30 Things that Don't Make Sense in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

how come these two Contraptions will give you the exact same height despite one of them having 18 Rockets while the other only has one or why is it that the flames on a flame emitter don't get put out when you're spraying water on it like this fire goes through everything tears of the Kingdom might just be the greatest switch game ever but today let's apply some real life logic into this game and look at some things that don't make sense in it how come with this electric emitter over here you can stand right next to it holding a metal weapon and Visually see an electric current going on it yet you don't get electrocuted but if you drop your sword in the same spot and even go near it then you get electrocuted how are some of these items so strong when you fuse them together like I can just attach a bunch of eggs to one another and then attach a heavy box onto the egg chain and it'll hold up the box like what kind of secret egg power is this now how are you supposed to crack one of these eggs open if they're this strong when you activate a fan on the ground it stays in place but why is it that as soon as you lift it up only then it moves back from the power of the fan and don't tell me it's the friction of the ground because the fan could be on Ice even and it still doesn't move how are there these massive lakes in the sky islands that are constantly spilling their water source over the edge not even a small leak or something but multiple waterfalls draining gallons of water yet somehow the Lakes don't dry up do they have a secret infinite water supply how come link can't take these veggies in hatteno Village since when you try to this text bubble suddenly appears saying how the farmers made them with great care like what is this link suddenly has a conscience or something now as if he doesn't take random items and breaks stuff throughout the rest of the game but veggies no that's where he draws the line how can link survive any fall from any height as long as he's just climbing on another object yeah I got nothing for this one look at this Insanity falling all the way from the sky islands without a scratch what are the trees made of in this game like you can create a whole forest fire but the only thing that won't burn are the trees unless that is if you cut the trees into sticks only then they'll burn but the tree enemy his weakness is fire and he can burn until that is you kill him then his dead body can't be burned unless that is you chop it up into sticks again now someone explain that one to me how are horses like the most sturdy object in this entire game you can attach a literal jet engine rocket ship to the back of him and the horse doesn't move at all he doesn't Flinch even he's so common fact like he has to deal with this all the time how come when you're Shield surfing with a fan Zone eye device you don't get any more height or elevation at all but if you use one fan and attach a control panel to it now you can gain elevation how is link able to always go back to the land that he started from after he drowned it's already kinda odd how he survives drowning in the first place but fine maybe he drifts back ashore but what I'm not having is how he can jump off the sky islands land directly in a lake drown in it and wake up right back in the sky islands link has a pretty incredible ability to store all these items in his bags sure but did you ever realize how fast he can put those items in his bag just look at him take all these zonai devices and stuff him in there in less than a second that's incredible he's like the most efficient Factory conveyor belt worker I've ever seen imagine him working in one of those places what are the NPCs made of in this game I can shoot a whole flamethrower at them and they only seem mildly annoyed at the fact just look at Pera how does she survive this one jeez why am I doing all the fighting in this game when everyone else is indestructible when you use a rocket on your Shield you get launched up in the air so okay these Rockets are powerful when and turned on but given that how come if you use them on a spear then turn them on you don't move at all you can clearly see the thrusters are working but links now like a God and doesn't get pulled by the Rockets how come the flame emitter can break if you fuse it to your Shields when normally this thing can last forever if you just carry it around why even attach it to your Shield at this point it somehow makes this device even weaker so when I'm high up in the Hebrew mountains it's all snowy and things can't grow here right so then how come when you go to the sky islands right above this place where the temperature drops even lower it's nothing like hebra there's no snow at all somehow and look even plants are growing here even though we're at a higher altitude our links Shields able to block anything like bombs more specifically you can make an entire pile of bomb flowers and totally survive the blast with a tiny Board of wood or screw it let's stand in this big group of bombs and boom not a scratch at the very start of this game link loses all of his Hearts from that evil creatures evil magic thing and yeah I can get behind that but how does link lose all of his stamina bars too like does he forcefully make link eat unhealthy or go on a bad diet like how does one reduce someone else's stamina how is link able to lift all these super heavy objects when he uses the fuse ability like normally he can barely push this metal box or he can't push this spike ball at all but suddenly he can easily carry both when he fuses them to his gear when you swim you drain stamina and that makes perfect sense but then how come when you swim up waterfalls not only do you not drain stamina but you actually replenish your stamina like what this is infinitely more work than just swimming normally yet link is somehow at rest gaining stamina why does the Blood Moon Rising suddenly just stop when you're talking to an NPC seriously is your conversation so important that the literal Universe has to stop and the orbit of planets just pauses while you talk how come you don't get burned by a zonai cooking pot but you do with a normal one and don't give me it's some zonai magic or something because look there's clearly blue flames under it and this food still requires heat to make why does this shop increase their prices to thousands of dollars for the clothes I get it your grandma is sick or whatever but this is terrible business you'll get no sales now because everyone is just gonna shop somewhere else instead of paying these ludicrous prices when you hit a solid object you actually freeze for a sec when you hit it so when you stand between these four solid pumpkins how come you move at like four frames per second now well I guess it's because you keep hitting these objects which stop you for a bit so it kind of does make sense but I just found this amusing and wanted to show you look at link right now just soaring straight down through the sky like an absolute bullet he is generating all this speed but suddenly nope just like that he pulls out this tiny little glider and can stop all that momentum and speed instantly without getting hurt if you put meat next to a fire it Cooks it but how come if you put frozen meat next to a fire it disintegrates the thing I get cooking frozen food isn't ideal but it shouldn't dissolve like that there's even ice in this game that does melt next to a fire so why doesn't it just go back to normal meat whenever you look at the inside of the shrines from the outside you'll see this pretty standard room with the staircase in it but then how come when you enter the shrine the layout is always different there's a fire on the side of this one or the other Shrine has a totally different layout so I don't know where this first room is what is with this zonai dispenser they all store their precious zonai device technology in a giant gumball machine really I don't know how they even fit all of these devices in the dispenser first of all but then just really there's not a more effective way to store them as you know you can take pictures with the Pura Pad but you ever wonder who's actually taking your photo in selfie mode you can even rotate 360 Degrees around link or zoom in and out all while being noticeably far from the
