's some albino ones in there as well you want to see why my Neons are so healthy it's because I quarantine them in dirty tanks isn't that such a cool thing even these guys I feed them the algae food too and they still love it so give them some algae food but yeah I spend a lot of time working on my Neons and trying to make sure that they're always healthy and people don't get that Neon Tetra disease like look at that pretty cool tank isn't it you know they're just Neons but it's always cool to see getting close with that have fun I know hey if you like feeding fish this video is for you [Music] oh it's so cool but yeah I kind of kind of wraps up everything that I wanted to talk about I mean it's a long video there's one more thing I wanted to show you before we end and that's future plans so this area it's kind of been unused for a long time you got the fish food here we've still got a package up I'm actually going to build a shrimp rack here so I've got the plans to build uh a bunch of 10 gallon tanks here I think we're going to be able to fit like 50 of them here I'm going to get Dave and Quentin back we're going to do a really cool video but we're building a big workbench here so we can do all the packing and all that stuff and then we're gonna have tanks underneath it and we'll have more tanks up here as well and my plan is just to breed a ton of emblers and Guppies and just you know just have a ton of fish and just you know it's dead space I'd love to use it for something cool so but yeah you'll have to stay tuned for that but yeah anyways I can I completely talked out so thanks for watching this video guys I'm really appreciate all the support and I'll see you guys in the next video
