Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
My father bought a loaded, 1-owner, 2010 4S for a total value of $35,000 made up of a trade-in and a $5,000 payment. Some people clown on the older design, but for a guy who drove company-supplied Toyota and Ford crossovers for the last 15 years, the Panamera has been the first car in a long time that he's been able to fall in love with. The roar of the V8 on startup is intoxicating.
We should all celebrate cars with character.
The "ghosted" cooled seat button might be the most inconsequential thing has ever upset me so much in a car
I have been looking at used Panamera's AWD V8 Turbo fuck yeah why not!
Baha I've always hated how Porsche would just put blanking plates for options you'd not specced in the button panel, but actually including the graphics for the options and just have them non-functional is utterly abysmal!
Excellent video though, props to the comical timing with the older car's bonnet struts.
I don't care about either of those cars at all, but that was one a great watch. These guys are hitting it out of the park.
Thomas pulling the hood release lever off was perfect comedic timing, and then it got better with the hood shenanigans. Audible laughing on my end.
And I'm hoping a BMW styling dig continues in each video for a while, I wonder how many in a row they can hit. I'll be counting.
The cooled seats button drama, then the "I buy used German cars and watch them break down during my ownership".....
great job boys .
Thomas is right, having non-touchable capacitive buttons for the features you didn't pay for in a car that's well above 150k is insanity. Just Porsche things. I wonder how they'll address the overlap between the Taycan and Panamera, or if they'll just have both as options until the charging infrastructure is where it needs to be.
If I were to buy a used Panamera, it would probably be the six cylinder version just to keep the complexity and potential maintenance down.
Have the push pull shifters in my Cayenne. You get used to them, but I still greatly prefer the traditional pull-pull paddles. At least you can retrofit the newer wheels to get both a multifunction wheel with paddles. Just have to find a wheel + airbag and buy an adapter.
Wow. If I ever was in the market for something like this that non touchable cooled seat thing would make sure I never bought a Porsche lol. That's the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever seen. If I'm ever that rich I pray I don't forget the value of money and can say fuck off to brands who try to guilt you into spending more on top of what is already twice as much as most households earn in years
Using that awful steering wheel is one of the worst decisions Porsche has ever made. Not only is it extremely annoying to use, but it also looks like absolute shit compared to the sport steering wheel.
