appears to be a bumper crop of chestnuts this year [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] when I first ran this few MS 362 I was very impressed however it just keeps getting better and better when they tell you that you know you need to run five or six or even ten tanks of fuel through it until it really starts cranking they're not joking each time I run it it gets faster and runs better every time I'm sure it's gonna level off somewhere but that's a great saw it's nice and light it's got tons of power and it's fast [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so welcome back everyone Mike here it is a beautiful evening here in western Pennsylvania so I'm not cutting a little bit of firewood it's kind of warm but I don't mind but anyway today's video is actually not about firewood it's called the truth about our K tractors now these types of videos I'm really not a big fan of doing I don't mean I don't dislike them I just enjoy doing videos on you know projects and things I'm doing around the property more so than just standing in front of a camera talking but anyway I keep getting asked the same question over and over again so once in a while you know I like to do a video like this just to kind of set the record straight clear the air and everybody knows what's going on so the same question I keep getting and I got this three times in just the last week it'll go something like this Mike what is your honest opinion of the art K tractors now before I get into that let me say a couple things oh I know there's new people that join the channel every day so if you don't know this story I'm going to try to run through it as quickly as I can back in April of 2017 there's a big store around here called rural King they sell farm equipment tractor attachments stuff for your house I mean they sell everything really food I mean tools chickens apple trees you can buy anything there but anyway back in April 2017 they started selling these arcade tractors and these tractors are made by tym branded RK inspect 2rk they've got a lot of options on them and they all come like that with rear remotes loaded rear tires on you know this one in the 55 if you have a loader on it I mean there's a ton of options on these tractors and they all come standard that way so anyway roll King starts selling the tractors in April 2017 then in I think November last year or something like that and in November early December I'm not even sure but somebody reached out to me on our Facebook page sent me a private message and it's RK tractor guy that you see comments in some of the videos and things they kicked the idea around of getting me some tractors to use for two years they're not my tractors but I can use them here on the property and a whole bunch of attachments see how I like them it gets them exposure and it allows me to get a lot more done on the property because it's more equipment than I could ever afford if I was just you know buying it all so that whole process took a couple months I wanted to see the tractors first I didn't even know they sold tractors till probably two three weeks before they even reached out to me so I went looked at him I was impressed I liked everything that I saw bottom and so we came to an agreement it's a pretty simple agreement basically how you get to use this stuff for two years the only thing I have to do is be honest in my opinions and that's what I do in every video one thing that I think I need to do a little bit better at is and I don't know how to say this a lot of times I think I'm trying to like curb my enthusiasm a little bit okay because I know if I come out here and I'm saying things like this is the greatest tractor ever and I'll never say that because I haven't run them all but if I'm all excited and upbeat and say this is fantastic how well this tractor doesn't that you'll get the haters I don't want to deal with it you know all you're just saying that because they gave you the tractors so I think that's the only thing that I should do more of is be a little bit more open about how I really feel about these tractors so I think if I do that maybe a lot of those questions like give me your honest opinion I think people might just get it in the videos so I'm going to go through a few things here that might help you understand how I really feel about these tractors now first we'll start with the art k24 you've seen if you watch this channel you've seen that tractor in a lot of videos and I think you know how I feel about that tractor I love that little tractor I have never had a subcompact before so I can't compare it to anything else but it's fast it's powerful it's very agile you can get in and out of tight places with it and especially my favorite part about that tractor is the autothrottle and I don't even know if other sub compacts have that but for loader work and things like that the autothrottle is the greatest thing in the world on a tractor I love it and I heard a few people say oh I don't like that I I have no idea why someone would not like an auto throw it on a tractor especially doing loader work and if you don't know what an auto throttle is is you push down you know it's Hydra stats oh you push down on say the forward pedal the harder you push on it the engine RPMs go up so when you're like easing into something and you're backing up to something ready to drop a rear blade you're slowing down the RPMs go down as soon as you mash it the pm's go up it just works perfectly but anyway the art k24 I've done videos on what you know how much that thing lifts you've seen me digging french drains and doing all sorts of backhoe work with it loader work with it it's a great little tractor and I couldn't be happier with it like I said I can't compare it to anything else I have no idea I'd never had another subcompact before but I'm telling you straight up it's a great little tractor next up is the I'm going to go to the art k55 I'm going to skip this RK 37 and get back to that the RK 55 it has met my expectations and what I mean is I never had a fifty five horsepower tractor it's pretty much what I expected it to be the one thing that stands out though is the cab on that tractor it's very quiet it's sealed up nice there's no rattles there's no shakes nothing like that it's got a ton of power very comfortable to operate trying to think what else I like about the RK 55 it's just got tons of power you know you hook a seven-foot box blade to the back of it rip up an old driveway that's been packed down for 30 years no problem at all so that's my take on the art k55 now the art k37 here behind me I got a lot to say about it and the reason is this I I ran several kabuto over the years and the elf 3901 is a good comparison in size to this arcade 37 so I can at least compare them you know a little bit between those two tractors the Kubota is a great tractor never had any problems besides safety switches and things like that I'd have you know I had a lot of troubles with that the RK 37 I haven't had any problems with anything but this tractor here behind me it just lifts so much for its size at the beginning of this video that big red oak log that log is about 16 inches at the bottom and about 12 or 13 inches at the end and it's 16 feet long was what that was before I cut it up that grapple on this tractor is actually made designed for the RK 55 that's about a 500 pound grapple that for thirty seven horsepower tractor it's unbelievable it really is it's stable it feels good trying to think what else but the lifting capacity is just what blows me away on this one I've used this you know for tilling box blade mostly fire wouldn't have used this tractor for it does get around the woods a little bit better than the RK 55 it's just smaller not a lot smaller but it's just a little bit more maneuverable through the trees so I really like this tractor too so like I said I haven't had one problem with any of the tractors I don't want what people expect me to say if something happens I'll be happy to tell you about it but so far so good I haven't had a bit of trouble with any of them and I'm just kind of looking forward to getting back to more videos of me actually doing things and I hope this gives you some understanding of my thoughts on these tractors but one thing I am gonna do better if there's something I'm really impressed about I'm just gonna say it you know I don't care what the haters say whatever you know they can say oh you're just saying that because they gave you the tractors if you don't think that this tractor lifts like way more than a Kubota l-39 oh one bring one over hook this six-foot 500-pound grapple to it and try picking up that log ain't no way it's gonna happen I know I only talk about things that I'm sure of you know there are people out there that do you know reviews on tractors or and things like that who never even sat in the seat of one never operated it might you know might not even ever seen one but they'll give their opinion on what they think about the tractor and I mean anyone can have an opinion there's nothing wrong with that but this channel you know if you want to learn about these arcade tractors you can come to this channel and watch the videos you know you may you know see me great in a driveway that's similar to yours you know then that you can do that project with that size tractor or putting in a food plot running a six foot tiller off this tractor using the the you know the arcade 24 that is that's a really cool tractor I don't know man when this is all said and done I don't know how this is gonna shake out and I really don't but I find myself gonna need three tractors somehow I don't know how I can swing that but we'll see but anyway that is my honest opinion on arcade tractors I haven't had one bit of problem not one with any of them if I do you'll be the first to know that's about it so far so good and I hope everybody has a good rest of your week and weekend and we'll see you on the next one thanks [Music]
