2022 Newmar Dutch Star 40' with $80K in options!

eighty thousand dollars in options and you've got the msrp right there do you wanna kind of go over some of those eighty thousand dollars in options and share it and share some of the big options with yeah absolutely [Music] ladies and gentlemen today we found a 2022 newmar dutch star this is a 40-foot coach with a tag axle today we're hanging out at transwest with lance how you doing today sir doing great how you doing buddy excellent thank you it's a beautiful day here in missouri we're not going to get too many more of these i think this is probably gonna be one of our last really good uh warm days and uh man i'm just i'm really excited to be able to show you what we got going on here with our 40-foot dutch stars pretty nice yes so this is the 40-81 floor plan and this is on the spartan chassis now this particular coach you said had eighty thousand dollars in options yeah so we get we really just decided to load this thing up so you said the full msrp on this was full msrps 536 998. at transwest we really try to do something that separates us from the pack so even the paint color here this is not something that you get with standard from newmar we actually have this custom made per transwest specifications so this is a special exterior color that we've done ourselves and like you were saying it is on the spartans on the k2 chassis what's going to be really nice about this coach being on that spartan k2 it's going to give you a lot of cargo carrying capacity i think you're sitting right around 11 000 pounds worth of cargo this thing will carry which is just incredible for any motorhome you're gonna have a 15 000 pounds of towing capacity tip to rear you're about 40 foot 10 inches overall so all you folks out there that might have let's say a stacker trailer uh maybe a longer horse trailer and you just need that extra length on your trailer going to a nice short coach like this is going to be really beneficial especially with this tag axle it's just going to give you a lot more stable feel you're not going to get the tail wag and the dog just a very nice comfortable ride overall yeah newmar is the only one in the industry that does a 40 foot with a tag axle that i know of for right now as far as i know uh newmar is the only one that has these shorter coaches in that tag axle option and speaking of tag axle they did upgrade because this was an upgrade from the freightliner to the spartan if it was on those uh freightliner i think you're talking about 10 to 12 degree wheel cut here in the back but because we spent a little extra money and we will spartan this wheel cut will have a 17 degree turn on it so later on we'll do a little maybe do a little u-turn here in the parking lot and kind of just show you how sharp this coach will turn there's just a lot of benefit a lot of value built into that chassis what is that the cummins 450 yeah so this is going to have uh the cummins 450 we're measuring in at about uh i would say 40 about 41 foot 40 foot eight inches 10 inches somewhere in there oh yeah i tell you what you marry up a short coach tag axle the comfort drive system it's going to be a drive that a lot of a lot of other our competition just can't be yeah well it's uh it's a little tight quarters here at uh transwest there's a lot of super nice coaches around here you want to see if we can't make a u-turn in a tight uh deal then let's take it for a test drive yeah let's do it here goes nothing wow looks like we won't even need but maybe half the space yeah wow that's pretty incredible [Music] i think that's got to be one of the tiny tightest turning radiuses in the industry huh well i'll tell you what you know when you get into a uh you know coach is this this short and that 17 degree uh passive tag just helping with that turning it just it makes getting out of a pickle pretty nice newmar likes to do what's called a masterpiece finish they really put a lot of focus on their paint and i tell you what uh they do they are not they are like the best in the industry when it comes to doing paint when you look at the the sidewall here right you're gonna notice we also went with the gerard nova awning package with that what that's going to entail is two of the larger awning gerard awnings that are rooftop mounted that's on the other side that come out and then drop down but it also comes with these power window armors now what i like about the power window awnings over manual is usually on the manual you got to get that rod you got to pull the awning out and it flips to a little tab here on the side wall yeah but with a power awning you can bring it out 25 50 75 you can kind of pick and choose where you want that awning to be at so you're not just limited to one choice i was saying how much is the gerard awnings so the gerard awning package for the dust jar is fifteen thousand three hundred and ninety three dollars so wow it's it's quite the pricey deal but i tell you what it is one of the most impressive things that you will ever see once you push that button and then awnings come out and drop down it's really impressive notice this stainless strip along the bottom is that a standard on the dutch star or is that an option oh that's another option along with the chrome uh baggage door handles here yeah one thing i'd like you to notice here andre you notice how this door is dropping yeah okay so that's on a nice little slipper hinge so if this door is open and you start to close your slides you're not going to crunch your door yes sir down and out of the way now we're here at the web bay i mean just look at this thing it's just really well done i mean clearly labeled you got your water filtration system here this is on a power cord reel what i like about that you got that little knockout right there so you're not having to snake the hose through the hole there got a lot nicer finish here for your hot cold water uh shower head it is equipped with the rv santa calm now some people prefer the rv santa claus some people prefer to do a manual dump i prefer this guy right here but if you do want to do a manual dump it is right there you can use it this is going to be sleeved now this is just going to be a plastic hose we put this we get this sleeve because the last thing you want is a hole yeah the plastic right this is called a stinky slinky for a reason yes sir yes sir now um what are the uh tank capacities what's the fresh water gray and black water fresh water you're hitting about 105 gallons um let's see gray you're 75 and then black is 55. okay and so would that be a little bit smaller than uh if it was a 45 foot dutch star so no on the 45 dutch star uh they're going to be the same one okay 105 105 75 55. okay cool you might get a little bit bigger uh gray tank maybe about 10 more gallons on the larger uh 43 foot okay yeah and i love this paint job every time i uh just gotta step back a couple feet just to admire it we did equip this with the docking lights so you're gonna have one here in the rear you do have one in the front we opted to have the omniview system on this so this is gonna be your bird's eye 360 degree camera system yeah so on this coach it's got seven cameras total you got your left right and rear camera but then you also have four other cameras which are located in the center of the side and the front and rear we opted for the omniview system right that gives you seven exterior cameras all together outside so you got your left right and your rear but then you also got your 360 degree camera system which gives you that burst eye view over the coach so it's a nice little security feature too so if you're at your rv park you can go to that omni system and uh if you're hearing noises maybe there's a critter or you know if you're out there in the wilderness that there's a bear creeping around the coach you can kind of see what's going on around the on around the rv so i like that what's the cost on that option so let's see the omniview system is 31.65 okay yeah and a lot of this stuff is going to be standard when you get into like the king airs and the mountaineers and stuff yeah when you start getting into like king errors you might see you know options might be like 20 30 grand there's not too much to put on those um but you know when you start scaling down uh on those coaches then well it just leaves a lot of room like you know slide trays would normally be standard ice chest the gerard nova awnings that are in the roof which is a 15 dollar option um that's the stuff that you'd need to add onto the dust start which fortunately we did add into this dutch chart so that's just stuff that you don't have to put on and uh just adds a ton of value to this coach coming over here to the next bay we're gonna have um our power cord reel what i like about this is when you pull this thing out you hate your uh controls right here on the door oh yeah right so pretty convenient easy peasy course this has the knockout as well so you're not having to make this big old beast through a hole you've got your surgery uh protection system right down here so a lot of nice features in that i like hearing the cost of all these options absolutely so um you know again we got the spartan chassis uh that's uh which is about a 5800 uh option the oasis system this is gonna be responsible for heating the coach as well as heating the water so this is gonna be on a dual loop system so it gives you a nice consistent heat it's actually splits it up so all the registers have pretty much equal heat all throughout the coach diesel or electric so if you're dry camping you can run the diesel if you're at an rv park you can actually run just the electric function and then it'll say you have friends and family over and you don't want a whole lot of recovery time with the water just run both the diesel and the electric and then you'll have no problem okay and it does have heated floors inside yeah it's going to have heated floors and all i'll tell you something else pretty special about that when we get in there something that they didn't have in earlier models but i think you're gonna love it we've got the heated tile floors which is about an eight thousand dollar upgrade and you know believe it or not uh folks i'm just telling you you better get you better get one of these uh you want to ask for the msrp because i've actually had a customer call me one time they were really upset because they bought a coach from somebody and it didn't have heated towel floors and um i ended up losing a deal over it because uh that coach was cheaper yeah uh at the end of the day my coach had more options and believe it or not i gained that guy as a customer so it was it was pretty impressive got a nice little uh editing slide tray here now this is going to go either direction so if you get somebody parking a little too close to you on this side of the coach you can run it out that way two slide trays down there down below uh the first one was 11 47 and the other one is a thousand now all the bays are going to be well lit and the installation package on these dutch jars are just phenomenal uh down here at the bottom this floor right here is approximately three inches it's all filled with foam block insulation so uh all this area for your cold weather travelers this is all going to be heated bay down here your oasis system can keep it all protected what comes standard in these coaches would be six six volt batteries we opted to go uh we stepped it up and went with eight agm batteries so this is gonna give you a lot of power for all your boondockers dry campers you're not going to have any issues with power this can run just about everything in that coach nice now can you run air conditioning units on just the back you can't run air conditioning you will have to run the generator yeah but everything else no problem the all electric option here which is going to be about a 3 800 upgrade now what that's gonna do is uh you don't have anything propane in this coach uh stove refrigerator everything's electric but what it also does is instead of having the six agm batteries yeah we get eight so a lot of power for this coach um if you're gonna for all your dry campers out there you're gonna be loaded with power now it is gonna be pre-wired for solar so if you decide you wanna put some solar up on the roof no problem and i mean that was a small upgrade it was 281 dollars but you know it's a lot easier to do it at the factory than it is to say and do it afterwards so yeah now how much was that all-electric option so the all-electric option is uh 38 38.86 this is going to be the diesel fuel area now what i like what newmar is doing here is the attention to detail a lot of times when you start looking at the way that they do things like for instance the field cap here right they continue the design right through it a lot of people just like a black lid right there so they don't really skip any detail it does have the nice uh durabrite rims right it's gonna be easier to maintain and this is going to be our little uh nice little place for uh your fuses if you have a power seat that goes out or something this is where you go to get a thing curved nice shae you mind if i get your help over here yeah we're gonna we're gonna teach you how to use your new coach just give that a little pull right there that black handle yeah oh so earlier dasher models you actually it was kind of a pain you had this rod that you have to do this and hold that i mean i love the fact that they've got these stress on it now so it makes it really nice and easy this is going to have an 8 000 kilowatt onan diesel generator i think one of the things that i actually appreciate and it's a small option it's a hot water line to the generator it's like 281 dollars but man i'm telling you uh if anybody's ever rv'd you're going to just know that front of your coach is just going to be filled with bugs right and to be able to have a hot water spigot right up there at the front so yeah in a little pressure sprayer to clean off the front of the coach i mean it's just a it's just a nice little yeah hot water definitely makes the bugs come off easier and what they also did is we opted to have the hot water spigot brought up here so if you're smashing bugs and you get to your location and you want to bring a little pressure sprayer you got a nice hot water speaker right there that you can tie your pressure sprayer off and clean the front of the coach off i can appreciate that coming around the corner you see some really nice uh big chrome mirrors over here now i'm six foot and one thing that i can appreciate is i'm not always paying attention sometimes and you know what i've i've hit my head a few times on some of these things but this thing's sitting high enough where i'm not going to be bumping into it it's good it's a good perspective here i think you might have hit your head if you were to walk into that one so that one i would definitely be able to hit without um we did option to have the clear bra put on it so it does have that diamond shield on here to help protect that paint that's always a good investment we do have a nice little for all you football fans or if you're patriotic we got a little flagpole nice holder right there so always a nice feature yeah that's something i haven't seen before i like that feature a lot of nascar fans a lot of folks out there can appreciate that you know in transwest we just became sponsors for the kansas city chiefs we actually started something was called rv row so we actually have a special area designated there at the arrowhead stadium where it's motorhomes only and what a great place to hang a nice little kansas city chiefs right on there again with that stainless steel trim kit right we finish out the steps right to kind of flow with the rest of the coach so really nice feature there you do have your keyless entry uh you know if you're out there in your side by side or in your four-wheeler the last thing you want to do is go hunting for keys right this just makes life a lot more simpler it's a little easier to get into just punch in the code and you're we got our docking lights here again one in the front one there in the back and i'm really happy that these guys option to have the the freezer here because i'm telling you right now uh i actually have a customer who just bought a dutch star from me and we're having a hard time getting these things yeah i mean it's just cars are so low and uh there's just a shortage on everything so uh i can really appreciate the the fact that these guys spent a little extra money getting the ice chest put in here getting the sliced trays put in so and this is definitely a much higher end this model this the cfx is one of the more higher end one of the newer model uh dometics it absolutely is so this is going to be all visually controlled over here you can actually program this to be refrigerator refrigerator refrigerator freezer so it just depends on what you want maybe ice cream on one side beverages on the other yeah so yeah pretty nice little upgrade compared to the older dometics yeah great option to have especially right here next to your outside entertainment bay yeah so this is gonna have uh our nice little samsung tv does have the bose sound bar on it and you know one of the things that i can appreciate i just love this feature right here is this little switch right it doesn't take a rocket scientist if you want music to go to this bose speaker and you're playing some nice tunes there on the dash inside the coach you can just flip that switch to radio dash radio and you've got music coming out of your sound bar pretty nice feature so again we got the nice little slide tray and uh one of the things i want to point out here andrew is if you look at these uh these cross members this is what newmar calls their star foundation which stands for strong true and robust that just does a lot to reinforce the overall structural uh just the strength of this coach all the framing in this thing is 16 inches on center so just a really well built machine you know when you have this slide tray again like i said if somebody's parked too close over there you can bring your cargo out this way for you now we could have opted just to have one tray but we decided to go with the other one too i don't like to go in there and crawl in after my goods i like to bring them out to me so you we also often have the central back and then if you uh if for any reason if your gerard awnings up there uh stop working there is a manual override you got them two white boxes down there you can just push the reset button and you're off and running so for all you guys who like to bring your cordless drills your tools you got a nice little pegboard this is where you'd access you get to maybe like your fresh water tanks uh but you know instead of just using it that was just empty space and now we made it usable space so pretty nice uh feature having that little tool tray in there i've actually seen a customer who didn't do tools but he had like whiskey vodka i mean it was put a little lighting in there turn it into a little mini bar yeah i like it passive steer tag really incredible turning radius of this coach got an emergency egress store as well yep true to newmar fashion uh these folks like to have a nice little egress door uh when this thing opens up uh it does have a ladder that will pop out hey guys there he is all right lance let's see how quickly you can get out here so you know i kind of like how this toilet's not right here i don't have nothing to step over it's going to be really nice you just let this drop and that's it boom that was quick you know and it's just as fast you know what other than just being an emergency i mean if you guys are let's say you're loading up if you're doing a walmart or even dry cleaning if you've got a bunch of clothes and you just want to hand it off back in uh you know a lot of different stuff yeah yep you can bring it right through the back door so pretty easy for loading up your coach awesome well i'm just getting a sneak peek of the inside woodwork in there you think we can take the uh folks on a tour of the inside of this coach absolutely let's go do it it's going into the entryway here i know in that last coach you showed us there's there's some storage down here yeah so you know this is just a nice anybody's got pets i mean this could be for anything right dirty shoes uh you can put your leashes in there this is a little bit deeper storage same as this but a little bit deeper so if you want to put some dog food or something in there you can definitely do that yeah and then you could see that step cover there but let's go take a look inside here absolutely [Music] lance this is a good-looking coach what's going on sir oh man this thing is just absolutely gorgeous so again like i said this thing has about eighty thousand dollars worth of added options in it almost like a 40-foot king air with all these options on it it is i mean it's it's loaded to the gills folks one of the things that i said that i was going to talk to you about inside on these newer models now i mean you do have the heated top floors because you were asking about that earlier but they also have heated towels lights so that gives you if you're sitting here at the the dinette table you're not sitting here with a warm foot on this side and a cold foot on the other then you'll notice just how flush this floor is too yeah absolutely and just a beautiful high gloss tile floor as well beautiful porcelain tile you know and um when these things come out and they drop down completely seals around the slide on other motor homes and i challenge you guys to do this a slide will come out right you usually got like a little rubber flange if you were to walk outside and push up on that flange you could see inside the coach so that's letting in dust you know wind it's just not a very good thing but with this on the newmar as you can see this is a nice full wall slide but it's completely sealed around here and when you're sitting down here on the chair it's not sitting cockeyed yeah yeah i like that yeah so just a nice flush floor all the way across with that full wall slide really a lot of room here and shae's hanging out here with us today shay what do you think of this 2022 dutch star you know i think it's 40 feet of pure luxury in here absolutely so shea's sitting in a nice uh entertainment theater seating they are they do have the power options there so you got little power controls here and you also do have i'm sorry i didn't mean to get in your way there no you're okay yeah but um you do also have this nice big deep storage yeah so what's really nice about that pillow is blankets right and then you've got a slidable tray here remotes or whatnot there and a lot of armrest space there really on both sides and really you know large seats is that pretty comfortable yeah i'm just making myself right at home here power theater sitting that's not uh that doesn't come standard that was an option that was about a 2600 upgrade and then right across from the theater seating you've got a tv and a televator there what i like about this the way this is set up is you're not sacrificing your window because during the day you know you might be at a ocean view one day mountain view the next and one of the things that you want to do is appreciate the view so you still got all your window space there in the kitchen and across from us here but during the night you want to watch your movie it just comes nice and conveniently out of that cabinet and a pretty nice little feature so this is going to be a 55-inch samsung tv and it is going to have a nice sound system above there it's all going to be bose i mean uh i honestly can't think of anything that you could really add on i mean we even got the satellite system on there we got that nice high definition satellite so shea you just got to kind of see the whole walk through we did on this coach what what did you like about this coach um so with the kitchen i love how much space there is in here when we initially walked in it felt like there wasn't going to be a lot of counter space with this being a little bit shorter of a coach you know i felt like it was going to be a little bit more um you'd notice that it's smaller and it definitely feels really large in here with the slide outs out um i don't notice that it's any any shorter than the other coaches that we've been in honestly yeah um and then with the counter space here with this pulled out you have so much space here so um when you flip this over like like uh lance mentioned you know there's cutting boards right here um so a lot of space i mean i've got plenty of cooking i don't know what whether i should cook breakfast or lunch or dinner right now um with the shades down right now yeah i don't know what time of day it is but i know i got plenty of room to cook i like it anything you don't like about this coach well that was going to be what i didn't like about it was that i didn't think there was enough counter space um but lance proved me wrong and there's plenty of counter space here um still you know good sized sink too that's always something that i'm looking at and you know we got both sides over here so plenty of space for for doing dishes as well nice what do you think of the styling of this coat i really like it i mean it's got that warm cozy feel in here um i really like the crown molding that you're pointing out and then the the lights too just all the light features in here are pretty great it's gonna be a trifold couch this is going to come out to here so you can sleep actually two full adults here um and then you've got a nice king bed back there so this is gonna be sleeping for four yeah and one thing i want to point out is we're talking here the the ceiling treatment with that diamond pattern and and the lighting just a beautiful ceiling you know i'm kind of glad you brought that up andrew the the way that newmar designed this this is what they call comfort air now typically what you'll see in other coaches is you'll see like round pucks that go down both sides of the coach now uh not a bad idea when the slides are open but when you're in travel mode and let's say you're going through a hot air like arizona your neck of the woods yes sir right you got the slides closed well you got them vents cooling off the top of your slides right but by having your ventilation here in the center which kind of circulates like this with the slides closed you still got the nice air conditioning cooling in the space so and there's also a sound deadening feature to that as well so there's there's a this is going to be a whisper quiet ac system this the air conditioners are completely out of this coach now typically when you walk into a motor home you're going to see a plastic grate you pull that grate off you can see the motor yeah where these units are completely outside of the coach it's all piped in and there and they're going to be 15 uh m penguin air conditioners what's going to be nice about this is it's whisper quiet so when you're sitting here watching a tv you don't have to turn the volume up when the ac kicks on i just want to show you the uh the accent lighting in this thing yeah so i'll get everybody a close-up of that there's a texture that i don't know if the camera's picking up but so that's actually really well done the lighting that they put in that it's not just a rope lighting it's a light bar and they they borrow hole down through solid wood so it runs the whole length of this uh nice column i mean a lot of a lot of companies will just run some rope lighting behind trim and call their accent lighting but they take it to another level with this dutch car yeah they they really did so this is uh called the bermuda glaze cabinets it's going to be a matte finish it's going to be the bahama decor and you can just see it's absolutely beautiful all the the cabinets here it's got the hidden hardware so nothing exposed great storage space all throughout the coach you've got nice high-end appliances you've got the whirlpool convection microwave oven i love these little these covers not do they just look good but they're actually practical you got the cutting boards here on the other side so they're actually usable yeah true to newmar fashion this thing here pops out so if uh you got your little picnic table set up out there you can if you're cooking fish and you want to do that outside take it out there with you and plug it in yeah and i'll show everybody it just easily plugs in there's a 110 uh plug right here so there's an outlet inside of there and yeah you just pull that out and keep any cooking smells outside of the coach absolutely need a little extra counter space no problem you just push the little button down here and uh really long drawers right these guys uh really did a great job this is all soft clothes all really nice high-end cabinetry something that you don't see in a lot of homes this is this is really nice one of the things i want to point out to you too is if you look at the the header here just uh the exquisite work that they did of this the crown molding that they put on here you got uh three different levels of crown molding you got some here you got some back here behind the slide and then you got another level here so multi-tiered ceiling just a really nice touch and uh here's another nice little feature so again we spared no expense with this coach it does have the power window awnings so let's bring down the day shades one touch of the button you can bring all your shades down nice now can you night shades as well absolutely so all night i like to see how it looks with all the nightshades as well so it'll close everything in the coach except for the front windshield do we have to manually close the front windshield yeah it does have a power uh option up here but you've got to do it uh up here and uh it's just because of uh you know i think it's a safety thing built into this because this is where you look out when you're driving yeah if someone pressed a button you wouldn't want it to accidentally come down on a driver but check this out with all the nightshades closed you wouldn't know if it was even daylight outside and then you can really get an appreciation for all of the lighting in here really a nice feel any other big options some of the other nice upgrades that i actually like is the um which we i showed you earlier was the power shades yeah right i mean at the end of the day you're tired and you know for all you folks you're working folks that you know you just got done with your day you don't have to go down and shut down each individual slate you can push one button all the shades come down and you're done lots to be said about that what's the cost on that option so the power shades are 41.45 oh yeah i tell you what worth every penny yeah absolutely and you know although i push one button they all come down uh you can cycle through and you can close and open individual ones right at a time so this is a great coach for again for people who want to maybe they have a longer trailer they want to tow because we're only sitting at uh just a hair under 41 feet so this is 40 foot 10 inches all together um but this is a great coach for all those people who are thinking about maybe telecommuting a lot of people you know after covet unfortunately happen a lot of companies are having people work out a home now and i've actually had some customers who have sold their homes and they're working full-time out of their coach so this gives you a nice uh room for company with that couch just across from the entertainment theater seating but again you do also have a nice work station here too it doesn't only just look nice but it actually has some good practical use to it you've got some nice buffet area here so if you're sitting down having a nice meal i'm a six foot guy 260 pounds and you can notice i got plenty of room yeah um this is kind of what i like about the table and chairs set up you can have your beverages and your other platters up here and it's not encroaching on your eating space yeah a lot of extra countertop spacer like you were saying working on the road if you wanted to have a laptop and maybe some paperwork or other uh monitors going on there yep got some nice little drawers down here extra cabinet space some people might actually put a desktop down there you do got a little knockout right here so if you want to run some wires up here and have a big monitor up here you'll do it nice and you do have a 110 outlet over here and you do have another one over there as well yeah with usb ports as well and i always like to comment on the style of the light switches that newmar uses i really like that design as well as the wallpaper and the scon sliding and yeah i think they just did a great job with this uh with the bahama um just a nice little weave pattern that's in there now i like the multiple tier lights too right you got some underneath uh the cabinet lights then you got something here on the ceiling and then you got some more just above here so i mean if you do have to work away from home and you are telecommuting it gives you a really nice space to work in you have the residential refrigerator here this is going to be the whirlpool and now this coach does have the water filtration system outside in the wet bay but one of the things that i do like now this does have a lock on it you just give it a little swipe to the right i don't know how many of you guys have a coach now and you've actually had the refrigerator open up i just tried to open it the lock was engaged so i couldn't do it so kind of a nice little feature you don't have the knob to turn i like that yeah yeah you don't want your refrigerator clearing out while you're going down the road that's right ketchup everywhere not a good area so um does have the water purification system in there so uh i mean the water before the water comes out here out of the dispenser it's being filtered twice so that's nice now this does have this nice little pantry it lights up as i open up the door now again just like this refrigerator i have unlock all these actually have a lock now if you listen when i push this thing you hear that lock so that's a locking mechanism if i pull on this it won't come out you actually have to push on the drawer to uh to release the lock and now you can pull off so and these are all adjustable um you can raise or lower them if you want to get some of them taller items in there nice now this is going to be a bath and a half uh this is going to be our half bath over here now i think even matt could get in there i think this would be yeah yeah yeah absolutely shout out to matt's rv reviews and yeah it's definitely a porcelain toilet having quite a bit of space around there i think matt would give it the thumbs up we'd be hearing the ding right now we closed the door you know what you're six foot two andrew why don't you sit on that sc i mean this is this is matt's you know this is copyrighted by matt you want to hold that for a second let me know if your your knees close the door so this door kind of pivots right here all right man we're going to close the door on you okay yeah oh yeah no problem yeah i mean you can see it does not hit my door or does not hit my knee at all to the door plenty of room if i was matt you'd be hearing the ding right now so yeah yeah and then you were also mentioning uh kind of the hardware how this door swivels so that you can get in and out even when the slide outs are in when you're going down the road yeah so it pivots right here in the middle so when the slides are closed it kind of opens in the middle and then comes in this way then that way you can the refrigerator is accessible the bathroom's accessible what i really do like about uh this half bath they give you a lot of counter space here right so you got lots of water there sorry about that yeah you're fine here you go um got this really nice vanity plenty of storage here and then this is going to be where you get to your breaker and your fuses got a couple of 110 outlets there and i just like how newmar just finishes everything out i mean you could have just had a metal boxer but it's in a cabinet very nice you do have power shades here in the bathroom as well you've got a day and night shade nice oh there it is and is that window vent out it looks like it'll uh open so uh yeah this will open up and vent out and then you also have your overhead vent so you can get some nice nice air circulation there this is one of the things i love about this uh floor plan is just how wide this opening is in here yeah with that full wall slide and 40 foot coach with a bath and a half i'm looking forward to seeing the rear bathroom because it's a lot of coach packed into 41 feet so guys this is gonna have a nice little uh frosted glass so if you want to close off the rear bedroom here oh yeah i like it and that'll lock it's got its own self-locking mechanism here in the door but yes you got people coming back and forth you're not bumping into each other again we follow into the into the bedroom with this nice overhead trimmed out ventilation system as you can see we also uh finished off the columns with the accent lighting here as well and i'm pretty excited to tell you about this this is going to be a power bed who doesn't love a power bed the king size power bed too right size sleep number power bed actually just by a push of a button here you can just lay that thing nice and flat but i don't know how they did it but if you can get a sleeve number turn into a power bed i actually you know one of the other nice things too was that um power bed that we have so the power retracting bed is four thousand thirty one dollars with dutch star i love the fact that they don't have any carpet on the slide outs yep right uh heated slide out so if you're standing here you got one foot on the slide out one foot in the bedroom i don't got cold hot it's a nice even heating all throughout the coach nice got some great cabinet space here all throughout the coach a lot of wardrobe there and i like to point out that that same you know the inside of the cabinets are finished out as well yeah they really try to make a nice consistency all throughout the coach the solid surface that we're seeing in the kitchen you see on the dinette you see here on the dressers here that all that same theme just has a nice float all throughout the coach even the little end tables here on both sides of the bed uh just has that same nice consistent flow 40 foot with the with a bath and a half i'm i'm uh curious so a little bit of a step up here i'm noticing as we go into the rear bathroom but then also the ceiling gets a little bit taller here what's going on there so a couple things reason why they do that is um some of them older coaches you have that great big rise and hump and you have to kind of stand up on that hump to get to the closet well if you come back here you've got a nice flush floor all throughout the bathroom so if i'm standing here i want to get into the closet i'm not having to step up onto this big old device um but one of the things that newmar's done to kind of give you a little added benefit is they actually raised the ceiling as well so they give you a nice arch ceiling here so i mean i'm six foot you've got plenty of help i mean i i think a seven foot guy could fit in here no problem yeah and there's an emergency egress store that you uh demonstrated thanks for demonstrating that yeah so yeah you got the nice egress door here and then you've got your power button here so if you want to raise or lower the shades here for the door you can do that as well and a good size shower there yeah i mean this thing is just absolutely huge you've got a nice porcelain inlay here in the sidewall and i like is they run it from the floor all the way up they spare no expense on on the work that they do here you've got the nice big overhead uh shower here but you also have a nice little wand right yeah does come with the aquamizer as well so this a little aqua view port this will light up so you can actually when this thing lights up it kind of pre-heats the water so if you're going to try to conserve on water you're not having to sit there with your hand out waiting for it to warm up you can preheat the water before it even comes out of the shower head it looks like it's got that antique seed as well yep got a nice little teak sink you want to sit there and soak you can do it and here's what's the um you know with the oasis system you can literally it's not like being at home if you've you know you take a half hour long shower an hour long shower you can take two hours long if you've got a water source and you're hooked up to power or you've got diesel in the tank it's endless hot water so yeah and coming back you just i've got to point out how much countertop space there is here this is just going to be a little added closet space it does have a little light so we can light it up if you've got some longer jackets maybe some uh for the ladies you might have some dresses you've got a little bit longer uh area in the closet over there so uh plenty of space so you got the bedroom closets you got some extra storage back here you've got some nice extra drawer space here i mean it's just nice soft closed drawers yeah i mean you're just you're just really loaded um with uh drawer space so oh yeah you're definitely not going to be hurting for storage nice big overhead cabinet and these actually run pretty deep oh yeah all right that's probably the one of the deepest medicine cabinets ever absolutely you've got a nice little power outlet down there now what about washer and dryers does this coach have a washer dryer yeah sure does so like i said we spared no expense with this coach uh we added in the washer dryer here it's the splendid stackable washer dryer so uh pretty nice i don't think that there's really anything that we've missed on this coach so you said the full msrp on this was full msrps 536 998 i mean one of the other things i mean we pointed it out earlier uh was that big window over the kitchen oh yeah i rather for me i like looking out the window i don't like staring at a wall you know like if i'm cooking or doing dishes you can sit there and you know uh see what's going on patio side keep in touch with the family and friends and um you know somebody out there all they gotta do is go like that and they know i need a beverage right so yeah um but the window option that was
