hi this is Rhett Miller sales manager here at Miller's RV and I am here and standing in front of the brand new Cortez 2022 17 foot camper [Music] I wanted to start I'll walk around on this coach obviously on the front on the outside again because it's a beautiful day on top of everything else but four things that I want to show you up front this coach is equipped with the Val automatic jack system and what that does is that controls all four of your corner Jacks and it also controls your power hitch Jack to take it on and off of the coach now obviously it's convenient to be able to do all of this from one location and normally on a trailer in this size range you don't see this high of a quality of a jack system so there again this is a huge benefit to going to one of the Cortez's also if you look behind me it is equipped with two five gallon propane bottles which obviously will be full of via US once we do the walkthrough on this coach and then right behind it they do something that I haven't seen on any of these is a supply from the factory a double battery box that way if you do want to go off grids you can put two AGM or even lithium batteries up front and the box and straps are already provided for you on this coach right behind the battery box this does have an external uh battery cutoff switch that is installed from the factory and the advantage to that is is it'll be covered underneath the warranty by Cortez now we're going to walk around to the other side all right now we moved over to the opposite door side of the 2022 Cortez here at Miller's RV and there's just a few features that are pretty common on every trailer that I want to point out on this side we do have a 25 foot twist lock power cord that comes with this coach and you also have separate holding tanks which again on a 17 foot trailer is a little bit unusual but it does have separate black and gray tanks which you pull Valves and it does come with the sewer hose that stores in your back bumper back here now the other features that you want to take a look on this side you do have your city water connection your freshwater tank film in case you do want to go primitive camping and then of course you've got your electric jacks on both sides now we went ahead and upgraded this one and put the aluminum wheels on it just gives the coach a little bit better look on the outside and remember this coach is available right now in three different colors this is the white which is the one that they built first next week we're going to have a seafoam green come in and then two weeks after that they've got a bright blue that they're coming out with all right here we are on the rear of the Cortez um and obviously not the only thing you've got back here is the spare tire but I wanted to talk a little bit about the axle system that they use on here um of course they do Supply matching spare so if you do the aluminum wheels you do get the aluminum spare also which again is an upgrade on this camper but this coach is uh equipped with a Timberline axle-less system and what that means for you is number one you're going to have more ground clearance number two you don't have any maintenance to do on an axle at all on this coach and you don't have to ever worry about that getting out of alignment and wearing your tires early now another advantage to it is is they Supply you and when I say that I mean Cortez not Timberline but they buy three uh spindles with every coach instead of just two so in one of your inside compartments you've got a full spindle all your bearings and all the extra pieces that you'll need in case you have trouble on the road you can change this on the side of the road with nothing but a socket set all right oh last piece on the outside we're here on the actual entry door side of the 2022 Cortez 17 foot and just a couple of things I wanted to point out and talk about here a lot of people have talked about their door they actually took forever to develop this design they were trying to find something different than that old oblong Circle uh window on the door and this is what they ended up with and I think it just gives it an unbelievably different look now you also have a double set of outlets on this coach uh and the one talking about the windows a little bit on here and I'll kind of show you how they operate because you do have to open them from the inside but this is a double acrylic window with insulation built on the inside of it because of the Dead air space and what that's going to do for you in the South obviously is full of the air conditioning in a lot better for you it's also got more noise reduction and if that's going to help you sleep at night now the other thing is and again I'll show you this when we go in you can open up all of these windows all the way around this coach and on a nice breezy day like today you really don't need the air conditioning so there again if you want to go off period this is the type of camper to do it with all right now we moved inside the 2022 Cortez 17 foot just to go ahead and search on touch on all the features here inside and I'm going to start kind of in the back of the coach and we'll kind of work our way forward but you'll notice we were talking about the wind design side as far as the double acrylic these are very very easy to operate you've got one handle on one side one in the center and then one on opposite side and then you pop these windows out and you can adjust them at any distance that you want to get the airflow in here an advantage with this because you have one that's wrapped all the way around like I said on a good fall day you don't even need the air conditioner just simply release the handle there and then lock it in position and you're ready to go okay and then there again I know y'all can't tell the noise reduction but because it's double pane it makes a big difference on the inside okay now also built into these is what we call day night shades the bottom ones you push in and lift up and this will give you day shape and then if you do want some privacy in here or if you change and clothes or shower and of course at night you can pull down the night shift and they are built into all of the windows you don't have to go out and try and find something to fit these windows they're already built in there for you okay and it's just a simple pull and push to be able to do that now if you look around the top of this coach you're going to notice that the cabinet doors are completely different everything that this company does is Marine based so that's the reason for the one piece fiberglass the one piece fiberglass floor and these are actually hatches out of the body booster and there again it's designed to take a beating because going up and down the highway is probably not as bad as going and hitting those waves at 40 50 miles an hour their positive latch and you'll see that the hinges are down on the bottom instead of the top so you don't have to have the pneumatic pieces or magnets built in to be able to hold them in these fold downward which makes it a little bit easier in my opinion to load and unload okay so there again that'll be one of the difference that you see on this having dinette table is going to be your main bed all you have to do you got a latch here where you pull this bed out and you can turn and swivel this or push it left to right it'll go any direction but once you get that bed pulled out you've got a release for it here you push it down the bed sets down into our table sets down in position and the cushions draw across you never have to take the weight of the entire uh tabletop like you do in some of the other brain very easy to operate now we talked about the sink cover I think Jeff touched on that when we were talking outside but if you look at the drawers in this again this is marine grade all of this is composite there is absolutely no wood in this at all and all of the center pieces as far as the dividers come out and you can change the layout inside here if you've got the bigger stuff that you want to put in there now the coach is equipped with a rooftop air conditioner which is the medic and the controls are on it it's not a central unit but you'll notice in it but we're just pointing that out a few seconds ago there's a dampener in the front that's blocking most of the air to come towards the back because this is going to be your sleeping area and you do have a downdraft drill that you can open on this divert all of the air right here into the kitchen area when you're cooking so there again it kind of thought of everything as far as trying to cool this coach off and you'll notice the entertainment system that we've got built overhead this is a Jensen um actual Marine radio and marine speakers built in back here and think I've actually got the same system built into my bay boat and then you've got a 19 inch television with built-in DVD across the back and it is on swing mounts where you can watch it from anywhere inside the coach okay now and you'll notice uh wrapped around you have three of them uh for when you're actually sleeping in bed you actually have touch lights up underneath here where you don't have to get up and turn them on and off but you hit them once and they have a soft blue LED that comes on and then if you want a reading light you can actually hit it a second time and it gives you led reading lights all the way around I thought it's kind of a neat feature in here now we're going to trade places and I'm gonna move up front and we'll start talking about the kitchen area all right we're here in the kitchen area of the Cortez and we do have furion uh cooking appliances in here with a three burner gas range and one thing that you don't get much in these campers is in this size is it actually has an oven in here and let me tell you cooking biscuits in that versus any other way it's worth its weight in gold now one thing I do like about it is this thing is built equipped with LED lights and again it's a lot softer light at night now you have your vent and stove hood above it and then of course monitoring panel here Suburban water heater system here furnace system by profacts here it is equipped with a two OSB ports there and they're lighted and in all the tanks on this coach have 12 volt heating built into them so this is a true Four Seasons coach you can take this anywhere in the country you want to go do have a furion microwave here and also a furion 12 volt compressor driven double door refrigerator now the reason they went with this is they wanted something that would get cold in 45 minutes to an hour instead of the old standard RV Refrigeration okay now the furion appliances in my opinion a little bit better looking they're a little bit more expensive but they're also lighter in weight so that's another reason that they went with this particular frame now right above my head you do have a 12 inch fan and it will pull in or pull out depending on what you're doing and it's very important again when you're cooking in a small space like this make sure you use that overhead and again when you do the shower because it will create some steam inside here now one of the nice features on this is the size of this van this is a crew if you want it to be a dry bath it does have everything all molded into one but toilet is separate from the shower area and you do have a high-rise sink right here and you also have your own little custom-made toilet paper cover right here so you don't get it wet hands-free shower up top shower curtain and Rod and it is a spring loaded but it is mounted okay so it's not gonna come loose on you no matter what you do with it you do have a second seating area in here now the cushions on this are permanently mounted in this coach so there's no storage up underneath it but all of your cushions on the back dinette setup are removable and they have storage hatches all the way around on there it's actually a good bit of storage on the inside of this coach they used every space that they could now you'll also notice next to the door that we have two more storage areas you have positive latches on both sides and if you wanted to they designed this to where you could put a wardrobe bot in there if you wanted to hang some shirts or if you want the W jeans over on the hanger you can get those in there too and you've got another one at the bottom the same size as this one like I said for a small camper there's just a lot of feature to this coach and a big advantage to it is is it is all fiberglass um your roof is one piece your four is all one piece there's absolutely no carpet and no wood in this construction at all we're very proud of it and I'm very proud to be a dealer and we are the number 10 dealer that they signed in the country the owner and I actually went up to the factory we were there probably an hour looking at this product and asked them where we could sign we were that excited about it y'all come down here come take a look at this product visit us at
